This is Blue Bird!Jinx AU’s official character sheet :D
I may put ornaments into Jinx’ braids in the future, but for now they’re pretty plain.

Enforcer jinx. Does not recognize what a dress code even is. Goes after corrupt piltie scum more than zaun. Did it just so she could be with her sister. refuses to do paperwork and at this point Caitlyn just hires an entire staff to do it for her. Has done more to solve crime and corruption than anyone by virtue of the threat of her getting involved. Somehow has zero bodycount despite having caused more collateral damage than an entire war. "secretly" a zaunite vigilante. Everyone knows its her
dlgskfgjnkj
No but Jinx as an enforcer is literally hilarious. She hates the entire force and is constantly like "i hate enforcers" even as her colleagues remind her she is one.
Look, she's only there because it's a part of her parole. "Community service" or some shit. Every time they give her the outfit, someone finds burnt crisps of it somewhere around the precinct.
She would absolutely refuse to do any paperwork and Caitlyn totally assigns her the office pushover as her partner to make sure that it's done.
(Poor dude is gonna be crying by the end of the first few days)
omfg her having 0 kills without meaning to would probably annoy the hell out of Jinx, but she would absolutely use it to prove that she has gotten better. "Look! I haven't killed anyone in a month. That's gotta mean something."
accidently stepping into the role of a vigilante or savior is hilarious. She doesn't mean to, didn't even mean to do good, but her explosions end up being a good thing and everyone is just like :DDD Look at her go!!! And Piltover has a short attention span so they do a 180 on her and Jinx is like 0o0 at kids who come up to thank her for her service.
she's gonna have a cult following one of these days, i'm not sure how she doesn't have em canonically. Jinx would definitely be the type of person to start a cult by accident.

I love how y’all have this very specific image of F!Jinx, but in my head I’m already seeing her in her late 20s being the chill auntie to about 15+ kids at the Firelight base.

Crystal Friends AU
Powder makes robot bodies for the Namestones a variation of scorpions, crabs, and spiders (lol Vi discovers that she has an intense dislike for spiders after getting jumped scared by one particular Spider!Brackern, that is the most competitive with her for Powder's attention) and one Scorpion!Brakern likes to sit on Powder's back (as if it were a backpack) and offer her advice on certain situations and learns about the world that it now lives in; because I don't think the Namestones had much chances to see their surroundings.
On one particular day, about a year or so after discovering the Brackerns and building their bodies, Powder and co. go Topside to scavenge parts and loot luxury apartments (Powder feels more confident in these jobs now) but on the way to the job they pass by the academy where Jayce and Viktor are running a test on one of "their" Namestones and poor Powder and the Brackern on her back (we'll call her Fluer, because she's covered in metal flowers that Powder and Ekko painstakingly wielded together) can hear the Namestones screaming in agony; and all Powder and Fluer can do is listen.
Vi and the others become concerned when Powder just suddenly stops and starts screaming, they have to abandon the job to get her home because she's drawing attention; rather than being annoyed or angry though their just deeply concerned (even Mylo) because Powder hasn't had a breakdown like this in some time, and when she explains what happened they become angry on her the Brackerns behalf.
And this is how her journey into becoming Jinx begins, she uses Jinx as an alias and dons a disguise to become the biggest thorn in Piltovers side.
Stealing/liberating Namestones, crashing Hextech fundraisers, vandalizing buildings with Anti-Hextech propaganda, and so on; basically she becomes a Brackern activist and vigilante, her efforts to free the Brackern also benefits Zaun because with each Namestone liberated and Brackern-Bot created (yes, me and Mylo are totally calling them that 😂😂) Zaun gains more allies in the Brackern.
They help mend buildings and machinery around Zaun and use their infinite knowledge in magic to teach Powder and others (through Powder) who have magical potential how to harness magic and use it to benefit those around them.
Hooo boy, this ask is a long one I'll just dot point the rest 😅
Vander adopted Ekko because he had no one after Benzo's death, although Powder finds it hard to see him as a brother even though she loves him 👉👈 #Timebomb
Powder got Ekko to help her build the Brackern-Bots to distract him from witnessing Benzo's death.
Ekko still forms the Firelights because Silco and the Chembarons are still an issue.
Silco and Vander have a tentative truce, much like what Vander and Greyson had, and this is only possible because of Powder; a.k.a the only one out of Vander's kids that Silco likes 😂
She basically acts like a mediator/negotiator between the two men.
She's met Jayce and Viktor and begrudgingly admits that neither are bad people, she felt guilty about this until the Brackern told her that they don't fault either man for their part in the Brackerns circumstances because they don't know the harm their inflicting (having an infinite lifespan and knowledge can make you surprisingly forgiving).
She begrudgingly likes Caitlyn because of how happy and relaxed she makes Vi.
Annnd, Powder makes robot bees...
