Omg hiii I love your spiderverse fic so much its just the right flavour of depressed guilty hurt/slowburncomfort Miguel. One of the best takes on his character ❤️. While I'm staring at the wallpaper waiting for the next chapter I was wondering if you had any fic recs so far?

Gwen/Miles Fic Spotlight Day 2: Blondie

“You in a band?”

“I was,” the metal under her palm crunches to punctuate her words.

They raise an eyebrow. “N how bout now?”

“Now I feel like shit,” she says, “and you tried to break into my room.”

~ Gwen has a room at Spider HQ. Miles wanders empty halls. There are sequences of time that never overlap.

My Thoughts: I wanted to mix up the posting schedule with a mix of angst and fluff, and this one is definitely angst. Don't expect a happy ending here, but it is mostly canon compliant so don't be too scared off. This fic made me feel things. It's a fantastic exploration of both what Gwen and Miles are feeling throughout the events of AtSV, and does a fantastic job especially with characterizing Gwen's struggles between the events of ItSV and AtSV. Probably the most emotions I've felt reading a fic, incredibly heartfelt. Works well even for non shippers, this one's really just a character exploration.
