For your disaster au, what would the friend groups look like?

So,

Green is the sporty guys, it's pretty similar to the show, Alix and Kim get along pretty well, they've met before in a competition (they also met Chloe there but they don't get along that much). Max is the brains of the group and usually the one to calm everyone down. Ondine was introduced to them via Kim, whom she's known for a long time (she actually knows Nino and Marinette too). Nathaniel is mostly there because Alix dragged him outside to do something lol

Purple are the extremely rich guys and Sabrina. Chloe and Adrien have known each other for quite a while and they met Kagami at a competition and have been friends since. Sabrina is there because of Chloe, she's her tutor but also her friend and she got to meet Kagami and Adrien a few times.

Cyan are the pals who are in Mlle Mendeleiv's class, Aurore sits alone and later with Kagami and Ondine sits with Marc who she befriends quickly. Aurore befriends Ondine more via Marc.

Dark blue, Marinette, Nino, and Kim, have known each other since they were little.

Pink are the first akuma victims + Stephan and Luka. But Lion's civilian friends is a more fitting name. This group came to be at the beginning of the school year/first few months of The Butterfly's appearance. Luka is there because they hang out at the Liberty quite a lot and he's a really chill guy and a lot of people like him. Stephan is there because he was quite a loner at the start and they just kinda,, adopted him. He's also friends with Lion Blanc so they also bond over that. Lion is friends with everyone in this group because he checked on them after their akumatizations and just became friends with them. Marinette and Chris also hang out with them a lot. Sometimes Alya too, but the opinions are mixed around her. Kagami later joins this group via Marc, Aurore, and Marinette.

Yellow are the ones who hang out in class a lot. They just kinda stick together naturally, they're just very good friends. Alya was kinda on the rocks with Stephan at first but then they came around each other and became good friends (especially after Lila arrived).

Orange ones are Lila and her friends. Chris and Marinette leave after a while (Marinette a little later after him).

There are individual relationships that aren't mentioned here, because they don't really have anything to do with a friend group. Like, Aurore and Chloe have known each other for a long time but don't really get along.

There's also the hero friend group, they're kind of,, colleagues at first but become friends quickly. But they don't really get along with Prima Queen at first, for a lot of reasons, like her dislike of them or just her arrogance and just plain suspicion about her origin.

ok so! it was definitively NOT matty who asked her. idk who it was - maybe she knows jordan or someone, idk, and it was them that asked her. the boat trip is maybe like day 3 of her hanging around; she came for a drink on night 1 after she ran into you all (which you were fine with, mostly, despite being like "oh jesus fucking christ look at her. stunning. shit" like you're an adult. and also you thought that... that would be the extent of it), night 2 is dinner and drinks, because everyone had so much fun on night 1 🙄 (at this point you were a bit like "does she... not have any pals with her? what's the script here. why is she with us all the time". for context, she's here with work), and at said dinner jordan or whoever was like "we're going on a boat trip tomorrow you should come". and she was like "omg that sounds fun! matty remember when we went on that boat trip a few years back, just the two of us, that was so much fun 🤭", and matty's like "oh right yeah so we did haha that actually was quite good"; she's then like "although i don't think we got much sightseeing done, if memory serves..." and he laughs, and you're like wtf she is BRAZEN. but also you can't be rude and bitchy and be like "well actually i'd rather she wasn't there", so you shut up and drink. you're so wired in total anger that ross actually has to peel your fingers off your wine glass before you shatter it (either from holding too tight or over her fucking head, honestly) - he's funny though, because he accidentally on purpose kicks matty's shin to distract him from this other girl like "oh soz mate" lol. but yeah, the next morning you make up some excuse about having agreed to go with the girls on the boat, because other girl has made it clear she'll be on the same boat as matty and frankly you're worried you'll be compelled to shove her overboard if you're with her; while matty's like "oh... i think they're going on the first boat, i was going to go on the second. i thought we might be together, have a cute little moment" and you think he'll try to convince you to stick with him, he continues like " i suppose it doesn't matter who we all go with. we'll all end up in the same spot anyway" and your day is immediately ruined lol. and we know how it all progresses <3

I had to restart this one 7 or 8 times, and even now, I dunno if it's really good but I thought it was cute! I hope you like it :3

The black marking that was on Killer's arm was something that he would often mess with. He would trace his fingers across it whenever he got bored, sad, or really... anything? Mostly whenever he got lost in thought and he would need something to do with his hands.

