For the 28th week, the people of Yemen gathered in millions across the country in support of the steadfast Palestinian people and their resistance, under the slogan "With the Gaza of Glory.. Mobilization and Alert."

The protesters sent their solidarity to the resistance movements in the region and the historic student movement in the US, holding banners which read: "To the brave American students, stand your ground! Yemen stands with you for a free Palestine! They can arrest you, but they can never break your spirit!"

A million man march took place in Sana'a, marches in 21 squares took place in in Al-Hodeidah governorate, 20 massive marches in Al-Mahwit governorate, 20 marches in Saada, as well as marches in Al-Bayda and Hajja governorates.

The statement issued by those gathered in Sana'a affirmed their firm stance in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, commending the operations of the Palestinian, Yemeni, Iraqi, and Lebanese resistance and calling for more operations.

They condemned the recently revealed mass graves at Nasser Medical Complex.

They also emphasized the importance of continuing popular action in support of Palestine at all levels, as well as mobilization and training at the military level, with tens of thousands having graduated already. They renewed their demand to open land corridors to allow fighters to reach Palestine, as well as their call to boycott American and zionist products.

Yemen does not intentionally target civilians. We have evidence of this in our deliberate avoidance of targeting civilians throughout the years of the American, British, Saudi, and Emirati aggression on Yemen.

However, if the American narrative regarding the accidental killing of two individuals on the MV True Confidence, which refused to heed the warnings, is correct, we believe that America should compensate these victims for an (intentional) act.

We are also ready to offer compensation to them for an (unintentional) act, equivalent to what will be estimated for compensation to the civilians in Gaza by America and "israel," since what the Yemeni Armed Forces are doing is a response to the reckless American strikes and America's militarization of the sea to protect "israeli" ships.

As stated in the military spokesperson's statement, we reaffirm, as he said:

"This targeting operation came after the ship's crew ignored the Yemeni naval forces' warning messages.

Accordingly, the Yemeni Armed Forces renew their warning to all ships to respond to the calls of the Yemeni naval forces, and all crews of the targeted ships must quickly depart after the first strike."

A MintPress News study of major U.S. media outlets’ coverage of the Yemeni Red Sea blockade has found an overwhelming bias in the press, which presented the event as an aggressive, hostile act of terrorism by Ansarallah (a.k.a. the Houthis), who were presented as pawns of the Iranian government.

While constantly putting forward pro-war talking points, the U.S. was portrayed as a good faith, neutral actor being “dragged” into another Middle Eastern conflict against its will.

“Houthis are only waging this war to gain legitimacy” is a braindead take, regardless of your political leanings.

Legitimacy from whom? Who exactly was challenging their power? They were on the cusp of a peace deal with Saudi. If anything they’ve jeopardised this revered legitimacy to support and defend Gaza.

If this “legitimacy” gained through supporting Palestine could actually save you, Morsi would’ve died the president of Egypt.

Why don’t other despots like MBS and Sisi seek legitimacy in the same manner since it’s so bloody effective?

Palestine-washing is when a state or leader performs solidarity while continuing to maintain relations with the zionist entity. A good example is Erdogan with his little rallies. Imposing a siege on the zionist entity, seizing ships, launching ballistics and going to war with imperial powers is a heroic act of true solidarity.

In fact if this is “Palestine-washing”, then may the entire world “Palestine-wash”.

The militaries of the United States and the United Kingdom have launched strikes against a total of 91 Ansar Allah-controlled locations in Yemen since November 19th, 2023, when the Yemeni Armed Forces began its operations to shutdown trade with Israel through the Bab el-Mandeb straight in the Red Sea.

Yemeni authorities say the strikes, which targeted Israeli commercial shipping vessels, along with any ships heading to or from ports in the occupied territories, including ships belonging to countries the Yemeni authorities see as supporting Israel, in solidarity with Palestinians under siege and bombardment in the Gaza Strip.

The Ansar Allah movement controls the capital of Yemen, Sana'a, as well as the port city of Hudaydah, along with several coastal cities along the Red Sea.

It has been reported that the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched missile and drone strikes targeting 33 commercial vessels since November 19th.

The United Nations Security Council recently passed a resolution demanding an end to the strikes, however Yemeni authorities have said the attacks will continue as long as Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip goes on.

We welcome direct confrontation with america because they are the ones attacking our country and besieging our people for nine years. "America" is the enemy of peoples, and it is terrorism.

We say to the american terrorist: return to your country to protect it from racism against African Americans and do not protect the "israeli" ships. Our stance is to support Gaza and to protect humanity there, while the "american" stands against humanity and kills all who protect it.

We are the ones who protect maritime navigation, but the "american" coalition is igniting the Red Sea, militarizing it, and threatening it, and "america" is working hard to raise marine insurance prices.

Before the "american" claims that he came to protect international law, let him protect the American Constitution which he violated by bombing and striking our country.

The "american" claims to protect "israeli" ships or those heading to the "israeli" entity under the pretext of international law, which he tramples everywhere in the world.

We will remain alive, God willing, in the face of our enemies, whether we achieve martyrdom or continue to confront them on the battlefronts. We do not see confrontation with the colonizers as anything but life, for life is in confronting these tyrants and arrogant ones in the world.

The american has not brought anything new, but it is us who will bring something new, and we will bring your punishment, God willing.
