I’ve decided to start a Ko-fi account. I want to give you a little idea of my situation.

I am currently working on recovery from PTSD, and living in a rather unhealthy situation with my family-of-origin. I am not regularly employed: I do some freelance copy-editing, and earn a little bit from my books and my Etsy, but I make very little money. I hope that when I’ve progressed more in my mental health recovery that I’ll be able to get a full-time job and make enough to move out--but of course, the future economy’s pretty uncertain. Meanwhile, it made sense to make a Ko-fi! 

Thank you to everyone who has left encouraging messages in my inbox and in post replies. I really appreciate them. Curating this blog can be difficult and tricky--finding the correct attributions for clothing, figuring out who designed them, trying to post accurate information about the peoples who wear them. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I’m always trying. I’m glad to hear that people have enjoyed seeing my collection of images of beautiful clothing from around the world!

i am relieved to hear this, as i sometimes have trouble telling the difference (in british films) between irish and american accents, and certainly between irish and scottish accents. and fuck if i can identify welsh accents...

how are you holding up?

For real? Could be better and could be worse. I’ve been trying to keep tabs on mental health during more balls-to-the-walls stressful times for once and doing what I can to alleviate it. Work isn’t really stressful any longer, being up and about that long isn’t either. It’s just the lack of days off, I think.

Really hoping I can get my bday weekend off and see my sister, but it’s starting to look like that may not happen. So that sucks.