The marking went around one of his arms, and he knew that it wasn't a skeleton so hey, that meant it wasn't one of the Bad Sanses, or one of the different versions of him which was... a good thing, at least?

He did wonder who that character was?

What kinda person would be his soulmate? He honestly didn't expect himself to have one! It's crazy that he did. The idea of it was awesome, though! Someone loved him! How funny is that? Could he even love them back?

Would it work out?

Well yeah, of course it would, they're soulmates. They always have to work out.

Today was a new day, and Killer came to this new AU alone cause he was bored and had nothing better to do. Of course he asked Nightmare to make sure that it was okay before he left, and now he was here! What was the AU?

Uhhh...

He didn't know.

All he knew was that he was in a forest, nice place. A lot of fruits and veggies. Was it like a Foresttale or something? Some of these AUs are starting to be pretty stupid lol.

You know?

It could just be that he came out of the portal in a forest... bah, this stuff is confusing... at least there was a nice view! He loved walking through forests, they're always so pretty and weirdly calming, right?

Killer held his arms out by his sides as he walked, letting out soft sounds as he walked along a fallen tree. It was over a little river. The water was rushing pretty fast and there were rocks. He wondered how deep the water was? How hard it would be to swim in that.

He wasn't a good swimmer at all, now that he thought about it.

Eh, whatever, it doesn't really matter!

It seemed as though the world wanted to prove him wrong because in an instant he felt his foot slip on the wood of the fallen tree. His empty black sockets widened, his soul skipping as he felt himself start to fall into the water. It felt like he was moving in slow motion.

Well shit.

That sucks. He's going to get wet and might hurt himself falling into the water. Ugh, that's gonna be FUN trying to explain.

He shuts his sockets tight, just preparing to feel the water...

But he didn't.

“Hey, you alright there pal?” he heard.

He opens his sockets, and looks over his shoulder at whoever spoke to him. It was a human looking at him with an amused look on their face. They were holding onto his arm and their hand was... colorful. He stares at the hand, then up at their face, and laughs “Yeah, I guess I just fell in two ways” Hell yeah, puns! Been forever since he could do that.

They make a snort sound and pull him up off of the log and onto solid ground.

He looks at their hand, then looks down at his arm, and he tugs his sleeve up to look at the mark. It was full of so many colors... he lifts his head to look at them “Well damn,” He starts, “I didn't think I'd meet my soulmate like this... what's your name?”

How was he supposed to explain this? You know... maybe he won't. He'll just come back to this AU every so often and see them and once he's sure that he likes them, then he'll explain! It'll be... it'll be better this time.

Their name was Y/n... by the way.

Just kinda felt like doing this so: here's a list of more minor XS characters and what they're up to in the AU. this ended up mostly being villains. most if not all of these guys won't be showing up in the AU but I've had a rough idea of what some of their deals are and figured it'd help to write them down somewhere.

For the purposes of this list (and the AU in general) I'm differentiating being Heylin from being evil/a criminal. The Heylin side is a little more organized in that they're involved with black magic and exist specifically to oppose the Xiaolin monks. so you can be "evil" without being Heylin. Jack was never involved with the Heylin side before meeting Wuya. Sal worked as a recruiter for the Heylin as a favor to Chase for a while but doesn't consider himself Heylin.

Katnappe:

Got into evil/crime around the same time as Jack; unlike Jack she stuck with it but she never got involved with the Heylin

mostly does petty crime/theft, lives an extravagant lifestyle funded by a combination of her parents' money and stolen goods

still has her genetically altered cats, mostly uses them as muscle/backup when needed

Jack knows her through their parents (both come from high class families); Sal knows of her through his criminal connections but idk if they've ever met

Le Mime:

literally the same as in canon. probably just fucking around in paris messing with random tourists

possibly actively heylin???? it would be funny if the fucking mime is technically more competent at being evil than Jack was

Vlad:

I don't actually know what he's up to, if he stayed evil or decided to run a legitimate business, but he did at least go Heylin for a while when he was a teenager

he was actually recruited to the Heylin side by Sal

he befriended Jack while Jack was still trying to be evil and they've been internet pals ever since. they still chat regularly.