I'll tell you more about them another time 😜 😂
NOT THE SPIDERS KFDJNGKSJFNG
i feel lowkey sorry for everyone that has to deal with this entire family xD Sounds like a real mess.
The spider!brackern was the first one to comfort Powder. Change my mind (but don't really). And why am I thinking of Zim's pak when I think of Powder's scorpion bodied friend xD
Ye no the brackern went into hibernation sometime before the runic wars to evade that mess. They unfortunately didn't wake up in time to prevent the massive theft Camille's family perpetuated.
(BUT AWWW POWDER WITH WHAT'S ESSENTIALLY A FLOWER BACKPACK I CAN'T FJSKDFJSKDJ)
The thing about the brackern is that they're a hivemind. They probably could hear their kin from the Undercity regardless of the proximity. It's possible that up until that moment, the experiments on the namestones had been fairly undamaging, so they decided to simply monitor the situation. But then that incident happens and poor Powder who is tuned into the hivemind feels their pain the same way the rest of the hivemind does.
(Lowkey is Powder just part of the hivemind now? Integrated into it so now she's technically never alone.)
I could see her curled up in the aftershocks of the experiment, unable to really move to the frantic concern of her human family members. I could see her whimpering "it hurts make them stop" over and over again. She'd keep getting flashes of golden eyes (both Viktor and Jayce have gold elements to their eyes) and she absolutely panics the first time she meets either Jayce and Viktor.
Honestly though? I can see their being a situation prior to Powder becoming Jinx where Vander attempts to negotiate with topside. But unfortunately, the sheriff (his only in up topside) was still dead and therefore that attempt didn't amount to much.
I love the idea of Jinx becoming a brackern activist and vigilante, but I unfortunately am hesitant with saying that Powder and friends would snatch the namestones TT0TT. Because if Powder and the others started snatching the stones (rather publicly too), the whole of the undercity is going to pay for it (and there is no chemtech to protect them and - I love the brackern - but I'm not sure of what their physical capabilities are in the stones).
I'd like to think that maybe Vi and her brothers break into the labs to confront Viktor and Jayce (*cough* how she also meets Caitlyn eventually - through them *cough*). Pretty much yells at them to cut this shit out and be more careful with the namestones.
They are extremely curious and fascinated about meeting Powder but, again, the poor kid has a breakdown when she sees them - it kind of seals the realization that what they were doing was hurting sentient beings.
No but SCIENCE BROS. After Powder stops hiding from the hextech duo, she hangs out in their labs sometimes (always with one or two brackern paying close attention to her) though she keeps a fair distance away from the two. Powder gets her education from the brackern in what knowledge they have about runic magic and Powder hesitantly passes it down.
(and ye I can see most of the brackern letting Viktor and Jayce off the hook, but one or two having a very hard time doing so)
The Undercity becomes used to the idea of a child being a teacher in runic magic. I feel like a few parents with children who show some magic potential even come to her for help.
(Powder is just like - I have no idea what I'm doing plz don't make me do this. Vi is just very proud and saying stuff like 'you're doing great Pow-Pow!')
O fuck i forgot Benzo died xD Ye Ekko is getting adopted by Vander. TIMEBOMB TIMEBOMB LEGGOOOOO Powder has no idea she has a crush on him and is just like - what is wrong with me???
I feel like they would constantly be working to upgrade the bots so - ye. Ekko spending a lot of time with Powder working on that.
o no Silco is still alive xD that is a problem. How much you wanna bet he tries to snatch Powder when he realizes how much of an asset she is and then realizes he actually gives a damn about her wellbeing. Whenever Vander and Silco meet Powder is contractually obligated to stand in-between the men but rarely actually gets to say anything cuz they talk over her skjgnkfjgns
Caitlyn is on a very thin line, (1) for being a topsider and (2) for wanting to be an enforcer. One step out of place and she's out.
ROBOT BEES :DDDD

Blue Bird!Jinx AU is probably one of the more LoL lore heavy AUs I have. There’s quite a lot of relevant backstory (or eventually relevant pfft)!
Zaun prior to being “Zaun” or the “Undercity” (just to take into account Arcane canon), was a part of the Shuriman Empire. I didn’t actually realize that until I started reading more heavily into the lore.
Kha'Zhun became Osha Va'Zaun, before it finally became Zaun. Piltover was essentially built on top of Zaun (to get away from the toxins and whatnot), so Zaun in fact came first.
This is one of the reasons I see Arcane as a separate universe from original lore. The geography is also extremely different (I refer you to leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/ for that because I still have a hard time figuring it out myself). Piltover separated from Zaun almost immediately upon creation, so that was also a thing. There was no “Undercity” to begin with.
