It's really good practice for you and when you become a doctor, because you have to be able to evaluate what it is your patient is feeling and understand it in smart doctor-terms, then you have to be able to dumb it down to a level that the patient will be able to understand

Luckily you're a quick learner and pick up on how to explain whatever it is that Baji doesn't understand in a way that he will

Be patient, he's really trying his best

It's something about the way that you remain calm and keep coming up with new ways to explain things to him which really helps him to keep a level head

He can get really stressed about his grades but your constantly calm and positive attitude really helps him out

And you would yell at him over the phone about how you warned him not to wear it overnight

And he would yell back that you didn't tell him this was going to happen and that he thought you were joking

You both look like maniacs to the other people on the streets screeching into your phones about braids and hair - especially Baji

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT, I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN!"

"NO YOU DIDN'T!"

"YES I DID!"

"WHEN?!"

"I SAID 'Make sure you don't leave that in over night Baji.' AND YOU SAID 'Sure thing y/n!"

"I REMEMBER THAT!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE IT HAPPENED!"

"YEAH, BUT I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST JOKING!"

"WAS IT FUNNY?! WAS I LAUGHING?!"

"WELL IT ISN'T ANYMORE!"

Then Chifuyu, who's walking with Baji and sick of hearing you two yell would butt in,

"Guys,"

"WHAT!!" You both simultaneously yell.

"Sorry Chifuyu.." You quickly slip in afterwards and Baji mumbles an apology afterwards as well.

"It's fine, look, it doesn't matter who's fault it is, all we can do now is try to fix it."

You realise Chifuyu's right, so you ask Baji what he's done to try and fix the situation so far, figuring that you could bring a straightener or put it in a design or smth

"Oh, well I just finished brushing it, but that didn't seem to help."

"YOU BRUSHED IT!"

"THAT'S WHAT I SAID!"

"ARE YOU AN IDIOT?!"

"APPARENTLY!"

So that's how you ended up spending that morning

Needless to say, from that day forward, whenever you braided his hair, he made sure to take it out after only an hour each time just to make sure, even when you assured him it was fine

"That's how I ended up in the situation to begin with."

"HUH???"

Cue another argument

He's still salty and will never get over it

Would go shopping with you but totally end up getting you kicked out no matter where you go

You're lucky you haven't been arrested yet

The boys have decided to keep a running tally of the amount of times that you've had to fix them up

Baji is loosing

Or, as he likes to look at it, winning by a mile

He is currently the MOST frequent of your patients

Just, every other day he wanders in covered in some injury or another, sometimes leaning on or being dragged in by Chifuyu, but with the most shit eating grin on his face like,

"You will not be able to believe what I just did."

And you stand there like,

"Yeah, I think I can."

So he sits down and gives you the most animated story of your life about some dude that got on his bad side

Or a snake he thought would make a fun pet

Or that car that was just begging to be set on fire and you're like

"Huh, sue Baji. I'm sure that's exactly the correct way to approach that situation... moron."

And he's all enthusiastic about his story

Then you gently turn his face towards yours to begin patching him up and he is complete putty in your hands

just,

the gentle touches

the dabbing of the cleaning cloth

the way your face scrunches in concentration

the softly whispered words of comfort

the way you wince every time you slip the needle into his skin, as if you can feel the pain rather than him

how you always tell him what you're going to do before you do it, so that he's prepared, so that it doesn't hurt as bad

his energy slowly dies down until he has is eyelids half closed

world only filled with your careful touch

just- urgh

give this man some soft attention

he really needs it

Pre-S5 Adora Canonically Moved on From Catra and Showed Us That She Could Have Lived a Happy Life Without Her. Here’s the Evidence...

So after making this Glimmadora post, I started thinking more about the Beast Island episode (toward the very end of S4). This one particular scene really stuck with me:

As we see here, Adora and her allies have essentially lost to the deadly threats of Beast Island (without Adora becoming She-Ra, that is), and are on now all on the verge of dying... However, RIGHT before Adora turns into She-Ra, we see a sequence of important thoughts to her: * Her promise to Angella to watch Glimmer * Good moments with her friends (Bow and the other princesses) * Glimmer in general At first, I was mostly paying attention to the fact that it seemed like Adora’s core thoughts were mostly of Gimmer (this particular scene was actually what inspired me to make the “10 Reasons Why Glimmadora Would Have Made More Sense Becoming Canon” post, as well as other Glimmadora analysis posts that I’ve read). Then I noticed something ELSE that hit me like a bolt of lightning... Something that shocked me so much, I had to rewatch the scene at least a few times to make sure I wasn’t missing anything...

Out of all of Adora’s memories/thoughts that we saw, not a single one of them was of Catra (or even her time at the Horde). There’s absolutely no way if you were dying your: * childhood best friend (who was your best friend until relatively recently) * current arch enemy, who physically and emotionally hurt you a lot * “sister” who you shared the same parental figure with (I know there’s a big debate about this, but just bare with me) * potential(?) love interest * (whatever else Catra was at this point) WOULD NOT be one of your final thoughts... Whether you currently love them, hate them, or feel confused about how you feel about them, there would still be some form of strong emotions toward that person - which would make it impossible not to have at least one memory/thought about them in what you believe is going to be your final moment of life. So it is completely reasonable to conclude at this point in the series...

That pre-S5 Adora canonically moved on from Catra. PRE-S5 ADORA CANONICALLY MOVED ON FROM CATRA. LET THAT SINK IN... Adora would have canonically been able to live a happy life if Catra was never redeemed and/or permanently out of her life... Adora’s words before becoming She-Ra in this scene were: “I won’t give up! Not on my friends! Not on Etheria! Not on myself!” Unless Catra was included in her “friends” she was referring to, Catra wasn’t mentioned or even thought about in this crucial moment... The creators have told us that C//A was planned from the beginning. You would THINK then, that Adora would have had at least one thought in such a crucial moment. You would think there would have been one form of foreshadowing in this moment. “Hey since this is going to be the canon ship, let’s show that even though Adora and Catra haven’t interacted much this season. Let’s throw in one thought in there (whether it’s a good or bad thought) to show that Catra is at least still on Adora’s mind. Whether it’s in a good way or bad way.”

