Have you ever done any data on the Andreggs? Starting to hear them more and more.

The Andreggs are definitely on my radar, and have been for awhile; however, I'm not officially tracking any data for them... Yet. As a family, they’re pretty private and low profile. They don’t have a blog or a public social media presence. At this point, I don’t feel right doing a detailed Post about them, given that they’re so low profile.

Subject to change if James actually announces a courtship with an Andregg Daughter, obviously.

We’ll see. We thought Warden Bates was courting one of them, too, but it seems we were wrong!

Am still hard-core speculating that James is courting an Andregg girl. I am practically convinced. Won't be surprised if we get an engagement for James later this year

2022 Q1 Fundie Happenings

I thought it might be nice to do a little wrap-up of the goings-on in Fundieland for the last 3 months. (I really miss @duggardata 's Next 6 Month series, so this is my way of scratching that itch.)

Anyone is free to chime in with additions, funny things I forgot, etc. 

Jer + Hannah got engaged and married in the same quarter. I would ask if this is a record, but I think Jed + Katey had an ever faster turn-around.

Jed + Katey had a gender reveal party. The seemingly endless streak of girl grandDuggars is over. (And yeah, maybe Lauren has already had a boy, but it hasn’t been announced so I can’t be sure.)

Erin Paine had her miracle baby, Finley Marie.

Kaylee + Jonathon are engaged! Combined, they have a whopping 24 siblings between them.

Nurie + Nathan got into a car wreck, and Nathan got a citation for not having Nehemiah in the proper car seat. Thank God, they’re all fine. 

Jill + Derick Dillard announce that she’s pregnant! It’s a boy!

Nathan Bates goes to Ukraine with Medic Corps, supposedly to give emergency medical training... because he’s obviously the best person to do that.

Lawson + Tiffany got a People Magazine announcement... and it was just for the release of their engagement video/music video. Kind of a let-down, but also a relief because it meant they weren’t getting a new TV show.

Carlin Stewart had grandBates #20, Zade Patrick. (How can they say they name “Patrick Stewart” without smiling? I know it’s also Evan’s middle name, but how????)

EDIT: Trace + Lydia are engaged! I foolishly thought nothing would happen on the last day of the quarter, but they snuck in.

Amusing Things

Jer recycled the igloo from Jed’s proposal. (And honestly? Good for them. I hate seeing stuff get wasted for just one event.) 

Tiffany called Ferrero Rochers “Italian chocolate truffles” and thought we wouldn’t notice.

Timothy Rod made a weird comment about incest in one of his long, rambling Facebook posts.

“I Love You Day” featured one of the Paine girls (Holland?) dressed up “a little servant,” when all her siblings were royalty. They still let her wear a princess dress, though.

Jason and/or James Duggar spotted spending time with the Andregg family and their daughters. Speculation ensues.

Carver Bowers yet again spotted with the Duggars. Speculation ensues.

Lydia Romeike spotted in the “I Love You Day” photo full of Mrs. Bateses. Speculation ensues.

Jer + Hannah’s wedding was pretty lackluster as far as snark goes. However, there’s a ton of speculation about who is and is not pregnant, and I am here for it. (Kendra. Kendra is totally pregnant.)

Episode Recap of “Jana’s Secret Garden” and “A Quarantine Courtship”

Last two episodes of the season! Wahoooo! 