As a result of the changes, I’m not sure how much they kept from the original lore and how much they’ve dropped. The removal of the sun gates kind of removes half of the reasons for Zaun’s major events. I get why they did it when they went for the hex gates, but it removed a lot of Zaun’s history. I’m kind of annoyed by it tbh.
I’m going to take some liberties with Arcane’s version of Zaun’s past.
In this AU, what happened was that over time as Piltover (or Topside) developed itself, the Undercity was slowly left behind. Eventually most of the power and wealth (and political power) was delegated to topside while the Undercity continued to suffer. The split didn’t happen due to the Undercity’s possession of resources (including mines and labor). As a result, an “underclass” was formed from residents of the original Zaun.
There’s a whole other plot going on in Shurima. It’s actually super interesting, I suggest you read it! But to summarize, in the year 989 AN (After Noxus) Azir, the last Shuriman emperor before the fall of the Shuriman Empire, is resurrected/reawakened by his descendent Sivir. Azir’s goal is to rebuild the Shuriman empire (and I would like to remind you that Zaun was once a part of that empire).
Unfortunately, the champions Renekton and Xerath are also released from their prison. Xerath’s goal is to build his own civilization in his “image” through a hostile takeover essentially. So... they’re a problem.
(So is Azir but no one’s seeing it yet)
Jinx was born in 975 AN. She’s around 14 years old when Azir is resurrected.
Janna is the spirit-god who blessed Powder before she was born. Hence the blue hair symbolizing her favor (rather than the purple or pink hair she would have been born with). Janna as a goddess remained in Zaun after the original “Progress Day” in which she saved hundreds of Zaunites with her winds. Powder was always destined be a “champion” of sorts for her (a priestess even, originally) as Janna’s power and faith faded in Zaun’s memory over time and Janna saw how the Uppercity continued to choke the Undercity. Powder was originally blessed with the hope that one day she would bring back the memory of the Spirit-Gods that once served Zaun and improve the livelihood of the people.
But then Powder gets killed... and Janna isn’t happy at all. Her anger results in the worst storm in recent memory - leading many in Zaun to conclude that Janna was pissed with Silco’s takeover.
(There is a greater religious following of Janna in this world compared to Arcane - at least of what we’ve seen)
I’m not... completely sure of the plotline for this world, but despite how innocent Jinx starts out she likely won’t remain that way forever. Much of her memories ARE held back for the sake of her remaining sane though, so she’s not going to be LoL levels of insane.
When she arrives in Shurima, she quickly realizes that it’s nothing but a ruin. It is a good thing for her that she isn’t technically alone. Janna’s winds follow her more often than not and her storms continue to keep her company.
Like I said, I’m not completely sure of the plotline, but some things I’m sure of include the following:
She spends years exploring the Shuriman desert and much of the world.
Jinx is friends with Viktor and Caitlyn in this world (through pure chance). She drops by Piltover every 6 months in conjunction with her visits to the Undercity (she will always call it “Zaun” despite it’s current ties with Piltover).
She is also allies, or tentative friends, with Lux. Unfortunately for Jinx, Lux panics every time she sees Jinx considering how anti-magic Demacia is so she doesn’t see her much until after Sylas’ rebellion (I recommend you read her comics, I’m taking into account her lore-related self and the comics). Lux is very concerned about Jinx’ survival instincts xD (or lack there of).
She visits Zaun in her blue bird form every six months or so when the winds begin to shift back towards that direction. While she doesn’t remember her childhood, she does make sure to check up on the growing Firelight movement and even on Silco. It’s during these visits that Janna is more active in Zaun (everyone knows not to touch the blue bird - Silco even made a rule/law on it).
Speaking of Zaun, Janna hasn’t abandoned them, but she’s definitely not as present post Silco’s taking over the Lanes. It makes things a bit more difficult for him (and assures that even without Jinx there to make a mess, Piltover will eventually look into Zaun’s business).
Not sure who Jinx is going to have for enemies yet, but they will exist at some point. Tentatively, I’m going to say Piltover as a whole will be a future enemy.  I’m not completely sure if Silco will be an enemy.
She likely won’t be getting along with Azir or other Shuriman ascended either. Shurima’s Spirit-Gods were essentially purged/destroyed by them because Shurima’s ascended (God-Warriors) wanted to be worshipped as gods themselves. And Janna being a Spirit-God herself, well, Jinx takes offense.
That may change in the future as I figure out the plot though.

ReBirth
Note: Hello! Welcome to a new arcane Jinx-centric AU :D
--x--
“I was dead... until I wasn’t”
Thought flowed through a raging ocean; unforgiving and swift, tendrils carried away into the tide before they could come to fruition. Cries of fear, triumph, horror, and rejoice (such brilliant joy in their cheers even as despair settled deep in her heart) echoed around her, distant from her ears yet so close as to feel them resonate and imprint into her sense of self.
Forged anew from flames and steel, from prayers and calls of salvation, she opened her eyes for the first time in her living memory.