The creators have told us that C//A was planned from the beginning, yet this evidence in S4 has shown us a complete opposite message. We see messages between S5 and all the other seasons that contradict each other. For example, in S5 when Catra says: “You’ve never given up on anyone! Not even me...” While Adora did (obviously) forgive Catra in S5. Adora had already given up on Catra before. This scene being in S3 when Adora tells Catra: “You made your choice. Now live with it!” This was a powerful quote that Adora showed us that she had enough of Catra. So, how does Adora go from not even thinking about Catra in what she believes to be her final moment of life (S4), to Catra becoming her #1 priority less than 6 episodes later? Whether you support C//A or not, does anyone have any answers to these two golden questions for me?

1) Why did Adora not have a single thought about Catra while she was on the verge of dying? 2) How is it possible to deny that she moved on at this point? (even if her and Catra barely interacted with each other in S4)

B I O G R A P H Y

Gabriela grew up just outside of Chicago as a part of a big family. Her immediate family consisted of her father Ramon, her mother Camila, and her older brother Antonio. However, there always seemed to be relatives around throughout their childhoods. Gabby loved the feeling of being apart of a large family, and she has inadvertently looked for that throughout her life.

Gabby was always a caring person, but it was her passion that really made her shine. Whatever she did, she threw herself into it, often head first. Gabby was far from perfect. But when someone told her she couldn't do something? Well, that just made her want to prove them wrong. Anyone telling her she couldn’t made her want to do it even more.

But above all, Gabby lived to help people. Before she even realized what she wanted to do, there were hints that she wanted to save people. Even as a kid, Gabby would use her toys to act out scenes and scenarios where she could come in to save the day. There was a certain rush, being the hero, but there was even more of an overwhelming feeling having saved someone. Even if it only was her Mr. Potato Head.

Gabby was smart, but she didn’t feel like school was the best fit for her. She would rather get to work instead of sitting in a classroom. After considering a coupe potential options for her future, Gabby decided on becoming a paramedic. It combined everything she was looking for--the fast-paced environment, the ability to help people, and her very own community of people to lean on and learn from.

C U R R E N T L Y

Gabby has been at Firehouse 51 for a couple of years now, and she can't imagine being anywhere else. The folks at the firehouse have become her family, for better or worse. As much as they get on her nerves from time to time, Gabby can't imagine leaving her people at 51.

As Paramedic in Charge of Ambulance 61, Gabby often butts heads with higher ups over what's right and wrong. She's not exactly a traditionalist when it comes to following policy and procedure. Sure she tries, but if it comes down to it, Gabby will always defend what's right for her patient over a need to adhere to pointless bureaucracy.

hi! i saw that you opened your requests, so can i ask for some bruno gang hcs with foreign s/o (and her native language is some slavic shit, east-european fellow here), who loves to use pet names (but never tells their meaning) and when she's really pissed she slips onto her native language. like imagine her beating the fuck out of the enemy and roasting them on polish/chezh/ukrainian/etc. perfect.

Eastern european gang gang jsrgjj I’m not slav tho👀👀

Bruno:

- Most likely knows some foreign languages himself and would often be asking s/o to teach him words in her own language. Even if it’s curse words he basically wants to know as much as possible about her native language.

- First time she went all ham when beating up an enemy he had to pause whatever he was doing just to...admire the sight. There she was, aggresively yeeting an enemy while screaming thousands of foreign curses.

- After she calmed down and that unfortunate person was defeated, Bruno just had to let her know how badass she was back there. S/o just blushed and waved him off but really, he had developed some kind of weakness for her speaking (or just screaming) in her native language. As if the mysterious pet names weren’t enough already.

Giorno:

- Loves learning in general, especially when it comes to foreign languages. S/o being foreign only sweetened the deal for him because this boi would basically - turn her into his very own languages teacher.

- Doesn’t pressure her into telling him what those pet names actually mean but fuck if he doesn’t get even more intrigued each time she throws yet another one in his direction then when he’s visibly confused she just tells him that “it’s a secret”.

- And honestly?? He’s all for her angrily beating up enemies while cussing her ass off in her native language. He too tends to get VERY into beating up his enemies (7 P A G E M U D A) so it would TRULY be a sight to behold for him.

Abbacchio:

- Doesn’t know jack shit about foreign languages and is very overwhelmed by s/o throwing unknown words around. He would get mildly annoyed by her not telling him the meaning of the pet names since he just N E E D S to know.

- The more he pressures her she keeps denying him of the knowledge and he eventually just gives up and lets her do her thing. Yet sometimes he can’t help himself but blush at her pet words even tho he doesn’t know what they mean. He just figures it out from her cheeky glare anyway.

- And when he first witnessed her go ballistic in her native language he was S H O O K to say the least. He just stood there and watched her as a small blush crept up his cheeks in that moment. Oh F R I C C he really had a thing for her scream angrily in her mother tongue.

Mista:

- Is literally clueless about foreign languages and keeps pressuring s/o to tell him what the enigmatic pet words mean. Like for real me mans would be clinging to -her and whining that he just HAS to know what they mean or else he’ll die.

- Like the fact that his s/o is saying loving words to him and he doesn’t understand them? THEN SHE REFUSES TO TELL HIM THE MEANING OF THEM TOO???? T O R T U R E. But watch him get all excited once he sees her beat up enemies while swearing in her native language. He never knew that he had a thing for this so he now has yet another reason to annoy s/o into just telling him about the pet words.

Fugo:

- Oh but you bet your ass that he knows like 96409348 foreign languages and he pleasantly surprised s/o when he first replied to her in her mother tongue. These two would be having convos in her language while the rest of the gang would be like ???

- ALWAYS flusters s/o back since he understands almost all of the pet names. But if by chance there’s any pet name that he doesn’t know and s/o tries hiding the true meaning of it, expect him to be sneaky and do some further research.

