Ceci est un indice infaillible ; vous ne risquez jamais de vous tromper en vous intéressant à la femme que vous voyez courir dans la rue par une averse. Nicknames- Nessie by the others in the pantheon

Age- 20 (immortal)

Location- Tsunami district, New Olympus

Personality- She's independent and instinctive yet discreet. She prides herself on her incredible intuition, her cosmic "sixth sense." Even though she can be mysterious & elusive around most people in social situations, she makes good friends because she cares about those who are close to her. She's a lesbian & is currently single.

She has the standard abilities of a goddess. As the goddess of jellyfish, her powers/abilities include hydrokinesis (not to the extent of Poseidon), electricity generation and manipulation, constriction and paralysis inducement, anatomical liberation (can split her body apart, controlling the pieces), stinger protrusion (can generate poisonous stingers from her wrists and fingers), & being able to summon/communicate with/shapeshift into all species of jellyfish.

Nerissa lives in a mansion built out of pearl & sea stone in Atlantis. She has her own garden filled with bioluminescent sea plants and coral. Inside, she has a colossal aquarium filled with various luminescent jellyfishes- her pets. She also has a penthouse apartment in the Tsunami neighborhood of New Olympus as well as a beach house in Naxos.

She has a role in the Sea Council, the governing body of the Underwater realm that is ruled under Poseidon (god of the sea & earthquakes). Nerissa works alongside Delphin (god of dolphins) and Palaemon (god of sharks). The four of them have a great working relationship despite their differing political opinions as well as a great personal friendship. Nerissa is definitely a bit more closer to Delphin as they both share their feelings on their love lives. They also like going out on the weekends to the Tidal nightclub.

She's one of the few water based deities that surfaces up to Olympius for the monthly council meetings. Nerissa always brings up issues related to aquatic environmentalism like water pollution, littering, oil spills, & excessive fishing.

Her go-to drink is a sapphire martini. She also likes a jellyfish (an alcoholic drink made by layering vodka, blue curacao, sambuca, & cream), electric iced teas (a drink made with blue curacao, lemonade, and lemon-lime soda), and an iced sea salt coffee (with no sugar & two creams).

Nerissa really admires Tethys (Titaness of freshwater & clouds), calling her "an absolute vision." Her heart nearly fell out of her chest when the she approached Nerissa during her induction ceremony. She also admires Aegaeon (god of sea storms), Eurybia (goddess of the sea's mastery), Thaumas (god of the sea wonders), Sirene (goddess of the deep sea), Oceanus (Titan god of the sea), & The Nesoi (sister island goddesses).

In the pantheon she's also friends with The Muses, Philyra (goddess of perfume, paper, & beauty), The Hyades, Ganymede (god of homosexual love & desire), Brizo (goddess of sailors, mariners, fishermen, & dreams), Ditus (god of bisexuality, effeminancy, & fertility), Britomartis (goddess of mountains, hunting, & fishing nets), Lyssa (goddess of rage & frenzy), and Tyche (goddess of luck). Nerissa doesn't really like Zeus (god of the sky, thunder, & lightning). She also doesn't like Poseidon's girlfriend Iphimedia, calling her a "stage five clinger."

For extra income, Nerissa models for/endorses Euryphaessa, Swimsilk, & atelier fantaisie.

A favorite treat of hers is a dessert sandwich made with two french toast slices, marshmallow creme, a dark chocolate spread, & jellyfish jelly. She also likes coconut ice cream sandwiches and blueberry vanilla frozen yogurt (topped with seaweed, candy coral, & sour gummy worms).

Some of Nerissa's favorite dishes include ahi poke bowls (with extra eel sauce & sriracha), salmon burgers with olympian sized seaweed fries, sesame jellyfish salad, and twice-fried calamari rings.

She loves using the Glory's Crown ultra hydrating sea kelp shampoo and coconut oil conditioner for her long striking cobalt blue hair.

As far as romantic relationships, she likes to keep things casual. She doesn't mind the idea of being in a relationship, but isn't actively seeking one out either. Nerissa has had a few flings with some mermaids & mortal girls as well as crushes on Aphrodite (goddess of love & beauty), Thalia (one of The Graces), Carpo (goddess of autumn & fruits), and Nemesis (goddess of retribution).