Tubbimura:

Another Sal recruit

Mostly retired from evil, less because he turned good and more because he didn't like being evil so much as he liked having an excuse to mess with people

possibly became a mercenary???? i mean he was basically one in canon so

Pandabubba:

idk uhhhh probably the same as in canon. Organized crime boss who operates out of Hong Kong.

I don't think Jack stayed evil long enough to deal with him lol

Dunno if I'll fully touch on this but he did in fact get accidentally unleashed by Omi a few years before the AU takes place. The Moonstone Locust revealed itself and Omi (probably with Fung and Guan's help) was able to subdue him.

Chucky Choo:

I'm gonna say the events of his episode more or less happened the same here only without all the Wu stuff and no Showdown.

New story talk time :D featuring art wrow. mostly tlking bout the charactwrs for now but badically They're all a bunch of high schoolers who are friends and get lost in the woods one night. Basically rhe woods actually houses this massive parasitic monster that's trying to eat them, it can send out different fragments- there are these wolf things that are it's anger, all the birds in the forest are its ears, etc. It's fun cus in the end they realize that even the things they thought were safe are monstrous- its like if in dnd u were relieved to defeat a mimic grate in a sewer system only to find out the whole sewer system is one big mimic yknow. but ya still, this post is just silly character things

also the characters are all based off discord bots because the discord server fixation grind don’t stop 💪

Is one of the only people Fred will talk to out of nowhere cus he knows it's not that yag doesn't want to talk yag just Won't unless talked to first

In general though spends a lot of the front time just sitting silently next to Fred lol

As a fun fact! My first name I picked for myself was based on his! Tho a more "feminine" version bc I was still convinced I wasn't trans- I wanted HIS name but I was like "but I'm a girl..." so... I called it an online name but let's be honest that was baby's first transgender egg moment lol

Kind of ironic the name I use the most NOW is one letter away from his, I think it's kinda a full circle moment :) It makes me happy haha esp now that I have the capabilities and knowledge so that I can portray Ven how I want him to be and how he was always meant to be, similar to my own gender presentation.

There's a few outliers like Ciro, my RP group characters, the MLP ocs I post, and Opal/Saffron BUT FOR THE MOST PART I usually ship with him! We have a lot of fun with it :]

10. Villain OCs?

Oh boy we got PLENTY 'a those. But it really depends on what you'd call a "villain" bc I tend to redeem most of my antagonists and "villains" bc I'm a sucker for Tropes. GKHNGKHNGH BUT AS FOR LIKE. PURE IRREDEEMABLE VILLAIN I DO HAVE SOME. Actor is there but I talked abt Actor already

Jam and Kazi! I have so many cat ocs. I know. You get used to it.

Jam is a back-alley doctor who presents herself has a helpful sort and willing to do shit usually for free/cheap as long as you agree to her terms. Tho like, 90% of the time she's testing smth experimental she created and most likely ur gonna walk away worse than when u came in. She doesn't rly have any remorse for this cuz she's obsessed with the studies of medicine- she wants to create the perfect medicine and is willing to do anything to reach that goal !

Plus she's kind of an ass and does things on a whim and literally broke up with her bf who treated her SO WELL bc she was bored of him. she was only with him for an extended period bc he was interesting and she was essentially studying him but once that was exhausted she just dipped. He deserves better </3

Aaaand then there's Kazi.

Kazi is. Well he sure is. GKHNGKHKGNHG

I won't go in depth into what he does but he's a serial killer who masks as a famous artist who travels around. I'm not gonna get into it but if you've played "The Evil Within" his M/O is eerily similar to Stefano LOL So you can Imagine how fucked up this guy is.

Very Morbid but a very good artist. In both respects. Tho one takes a "certain kind" to appreciate and sure isn't the majority. Do not condone murder here but making villains is fun GKNHGKHGH my whole thing with him is like, the person next to u could b a killer and you'd never know bc he presents himself in such a way that's very misleading! He's actually quite soft-spoken, kind, and generous but. Well.