- Basically, s/o would be glad that someone actually understood her language and Fugo would just have an excuse to learn more about her mother tongue. He especially loves when she kicks ass while swearing too, he totally gets her rage and would be cheering her on as she’s tearing through enemies. Literal power couple y a l l.

Narancia:

- Is overwhelmed as fuck when he first hears s/o speaking in her native language, let alone when she actually calls him foreign pet names. Similar to Mista he’d basically cling onto her and beg her to just tell him what they mean already.

- Watch him cheer her on as she kicks ass and swears like a sailor in her mother tongue. He doesn’t understand jack shit yet her tone and aggresiveness gets him hyped af as he screams for her to punch that motherfucker harder.

- At some point s/o would become his teacher and unlike Fugo she’d be patient and try to teach him more words in her language. The two would be able to exchange some short convos in no time and Bruno would feel proud as all fuck of his son.

✦ ▓ AND WHO GOES THERE? oh, it’s just [ EDRIC STORM ]. some say [ HIS ] resemblance to [ TOMMY MARTINEZ ] is almost uncanny, but the [ TWENTY-SIX ] year old has been in the capital for [ HIS ENTIRE LIFE ]. many suspect that they are the notorious [ ASSOCIATE ] of the [ BARATHEON ] family: perhaps that has made them [ COMPETITIVE ] && [ DEFIANT ] of late, when they used to be so [ AFFABLE ] && [ CAREFREE ]. during the daylight hours, [ EDRIC ] can be found working as a [ CAR RESTORER ], but when night falls over king’s landing, they are best remembered listening to [ WRONG MAN BY MATT CORBY ]. may the gods be with them in these dark streets.

H I S T O R Y ;

Growing up with the knowledge that neither of your parents want you is to be born with a chip on your shoulder. A chip that despite all the attempts of sanding away by the hands of Renly and Stannis, still blemishes the marbled statue of Edric to this day.

Edric was born out of a night of wine and lust between his father Robert Baratheon and mother Delena Florent. Robert was married, Delena engaged. Robert’s relationship with his wife was already fractured beyond repair, but she refused to have the living, breathing reminder of his constant habit of straying in her house. And Delena, just on the verge of her own happy ending, soon to be married to a Norcross, didn’t want to constantly remind Hosman of the mistake he had only barely forgiven her for. If not for Stannis and his utter loyalty to blood, Edric would have most likely ended up in the system, a boy to be passed around from foster family to foster family until eventually aging out. Often times Edric finds himself wondering what his life would have been like, if Stannis hadn’t been such a staunchly honorable man.

But those thoughts, and the feelings that come with them are quickly crushed when he remembers on the way he did end up growing up. Stannis was the closest thing to a father figure, and despite Renly’s constant degradation of the man and his personality, Edric always has and will appreciate what he did for him. Sure, he may not be the most fun person to be around, nor was he one to hand out hugs and read bed time stories to the boys, but he did what he had to do to keep things going, and that’s what counts.

Edric also had Renly. He always feels odd calling the man ‘my uncle, Renly’, as the man has always been more like a brother to him than anything else. The two only 6 years apart, kept them close. Of course, when Renly was a teenager and Edric still a child the two drifted, but Renly was still always around to provide the love and care that Stannis simply could not. But as the two grew older, and Renly began to join the ranks of the family ‘business’ as the Baratheon name (a name Edric refused to use, despite being told it was his right if he so chose), and Edric turned down one of his own, the two remained close. To this day, Renly is the only person Edric would do anything for.

As a teenager, he often tried to go out of his way to soil his father’s name: getting arrested, kicked out of the schools he was sent to, setting up illegal street races (okay, fine, he still does this, but now it’s only because he has a taste for speed), but he realized that his refusal of the Baratheon name also meant that his actions simply fell on deaf ears. His actions were those of a bastard.

But as Edric has grown, the chip on his shoulder has as well, turning into fractures that run towards his heart. Despite his love for Renly and appreciation for Stannis, he hates the Baratheon name, namely due to his father wearing it. He may be an associate for the Baratheon family, passing along secrets he hears and helping when needed, but he does that only for Renly and Stannis, and not for the benefit of the Baratheon name.

For the most part, Edric stays out of the family business by choice. His hands aren’t clean by any means, but the stains on them tend to be grease rather than blood. Mostly. His garage is his so-called safe space, a space that is for the most part free of politics. Of course he services members of other syndicates, restoring or finding beautiful vintage cars for them to have as status symbols. And yes, if he hears anything that can be passed along to Renly, he does so. Sure, once or twice he’s been asked to slip something illegal into a car only to be ‘found’ a week later by the cops. But for the most part, the garage is exactly what it looks like.

P E R S O N A L I T Y ;

There is only one person that can tell Edric what to do, and that’s Stannis, which is borne purely out of respect for the man. But, even then his sway only reaches so far, as now that Edric’s full grown, he has his own ideas on things. Renly can ask things of Edric and he’ll most likely do them, but mostly because the man knows Edric, and knows if he were to attempt to ‘command’ him to do anything, it would result in that task not only not being done, but with Edric probably going out of his way to do the opposite. To say that Edric has an issue with authority probably would be an understatement. It stems both from an inherent need to piss off his father, and from a fairly young age being able to do whatever he wanted. He was fortunate to be a boat on the rising tide of the name Baratheon, but he was not tied to them the same way Renly or Stannis were, he had choices on what he wanted to become or do.

But even with this rebellious, defiant streak in the man, he is an easy going guy. He may not carry the love of excess like some other members of his family have, but he does love to have fun. That could be hanging out at the Red Keep with beers in hand, or racing his growing collection of vintage cars, or doing any number of things. But overall he is fairly easy to get along with. His lack of involvement in syndicate politics allows him to socialize with whoever he chooses, loving or hating them not for their loyalties but for who they are.