Jana’s Secret Garden

1. The Duggar mommy gang (Kendra, Lauren, Abbie and Anna) visit Jessa’s house to snack and talk about mommyhood. Haven’t we seen this a million times before? It’s all baby girls galore in the tiny house with headbands flying everywhere. The ladies spend their afternoon making lactation cookies, since they’re all in “that nursing season of life”, and homemade baby soap because they’re also in that Jim Bob forced poverty season of life. Later Abbie and John and their baby take nanny Jana to Knoxville so they can get free childcare while other family members at home build a greenhouse for Jana as a surprise. Surprise! Now grow us some more food, wench! In Knoxville, Jana takes a woodworking class with John. She talks about starting a home décor business called Arbor Acres. That’s the name of the road the Duggars live on. Her business is registered as an LLC but the website for the business is unfinished. I don’t think she’ll put Chip and Joanna Gaines out of business just yet. The producer asks Poops and Lolli if Jana is the first Duggar girl to venture out in business and Poops has to bring up his boys. He says they ventured out by selling cars and flipping homes. That isn’t venturing out, that’s being a daddy’s boy doing the same crap daddy does. Michelle changes the subject back to Jana to make the point that Jana IS the first girl to venture out in business, though that business has yet to begin except for personal projects for her family as is expected of an IBLP girl. Jana’s business will most likely never open to the public. Not as long as she lives under Jim Bob’s authority. The guys bungle the greenhouse erection and the women folk attempt to paint flower pots with toddlers. Even though the kids ate a lot of the paint they still did a better job than the men. Jana gets her hair dyed while being interrogated by a rude and nosey hairstylist. I’m sure she was set up for this nosiness by the producers to get somewhat interesting sound bites for commercials. The guys finish the greenhouse with the help of their professional friend, Dwayne Andregg. I’m surprised the Duggars and Andreggs haven’t intermarried yet. It's bound to happen eventually. Jana’s gal pal visits to inspect. Laura approves. Jana flies home as the family decorates for the big reveal. Jana is really surprised and emotional over the greenhouse. It’s like nobody has given her any attention in decades and she’s not used to it.

 A Quarantine Courtship

1. There’s a quarantine going on and a courtship announcement at the end. That’s about it. John bakes a cake for Abbie for her birthday…fast forward. The family holds a quarantine parade to celebrate Abbie’s birthday…fast forward. Jim Bob seems to be having a midlife crisis because he’s driving a 3 wheel sports car in the parade to show off…fast forward. The Duggar girls sew masks for their family only. I guess the Christian spirit didn’t hit them as it did many others when it came to supporting first responders and our neighbors. Fast forward through Jinger and Jeremy doing nothing in LA. Ivy starts walking so the Duggars visit to peep through the window at Ivy’s new trick…fast forward. Family Fun Night is now being held over Zoom. Jinger announces she’s pregnant again but they waited three months to say anything this time. She took a blood test to find out the sex because nobody in this family has any patience to wait. Jeremy kicks a soccer ball that shoots pink powder all over LA starting a couple of forest fires. Stock up on those headbands, Vuolos.  Oh, and then Justin gets on the Zoom meeting to introduce Claire Spivey to the world as his courtship girl. I’m sure this was no surprise to the family and it wasn’t to me since stupid Justin posted a photo of him and Claire back in January and then quickly deleted it. That’s about it. Another season is over. Unfortunately, a new season will probably be back. I’m sure you can’t wait for more Duggar competitions, Duggar females getting pedicures, Duggar males acting incompetent, mommy chats, brother bonding, stupid themed parties, terrifying births and awkward courtships. Next season I would love to see Jim Bob going through a full-blown midlife crisis. Take that 3 wheel sports car and go hang out with Jerry Falwell Jr. for a while, Poops. I’m excited for that season of life.

Looks like an Andregg/Duggar pairing could be possible. We know a lot of the Duggar spouses came from the periphery of families who were close to the Duggars. The father, Dwayne Andregg, was campaign manager for Jim Holt’s US Senate campaign, so I am unsure if the Andregg’s are still on good terms with the Duggars since the Holt’s are not. -Suz

I’m doing some digging on the Andregg sisters that Justin is singing with at this year’s ATI conference. The Andregg family lives on “a small farm” in Arkansas. They are made up of Dwayne and Melanie Andregg and children Ashlynn, Lauren, Brianna, Kiersten, Gabrielle, and Jeremiah. They also lost a son, Josiah, in 2008. 

Dwayne Andregg is a professional contractor who is mentioned in The Duggars: 20 and Counting! as being one of the professionals who worked on the Duggar house; he may have also been briefly featured on one of the early shows in this capacity. He was featured on Counting On in one of the episodes where they build the treehouse. He owns Andregg Custom Homes in Garfield, AR. This business doesn’t appear to have much of an online presence. He was also Jim Holt’s campaign manager. 

As of right now the children are 19, 17, 15, 14, 12, and 6. They regularly participate in 5k and similar races with various Duggars, Caldwells, Swansons, Pattons, and other Duggar friends.

Gracie Enters The 3rd Trimester!

Due November 3–9, 2022, with an Approximate Due Date (ADD) of November 6th, Grace (Wikstrom) Etbauer is 28 Weeks Along—and thus, in the 3rd Trimester of her 2nd Pregnancy.