The tears quickly dried from her face even as the reason for said tears and the emotions that had once filled her faded without so much as a memory to allow her to decipher why. Thoughts that had once been slow and hard to grasp grew sharper, though no less fleeting, as awareness began to flood her senses.
Fire was innate to her nature. Somehow she knew this even with the realization that she knew very little else. A strange lack of emotion soothed the jagged edges of a healing mind, preventing panic or fear from taking hold, and instead fostering curiosity. She felt a vague awe, even as the itching-aching that encompassed her torso rapidly spread to her eyes, working diligently to sharpen the surrounding world. The film that had coated her vision in grey and magenta eventually cleared to reveal greens and stormy blues.
Like a newborn she gazed up, mesmerized, taking in the flashes of light - lightening - that streaked across the sky in a thunderous fury. What a beautiful storm she had been born from. Did the storm create her or had it been the river? She relaxed into the gentle whispers and reassurances, arching into the waves lapping at her toes. It was such a sharp contrast to the storm’s triumphant cackles, but the girl found herself soothed nonetheless.
She wiggled her bare toes, pressing pale fingers into wet grains of dirt, and marveled at the sensations assaulting her senses. It was so cold in contrast to the heat surrounding her.
Riverbank.
Riverbank? Oh! She was on a riverbank! A high pitched giggle echoed around her before becoming abruptly silent. Another laugh rang out, slightly hesitant at first before beginning to grow steadily in volume and echoed glee.
That was her, that was her voice!
Raising a hand (her hand was so small, was she really so small) as if to touch the white clouds blocking parts of her vision, the girl let out a high pitched squeak as her hand touched something almost unbearably hot. She watched with amazement as the white broke apart in lines of... smoke? Her eyes widened in wonder when she noticed that the clouds were coming off of her hand, off of her entire body.
That is steam, child.
Steam... not clouds? She liked clouds better!
Almost vibrating with energy, the girl looked around with curious excitement. The clouds were starting to fade away, becoming more transparent as the aching finally faded from her chest. She wanted to explore and she couldn’t do that lying down! With a deep inhale, she forced her body up with a push of her hands.
Only to fall back down almost immediately.
Letting out a slightly embarrassed cough, she couldn’t help but laugh at herself. She had to try that again!
It took a while to get her shaking legs under her, but after a moment of reassuring herself and puffing up her cheeks, she made a second attempt at standing.
It went better than the first time!
Arms pinwheeled as she fought to stabilize herself. It was difficult, and her legs were refusing to cooperate despite how hard she tried to will them to stay still. It was then that she ran into another obstacle. The young girl let out a high-pitched yelp as she stepped on something that sent a stab of ow ow ow what was that up her spine.
That was -
hurt
Hurt! That hurt!
Still somewhat shaky as she tried to find a position that wasn’t as painful, she looked down and couldn’t help but blink at the blue feathers that were pinned underneath a bare foot. Taking a careful step forward (the pain almost immediately fading to her relief), she realized that the weight on her back was actually a piece of - what - clothing? It was wrapped firmly around her shoulders and if she hunched, it could have probably covered her entire body and then some. Stroking the feathers, her eyes shined as she was struck with the realization that the material was so so soft!
Letting out a giggle, she clumsily twirled in place, the thick fabric and feathers fanning out around her. The girl cooed in awe over the light blue feathers that made up the long... cloak? Cape? Did the head cover make it a cloak? She reached up to examine the feathers near her head only to find herself pulling on hair.
Gasping, she realized that her hair was the same color as the feathers on the cloak and - that was so cool?! She tried to rush over to the river even as the cloak dragged behind her slightly and made her wobble on her already unsteady legs. The blue-haired girl (she couldn’t get over her excitement at that) let out a slightly breathless giggle as she fell against the edge of the river bank, hurrying to take a look at the face in the mirror, the face that was hers.
She was unreasonably excited with what she saw.
The first thing that came to mind was how soft she was. Her face and features were round, eyes impossibly wide against cherub-like features. Her eyes shined rather brilliantly in contrast to her surroundings, an almost burning light that made the reflection around her eyes blur in the dark murky water.
Her hair was choppy and short, but reaching around to the back of her head confirmed that it was longer in the back (it would be nice to have a longer braid, two maybe, it would be so pretty - ). The metal clips in her hair were a bit out of place, but no less riveting to fiddle with. The edges were carefully smooth and the material seemed custom. Someone had put thought into the clips that she was wearing. The blue-haired girl wondered who had cared enough to offer her such a gift. Warmth encompassed her chest as she smiled and stroked the metal pieces. She would love to meet them!
You are Powder.
Her head snapped up as a bright light streaked through the sky. The thunder’s resonance continued the storm’s statement.
You are Jinx.
What?
The girl (Powder-Jinx, Jinx-Powder) blinked up at the sky even as the storm seemed to have little else to say on that matter.
