Some Tweets Remember Keiji Fujiwara
Keiji Fujiwara died of cancer at the age of 55. The news was devastating for the seiyuu community. Many seiyuu are remembering and looking back on their times with Fujiwara and the impact he made on them. A lot of anime I’ve watched wouldn’t have been the same without Fujiwara. The performance at Tokyo Dome is referencing NANA MIZUKI LIVE CASTLE 2011, a series of live concerts performed at Tokyo Dome by Mizuki Nana on 2011/12/3 and 2011/12/4. Fujiwara provided narration for a short film called PLANETARIUM "Princess Nana of the Heavens" (PLANETARIUM「天界の奈々姫」) which was shown during the concert on both days.
The performance at the planetarium is referencing when Fujiwara and Mizuki co-starred in a Hoshi Koe performance held on 2016/4/24 at the Matsuyama City General Community Center Cosmo Theater. Matsuyama is the capital of the Ehime Prefecture, and Mizuki Nana was born in Niihama, Ehime. I hate the idea of something getting overshadowed without anyone knowing about it, so I will write about it here.
Since we first met when I was 19, I've been in your debt for a long time. Since before we started having work together, you'd hear out my concerns and give me advice, and go along with my selfish requests to take me along for drinks. Even though you'd always say, "Waddaya want now, Tattsun," you'd always keep your promises. Whenever we met at the studio you'd always be giving off a pleasant, lazy mood. When you were the sound director you'd say things like "Tattsun, you're the only person I can ask for this," things that I couldn't tell if you were being serious or not.
It's only now that I can say this, but I took you seriously every time, and every time I was seriously happy you asked me. The fact that you said those things to me.
Sometimes I'd tell you about how people say that our voices or our acting are similar, and even though you'd reply by saying stuff like, "What? That's gross," behind your sunglasses I could see that the look in your eyes always softened happily. I like chatting in the smoking area, so anytime I'd spot you I'd head straight there.
When you'd say, "Yo!" to me, it was a little embarrassing, but I was always happy you did.
I won't talk about acting.
That's something I'll keep locked away in my heart.
I know you had it tough.
However, I stopped talking about it.
Since you hate that.
All I can remember, is you always saying, "Yo! Tattsun," every time you saw me.

Prompt #2: Sway
1565
Fujiwara Manor, Doma Castle complex, Othard
“Don’t *want* a transfer.”
“You should have thought of that before you let that rebel steal your paperwork.” Caria jen Corbulo’s father didn’t even look up from his paperwork, the sound of pen scratches briefly the only sound audible in the room. “Some time with the VII Legion will teach you to comport yourself with a bit more professionalism. Nael van Darnus doesn’t suffer foolish behavior as lightly as you seem to think I do.”
“Was an accident,” Caria countered sullenly, her rapid-fire speech growing more clipped as her irritation grew. “Know you understand concept.”
There was an extra-loud scratch, and the nib of her father’s pen tore through the paper and snapped on the desk. “It’s *done*. Your transport departs in the morning. I suggest you start packing.”
“But-”
His lips peeled back from his teeth, and he shoved the folder with her transfer papers across the desk. “Keep talking and you’ll be making the trip by sea instead of air, Caria. Dismissed.”
Caria stiffened to some semblance of attention, spun on her heel and marched out of the room and back down the hall of their family manor. The house had belonged to someone relatively high in Emperor Kaien’s administration of Othard before they occupied it, and most of the servants were locals. They could tell she was in a mood, and mostly shied away from her. Mostly.
As she slid into the chair behind her, she heard the quiet sound of footsteps. That, more than anything, notified her of who was behind her. Her Doman Liberation Front contact didn’t make noise unless it was deliberate.
Her own pen scratchings started as she put pen to paper. Hopefully some of the information on her transfer orders would come in handy somewhere.
“Got caught this time. They think it was an accident, wasn’t paying enough attention to my own stuff. Being transferred out to the VII Legion.” She exhaled through her nose. “You‘ll have to find a new contact. Can’t pass information if I’m gone.”
“Don’t worry about it, Caria,” her contact murmured, reaching to briefly rest a hand on her shoulder. Caria flinched instinctively, then relaxed into the offered comfort, small though it was. Asami Fujiwara, one of the former high-ranking occupants of the house, now an ostensibly ‘loyal’ servant of the Garlean Empire thanks to her father’s opportunism, had problems of her own. “We’ll manage.”
“Hope so.” She passed the paper up to Asami.
There was a moment’s silence.
“Transmitter adjustments for ‘Project Meteor’. What’s Project Meteor?”
“Suppose I’ll find out.”