I'm not gonna get into him cuz his mentality is very warped and could b triggering but yea. He's one of my favorites I'm sorry I'm s

*Cracks knuckles* OKAY PALS so sorry this took forever, and thank you to Sahar for some JUICY questions hehe, let's jump in!

🕷- What is their biggest fear? Do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

OH GOD MY BABY IS SCARED OF SO MUCH but I'd say becoming a monster is pretty high up there, so is losing those they care about. Not just in a death sense, but in them leaving them/not wanting to be around them anymore. They're also extremely jumpy (as a deer and because of. Other things) so any slight noise can make them cry out. And they're also quite scared of falling even though they literally have wings and can fly, so I think I'd put that under irrational or mundane! They're just an anxious flier lol

🎭- Do they act differently around certain people? What's different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc?

Oh goodness do they, haha. So outside of them being autistic and that means they inherently act differently around different people, they're extremely wary of others and usually unsure of who they can trust. It takes a long time for them to let their guard down, and they can seem cold (hehe) to others at first. They're usually quite aloof and quiet to strangers but around friends they'll stim a lot, be really silly and goofy and can actually get quite excitable!

🌪- What is the biggest change you've ever made to them? How have they changed from their original version?

LMAO THIS IS SUCH A FUNNY QUESTION mostly because literally all of my OCs started as MLP fan characters (really outing myself with this one) so Juniper originally was a Rainbow Dash recolor called Speedpaint and actually kept that name until super recently! They were human for a long while until I really wanted to make a magical deer character and then they merged! And Juniper came from when I made a doll of them for a collab and needed to give them a more serious name xD

💚- What things make your OC feel comforted? Hugs, kisses, food?

OH THIS ONE IS CUTE okay so a lot of things! Anything soft like blankets and plushies will always go under here. They love hugs and kisses (with permission ofc) and they have a huge sweet tooth! Anything cold/icy reminds them of home so that always comforts them, they love just burying themself in a giant pile of snow!

🤥- Are they good liars? Do they have tells to show they're lying?

So despite what it may seem they are actually quite a good liar! Especially when they really need to be. Buuuut if it's a situation where they don't really want to lie but feel they have to or are around someone they don't want to lie to, then their ears will twitch slightly!

can you explain what's going on right now? i keep seeing big IT blogs talking about some discourse or something but i have no idea what they're talking about other than it involves you lol

alright i like. i truly do not like having diScOurSE out in public because i’m not one to air out my dirty laundry 24/7 but seeing as how it was brought into public against my will i feel like the least i can do is clear up the situation for those who’ve been seeing the posts.

i’m putting this under the cut bc it’s long. tws for some biphobia, brief mention of transphobia and, at the end, a rape mention.

so if you don’t know: hi, i’m migz, i’m an it fandom blogger. its okay, i know, its really cool. part of my shtick here is that i like to turn normal thirst tags into works of art for the sake of comedy. perhaps you’ve seen some of my highlights from my “fhg” tag - perhaps your brain has been spared. either way, it became kind of “my thing” around the third or fourth week (mid nov) of me having this blog. at first, i tagged just about every ask i got mentioning the thirst tags with “bill hader” - they had to do with him, so why not tag him? it would draw more like minded people! about two days into that i got a message asking me to tag my nsfw. i am a big dumb idiot, and apologize for not initially doing it. i havent had a following bigger than like 10 in several years and completely spaced on basic etiquette. so by the end of november i was tagging everything applicable with “notsfw” and “bill hader”.

now you’re caught up.

on december 1st i got this message from user billhaderanti:

now i want to start by saying i absolutely was in the wrong here. i didn’t even think about how many people were being subjected to the asks i was getting - especially ones who had no idea they were all jokes. i don’t track the bill hader tag, so it just didn’t even occur to me - that’s ignorance on my part, and to anyone who was subjected to the terrors of me before my tagging system: i am genuinely sorry. i relay the same sentiment in my response, though you can tell i’m on edge.