“I’m Powder... Jinx? Is that, like, a last name or something? Or maybe it’s Jinx Powder?” She - Jinx - questioned, scratching at her head as her brow furrowed in confusion. It sounded better than the other way around.
Go home.
The newly named Jinx blinked as the voice whispered behind her, beckoning her silently to turn south of the river. Looking down the girl found herself gasping at the metal constructions and buildings. So different from looking at the bright city on the other side of the river.
“That’s home?” The newly dubbed Jinx couldn’t help the way she smiled, bright and eager at the realization that she had a home and people that were probably waiting for her! She began to make her way across the wet dirt of the river bank and towards the metal city.
No.
The blue-haired girl stopped. “No?” She echoed with a curious lilt in her tone, not offended in the least.
South. To Shurima.
Never-ending sand and carved figures, sharp features and symbols carved into cliffsides, flashed across her vision. Jinx blinked back the vision and found herself grinning even wider with near reverent joy.
“Home,” she echoed like a prayer, backing away from the border of the metal city and finding herself looking up to the sky.
“It had felt so final back then. Turning away from the Undercity, turning away from Zaun.”
It was then that she turned her attention for the first time to the lurking monolith that was the bridge above her. Eyes shining with glee, she was struck with the urge to climb the metal structure, to dangle from the supports and lines just because she could.
Why climb if you can fly?
Jinx let out a cry of disbelief mixed with choking exhilaration. She couldn’t... could she? Looking down at the feathers of her cloak and back up towards the looming structure, she felt almost as if her heart was trying to jump it’s way out of her chest.
Eyes shining with unshed tears, though she found herself unable to explain why she was on the verge of tears, Jinx began walking towards the bridge. Taking in a shaky breath, the girl didn’t allow herself to look down at her feet even as they trembled with the threat of falling with each step. Panting, she nearly tripped once or twice, just barely catching herself in time, as she found herself speeding up. The sound of her bare feet hitting the dirt felt like a triumph, thunder at her back, lightening leading the way.
Faster, go faster blue bird
The blue-haired girl let out an amazed, breathless burst of laughter as she finally began to run. Thunder bit at her heels, urging her to go quicker, as the wind pushed her forward and up. The drag of her cloak as it fanned out behind her didn’t seem to hinder her, feathers seeming to weather the near vicious current with ease.
It was exhilarating, it felt like understanding, and it felt like love and coming home.
Jinx didn’t know much about herself, but at the same time she knew enough.
Cloak wrapping around her like a second skin, Jinx gasped as she felt herself becoming more. Feathers climbed up and down her neck, wrapping around her arms in a layer of soft plumage. Touch and sight overwhelmed her as thousands of new sensations stretched from her limbs, from her face and her chest. Jinx felt so infinitely big for a moment, larger than life even. Feathers painted wide brush strokes onto her flesh, almost seeming to encompass the sky, before becoming so very small.
And when Jinx opened her eyes she realized -
The sky was made up of a hundred colors.
Everything around her was saturated in bright hues of blue, green, gold and everything in between. She found herself having a difficult time describing the majesty of the sky, of the city of iron, unable to describe the colors that seemed to pop out where they had previously been hidden in smog, where darkness had hidden fine details nearly invisible to the human eye. Clear and crisp, lines of contrast were so easy to pick out and Jinx found herself wanting to never move, to live in that perfect moment forever.
The shining city to the north seemed to pale in comparison with it’s oversaturation mismatch of colors and golden accents, but Jinx thought it may have been unfair to judge. It was probably a pretty city as well. Perhaps not so suited to birds though.
Her voice had become sharp and high pitched, letting out piercing trills as she rose higher and higher into the brightening sky.
It was nearly daylight.
“My first sunrise was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.”
The light that fell over the bridge, over the twin cities felt almost symbolic in a way. The colors that were revealed under the light even more so.
Finally reaching the very top of the bridge felt like a triumph, though Jinx couldn’t quite understand why. And before she thought to articulate, her encompassing black eyes turned towards what was beyond underground city.
Home, she needed to go home.
Jinx could just barely see past the storm that seemed to consume the skies, but it did nothing to shorten the excitement she felt at the idea of the adventure this would be.
She didn’t think to hesitate, think to wait and look around the area (she would have found a frantic boy screaming her name and the names of a near-dead girl).
With a push of sturdy wings, the blue bird unknowingly left behind her first home in search of another.

The thought of ekko and jinx going to eachother for love advice when they both have no clue how to romance is hilarious
Jinx: how to kiss person?
Ekko: I came to you for love advice why are you asking me??
dglkndfgjnksdfjn
no but honestly. They're both incredibly intelligent in their own sectors. Ekko is a brilliant and inspirational leader with a mind for invention (enough to create time travel, the man is that intelligent). Jinx is a demolition expert and a gunsmith (not even considering what else she's capable of inventing - the teleporter in the wild rift animation for example) and that's on top of her ability to manipulate and stealth her way out of most situations.