One of the greatest gifts she ever recieved was from Poseidon during her induction ceremony- a jellyfish themed ring made of gold which also contains a black opal, sapphires, tsavorites, hauyne, & crystal. Nerissa wears it on her middle finger.

Nerissa can play the electric guitar. She's also currently taking courses on being a DJ. Her favorite genres of music to listen to are electronic, trip hop, heavy metal, & glam rock. Her favorite band to listen to is Blood In The Water- a popular band in the Underwater realm made up of sirens and merguys.

In her free time she enjoys bodyboarding, surfing, jet skiing, cliff diving, playing video games, laser tag, & fishing.

She always looks forward to the Underwater Kingdom's Blue Moon Festival!

Bonzi Wells est l’un des multiples noms d’emprunt réunis au sein de LPM, un projet polymorphe dédié aux expérimentations graphiques et musicales. « de l'ignorantsia » présente une série de travaux visuels réalisés lors de résidences informelles au Myanmar et aux Açores, en pleine crise sanitaire, puis en itinérance aux quatre coins de la France.

Parfois naïf et bancal, parfois tranchant et méticuleux, le travail de Wells innerve nos cartographies mentales de nouveaux îlots de possibles. Ses explorations plastiques, réalisées en techniques mixtes, cherchent à stimuler notre habileté à briser les chaînes d’un conditionnement politique intrusif et aliénant.

𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧, 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙪𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙢𝙖 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙚, 𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙙’𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖̀ 𝙡𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚́ 𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙚𝙪𝙭 𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙤-𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝙚́𝙥𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙚.

Des collages de papiers découpés constituent le cœur de l’exposition. S’y croisent et parfois s’entrechoquent les banalités aveuglantes de nos vies, le bourgeonnement créatif de l’enfance, des propositions farfelues d’alternatives sociétales, l’ivresse vivifiante de l’humour et une propension maladive à célébrer l’insignifiance dans la joie. Ce  terrain de jeu utopiste nous invite à laisser éclater nos colères, nos fantasmes et nos bulles de folie au visage d’un système réactionnaire et absurde.

Une suite de photographies couleur, qu’on pourrait hâtivement considérer comme abstraites, documente l’érosion et la décrépitude de bâtiments. Elle questionne la prétention de l’être humain à vouloir évoluer dans un monde séparé du vivant et notre aveuglement face la destruction massive de nos habitats et de notre environnement.

Une dernière série de pièces, réalisées grâce à un scanner et une imprimante standards, semble interroger la fuite en avant des politiques technocratiques imposées jusqu’à l’indigestion. Ces propositions graphiques critiquent surtout l’affaissement intellectuel de l’artiste et pointent ses contradictions. Les dispositifs artistiques mis en œuvre pour développer sa pensée écologiste et décroissante ont en effet un bilan environnemental peu vertueux. _ À propos de la discussion :

Là, ce qui nous intéresse c’est non pas l’outil de com, mais le support imprimé, sous quelque forme que ce soit, en temps qu’objet d’art. Là, on parle d’affiches, de livres d’artiste, de fanzines, de gravures, de sérigraphies, de lithographies, de tirages limités sous toutes ses formes et par tous les moyens techniques connus. PRINT ! LE SÉCHOIR se transforme en lieu de tirage et d’impression. A nouveau, il y a du tirage dans l’air au Séchoir. Cela sentira l’encre fraîche. On met à l’honneur tous les médiums de l’imprimé, du livre et des multiples en faisant la part belle à tous les modes d’impression et d’édition. Visite libre tous les week-ends de 14h à 18h. Yuka, the designer behind Los Angeles based women’s collection Delphine, and I are excited to share our new collaboration.  Yuka designed some special garments with woven sakiori appliqué panels. Sakiori is woven fabric, that utilizes scrap fabrics or clothing, usually cut into strips first and used as weft.   For Yuka’s sakiori, we used new silk fabric cut into long strips.  Yuka employed us to weave over 70 yards of sakiori for the production of her garments.

So many skilled hands went into the making of these, all made in Los Angeles. The weaving of our sakiori took many women in the All Roads studio, and took almost 4 months of full time weaving. It is pretty incredible, and we are both very proud of the end result.  It was very challenging at times, due to the scale of the project, which makes it even more special.  Because the fabric is hand woven, Yuka and her sewing team had to do additional processing and laborious preparation to get the woven fabric ready to sew into the finished garment.

This slow fashion, kimono jacket is now available to purchase through Anthropologie.