But overall he is a romantic and has an addictive personality, and has a tendency to fall fast and hard for people who usually aren’t the best for him. He craves a life of deep meaning, and tends to fall for artistic, poetic types. He wants to be the muser and the muse, he wants to know what consumes people, wants to be consumed himself.

OLD FRIENDS/RIDE OR DIE; The first half or so decade of his life was during a time when Baratheon didn’t mean much to anyone, and the friends he made during this time would have been those of the playground variety, but would have also been completely true. I would love for him to have a friend that, 20 years later is still a staple in his life. Due to his overall lack of participation in the syndicate, this person could be from any family or a civilian.

PAST LOVES; As mentioned previously, Edric tends to specialize in passionate, destructive type romances. The type where you’re so deep in it, you didn’t realize that you were drowning in it until you’ve gotten out. LOVERS TO FRIENDS; Would love a friendship that was perhaps one of romance first, and while we could go casual romance to friends, I think a deep, true love that had to end but the two still wanted the other in their life, even as friends would be *chef’s kiss*. ENEMIES; Edric is a very easy guy to get along with, doesn’t pay attention to family lines, and generally doesn’t like conflict because it ruins the vibe (VIBE CHECK!!), so something would have had to go seriously wrong between these two for Edric to consider them an enemy. Open to any and all.

CUSTOMERS; A fairly nondescript and easy going connection, just a way to have them know each other, simply someone who is also a lover of vintage cars, just like Edric, and has bought some of his restored cars, or had him restore one of their own.

+ adaptable, protective, and caring - stubborn, arrogant, and impatient

this girl is always ready for anything! no matter the situation, she knows how to work her way around it and make it work in her favour. moving around so much as a child, the girl HAD TO learn to adapt, she wouldn’t have survived if she didn’t. there were some pretty terrible homes but she always made it through. but being in those homes and seeing how certain people where treated, the little witch became super protective of them. she was always on guard and would do whatever she could to help someone in need. even if it was taking the blame for something they did. she always endured it so they didn’t have to. there would be times when she was offered a way out. older kids running away and willing to take her with them, but she was too stubborn. she wouldn’t budge, she’d stay to look out for the other kids.

over the years, she’d teach herself magic and while there was obviously things she needed to learn, she was actually pretty decent considering. she was powerful. and that in turn made her a little arrogant, she tried not to be but sometimes she couldn’t help. she was proud of herself and no one else would be.... so eventually that proud feeling just turned into arrogance. once she started learning more, she really couldn’t wait. she knew she could do it all, she had the power for it, but not the knowledge. it became a bit of a problem. she was too impatient, needed to learn everything and anything. she had been on her own for so long, she didn’t know how to do things on other’s time.

her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop with just magic, she really did want to know everything. you never know when you might need the information. when it might be useful to someone in need. helping people is just something she did. sure there are times she’s a bit standoffish, but more often than not, she is going out of her way to help. she can be a little blunt, but she only has people’s best interest in mind... to her, it’s not her fault if someone can’t handle it.

001. seraphina marie blackwell comes from lillian’s bloodline. though she was very unaware of that fact for the longest time. see, her birth parents gave her up right after she was born–-- she has spent her whole life thinking they didn’t want her. but the truth is, while she was never planned, the gave up their life to create a hunter. it was a vow they made long before seraphina was conceived. so even if they did want her, they couldn’t keep her.

002. she was meant to be given to some friends of their, but two weeks into her living there, they were killed and she was left to go into the system. anytime someone tried to adopt her, her powers went out of control, leaving her to be left behind. when she was a little older, they put her in a foster home. but those never lasted and she spent her childhood moving from home to home. the blackwell witch hated it, but she did met plenty of other kids and formed some pretty deep connections. mainly with other witches and wolves. unaware that she did indeed have a special bond with wolves. see, it was her great, great, great, great (etc.) grandmother, lillian who casted the spell that created wolves... and it was her job, as part of that bloodline, to look after wolves. no matter where she went, she always had some type of connection with a wolf and she always helped where she could. whether it meant helping them personally or helping someone stay protected from them. it all depended on the wolf.

003. when she was sixteen she was adopted into a family of wolves. she wasn’t the only one that felt the connections, wolves did as well, these wolves just felt a connection that made them wish to help her. she got lucky this time because she has had to deal with wolves who’ve felt the need to kill her. but that’s beside the point... this family of wolves took her in and welcomed her. introduced her to some witches who could really help. from then own, the girl went from having no family to having two. the family of wolves and the aurora coven of witches..

004. due to her bloodline, it is no surprise that the blackwell girl drew her power from the moon. she really got lucky that her parents, after they adopted her, introduced her to the right coven. within the coven she learn more magic than she had only be able to teach herself and she also happened to learn about her biological parents and her bloodline. it surprised her and broke her heart. . . but she loved her family. she wouldn’t trade them in for the world.

005. despite living in northknot her entire childhood, she did take a year to herself and traveled. ended up meeting witches from all over who weren’t ready to go to northknot yet. she also met more wolves and managed to convince the rouge ones to travel to northknot and possibly join a pack. during this year she faced challenges that, while left her scared, really helped her with her power. she really got to become the best version of herself.

006. after her year was up, she moved back, this time into a place of her own, though she still talks to her parents everyday. her brothers lived with her for a couple of years too but ended up wanted to do their own thing. during this time since being back, she went to the uni, finished uni, and even became a manager at her job in the autoshop. fixing cars and bikes and such is something she was always kind of good at. she was always super into cars when she was younger. had even got in trouble a couple of times for street racing. she’s hoping her next step is to either become part owner of the shop or buy her own shop.

007. NOW: she is still working as a manager at the autoshop. still lives in her house, got new roommates since her brothers moved out... still calls her dad everyday (her mum was killed by some rogue vampire who was just travelling through).

C O N N E C T I O N S

ADOPTED BROTHERS. they can be the bio kids to their parents or adopted like she was. but they are both werewolves. she completely adores her brothers and used to get into a lot of mischief with them. probably still does.

