Jacaerys was relaxing in a hot bath in his personal chambers. His head was laid back against the back of the tub and his eyes were closed as he enjoyed the feeling of the heat soaking into his skin. He heard the door open to his chambers and he knew who it was.
Aemond.
And he imagined Aemond was upset, it was likely the reason he was there. Jace had been with Bran. They were just talking, and walking in the gardens where people could see them. And of course it had been one of the instances Jace was supposed to be spending time with Aemond but he hadn’t gone. Their mothers had forced them to at least be in each others company for a certain amount of time per day or week or whatever, perhaps it was supposed to make them get along. But Jace didn’t like it. So he didn’t go, and spent time with Bran instead.
“You know,” Jace said not bothering to open his eyes, “when my guards don’t want to admit you to my chambers. It means go away. It doesn’t mean have Cole threaten them until they cave.” He said with a soft bored tone.

First impression:
OHHH I LOVE HER ALREADY SHE'S SO SNARKY AND HER LORE IS SO COMPELLING....... very very excited to see her in game i hope she comes out soon (<- had to wait like what. two/three years????)
Impression now:
gives me brain worms my God. i think i've thought about her too much bc theres so many lil symbols that i associate w her that just aren't intentional in the slightest. she has so so so much lovea nd heart in her and i wishhhh people understood her better. also extremely disappointed in her in-game writing for multiple reasons but like. the ableism and misogyny being a big one. :( colleination could fix her...... i wish she were more mean in the game.
Favorite moment:
her fight w kaeya and the subsequent "confrontation" w amber....... makes me so so sick in the head that was The original collei trio to me. i looove how it plays w all three of their characters even if it isn't shown very well. it's also the basis for a lot of my interpretation of collei since it shows the extent of her beliefs/lack of belief. dear god..... it's so so good.
Idea for a story:
i've talked abt wt spin off au and windblume rewrite a bunch on this blog so let's go with amber and collei liyue trip!! :DD someone comes and tells amber they heard something about her grandfather in qingce while collei's in town and obv collei's like i can't hold you back on this! so they jsut decide to go together bc collei's packed a bag anyways and they're both adept w survival skills surely their different skills will come in handy for liyue. going to qingce leads them to going to yilong port (i'd do qiaoying but i feel like its too close) and amber's like. kinda stumbling w her broken canto-mando and feeling weirdly emotional and she and collei both bond w "coming back" to a generational homeland while feeling like a stranger and its an important moment to both of them bonding as friends and a pivitol point of collei changing her idea of amber as a savior as more of amber as a best friend yk :''). also ga-ming....... i don't know if he'll stay for long bc honestly i do want it to focus on amber and collei but i think it'd be fun for him to at least make an appearance or sm yk!! the narrative there could be so compelling.

Favorite headcanon:
SNAKE MOMENT. i have a moment in my wt spin off au where she tends to a snake in spite of a phobia of them and it's representative of her first step towards healing AND her caring for her younger self even if she's still wrapped in so much hatred of her. also trans (she/her) lesbian.

First impression:
he's so sad :(( i want him please come home.... he has so so much heart and he doesn't even know it because of his own grief and guilt and objectification of himself :(( he's bruce-coded FUCK.
Impression now:
MAKES ME VIOLENT. i love him so so bad i miss him all the time. his story is soooo entangled with grief and acceptance and every little step he takes reflects that. he's such a fun character bc it's kinda a study on what comes after the tragic hero's story yk? except the tragedy is in part because he lives! he feels so so much and has such a big hear tbut denies it any priority bc it's easier not to. :((
Favorite moment:
PERILOUSWS TRAILS CUTSCNEe......... MY GOD. DERA GHODDD. FUCK. it makes me so so sick in the head that entire quest. xiao so readily sacrificing himself for the others because it's his duty to and because its what all his loved ones did. him closing his eyes and accepting it and finding comfort in the fact that he knows what happened to bosacius and that he's following his footsteps. him being saved and being surprised but That being such a key moment to his grieving process. also the poem from the waterborne poetry event :'') (aka the only part of that event that matters). it referencing all of the yakshas :'''''') and talking of him missing them
Idea for a story:
i don't have an actual story w xiao in mind... i would loooove to see another story quest w him and the other adepti though :''') i wanna see him in the past so so bad :C
Favorite relationship:
him and zhongli! :] they're both characters whos stories are about grief but both have different timelines to it and i think that's so so interesting especially when you remember how zhongli showed no emotion during the archon war and how his depart from his duty was his final stage of grief (acceptance) whereas xiao plunged himself into duty and emotional repression as a means to cope with all the grief and guilt and pain that he feels.
Favorite headcanon:
i think the wangshu inn staff gives him li xi sometimes and he's just like "i am literally older than you please stop i have no need for this" but he keeps it anyways. they have a small room saved for him at all times just in case he ever wants it (he never takes it but he appreciates it). <- its small bc he'd die if it was an open space.

