She sips on the remains of her iced spiked pink lemonade making the ice jiggle around in the cup as they walk hand in hand. It’s a nice breezy day and y/n really wanted to do sight seeing and what kind of partner would he be if he had said no?

She didn’t want to push him in case they would get noticed or papped because he hasn’t been seen with anyone since his last relationship. Evan thought it was time- he didn’t want to hide her anymore.

He points at a name, Lucille Ball, Evan knows how much she loves her in I love Lucy. Y/n gasps and pulls her phone out from her pocket and sneaks a photo before she pulls in his arm to stop them from walking so she can look at it for just a little longer.

“Wow.” She says in astonishment. “Imagine having your name here?” She says aloud.

“I know. Crazy right.” He says sliding his sunglasses over his eyes.

“I miss her.” Y/n says like she knew her which causes even to chuckle in response as he presses a soft kiss to her hair.

“Me too.”

Y/n smiles up at him knowingly and squeezes his bicep as they make their way down the sidewalk.

Evan glances down at her while he watches her face contort into excitement when she sees the one she’s been thinking about since he brought up coming here.

She unraveled herself from his hold and handed him her phone, her smile wide and her eyes bright as she looked down at the start with her hands on her hips. She sighed dramatically and looked back at him with happiness pouring from her eyes.

“Can you please take a picture?” She asks bashfully.

He nods happily and she bends her knees, getting low beside the start of Audrey Hepburn. She gives him a big smile and poses a few times before she stands up to take the phone back.

“You like them?” He asks as she scrolls through them, smiling from ear to ear.

“Yes!” She sings. “But I want one more.” She decides. She holds the phone up and leans into him “let’s take a selfie with it.”

Evan nods and smiles for the selfie, she takes a few bursts and when she’s done, y/n grabs his hand happily and drags him to the next star.

“Thanks for letting me be a tourist.” She says when they stop to take another pictures

Steve Rogers:

Since he was frozen in the ice, Steve has a lot to catch up on, and that includes movies.

You introduce him to some of your favorites, and he likes them.

His favorite genre is musicals and classic films.

You show him TCM, and he finds a few favorites.

Movie nights with the Avengers are the perfect chance for him to catch up and cross a few films off of his list.

Steve does not like action movies or horror films.

So when the Avengers want to watch either, you and Steve go to your apartment or go to the classic movie theatre.

Modern cineplexes not only confuse Steve, they trigger his PTSD.

You and Steve will watch a musical, or a comedy, or even a classic film when the Avengers show action or horror.

He also likes the original Star Wars and the Star Trek reboots.

He also likes Wonder Woman.

The best part of movie nights with Steve?

Ransom has never had a movie night, not even with his ex.

Ransom finds it exciting, because it's the one night a week where you can have a casual date night.

You show him that you don't have to physically go to the cineplex to enjoy a movie.

mat. i have mixed feelings about u matty. i love them a lot when they're good.. the problem is that they are not always good. mat running across the school to run into mariana's arms when she was in danger IS one of my favorite moments in the show though. i just don't forgive him for his post s5 stuff re: her. but i did once love them most.

caleb. caleb is always vital to mariana because he is vital to callie. she develops a crush on him in verses where he's off in pll instead of beacon hills too. tiffany and i have a fake dating verse for them. they're both very techy and caleb makes her feel so so safe and loved. she is like hanna too in that she would invite him to stay and sneak him into her house of 7 people if she found him at the school.

raj. again. mixed feelings. i cared about them a lot originally but it went down pretty fast. i think they could have been better than they were and i am just. i'm not gonna say it wasn't ic for mariana and evan to happen during this relationship i just don't LIKE it. i don't like anything about it and want mariana to have a better love storyline or none for her to have a good work sl.

lissa. it's literally impossible for me to see christian with anyone else in the series, and i honestly didn't think i'd ship him with anyone else ever because of these two. they're dark and light. both with hearts of gold. rose literally says that christian has a good heart and most of it belongs to lissa. he loves her so much! he'd do anything for her, even if he hates everything political. he learns! he learns how to be a good king because he's gonna be her husband. they're literally picking out baby names 2 months into dating because they know it's it. christian has never cared about anyone else romantically until lissa showed up and suddenly he was like this is the one for me (in every way)

audrey. @heartborrow boy did this one catch me in a chokehold! from the beginning! the way they bring out the best in each other <3 christian and audrey being opposites but both in the same area. black and pink. them understanding each other. they're excellent i love them so much and think about them constantly.

hope. this dynamic is one that just. is everything actually. the way ozera and mikaelson are both very heavy names. people know their family and not for being good but for the wreckage they left. they understand this in each other and are both kinda loners <3 the library as their spot <3 my baker and cook <3

Thoughts: I realize this is an obscene amount of books to read in a month, especially since this is the largest number of books I’ve ever read in a month and it happened in the shortest month of the year. I noticed early on that I was on track to finish one book a day and leaned into that. Plus, I’ve really been going through it, and audiobooks are my escape. 

A standout of the month was Love & Saffron. It’s an epistolary tale of two long-distance friends that will make you tear up. I also finally read Time’s Convert. Not sure why it took me so long to get to it since I loved the All Souls series, but I’m glad I finally got to it. The history pieces piqued my interest in the Marquis de Lafayette, which led to me reading Lafayette in the Somewhat United States. This book was just as charming as Vowell’s others.
