FUCK this "crutchie depends on jack, jack protects crutchie" bs. give me the most ridiculously codependent friendship ever. they've lived together for years and don't know how to function without eachother. jack will sleep through the morning bell if crutchie isn't there to wake him up. jack always helps massage the pain out of crutchie's leg on bad days without him even having to ask. crutchie is there to help jack when he gets bad nightmares. they always make sure the other remembers to eat. give me unspoken favors and daily traditions. they can't live without EACHOTHER.
UNBEKNOWNST TO HER, their residences were within close vicinity of each other. A quaint revelation, no doubt. It made the road traveled less weary during these odd hours, and turned his company into a rare commodity. Glazing over the number ‘224′ scrawled onto heavy oak, her knuckles rap gently against it in eager anticipation. Only the ambient echoes of 3 A.M’s twilight answer her, but sure enough, the sound of footsteps eventually near. As promised, she’s arrived punctually. “Fine tidings to you,” she greets, easing into his threshold with a leash in hand.
“I hope you do not mind the addition of a guest. I’ve not seen my roofmate in some time, so my thoughts were not at ease leaving him alone.” He had a rather furry disposition and peaked in height at a foot tall, with a smile that nearly appeared etched on. “My corgi, Sir Gawain.”
Propbuilding learning curves are steep. I made this scythe twice and the second time it felt so much easier. I loved using roofmate as a base since it wasn’t as hard to work with as I feared it would be. Especially the round parts were so much fun to sand down.
Bringing this prop to Japan sure was a challenge all on its own...
