Thank you all!
As Luis's birthday sadly comes to an end, I'd like to thank everyone who messaged him or asked him a question yesterday. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting Luis to be so popular, but it turns out he may be the most popular member of JST, which I'm perfectly fine with since I'm sorta biased toward him, myself.
With his birthday down, he marks 5/6 of my OCs done. Shisuta's is the last one, and her's is next week! I hope you will show her the same love that you've all shown the others. Thank you all again!

Luis lights a cigarette, his eyes closed as he inhales the nicotine. He blows smoke out of his mouth before reopening his eyes and looking at the screen.
"You know, I never really had a reason to celebrate my birthday before. I mean, I know they're a reason to celebrate, but... as you all probably know, I didn't have much of a childhood growing up. My parents didn't bother to celebrate their own birthdays, much less mine. Oh sure, they brought me a cake and gave me birthday money, but there was no love involved. It was just something to keep me quiet and out of the way. Hell, the butlers and maids did a better job of celebrating my birthday than they ever did.
"After my sixth birthday like that, I started detesting them. Because, what was the point? If I couldn't have a birthday where my parents were actually happy for me to be alive, then what the hell was the point in celebrating it? If not for my Abuela, I still wouldn't find a reason to be happy about it. Tomi and Karada were probably the first people outside of my family who actually bothered to wish me a happy birthday. I thought they were the only ones, but...
"...I see now that I was wrong. Honestly, I'm still a little shocked that so many people sent me gifts. I don't go out of my way to be popular or friendly to most people. I just try to treat them the way I'd like to be treated. Everyone deserves to have some semblance of happiness on their birthday. And I got mine today.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is... thank you. Thank you to all of you. You helped make this birthday one of the most memorable ones I've ever had. And I don't have too many of those, so... yeah. Thank you. I really appreciate it."
Luis sighs and drops his cigarette to the ground, smooshing it under his shoe.
"Dios, eso fue cutre. Realmente espero que Tomi y Karada no escuchen esto. ...Bah, lo que sea. Estoy fuera de aquí. Paz."
("God, that was sappy. I truly hope Tomi and Karada don't listen to this. ...Bah, whatever. I'm outta here. Peace.")
Throwing up a 'peace' sign, the Hispanic chef walked out of sight, hiding the small smile on his face.