Not to mention, and even if I did, give them to you. ’ Ian took a shaky breath, lifting his fists from the table, and crossing his arms tightly against his chest. He didn't want to be having this converstation; not with Bucky; or anyone even remotely attached to Hydra. The only reason he was still alive, was because he'd sat on the sidelines and didn't nothing. He was safe as long as he didn't do anything that Hydra would consider a threat. you know it would be soooo awesome if you explained Cyno lore/your analysis of him (I’m so incredibly lost; my brain is too full of insane scientists for comprehension of him by himself.)
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!! MY LIL GUYYYYYY!!
:3 see the frustrating thing abt cyno is that his character stories barely tell about his lore in the way you’d want it to. his affiliation is stated as with the temple of silence and there’s next to nothing else about them in the entire fucking game. BUT THAT ASIDE!!
from what we know of cyno’s ethnically from the desert but he wasn’t raised there. (his job as the general mahamatra allows him to take visit the desert a lot though. a lot of his work is there.) he made a pact with the god inside of him (hermanubis) and because of this, the akademiya wanted to run experiments on him. he was protected from these experiments by professor cyrus who took him in! he’s cyno’s adoptive father :)
now with the pact he quite literally describes himself as a vessel for hermanubis and he calls upon his powers during his burst! hermanubis initially caused cyno a lot of pain but their relationship somehow got better to the current point of their relationship where they work in tandem as vessel and god.
he and lisa were kinda classmates (they were both spantamad) but lisa is his senior. their relationship is very familial-like :3 (there’s a part in 3.5 windblume where they explain that the darshans can be akin to an academic-based family :’] and she teases him by referring to him with the little brother honorific (弟弟/ didi)
lisa sent a letter to cyrus asking for help in collei’s sake and cyrus sent cyno :3 hence why he came to mond, sealed collei’s archon residue, and eventually led collei back to gandharva ville to live under the tutelage of his best friend, tighnari.
ALSO. he and candace are literally complements to each other :’) (cyno being the sun and candace being the moon, one having the eye of ra and the other having the eye of horus, both sharing a signature polearm, both having connections to either al ahmar or kasala, al ahmar’s faithful priest)
AND NOW PERSONAL HEADCANONS/INTERPRETATIONS BC HE MAKES ME SICK DEAR GOD.
OK SO. this is all in my head btw.
- in my head the experiments cyno was almost subjected to were apart of dottore’s extended attempts to elevate humanity to the gods. (other actual parts of his motive are his experiments on collei and scara).
- cyno recognized collei as someone inflicted with archon residue after reading his letter. i don’t think he realizes both the experiments she was apart of and he could’ve been apart of are linked, but i do think he feels incredibly guilty for not being able to prevent it (even if he quite literally couldn’t have known/done anything)
- in fact! i think part of the reason why he became the general mahamatra is because he believed the experiments he could’ve been subjected to was a show of the akademiya’s corruption. i think he trusted the akademiya very much because cyrus was apart of the akademiya and because he loves cyrus and cyrus loves him so so much :’) i think he wanted to prevent that from ever happening again.
- in my head this is also why he’s so so adamant on keeping to the six cardinal sins.
- i think this is also why he felt so so strongly about figuring out the sage’s corruption and betrayal in the sumeru archon quest. so mcuh so that he quit without mention and went on to do his own investigation and prevention. to me this also explains why he was so distrustful of al haitham to the point of literally attacking him the way he did kfbdjdhdjd.
- also related to the human experimentation but i think it could be compelling commentary for medical exploitation of marginalized communities and cyno being from the desert and that happening to him is sooo.. it’s something. (it’s not perfect of course i’d still rather him yk. not be a fucking cop but.)
- he and collei are very obvious narrative parallels in a way that makes me so so sick especially bc in collei’s vl about him we learn that thinking about the sealing ritual can bring her very painful flashbacks to it. even now she slips up and forgets to refer to him informally. he kinda understands how she feels (though he’ll never get it). he just wants her to be safe. and collei doesn’t know! when she leaves with cyno we know nothing about hermanubis! all we knew is that cyno clearly took inspiration from anubis! AND THAT MAKES ME SO SICK (it’s also a big part of my webtoon spin off au which is a character study following collei and cyno’s way to sumeru and collei’s first few weeks or so in gandharva ville. the entire this is heavily collei-centric of course but the first part is a big character study on cyno and collei and their tumultuous relationship w both each other and themselves.)

