The saturation is richness and intensity of a colour's appearance. Lightening the colour makes it less intense. Tip- Add the complementing color i.e. Orange to blue to distinguish hues. Darker hues, make it more saturated. The strength of the orange makes it more vivid. An intense saturation of orange Over the blue grey values.