BEST FRIEND. her person. this person is her ride or die. the person she’d be able to go to if she had to hide a body. due to her bond with witches and wolves, i think it’s be a bit more fun if her best friend was someone of a different species but i am open to anything. male/female/non-ninary, it doesn’t matter. just give this girl a best friend.

CHILDHOOD FRIEND. someone she met in one of the many foster homes she got stuck in. even if they didn’t always end up in the same house, they stayed friends. they met in a really bad house and just ended up having each other’s backs and it was just a bond that couldn’t be broken. i imagine they got into trouble a lot and had to be separated. EX (WEREWOLF) BOYFRIEND. the same way she feels this connections to wolves, they feel something too. sometimes it’s a protection type connection, sometimes it’s just plain friendly, sometimes it’s even love... however, it’s not always a good connection and with this wolf, the connection wasn’t good. the two started dating BEFORE he triggered his ‘curse’ and everything was great. they LOVED each other. however, everything changed when he triggered his wolf gene. he couldn’t help it, couldn’t fight it at the time. so after a nasty fight, both managed to get away and haven’t seen each other since.

FWB. so while the saying is friends with benefits, they don’t actually need to be friends. they CAN BE, but it could also b fun to have an enemy with benefits type thing. they argue during the day and have their fun at night. just something to help relieve some stress ;)

ROOMMATES. two to three roommates. any species. they could have moved in because they were already friends with seraphina and needed a place. or maybe a coven mate. i would even take someone who responded to an add she posted and we can have this fun semi-awkward relationship between them because they don’t know each other as well but are trying to get to know each other better since they do live together. From the moment she was born it was easy to see that Olivia loved life, and it loved her right back. She was happy and curious as a child with what would later become her trademark bubbly personality on full display from an early age. With her father owning multiple resorts in tourist hotspots around the world, it was easy for her mother to pick up life as an English socialite. And as such, Olivia was thrust into the spotlight of high society early on as well. Luckily for her family though, she thrived in it. She loved the excitement of all the events and getting to go out and buy nice dresses and shoes for fancy dinners with her father’s business associates. It was especially beneficial for Olivia when a trip to the ballet with her mother’s friends at age 4 led to her discovering her great love in life.

After seeing how beautiful and graceful the dancers were, Olivia pestered her parents for weeks to let her take up dance lessons and they finally agreed, finding her the best studio and teacher in London. She didn’t know yet how to get up there, or what all it would take. But she was willing to do anything to earn her place up on the stage. Her mom was a dream dance mom. Never pushing her too hard, but always supporting her in her rehearsals. She comforted and took care of her when she fell during classes, gently encouraged her to keep going when she thought she wanted to quit, and cheered the loudest during every recital. She even dropped many of her social events from her calendar to take Olivia to rehearsals, seeing the potential and love her daughter had for ballet.

Of course Olivia loved her dad dearly as well, but she had to admit to having a softer spot for her mom. Her mom was her rock and biggest cheerleader in life. So when her mom got sick and passed when Olivia was 12, it felt like the rug had been pulled out from under her feet and it absolutely broke her. While her father had never necessarily been an absent one, he was noticeably more present for Olivia, taking up a partner in the resorts who could do most of the travelling so he could stay home with his daughter. And while that did help in her grieving process, both her and her father to this day will credit a large part of her healing to her dance teacher Ms. Ava. Ms. Ava refused to let her quit and would come pick her up for rehearsals, encouraging Olivia to keep dancing as a way to heal. Ballet became Olivia’s therapy and her love for it only deepened.

Four years after her mother passed though, her father made the decision to move them both to New York City where he would eventually meet the woman who would become Olivia’s stepmom. And while Olivia occasionally liked to think of herself as Cinderella, she was more than happy to skip out on the evil stepmother part. While she won’t call her mom, she likes her well enough. All she really cares about is her dad being happy.

While it had been disappointing to move from her old studio, and she missed Ms. Ava more than anything, Olivia found a way to continue to dance. Finding a new studio, she only stayed there for a year before she was recruited by a company. From ages 17 to 23, Olivia lived out her dream of being a ballet dancer, performing in multiple shows and even landing a few leading roles. She would have been more than happy to continue for the rest of her life. But her dream came crashing down the day that she did. During a long rehearsal her partner dropped her from a lift and she shattered her ankle. While she did recover from it after almost a year, she never regained the full strength to be the level of dancer she was before and had to make the difficult decision to quit the company. It broke her heart to lose the thing she loved most, and she needed a change of scenery. She ended up moving from New York to Chicago bouncing around between hotels and apartments as she tried to find a place to settle and something to do with her life now.

For awhile she thought she’d never dance again, but an opportunity to teach an intermediate ballet class came up and while Olivia knows she’ll never dance to her old abilities again, she knew she could at least dance well enough to teach. She gladly took the position and moved into the Malnati since it was one of the closest hotels to the studio and she’s been there and teaching for over a year now. She’s settled into life in Chicago and is slowly finding a semblance of the happiness she used to have again, even recently adding a baby ballet class to her schedule.

For the most part, Olivia is really friendly. She’s bubbly, fun-loving, and does her best to get along with just about everyone. Though she is also self-admittedly a little spoiled. She grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth and her career as a ballerina only made that worse turning her into somewhat of a perfectionist. While she’s tries her best to never be entitled or bratty about it, she will admit to having a high set of standards and not dealing well with those not being met.

She’s happy with how her life has turned out with Rhys and feels their relationship will only grow with them.

SFW Alphabet, Mihawk: A-Z

Reposting all of these together for convenience and to save space. Alphabet requests are still open, but remember, I don't accept requests to do the entire alphabet for someone all at once. You have to stick to the guidelines of 1 character per ask, and 5 letters per ask, and once I finish the alphabet for a character with requests like that, I will repost it all together.

A: Affection (How affectionate are they with a s/o?)

Mihawk is so soft when it comes to you, especially when he’s in the privacy of his own home. Gentle touches throughout the day, randomly walking up behind you so he can hold you for a bit, the frequent soft little kisses that he gives you- all ways that Mihawk likes to show you his affection.

