Tallulah's letter reminded me of a sentiment I have seen before in another SMP. Although, Tallulah's future seems much happier than his.

It's impressive how someone can recreate the exact same backstory while trying to change it.

He said to his daughter, "I want to give you the option if you want a weapon." Seemingly not wanting to repeat his mistake of forcing his son into a war. While not remembering that, his son told him that he just wanted him to stay and supported him even if he didn't follow his father.

Now, both are escaping their father's enormous shadow that looms in their tired eyes, their prophetic nightmares, and their identical pasts; all while showing that they are not just his son and daughter.

Also I'm not sure how Ena fits into the dad thousand post series timeline. One idea I did have is that Ena isn't with Don, as he's mad at her for not defending Astral. In Ena's case, she had to chose between taking her son or letting those sick and rejected die. Ena had to choose the one that would leave the most people alive- no matter which option her son would be alive regardless, so she made the choice she had to. Don thinks this is bullcrap. Either way, there is tension between them but Don knows enough to know that Astral deserves to spend time with him mother. So that pic with Ena is Astral spending the day with him mother and just babbling about his week. And yes they matched. Don did his braid for him.