But love? Both would be completely clueless. They come together to try and figure shit out but they get even more confused somehow.
They don't know the definition of a healthy romantic relationship either. No ones ever modeled it for either of them and they both took on heavy mantels at a very young age. Ekko as the leader of the firelights and Jinx as Silco's daughter (which is probably the closest you can get to being royalty in Zaun if you aren't a chembaron - tell me I'm wrong). Both are prominent figures in Zaun.
Jinx grew up in an environment where she was surrounded by drugs, prostitution, etc. but she was also very isolated from the scene and never cared enough to pay attention. So she's out of luck there.
In the original lore, Ekko's parents are alive. In Arcane I think we're assuming that they died somehow - probably in the failed revolution with Vi and Powder's parents. So I'm assuming Ekko grew up with minimal education on that front.
Ekko going to Jinx for advice is damn hilarious. If Ekko had gone to her first, I think it's because he assumed living with Silco (in the aforementioned environment) would have meant she had more experience than him.

I know that some people compare Jinx/Powder to a monkey, but I think she's more relatable to a cat.
Powder: has big adorable eyes, is clingy to people she likes, and loves exploring as well as being incredibly curious.
Canon!Jinx: mischievous, destructive, and honestly makes me think of those cat's that will hold eye contact with you as they slowly push your glass of water of the table 😂
Fighter!Jinx: would be more akin to an abused review cat 🥺 she's going to be angry and lash out at people trying to care for her, and would hide in dark corners until she feels comfortable approaching you; but will hopefully, after some time, start being playful with you.
I especially like the idea that Ekko leaves her little care packages, because he hopes that in doing so she'll start to lower her guard around him and his friends, and inside one of them is Firelight mask shaped like a cat and some crayons or paint.
At first she would ignore it but over time she would gradually start doodling on the mask, maybe drawing her scars on it, and then start wearing it on missions when she feels more comfortable approaching Ekko ❤️
<3<3<3<3
You are so right xD I can see her being a cat. All of those definitions are absolutely *spot on*
....
Now that you said this I kind of want to mention that there is an arcane cat zine that’s currently in the “accepting applications” stage of a zine: https://leagueofkittens.carrd.co/
It looks cute and personally i’m just  👀
...
But YE OG Jinx is more of a monkey versus the Arcane version of her that is more like a cat. The girl grows up to be pretty tall 0o0
I can’t help but think about arcane!Jinx wrapped around Silco with a shit eating grin directed at Sevika. She probably pranked the woman or something and Sevika is seething. The woman would look like she’s ready to jump the little shit if Silco wasn’t in the way.
Fighter!Jinx will absolutely stay in the rafters and shoot at anyone that comes close if she isn’t feeling safe. This girl is gonna get her guns, believe me, and when she does it’s gonna be everyone's problem.
(all the paint guns, ALL OF THEM, and when she gets her hands on whatever concoction the firelights use to immobilize people it is on)
I’d like to think Ekko would have a hard time pinpointing where to leave any care-packages for her and probably question if they even get to her at all. You’ve got her pretty pinned down though. She wouldn’t touch the food until she’s finally got it in her head that he doesn’t work with Silco and even then is just - “I’m no ones charity case!!!”
She would definitely grab the drawing supplies though. Maybe the food if she’s desperate enough to push past her pride and is past the thinking-he-works-for-Silco phase.
Fighter!Jinx is one of the most stubborn people in Runeterra. She’s done a great job at resisting Silco’s attempt to bring her fully to the dark side, she’s not gonna fall just because someone brought her some crayons.
(Though she probably cries a bit when she draws something on the wall for the first time. She’s hit with waves of nostalgia and regret. Jinx didn’t realize she had missed this until she had finally gotten it back)
Ahhh but the mask. The first time it shows up in one of the offerings, it would absolutely set her and firelight relations back for at least a week or two. There would be paint traps that stains a bunch of them pink for a week minimum.
She would absolutely get offended at receiving it because she would perceive it as the recruitment attempt it absolutely is, but Jinx doesn’t throw it away despite her better judgement. She would probably stare at it during nights she couldn’t sleep and color in the *boring* white until it’s much prettier.
When relations are better, I could imagine her drilling a hole into the mask and hanging it around her waist from a string. That or wearing the mask backwards. She won’t ever cover her face (I think she would be a bit claustrophobic after years in a small cell so actually wearing it properly gives her severe anxiety). Jinx would absolutely draw her scars on the mask and trace over it as a self-soothing habit.