B: Breath (What could their s/o do to take their breath away?)

Beauty and grace really take Mihawk’s breath away, and he has an uncanny ability of finding those things in everything that you do. From the way you stare off into the distance, to the way that you get dressed, to the way that you look while you sleep next to him, he can find beauty in all of it, and because of that, you don’t have to go out of your way to try to please him. Just do your thing and go about your day as you normally would, and you’ll end up leaving him in awe at several points.

C: Cuddling (Do they cuddle? If they do, how and when do they cuddle?)

Don’t be fooled by his appearance, he actually loves to cuddle with you (though he would never call it ‘cuddling’). He loves it when you curl up at his side while he reads a book or the newspaper, and on dark and rainy days, he’ll lie down and cuddle with you in bed as you both drift off for a nap.

D: Dream (What do they dream of doing with their s/o?)

This man really just wants to be left alone by the outside world. He wants to be able to relax inside of his castle, with nobody but you around to keep him company. No pirates, no World Government, no random freeloaders- nobody, just the two of you, minding your own business, living in peace and tranquility. It doesn’t seem like much to ask for, but given his track record, it apparently is for this poor man.

E: Effort (How much effort do they put into a relationship?)

Mihawk takes his relationship with you very seriously, so he puts a lot of effort into it. He’s very dedicated to you and your happiness, and he’d put his life on the line to keep you safe. You are always on his mind, and even when he has to go out on a voyage and leave you behind for a bit, he’ll be thinking of new ways to make you happy the entire time.

F: Fear (What do they do if their s/o is scared? How do they handle it?)

Your fear should fear Mihawk. He doesn’t mess around when it comes to you being afraid, no matter how silly your reason for being afraid may be. Nightmare? He’ll stay awake for the rest of night, holding you and rubbing your back to comfort you. A powerful enemy? They never had a chance against his blade. A spider? Never has an arachnid been so decimated. No matter what the cause of your fear is, Mihawk will be there for you, doing whatever it is that needs to be done to comfort you.

G: Gift (What type of gifts do they give their s/o? Do they want a gift in return?)

He tries to remember to get you at least one small gift every time that he has to leave for a voyage, but he also has a few rose bushes hidden around the outside of his castle, and he likes to give you a single rose from those bushes every so often. How he has kept those rose bushes alive and safe from the Humandrills, the world may never know. He doesn’t expect any gifts from you; he’s content that you have given him your heart and that you spend your valuable time with him.

H: Hugs (Do they hug their s/o? How often?)

They happen more frequently than you would think. Mihawk loves having physical contact with you, and his favorite way to hug you is by walking up behind you while you’re doing something and wrapping his arms around your waist. He’ll do that at least once a day, but if you want more hugs than that, just ask him. He relishes being able to hold you in his arms whenever he wants to, so he will never turn your request down.

I: Intimacy (How romantic are they? Do they have problems with intimacy?)

Everything that Mihawk does is filled with intimacy. He could swat a fly away from you, and he would still find a way to make it romantic. He has no issues with intimacy, and you’ll never be short on romantic gestures from him; from small gifts to candlelit dinners, to moonlit walks and poetic confessions of love, he’s got you covered.

J: Jealous (Do they get jealous? How do they act when jealous?)

It’s pretty hard to make him jealous, and god help the soul that tries to pursue you even though you’re with him. They’d have to have a serious death wish, trying to hit on the significant other of the World’s Greatest Swordsman, but they’ll surely tuck tail and run after receiving one of his icy glares.

K: Kiss (Are they a good kisser? Do they like to kiss? How often do they try to kiss you?)

The best kisser on the Grand Line (although Law could make a claim to that title, as well). His kisses are beyond passionate, and they are guaranteed to leave you breathless. They’re typically more drawn out and slow, and the softness of them will send chills down your spine. It’s a wonder how a man that can slice a ship in half with a single swing can be so gentle, but he is, and it’s really reflective of his love for you.

L: Love (When do they say they love you? How often do they say it? Do they prefer to say it or show it?)

It takes a minute for him to say it for the first time; he doesn’t want to give his heart to someone that isn’t as passionate about him as he is them, but once he knows for sure that you’re committed to him and that his love for you is mutual, he won’t hesitate to say it. He likes to say and show his love for you, just so there’s no room for doubt on any account, and he’ll tell you that he loves you several times a day, in the most reverent tone that you can think of.

M: Marriage (Do they want to get married? If so, what kind of ceremony?)

He’s a pirate, so he doesn’t really care about making your relationship official in a legal sense, but he will get you a ring so people know that you’re taken whenever he’s not around. He also wouldn’t mind having a private little ceremony between the two of you, where you both declare your love for each other and exchange rings, but it would just be the two of you.

N: Night Out (What type of dates do they like to go on? How often do they like to go on them?)

He’s a candlelit dinner kind of guy, but he also likes to take long walks through the woods with you when it’s dark outside and the moon is bright and full. There’s something about walking down a moonlit path that really gets to him, and he’ll be extremely romantic during and after these walks. He’ll give you one of the roses mentioned in the above section, and he’ll take you for a round of slow dancing after that. Whenever he’s at home and not out sailing, he’ll indulge you in these little dates as often as you want him to.

O: Out of the Ordinary (What’s something they don’t normally do with/for their s/o?)

He won’t make a fool out of himself for anybody, including you. He loves you to death, but he’s worked really damn hard to maintain his ‘take no bullshit’ reputation, and he won’t jeopardize that, for your sake and his. Lord forbid somebody see him do something silly and then think that he’s had a change of heart so they can bother him all they want to now. That’s a thought that makes him shudder, and he won’t even come close to letting it become a reality.

P: Playful (Are they playful in a relationship? If so, how do they play around/mess with their s/o?)

At first glance you wouldn’t think that he’d be a very playful lover, but he has his moments. He has no qualms with sneaking up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist as he plants light and ticklish kisses against your neck.

Q: Questions (Do they ask their s/o their opinion on things? Do they share theirs?)