and they replied:

clearly they Were offended by it but thats.. not the point. at this point, im feeling Really weird about the whole interaction, but still understanding, because again - i GET it. i know my posts are gross - that’s the point. it doesn’t make it excusable, though, which is why i understand why people are offended. so i responded with the only solution i Knew would keep us both safe and happy posting on our own blogs.

so i thought this would be the end of things! i’d been pretty anxious lately already since i’d started to receive anons telling me i was gross and whore-ish for thirst posting in this way (i delete all of those, so if ur thinking about sending one, i guess no one’s stopping you but it won’t be seeing the light of the dashboard). i’m unsure if it was immediately or a few hours later, seeing as how i have a bad concept of time and the post-dates are right on the edge between nov 30 and dec 1, but i went to their blog - because anyone who has been on the internet knows the opportunity to vague post is near irresistible. and...what do ya know

fair! it’s their blog. however i am an emotionally fragile egg girl and immediately got freaked out. the odds that they were the only one who thought this were low. and, again, i’ve been very open on my blog about how important it is to respect boundaries; my posts are absolutely prone to breaking those boundaries people have created for themselves.

so i made my own, semi-vague post, letting my following know (and i’m pretty sure i’d answered asks about it before, but this is going to be long enough w/o me searching those up too) that i understood if they wanted to block me or unfollow or whatever - people need to create their own safe spaces. the tension is pretty clear in the tags, i’m not trying to hide that. i felt that the way this woman slid into my dm’s was pretty abrasive (just my opinion/how it made me personally feel) and i let myself be a lil emotional about it in the tags of my post.

alright! maybe this is the end. maybe we both go our separate ways and post happily on our own blogs... except it’s not the end. later in the day (some of this was happening like 1/2am, so now its Day day, i believe - again, not good w time passage lol)

clearly, i’m upset. my groupchat double checked that i didn’t get too emotional in my response - did i mention im anxious about discourse lol - and apparently.. it did the trick. she didn’t message me again. great. it was over.

at this point, i decided i needed to make an even bigger change. so a few days after i’d calmed down i created an entirely new tag for my thirst posts so if people hadn’t already hidden the notsfw posts or just blocked me outright, they’d have a third option to escape the madness. at this point, id had my blog about 6? weeks, but there were still 2k posts for me to sift through - some of them were completely untagged. i also had to do it post by post, because one of xkits features - the mass re-tagger - was getting blogs deleted for some reason, and i wasn’t going to do that. so i spent a few days going through all 2k+ posts, adding the “fhg” tag.

YEEHAW! a brand new tagging system, no more hopping into the bill hader tag (minus one or two really funny, not super explicit asks, like the bill hader farquaad meme), and, tbf, i’d completely put this woman out of my mind. i don’t seek out drama and do my best to stay in my lane. yesterday, i checked my activity for the first time in awhile since id put out a couple new original posts that had started to get traction and i Love reading tags. i noticed a mutual had @’d me, and realized i havent checked my @’s in...ever, maybe. i see a post from my good pal billhaderanti.

since i dont follow them and never check my @’s, i’d completely missed it. however, once i did see it, i was horrified. id gone through all that fucking work to keep my blog My Blog and also respect everyone’s boundaries and it still hadn’t been enough. i’d been awake for almost 24 hours and went. a little crazy. and i didn’t reply immediately because i just had no words. i sent it to my friends because i... i just wasn’t going to be able to figure it out myself.

there’s a lot to unpack in this post alone, but whatever, i’m gonna put my own grievances with the immaturity of 1. making a callout post to begin with when i’d been nothing but civil 2. making a callout post about something as (in the grand scheme of Life) minor as some tags where i refer to a someone’s genitals as a “whack pack” and 3. making a callout post in such a rude way - aside. at the end, she calls me (and whoever else!) a demonic mlw (man loving woman, we assumed, and then later confirmed with a post further back on her blog).

