So a couple months ago, I made a 'What if Bridgerton was a comic strip?' thing. I had ideas for more, but so far I've just done 2 very Kate/Anthony centric ones.

Anyway, this was the 1st one. Yeah... in this universe we all just stop pretending that Kate and Anthony aren't obviously end game.

My favourite Kate looks: Number 10, Bridgerton Blue

I am going to look at 10 of my favourite looks for Kate and post on them over the next few months as we wait for her season 3 look.

So, to kickstart, at number 10 is Kate in Bridgerton Blue, specifically the dress she wore in episode 4 for tea with Edwina and Anthony.

This is the second time that we see Kate in Bridgerton Blue, and both times it is after a significant Kate and Anthony scene. In episode 1 Kate wore a pale blue dress to the Danbury Ball, this was the location of her second meeting with Anthony and where she overhears his criteria for a wife, setting up their dynamic for the first half of the show. In episode 4 we see Kate in Bridgerton Blue again, this time it is the first scene with Kate and Anthony together after the bee sting, where their dynamic shifted.

But whilst the context of her in this dress is important, it is the overall look that I like as it not only shows Kate in the Bridgerton colours at the Bridgerton estate, foreshadowing her as the Viscountess, but it shows the start of the softening of her looks and character.

The dress itself is a pretty light blue with a detailed sheer pale blue overdress with white detailing. This dress combined with the softening of her hair with a tendril left out of the updo, and softer makeup choices, including a lighter lip colour. As with all of Kate's looks, the jewellery compliments the dress beautifully, giving a slightly softer look to Kate than we had previously seen. For me this look also shows Kate as the Viscountess in waiting.

Of course the bonus with this look is how Kate's dress compliments Anthony's waistcoat, clearly indicating that they are a set / team.

I have a theory I want to run by you. I feel like my cottage is a very relaxed run household. The bridgertons would used it as an escape from the protocol of the ton. What do you think?

I still think Aubrey Hall would be that place. Because that’s the Bridgerton’s Country Home. That’s there for that purpose.

I think My Cottage have a relaxed household and it runs impeccably because of the way Sophie treats her staff as family.

My theory is that seeing Sophie’s house working so well and the staff never leaving that the rest of the Bridgerton’s start to adapt and steal Sophie’s methods.

I think everything is a little less formal and they love it but Aubrey Hall is absolutely the escape.

I didn’t mention this before but I’m looking at episodes 3 and 4 and it’s becoming very apparent. Anthony is on his back leg so to speak the entire time at AH. Kate is either challenging or one upping him, or witnessing him be more vulnerable and gentle than anyone has seen him been in recent memory or shocking him at every turn with her presence, her scent, her ridiculous notions of leaving. And then there was Daphne in his ear, speaking to his secret heart and frustrating him all the more for it. He’s reeling from even before she gets there, with her being a main topic of conversation with him and his family.

I think this may play a part into why he’s trying so hard to cling to his Viscount armor at the end throughout episode 5. Because he’s been feeling a bit too exposed and he’s reverting back to what is comfortable. Back to the ‘plan’.

We’ll get deeper into it later this week but I can already tell the breakdown of the events at AH leading up to the proposal is going to be both a roller coaster and a good time.

Wrotham Park (Aubrey Hall)

A single storey brick building used as a stables went up in flames, but there were luckily no casualites.

Fortunately, the star-studded stately home and other properties near the stables remained intact.

Firefighters from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue and the London Fire Brigade managed to get the fire under control but remained on site yesterday evening.

The incident was declared over in the early hours of this morning.

The impressive 17-acre English estate is a familiar favourite for period-drama fans.

Bridgerton addicts will recognise Wrotham Park Estate as Aubrey Hall, the main family's country escape, in the raunchy bodice-ripper.

The beautiful scenery featured in much of the second series, where the Bridgertons hosted a country soiree for London's society at their ancestral home.

Yesterday morning, before the fire broke out, the director and executive producer of Bridgerton posted photos on Instagram which fans believed to be the location of Aubrey Hall.

The collection includes art for:
