Officially joining the horses are still around in FNV club because I just thought of the legion having fucking chariots and warhorses and gladiator races. Like imagine how fuckinf cool a post-War CHARIOT would be?? We already have those car wagons in like fo2 I think but!!! Horse!!!
Horseback shootouts, racing quests, harder survival mode cuz you also have to keep your steed alive. I've got no intention of stopping Caturday; last time I counted with any care, about 70% of my queued posts were of cats or in some way cat-related.
The rest are swords, armour and interesting old weapons, fountain-pens and writing, food, drink and making or consuming same, train travel, classic cars and the many other things that interest me.
There are also crossovers, sometimes fanciful...
...sometimes realistic.

Since abandoning regular ballpoints in favour of gels and fountain pens, I no longer write like an inky-footed spider on a trampoline in an earthquake. I have been assured that this Is A Good Thing.

rewatched the second ep of the pjo show and like,,,, clarisse isn’t angry enough. or more like she’s too passive. her guttural scream at percy breaking the spear her father, whose recognition she’s desperate to gain, gave her made me think she was gonna lose her shit. like yeah there was always a possibility that her spear could be damaged or broken, but actually seeing it happen would’ve understandably left her enraged and likely blinded by grief. i honestly thought she’d just run at percy and use her fists, and have to be physically stopped/held back. but she just grabs percy, hears that there’s people coming, and leaves. i doubt she’d care abt others seeing her beat up the new kid since ares kids have a reputation for being angry/fighting/etc + her whole angry thing isn’t just bravado, she’s actually confrontational and can fight + she’s clearly upset and likely emotional abt the spear. really wish there’d been an actual clear reason for her to hold herself back, not just drop it out of nowhere

#wip#my art#so many little details#apologies for the repeat WIP but my shoulder is fucked atm so progress is slow#This is the armour design for an order called the Shimmer Shields in my homebrew setting#I'll write more about them later but the basics is that in a city as nurturing of magic users as Novo-Mellior is#there was a need for a way to keep those magic users in check since your average city guard wasn't the best suited to handle rogue casters#and so the Shimmer Shields were created and trained in all the intricacies of magic without being actual casters#Also I know it's a long shot but if anyone happens to have any questions about my silly little setting do feel free to send an ask#no better way to worldbuild than by having to answer questions about it#and if applicable i might do a little sketch to go with it c:

Hot take but I never adjusted to Hiccups colour pallet being changed to primarily red
#I may be biased but I liked the green a lot more! it resonated more with the peacekeeper type that he is to me#httyd#I think the green would look goofy in rtte but still!#idk.
