Do you think that there's any reason for Kris to carry a knife every time??I mean,that knife probably didnt appear from nowhere=)
It definitely didn’t appear from nowhere! Kris is somehow carrying it separately from the inventory and for probably many reasons (I have small theories on this…)
What’s fascinating is that Kris reaches to their chest without moving their other arm and pulls out this knife (Closer picture of the arm coming up, I am aware people think it literally appears when Kris’ arm comes up but that isn’t the case)
I do consider they might be hiding it under the bandage so that the soul wouldn’t notice by the time that Kris could take control again (Since the bandage is as far as I know the only piece of equipment that doesn’t change regardless of what you equip in the other world, I could be wrong on this, I haven’t tried much to confirm it)
My theory on this…
This isn’t the first time Kris has dealt with this problem, the cage and wagon, the lack of decoration on their side of the room, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kris has been possessed for much longer periods of time than just one day. (I say possessed because they clearly owned the save point before this soul took it) And that they keep this knife on them for all the times they’ve had to exterminate these souls… (I think the fact we can return to a previous save point is just a point of the first chapter/demo)
Little stories of things they’ve done in the past bother me, Susieis the first one to claim Kris as one of those quiet kids (During possession)Toriel saying they rarely get up on time or at all, Asriel even had to carrythem to school some days but even so… They liked pulling various pranks on theneighbours, crawled under Noelles bed to scare them, put a bath bomb in thetoilet, covered themselves in ketchup and claimed it was blood… Where’s theprankster in deltarune? Did I miss it? Kris still fits the quiet personality atfirst by Susie, but as you talk with other characters around town they talkabout how DIFFERENT Kris is from normal, Notably, you can choose to tell sansthat it’s good to see him again, despite not meeting him before (This could be ajoke though, it’s hard to tell going by the other topics you can talk to himabout) The current soul possessing Kris cannot play the piano. Willingly talks to others, gets upset overchocolate with Asriel… At what point am I supposed to believe these feelingsare actually Kris and which ones are the soul possessing them??
It truly makes me wonder who this child is, sure you can say thatKris likes chocolate, that they are quiet, they are pranksters… but are they?
My Theory is that Kris has long since lost their identity, they’vebeen possessed enough times that facing another day is gruesome because someonehas done something that they didn’t want or taken a memorable moment from them(Like making friends or enjoying chocolate with their brother) Which also ties into why their room is so blank, why earnanything? Or keep something earned by someone else in your body? (or it couldbe severe neglect… WILL SOMEONE FEED THIS CHILD?)
This is all purely speculation and I’m sure others have hadsimilar thoughts, I’ve not been able to read or watch any theories about thegame because well…. Been busy with all the animation stuff
I’m not expecting to be right on ANY ofthis, I’ve ummed and ahhed over a lot of smaller theories before coming to thisone and sticking to it for now but there’s not enough game to get a good handleon it…

Chara model: Finished in December (Slight fixup in January) 100% doneÂ
Asriel: Made shortly after Chara model. 100% done
Frisk: Made after both, made some discoveries working on this one and had to fix the other two 100% done
Flowey: Started in February, He’s turning out much better than his previous model but I miss some aspects of it. 100% done
Papyrus: Started late February, Date included. 100%
Toriel: Early March I already forgot when 100%
Napstablook: 1 hour in Early march 100%Â
Undyne: Late march 100%
Undyne: (Armoured version, murder included) Done the same week 100%
Mettaton: (Box Version) Early April 100% Ready for Dance, News and MURDER
Alphys: 10% On hold because mood
Mettaton: (Anime version) 100% FABULOUS! Ready to appear for 5x less than the box version

Had a bit of a break, just a side project mostly and wasted a lot of time on it. Back to work on this fun stuff!! (Sorry for the delay to anybody waiting for updates on this)

YEAH!! I’ve been so quiet because working on animating! I’ve been thinking of doing a generic post that I’ll update on progress just so people know what the progress has been like, or a larger post showing the developments over time (A LOT)
Not sure yet of course, will think about it! Will probs be a better idea in the future when I have even more to show... I already have a lot but I’m in the process of redoing models again cause I’m still learning. It’s crazy!

did you ever make a comic that focused around papyrus and sans, but papyrus was gaster? i recently got back into undertale (then again, who hasn't) and i swear i remember one in your art style :P
YES! That was Forgettable! (Tem!Frisk and I have been debating on what Papyrus will be wearing of course or his personality) There’s of course a lot of other stories we did too! We only recent wrapped up our most recent one and moving on to other projects!