LuckMage!Jinx being even more batshit after realizing she really truly did cause all the bad in her life uwu
Strands of hair yanked free of her head as calloused hands fisted into her scalp. The pain of the strain wasn't enough - wasn't enough to block out the words that repeated in her head over and over -
your fault your fault
It had been a good day! Silco had been able to find the scrap she needed to upgrade zapper and she had been able to blow some wannabe big shots into the sewers - a shower of glitter and guts - and Sevika hadn't even said shit about it, had even looked reluctantly impressed.
It had been a good day.
killed everyone because you lost your shit -
"Shut up!!"
Her screams echoed off the metal walls, the echo being the only sound she could hear other than the creak coming from her projects as they swung back and forth from the fans and the sparse bits of furniture that she'd dragged in.
"It can't be - he had to be lying, he had to be," she panted, forcefully ripping her hands from her hair, taking a few strands with her and ruining the slicked back look preceding her braids.
"I'm not magic - I can't - there's no magic folk in the slums, everyone knows that."
Jinx didn't know who she was trying to convince. Herself maybe (or the tall figure of Mylo that sat cross legged on the couch, always judging her).
"I'm no mage," she growled, reaching over to grab the box of scraps that she had been originally tinkering with, had planned to build more of the chemical bombs to tag the Firelights with the next time they showed up. As she violently wrenched a loose bolt from it's holding in the chomper prototype, she couldn't help the way her mind started connecting the dots.
The way she had always been good at shooting (had been good at other things before realizing they were useless).
How no matter what she did, how many Firelights she took down, the bastard in the owl mask stayed unharmed and alive despite everything.
(Jinx wondered if Ekko had kept that necklace she had given him when she was Powder)
That time one of the dull-headed goons had been convinced that a few prayers from her would ensure their mission went well (it didn't and Jinx laughed when he'd come back missing an eye).
When Jinx had been tiny and small, and believed the world of her sister but didn't believe shit about herself.
And according to painted-eyes that had been enough to Jinx everyone around her.
"Such delicate magic, so dependent on your belief and self-esteem, it's no wonder you're known as quite the loose-canon."
So many instances, some small and insignificant while others big enough to smack her in the face as if to say how the fuck did you never notice.
Jinx did her best to ignore the burning sensation tugging at the corners of her eyes. She was good at denying things about people, about herself, and Jinx couldn't help the way she shook as she tried to deny deny deny until it went away.
So she didn't know why or when she had gotten up and had made her way down one of the fan ends. Her mind was viciously blank as she pulled out the tiny weathered chest that had been pushed into the corner, forgotten for years.
"It doesn't mean anything," Jinx whispered viciously, eyes wide and unhinged as she pried open the lock and revealed the contents with a loud creak of the hinge.
Remants of a ghost, of who Powder had been; old prototypes (that never worked - was that why they never worked??) that she had lovingly given names like whisker and scratches, gifts from long dead friends (some not so dead), and small trinkets that Powder-before-she-became-Jinx had hid away before Silco could trash them.
Her lips trembled as she reached in and pulled out the first object that had been so carefully placed on top. Vi's bunny rabbit, the one that she had given the younger girl when Vi had thought that she would be going away for good. Vi had never said anything, never told her that was why she had given the toy to her, but Jinx had known something was wrong.
She still went away for good.
Jinx flinched and couldn't help the small apology she gave the rabbit as her nail ripped into a fragile seam. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you didn't deserve that," she cried, pulling in the plush to hug it delicately to her chest.
When people looked at her, they saw all the harshness and uncaring that lined her edges, but never looked close enough to see much else. They never realized how much of a delicate hand it took to build her bombs, build her weapons, and do what she did.
It was with those delicate hands that Jinx raised the bunny up until it's black beaded eyes were staring right into hers. And then Jinx asked the question that had been burning on her tongue since the mage had so broke her world.
"Was it... my fault... that Vi left?"
She was met with complete and utter silence.
Jinx seemed to crumble as the seconds went by and no one answered; not the scribbles, not Mylo or Claggor, no one. "Did I Jinx her? Did I make it so that she couldn't come back?"
It wasn't true. Jinx had wanted her back, had wanted Vi to come back more than anything even as the flames had nearly scorched her back and her cheek stung to remind her of Vi's anger.
"Names hold power. If you see yourself as a Jinx, to yourself and to everyone around you, the arcane will respond in kind."
The girl sobbed.
Jinx had been born that night. What could have been more unlucky for her family than the birth of a monster?

I wanna imagine if jinx ever did get medication and therapy she starts to get anxious about all the stuff she did and is really clingy to vi, just asking her if she's a monster while her sister just reassures her it's not her fault. And also makes sure the council doesn't try shit or else because she's a good sister and she's not gonna abandon her especially now.
Ooof I wonder how meds would even work for her.
She would have so much anxiety over screwing things over like she always does and she's just trying her best. Her anxiety would definitely be hidden pretty well too (Jinx seems the type to prefer breaking down in private if she can help it).
