I feel like people who watch Kill La Kill just like to completely ignore it's messages. Kill La Kill is NOT just fanservice. Yes there is fanservice I am in no way denying that but there's not nearly as much as people want to think there is. Now hear me out. Kill La Kill has a LOT of underlying messages, one of those being how a woman's body, her chest, her nakedness is NOT inherently sexual. The anime tries to convey this by having the characters naked half the show and the point is that this is NOT fanservice but simply how the characters are dressed. The point is that they are just naked. Not for you pleasuring gaze but cause they want to be. But of course, anime fans lack ANY ability to look further than bOoBiEs!!1!11!

I’m convinced that Trigger DID animate the “good job, Chilchuck! You’re so cool!” praise/petting scene, but they edited it out because they accidentally made it too horny