which - yeah, we started scrolling. at first we were looking for more vague blogs, and then we just...started finding things. billhaderanti is a self proclaimed lesbian separatist, which... fine. but it’s already pretty clear that this woman hates me on some level simply because i am a bi woman (demonic mlw, remember!) which is just. damn man i can’t believe we are still fighting the biphobic fight lol. so the more we scrolled, the more we uncovered - and not just the biphobic / vaguely mtf transphobic things they posted (or put in tags), but we also found that they had their OWN thirst tags. certainly not as hyperbolically comedic as mine, but they were there, talking about his body and his person the same (and, frankly, a bit creepier for other reasons) as mine.

there’s one post in particular that snatched my wig in it’s creepiness - and i say creepiness in the sense that it feels personal. like this woman feels like she knows bill to some degree where she can say these things. my tags have always had a sense of distance, as they’re written for humor. and maybe this particular post was written for comedic purposes, but it doesn’t read that way, and if it WAS, then she has no right to call ME out for MY comic tags and posts.

i’ll let it speak for itself, mostly because i don’t want to read it again.

i also won’t be going through her blog again to find the posts with biphobic and other Interesting:tm: tags because there are plenty and i just really! want to be done with the whole ordeal! her blog is public and i’m sure you can all find it and look to your heart’s content.

feeling a bit feral and a bit pissed off now that we knew the depth of how rotten this woman’s vibes were, a couple of my pals made a post or two similar to what my tag’s are like except turned up to eleven (if possible) - and tagged them with “bill hader” (and notsfw!!). yes, a bit childish, but at this point, the entire situation was childish, and making jokes was truly the only way we were going to get through it. another vague post went up on her blog soon after.

talking down to us, calling us children, and then for whatever reason calling us virgins... whatever, weird post. around this time most of us (est) went to bed, because it was nearing 3 or 4 in the morning.

and then today happened. i woke up fresh and ready for the day after a wonderful 4 hours of sleep and found that jane had made an incredibly intelligent post in response to the situation. i won’t ss it, but i’ll LINK in case you missed it. attached there in the reblog is my own response. i think they can speak for themselves.

after that, things were kind of jumbled, since i wasn’t online a lot and when i was i was Not checking my activity simply because i was afraid of what i’d see. for the most part, it ended up just being support (which i am very grateful to all of you for - it means a lot that you all enjoy my content to any degree).

there was some more vague posting from both “““““sides”””””” of the “““““argument”””””” - mostly just people restating the fact that this is a public space and we should All be aware of how we effect others. i still hadn’t heard directly from billhaderanti, so i assumed we’d all be dropping and disengaging and moving on. i still wasn’t blocked, though, so who really knew what would happen.

eventually, it culminated in this last post. tw for mentions of rape

i’m going to start by saying that

1. there are nearly no teenagers that were involved in this. im turning 23 in january and most of my friends are 20+. maybe one or two are 19.

2. none of us sent any sexually violent asks - most of us didn’t send asks at all. i believe one or two of my friends admitted to sending asks however they assured me their nature wasn’t bad; as far as i know, everyone remained civil in whatever went on (again, unclear to me as to what was being sent; no one was actively posting or talking about it. if billhaderanti wishes to elaborate, they can, but i don’t have anything to put in).

3. before i finish this, i would like to apologize to billhaderanti. as a comedian - not just my stupid tags, i mean in real life, too - i know that humor can hurt. it’s not always funny, it’s not just stupid hahas. sometimes things that are supposed to be jokes just hit people differently and cause bad things. i recognize that. i never meant to trigger you (if you’re reading this) or cause you any severe mental/emotional harm. i apologize for my humor bringing up your trauma, and i never meant for that. regardless of my own thoughts and opinions about the nature of my posts/the thirst tags themselves, they hurt you, and i’m sorry.

anyway, i’m going to wrap this up (i’m bad at endings, what can i say! steven king and i took the same writer’s class!). if you read all this... sorry. i probably won’t be taking any asks about it, because i find the whole “drama” of this to be stupid and rooted in some seriously biphobic issues this fully grown woman has.

tldr; i attempted to contain my blog so this woman could exist and function safely on her blog, but it wasn’t enough for her, so she called me out, and then some of the fandom called Her out for being biphobic and mean and overall just immature about the situation. as of now, she’s yet to block me, though her and her wife have blocked a few of my friends. her wife continues to clown on my friends. this post was made for clarity’s sake. the end, i’m getting a drink.