He respects your opinion, and he’s not shy about outrightly asking you what your thoughts on something are. If you’re a little more reserved with your opinion, though, he won’t be so forward in asking you, and instead he’ll tiptoe around it, in the hopes of encouraging you to freely offer your opinions to him. He knows he can be a bit intimidating, but he doesn’t want you to be skittish of being open with him. He, of course, is also not averse to sharing his opinions with you, though he’s careful not to give them when they are unwanted.

R: Random (How spontaneous is their relationship? Do they do things on the spot or plan ahead?)

He may seem spontaneous to you, but that’s just because he likes to keep his plans to himself, just in case something happens and he can’t go through with them. He’s very organized, though, so ever little dinner that he has with you, every walk that he takes you on, every time that he reads to you- all of it is planned to some extent. The slow dancing is the only thing that he doesn’t really plan for; that just sort of happens whenever he’s overtaken with the need to romance you.

S: Sleep (How do they sleep with their s/o?)

He usually sleeps on his back, so he likes it when you curl up at his side. Not only does that give him plenty of physical contact with you, but it also gives him the opportunity to wrap his arm protectively around you as you sleep, and he also likes to lightly stroke your shoulders and back as you fall asleep.

T: Trust (How much do they trust their s/o?)

He trusts you to be around him on a daily basis, and that says a lot when it comes to Mihawk. He is far from sociable, so you know that he isn’t going to spend time with someone unless he legitimately cares for them, and to willingly be around you all day, every day truly speaks volumes for the love and trust that he has for you.

U: Unique (What makes them unique as a s/o?)

…Have you seen him? Those smoldering eyes, the undeniable gothic and vampiric aesthetic, the giant ornate sword, the fact that he’s currently the world’s greatest swordsman- those are just a few of the things that make Mihawk unique as a lover. If you want to get a little deeper than that, then something that makes him unique as a significant other is how patient he is with you. He’s a pretty patient person in general, but with you, he kicks it up a notch. You could go out of your way to try to annoy him, but your efforts will be fruitless. He will never lose his temper with you, and that is something that will never change.

V: Vulnerable (How long until they can be vulnerable around their s/o? What are they like in this state?)

He’s good at working through things on his own, so he never really has to be vulnerable with you. He’s still human, though, and when something is bothering him, he tends to bottle it up for a bit until something happens that causes you to be vulnerable with him. In that situation, he’ll bring you to the bedroom so the two of you can lie down and hold onto each other for comfort. He really only opens up on a deep emotional level when the two of you can be vulnerable together; it may not be the most optimal way of doing things, but it’s what his pride will allow for, so take what you can get.

W: Wild Card (Random headcanon)

Mihawk really loves to read to you. He knows that he has a great voice for it, and if you ever have a hard time sleeping at night, he’ll stay up for a bit and read to you, hoping that his soothing voice will lull you to sleep. He wouldn’t mind it if you read to him, as well, with you sitting on the bed while he lays his head on your lap. He’ll doze off for a bit, but he also loves to look up at your face as you become captivated by what you’re reading.

X: X-Ray (What would they do if their s/o got injured?)

Beyond cutting whatever it was that hurt you in half, he’d get you medical attention immediately. If there wasn’t a medic of any sort around, then he knows some basic wound care, and he’d do whatever he could for you to make sure that you could safely make the journey to a doctor. He’ll be very attentive in your recovery, as well, and he’ll make sure that you follow the doctor’s orders to a T. No matter how badly you’re injured, he’ll keep his calm demeanor up for your sake; if you lose consciousness, though, then he will be visibly distraught as he gets you the help you need.

I bet his sleep schedule is all kinds of messed up and turned around, so if you’re a ‘go to bed early and wake up at the crack of dawn’ type person, then his nocturnal ways may bother you. As for habits that would bother him, he doesn’t care for poor table manners, so things like chewing with your mouth open or playing with your food. He couldn’t care less if you put your elbow on the table, but those other things really get to him.

charlotte marie cater, born january seventeenth, is the only daughter and youngest of steven and margaret carter’s three children: avery, sawyer and dalton. she was born and raised in rosa, oklahoma--but she sure as hell didn’t want to say there for life.

from a young age, the woman was a spitfire. she was loud, she was determined, and when she set her mind to something--there was no going back. come hell or highwater--she’d achieve her goal. her mother had always been worried about her tenacity--fearing it’d get her into trouble one day or that she’d alienate the people she needed in her life. you see, her mother was a bleeding heart kind of woman, someone who put feelings and others before herself. charlotte--well, charlotte grew up with three boys who didn’t give a hoot nor a holler about her gender or age, if they wanted a fight, they were going to get a fight. softness did not help her cause, ripping her heart open to people would not help her win.

that wasn’t to say she did not love her brothers. of course she did--she had no qualms with any of her family. they were kind, caring folk who loved their children with their entire heart and then some. did they make mistakes? sure. but who didn’t? charlotte _adored her parents, _and she couldn’t imagine a family better than her own.

it was a different story for her hometown, though. rosa was small, quaint--two things charlotte was not. ever since she was young, she craved pounding hard concrete instead of soft gravel and running up and down busy boulevards instead of two lane country roads. rosa was not where her spirit was fulfilled--instead, her eyes were set on the city of chicago. new york was too popular, but chicago? chicago was her dream--life was more in a city like that. she thought to herself. so that was her goal--get out of rosa, whatever means necessary.

rosa, however, had a different plan. charlotte, while headstrong, was also not immune to the pressures of high school and the desire to be queen bee. perhaps more arrogant than a fourteen year should have been, she quickly found her way to securing a spot on the varsity cheerleading team and into the hearts of all those around her. well, into their hearts might have been more of a metaphor than anything else. with great power comes great responsibility--and since the woman hadn’t seen any comic book movies, that lesson had alluded the blonde. at best, she was bossy and controlling--and worst, she could be down right manipulative. but high school had a way of bringing out the extremes in its students--and that didn’t mean the woman didn’t have a soft spot.