ICYMI—Grace Ann ("Gracie") (Wikstrom) Etbauer, 23, is a friend of Claire (Spivey) Duggar and Joy (Duggar) Forsyth. She married Kord Etbauer in December 2020, after a 23–Day Engagement. They had their 1st Child—a son, named "Grit"—in Early November 2021. Their sons will be 12 Months Apart.

Gracie + Kord's Families, especially hers, are heavily involved in ATI / ALERT. Kord's Father is also a literal rodeo cowboy. Grace's Brother, Devin, is married to an Andregg Daughter. (The Andreggs have been linked to the Duggars via Jason, and Bateses via Warden.)

I strongly suspect that either Jason or James (or both) are involved with one or more of the Andregg girls. The problem with trying to find out for sure is the Andregg family has all their social media locked down tighter than a fundie chastity belt...

James posted this back in January and it raised eyebrows for me because we don't typically see unattached Duggar boys tagging girls that are unrelated to them in posts. I haven't seen anything since then but, I'll put this on the list of things to look for in Jeremiah and Hannah's wedding pictures. Courtships have come from less so...you never know.

I saw you predicted a Jason courtship. Do you think its anyone we've seen or someone unknown?

No, I made this prediction in december. I believe we didn't even had the Andregg girl rumors back then. I just put down some (maybe random) predictions for the Duggar, Bates, Wissmann, Maxwell and Rodrigues families. Back then most of the Duggars where pretty silent because of Josh. So I thought anything could happen in the mean time without us knowing about it.

But I do find it suspicious that he 'moved' into the treehouse. Although I think he needs a better place if he intends to marry.

Courtship Speculations

I thought I’d do a round-up of all the rumored courtships floating around fundieland. Feel free to chime in with theories, proof, or refutations. (These theories aren’t “mine.” I’m just curating speculation from reddit and tumblr.)

Jackson or Warden Bates and Claire or Emma Langdon. The Langdons attend Crown College and have helped Kelly Jo with homeschooling. Claire just graduated and got a lengthy post from KJ on Instagram. The Langdons were spotted in CA for Lawson’s wedding, and Tiffany is their friend. Kelly Jo giving both girls an IG shout-out is kind of telling to me, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if this turns out to be true. According to a redditor, Warden used to follow Emma Langdon on IG but no longer does. Did something fizzle out between them? Who knows! But Warden’s about the right age for the Langdon’s, too, so he’s on the list.

Warden Bates and a Mystery FL Girl. Folks have noticed that Warden spends a weirdly large amount of time with Alyssa in Florida, and the speculate he’s there to meet a lady friend.

Jason or James Duggar and Ashlynn or Brianna Andregg. Jason (and James?) was spotted bowling with the Andreggs a few months ago, and I think he’s done some work with or for their dad. They’re all roughly the same age, so it’s hard to tell which Duggar boy is getting to know which Andregg girl.

Johannah Duggar and Carver Bowers. Hannie is 16, but we’ve seen the Duggars start dating that young. Carver has been spotted at the Big House for a while, and though he has denied courting Johannah, he’s still kind of coy about the whole thing. As of writing this post (May ‘22), he just posted about attending a concert with friends, including Johannah.

Jackson Bates and Johannah Duggar. Look, I get it. It would be SUCH a spectacle to have a Duggar-Bates wedding. The crackship of Lawson + Jana didn’t play out, and people want to see a gigantic chaotic mess of a wedding. But I don’t really see this one. Jackson has been spotted at the Big House. I think that’s the only evidence. (And does anyone else think it would be weird to marry someone with the same name as your brother? Ick! I feel like that alone should disqualify him as a suitor.) 

EDIT @fundieinfoplace informs me that Warden Bates and Brianna Andregg have been photographed close together. The plot thickens!

I’ve seen Jackson Duggar + Elizabeth Bontrager and Johannah Duggar + Taylor Bontrager thrown around as possible pairings, but I haven’t seen any photo evidence to back it up. Also, there used to be speculation about Warden + an Andregg girl, but there hasn’t been any recent evidence for that.

I’m not very up-to-date on the Bowers, Maxwell, and Bontrager families, and I have no clue what’s up with the Rodrigues clan in terms of courtships. Please add your insights if you have any.
