This was ridiculously difficult for me. I was like HAVE I EVEN SEEN 10 FANDOMS like I haven't been in all of these doing things. Also it's hard to narrow it down to one single character because usually I like the interactions of 2. Pairings would be easier.

Hi Grandma! I’ve just learned about Scrivener last night, and wanted to find out your opinion on the pros/cons of it, if you’ve used it. I’m currently doing the free trial.

It seems like I have the same struggles that the creator had - ie not always writing in sequence, moving sections around (causing discrepancies between separate writing docs vs outline docs, etc), having lots of random idea or snippets of future dialogue pop up at random times. Seems like Scrivener offers an easy solution to all of these, without needing to create 17 separate Google Doc files that wind up being out of sync with each other as soon as I move something around in one file.

It’s a pay-once model, which I like a lot more than a subscription-based model. $50 and I get a full license downloaded forever.

Thoughts? Have you used it? Do you like it? Are there other softwares that are better?

I do not have personal experience with scrivener but my long time writing buddy swears by it. As such I'm going to refer this question to @stardust-andwine who will do their best to answer this.

Bill's eyes lifted to meet his, terrified and stubborn with it, and pressed the side of his hand more firmly in Alec’s. Hardy was pretty sure he’d stopped breathing. He hated this. The way Bill threw him off his footing so easily. Could rattle a man’s thoughts so surely that Alec could hardly remember which way was up.