The Vampire Diaries AU
It's been three years since Sunnydale was destroyed and the Gilberts are the only living family Buffy and Dawn have left (Miranda and Jenna are their cousins). Dawn goes to Whitmore to be closer to them and Jenna has Buffy move in with her and Jeremy and Elena after Miranda and Grayson die. Elena introduces Buffy to her friends. Buffy worries about being the "uncool mom that tries too hard," so she tries to keep her distance, but she ends up being a friend of theirs, too. Especially Bonnie and Caroline.
Buffy tries to keep her slayer life secret from her family, but when Stefan starts dating Elena and Buffy hears Stefan telling her that he doesn't live on human blood and Damon was the one behind the "animal attacks," Buffy comes clean to Elena about who and what she really is because she knows how traumatizing it is finding out this stuff is real. *Buffy finds Damon annoying and yet somehow, they end up getting close. Yet, they still bicker from time-to-time. Alaric gets thrown into the mix when he starts dating Jenna. After Jenna's death, Buffy is Elena and Jeremy's legal guardian, but Alaric still moves in and helps when he can. After HIS death, Buffy's their sole guardian.
*i ship Buffy with Damon, but again, I don't force ships on anyone, so if Damon is your muse and you don't want to ship THAT'S FINE.
The Originals AU
New Orleans has been without a slayer for way too long. Given its Hellmouth-y reputation, rather than send one of her slayers or Scoobies, Buffy decides to go herself. On her first night, Buffy saves Hayley Marshall from being taken by Marcel's lackeys and then both are saved by Rebekah. Buffy befriends the two girls after hearing the situation they and the rest of the Mikaelsons are in. However, this drags her into the family's drama by proxy. The benefit of the situation, though, is that when Klaus takes back the Mikaelson Compound, Buffy moves in with them at Hayley's insistence. Klaus agrees to it, thinking that an alliance with her would be beneficial (actually, he wants her allegiance because he's Klaus, but Buffy being Buffy told him alliance or nothing and he wants her on his team, so he agrees). When Hope is born, Buffy becomes like a second mother to her.
*i ship Buffy with Klaus, but again, I don't force ships on anyone, so if Klaus is your muse and you don't want to ship THAT'S FINE. Also, I only ship Buffy and Klaus in THIS verse. In the TVD verse, she hates him.

i don’t know if this is the right place to bring it up and i don’t mean harm or shade to anybody, but i wish people cared about au/oc places like they do with generals. it was really sad to see nice places close because nobody is really interested in them as much as they are in generals. personally, i struggle in gen verses, because i hate making my account look like an update account and i feel like the strictness about following schedules and what not really kills great opportunities. people should be less scared about embracing something new and different, and creativity should roam more freely around here. 😖