enter trevor haines, star quarterback and everything charlotte could want in a guy. charming, good looking, funny, sweet--instantly, she fell head over heels. perfect high school love story. star quarterback + head cheerleader = high school sweethearts, the end. her parents loved him, her brothers adored him (thanks to that state championship, heyo) and the town could think of nothing better than a sweet, perfect, happily ever after. roll credits, cue the sappy cute love song, right?

well...it looks like their might be a mid credit scene.

charlotte loved trevor--truly, absolutely, and truth be told, he was the only one she ever let her guard down for. but charlotte craved control, enjoyed being the one in charge of her life and...trevor had other plans. the town had other plans. they were supposed to get married, have babies and live in rosa forever. she would be another line in however many generations and her life would be nothing more than...average.

the thought scared her more than her worst nightmares, so one early summer--out of the blue to everyone around her--she packed her bags and moved to chicago. truth be told, she had been accepted to the University of Illinois Chicago months earlier, but she had hid the acceptance as it was the playoffs and she didn’t want to distract trevor--nor did she want to think about what might happen if she took the acceptance. but one cool, february day it had hit her that her life would be in neutral if she didn’t make a choice soon and secretly, quietly, she accepted the offer and then, a few months later, she was on the road with little more than her backpack and a suitcase full of her favorite clothes. she said goodbye to no one, thinking that if she disappeared, they’d forget about her soon enough and go back to their lives in the town.

while in school, she learned she had a passion for debate and enjoyed to argue her points until the cows came home. a professor had taken her aside one day, expressing that she had noticed her fiery attitude in the course and suggested legal studies as a major. the idea stuck and soon charlotte could think of nothing else than getting up in front of that courtroom and proving to a jury that she--and her client--was right and everyone else was wrong. of course, she chose criminal law as her concentration, because, in the immortal words of elle woods, “i’ll take the hard one--i like a challenge”

charlotte still think about trevor and rosa from time to time--she misses her family and wants to go back and see them someday. as she’s grown farther from her high school self, she realizes her attitude wouldn’t get her far in life and has worked hard to change who she was to be a better human. she thinks that if she was a lawyer, well then maybe she could atone for some of her...more cruel days of past.

F A S T F A C T S

charlotte loves to horseback ride--in fact, when she had a bad day, you could catch her riding her horse sweet cheeks for miles until she could feel the sadness no longer.

she is also a pretty good cook, thanks to her momma. if charlotte had one hero, it’d be her. she would always admire the way her mother loved everyone so fully--in a way that charlotte never could growing up.

she can quote legally blonde by heart--yes, she can say the whole courtroom scene in full--and knows all the songs in the musical. and it is her goal to become the best dressed lawyer in the court--though her signature color is certainly not pink (it’s marble--and yes, for her, it is a color thank you)

growing up with three boys meant that charlotte--for all her feminine tendencies and appreciation--can brawl with the best of them. she just never does because she has learned to use her words as her weapon--though she certainly has toned it down quite a bit since then.

her favorite movie is love actually and no, she will not be taking any questions at this time.

B I O G R A P H Y

robin dare is a big of an enigma. she would probably punch you in the face for using such a word for her but what can you do, right? to understand robin we kind of have to go back to the beginning, so the beginning we go.

many years ago in a run down area of new york city, robin was born to a single mother. unable to look after the young infant, she bailed on the hospital and left her small child behind. robin was immediately turned into a child of the state, where she spent her first few years in an orphanage that catered to young infants like her.

she was somewhat lucky, as once she was old enough to walk, talk, and take instructions, she was fostered by a man who went by the name of mr. L. he brought her and a few others to an estate in up state new york, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. she was raised with many other young kids, though not like any other children. he trained them in hand to hand combat, weapons handling, and much more. he turned them into killing machines. into mini soldiers. this was their life, and this was all they knew.

robin, as well, was the cruelest of them all. she took to this way of life easily. she became faster, stronger, braver than the rest. clearly mr. L’s favourite out of the bunch, she made enemies with some of the other children. they were never all going to get along, and robin did not plan on having friends. in fact, there were only a small few that she really cared for. her closest allies, though even she was reluctant to use the word friend.

there wasn’t much to robin’s life outside of that. this was all they ever knew.

when she was twenty five, those of her age were taken out on a hike. mr. L, a man who never truly shared everything with the bunch, finally told of one of his darkest secrets. he was a creature of the moon, a human-wolf hybrid they’d read of in storybooks. some of them whispered between each other, rumours having gone around of what mr. L had been hiding from them. this was perhaps one of the more ludicrous ideas anyone had ever come up with...

but he told them more. he told them of a war of centuries old, and how he had trained them from infancy to become soldiers to fight. he asked them to accept the turn. take it, and pledge loyalty to him and lycan kind, or refuse, and be taken care of swiftly. robin, ever the brave, accepted the turn first. she allowed the man who’d raised her to bite into her arm. she was the first to take the pledge, and she was also the first to take blood, as the next refused. with a nod of his head, robin understood, and with one swift use of her knife, they were no more.

everyone else took the pledge after that. and each one of them were welcomed into a new world.

their next few years were filled with controlling their beats selves and training themselves further with their new found abilities. once mr. L believed them to be ready, they moved into the city. here, they were quick to join the battles between the vampires and the lycans. though they lost some here and there, the strongest stood through. robin was finally in her element, and she was enthralled.

however, in a much larger battle in 2004, they were caught in an ugly fight. mr. L was lost, as well as many of the other children. robin and a couple of others survived, though barely. they were brought to vivian’s attention, who asked for their loyalty in exchange of staying on her territory and breaking whatever they used to have with their upstate pack. unsure of what else to do, robin and the remaining survivors agreed. though the others stayed with vivian and the pack, robin decided to move into the city on her own, preferring her own company than that of another wishing to lead her.

these days she sticks to herself as much as possible. she goes by the laws and does not cause trouble for herself with the lycans, but she keeps a life of her own with the humans. she is careful, but she is vicious, and robin is not afraid to bare a few teeth.
