- Scarily good at mental math, like, they can be like a walking calculator it’s so odd. Helpful for helping Davey with calculating pack expenses though! Too bad they can’t spell for SHIT
- Had a gymnastics phase that lasted forever until they fell in love with photography
- Can (and will) give Davey one hell of a chair dance 😳
- They’re very crafty! Lots of their house decor is DIY but looks store-bought
- David knows no peace when it’s time for bed bc Angel is practically moshing in their sleep. If he doesn’t act as their weighted blanket and smoosh them into his chest so they lay still, they’d probably wake up half way across the house
- Their laughter so contagious it can cure every ailment within a 20 mile radius, especially when they accidentally snort

New year, new designs and this time we're revamping David & Angel (Alex Nellans)!
As a person who's very Darlin and Angel coded, I wanted to make an angel who felt a little more in line with the defiant, rough n tumble nature I have who would be a little more opposed to David's attitude. As such, I broke canon and modified the angel storyline a bit.
Alex is still flirty and forward but she's also very fiery and stubborn, giving David hell dor his attitude while being stuck in their ways. He's a runaway turned ace baseball player who plays for the Dahlia Angels (why David gives them their nickname).
David definitely leans more into learning to tone down his distant nature in order to win over Alex who also has to learn to let David in and trust another person again after the various pitfalls they've had in trusting others (see Michael, his parents and a long list of other people).
David's redesign still leans into old elements but now impresses further upon the initial idea I had for him being based on Anubis in more minor ways, meanwhile Alex is based on a stone angel statue hence their colour palette change. (Also fun fact, the flame sticker on her bat is from Damien since they're childhood friends in my head)