This seems to hold up in an interesting manner! I spent ages constantly redoing the opening/creation to figure out how to activate the different saves. You always overwrite Kris’ save on your first run. (From what I could find, I could not find any other way than erasing my saves to return the save file to Kris.)
Once you beat the game, every run after that the save file will be empty...Â
Dusty Theory: (SPOILERS DUH)
This might mean that we are definitely destroyed at the end of Delta Rune. Any subsequent play through resets the timeline and so when we save on the empty file, we are saving over the previously dead soul... Which Kris has not been given the opportunity to overwrite it because they’re stuck in a kind of loop
Which is fascinating! Because I can’t help but think how many times this has happened to Kris already, the cage in the corner, The stain on the floor right next to the cage and wagon... How everyone reacts to Kris oddly, MANY stating how Kris is acting differently than normal.Â
(Spoilers!!! Do not read this if you have not played Deltarune yet!!!)
About Deltarune’s ending
I don’t think that was Chara ripping out and imprisoning the soul.
I think that was Kris.
The real Kris.
Think about it: The game constantly gives hints that Kris is either controlled or possessed by the player.
The first time you save, you override another save file that has Kris’s name on it. That name is then replaced with the name you gave yourself (the player, not the discarded vessel) at the very beginning.
After you exit the dark world and talk to the other characters, a lot of them comment that Kris seems different and we even get a small glimpse at their personality pre-Deltarune.
And it seems like Kris wasn’t a very nice person.
They were quiet, withdrawn and known for playing pretty mean pranks on the other kids, as well as the adults (tricking Noelle into thinking they were bleeding heavily by covering their arms in ketchup, repeatedly throwing bath bombs into the toilet and flooding the bathroom).
What if that ending was essentially Kris literally ripping us, the player, out of their body so they can have control again?
Why, you ask?
To get their SAVE point back.
The first Save point establishes that Kris is aware of the save points and probably even used them already, though they weren’t aware of their true potential and didn’t call them save points. To them, they were simply “the strange light that only [they] can see”,
Until we came along.
Thanks to us taking that power away from them for a short time, Kris had the chance to observe how it might be used.
Save points can be used to fix yourself in and go back to a certain point in time. A power like that has many uses.
You could play a prank and simply go back when it goes bad for you.
You can cheat your way through life, manipulating people into doing whatever you want.
You can even come back from death.
And if that smile, as well as that knife are anything to go on, Kris now has quite a few ideas on how to use that “light”.

Delta Rune Naming
These are no where near all the secret text but just the main ones that most people will get
If you name your creation “Kris” You get this text, you also get this for a large amount of UT names (I haven’t tested all of them but so far most haven’t caused a different reaction)
If you name both the creation and the creator the same name (regardless of what it is but I used Kris for this example) I love this one, it’s so funny and snarky
THIS is if you name only the creator Kris. Very, very wonderful indeed. I find this interesting considering what happens... Edit: Happens when you name the creator Susie too, might be others as well but can’t check right now

Minor spoilers for Delta Rune, please play the game before looking at this stuff, although minor, the game is short and free
1: TORIEL IS WEARING THE HEART LOCKET
This has been driving me nuts, I’ve not even seen anyone mention it yet but it’s bothering me...
2: Kris’ stats in the overworld (Different from the Darkner world) I like that the bandage makes a reappearance. (I just can’t help but feel this is alternate Frisk, which is awesome) Kris is also carrying a ball of junk that they are attached to... it’s very cute and sad if YOU DROP IT. I don’t appear to have the ball of junk at the start of the game... interesting
2.1: Pencil changed to normal on new file... might be because the original screenshots were from Halloween! Very fun detail (Edit: turns out it depends what weapon you have equipped, even better)
3: AND WHY IS THIS DELTA RUNE THE WRONG WAY AROUND??? I thought there was going to be a theme literally around why the bottom is upside down but nope!! It’s the only one in game so far that I’ve noticed (I hope someone finds other ones, altho I will definitely be looking again)
4: Kris looks more like Frisk than Chara but has existed just as long as both. Kris is almost Frisk just shuffled, so I’m on the boat that this is alternate Frisk.. Wears a green shirt because well, So did Asriel and Chara!
I don’t think Chara plays any specific role in this game- If anything, oddly enough... I feel like they play the narrator again, the narrator knew nothing about this world and commented on things like they didn’t know... Unlike Undertale where they learnt and talked about things they knew... This was like coming in fresh. I doubt this will be the case but I couldn’t unsee the familiar talking points (But that could be just cause, same writer lmao) but also the moment where you can ask Undyne about Alphys... That is only something someone from UT would ask because they don’t even know each other in this world... Isn’t that odd?
5: I love this game a lot. It’s very cool AND FREE