Vi would probably wake up to find her sister curled up in bed next to her multiple times a week.
On the other hand...
Meds can't really do anything about the apathy Jinx has towards the death of the people around her (or to be more exact, her killing the people around her). I could see her having a difficult time adjusting herself to not having the voices in her head to bounce opinions off of. They're almost similar to a sounding board and kind of act as a moral compass if you think about it. Without their input I could see her turning to Vi or someone else to figure out if she's doing something wrong or just looking for approval.
She would do this excessively and Vi would eventually question her about it. Jinx would say something along the lines of how the voices were usually the ones telling her if she fucked up or not and now that they weren't there, well, she didn't know if she was messing up sometimes (whether it be with interacting with people, her choices during missions, some of her actions, etc).
And, well, here's another thing - Vi would absolutely be very repetitive with saying how some of the things Jinx did wasn't her fault and how Mylo and Claggor's deaths weren't her fault, but it doesn't really help? Because Jinx knows on a subconscious level that it was her fault, that everything she did was on her hands, and she just can't move on from that.
And the worst thing? She doesn't feel guilty about what she did under Silco - at all.
Her apathy towards death is likely a result of being surrounded by it from a very young age and that's a learned response, not quite something meds can fix. And I could see Jinx doing her best to dodge therapy.
But I would imagine someone eventually coming along and saying something along the lines of "yeah it is your fault, but it helps no one if you obsess over it". Not sure who would do it, but someone would snap. Sympathy tends to have a limit and a lot of people don't really like Jinx.
Ok but Vi going to excessive lengths to protect her sister is my jam. The council members are leeches and would either want to exploit Jinx or have her locked away permanently. It's an uphill battle and Vi wishes Jinx would make it easy for her.
(I'll be honest, Jinx would absolutely run back to Zaun after a month or two. She would find Piltover's constrictions suffocating - probably even come to hate Piltover more - and I don't think she would take to meds very well.
Vi would be devastated. Caitlyn wouldn't be surprised and would actually be pretty understanding versus Vi who was blindsided)

funny mental image: jinx trying to confess her love to whoever stole her heart and like breaking into cait's room to ask her and vi for advice before rushing off. breaking into the firelight base to do the same with ekko. and before long somehow like half of piltover and zaun's most important figures know she has a thing for someone except the actual person themselves.
odfjkjdfn canon!Jinx being in love is really funny to me, because how would she conceptualize love? Does she treat it like an object, a weapon, or something she can't comprehend?
(i know this was a funny take and based on some previous convos we had a lil ways back but xD)
Arcane!Jinx trying to confess to someone and having no idea how to display or recognize love is simultaneously hilarious and sad. Before realizing that she has a crush, she'd be so disturbed by the sensation because she's never experienced it before. I could see her pulling her crush's figurative pig tails in an attempt to get rid of of her feelings. And by that I mean she tries to blow said crush into tiny bits.
LOOK AT ME AND TELL ME THAT I'M WRONG??? THIS IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE SHE WOULD TRY TO KILL THEM.
If it was a friend she would mercilessly prank them, maybe throw some non-lethal bombs their way. They'd be covered in glitter for weeks.
Jinx would absolutely try to blow up the person they're crushing on to try and get rid of their feelings at first. Mostly because it makes her feel weird and she doesn't know if it's a good or bad thing. After it doesn't work (hopefully) someone finally tells her what's going on (when she's fighting and ranting about it at Vi most likely - lowkey their fights are absolutely just to catch up on each others lives and to brush up on their skills - her sister collapses laughing when she realizes what's going on). Cue confusion.
Vi offering advice would creep Jinx out because - no she doesn't want to know anything about Caitlyn and Vi's love life thank you very much. Ekko highkey wants to shut the door in her face when she comes to him but he knows that she'll keep coming back so he says some shit to get her to leave.
A few hours later she's looking glum sitting on his floor, completely drenched, and being like 'it didn't work'. That's when he's like - shit she's actually serious and actually tries to help her.
Except Ekko has never been in a relationship either so -
--x--
Ok but I am 60% sure this ask was in context with the Luck Mage!Jinx AU. Mage!Jinx is mostly well adjusted (and most people are ignorant to her skillset regarding building explosives) so I feel like she would be beating men and women off with a stick (or have a few individuals willing to do it for her).
Jinx is not as willing to kill, but she is still perfectly fine with maiming and colorfully fucking with people. Unfortunately, that attracts some rather eccentric people xDD
Jinx absolutely has this one guy that keeps asking for her hand in marriage that she barely keeps herself from unaliving if only to prevent a diplomatic incident.
(I'll be honest, not completely sure if Jinx will continue going by "Jinx" in this au. It has extremely negative connotations and names have power for magic users. She may alternate between Powder or Jinx given the situation, but I'm not sure).
