race drops onto spot's couch with a sigh. spot is already home, cooking something in the kitchen. "race, ya didn't tell me you were coming over!" he calls.

"i didn't plan on it. i was too tired to walk all the way back to my place." race settles into the couch a bit more, waiting for spot to join him. eventually, spot does, with an extra bowl of pasta for him.

"why ya so tired?" spot asks. race drops his legs into spot's lap.

"i was up late working on an assignment."

"you're dead on your feet, race. eat and then we can lay down and watch something, okay?"

"i'll get outta ya hair in a second, spot, promise."

"sweetheart, you're my boyfriend and you're half asleep as it is. relax. you can stay as long as you want." race nods as he starts to eat. spot turns something on the tv. he's too tired to focus very much on it.

he sets his empty bowl on the coffee table. spot will take it out to the kitchen. he quickly loses track of time and finds himself falling asleep on spot's couch. "race," spot nudges him. "sweetie, c'mon, it's your bedtime."

"super funny," race mumbles, not opening his eyes.

"seriously, i have a bed for a reason."

"tryna get me into bed, spottie?" race snorts at his own joke and then stops as spot grabs him. he always forgets how strong spot is. "put me down," he says as spot throws him over his shoulder. "this is so embarrassing." spot sets him on the edge of the bed.

"i've got some pajamas you've left here if you wanna change." race nods, smiling at spot. he changes and goes back to spot's room, finding him already laid down and reading some sort of book. there's a tea on his night stand. race takes a sip of it as he walks by.

"god, i forgot that your tea is practically just sugar." he pretty much climbs on top of spot, putting his head on spot's chest. he feels whatever book he's reading settle between his shoulders. "that's a sharp book."

"so get off of me and it won't be on you anymore."

"no." he smiles, listening to spot's heartbeat against his chest. spot's hand runs through his hair as he falls asleep.

he should be tired around spot more.

actually my favorite thing ever is when people draw eiffel with a regular open coffee mug and the coffee is half-floating out. like officially there’s no gravity on the hephaestus, but in spirit i think that’s the truer representation of wolf 359’s approach to science. it works however it works. it’s incredibly dumb. i love it. no notes.

What if Chay moves on from Kim and starts bringing over people from clubs and college parties to the minor family house ? He picks them carefully , he now knows how to , they're usually vaguely aware of who he is. They also know enough to not question the security surrounding him and his "house". He's learnt to protect himself from people who get close only with their selfish ulterior motives.

He's only young and in college once. He's gonna enjoy it goddamnit.

Except once when Kim comes over to the minor fam house at Kinn's request for "personally verifying the money leaks Porsche found out and see if he could update the security in any way possible while he's at it " , and he runs a *bit* late . Kim gracefully accepts Porsche's invitation to "crash opposite to Chay's room , that's where his friends stay over sometimes . Chay's my brother by the way, have you guys met?😄".

And Kim has to listen to Porchay and some ba**ard loudly make their way to Porchay's suite in what was so late at night that it was early in the morning , even by Kim's standards.

Pants , purrs . *Moans.* F#cking moans.

And thuds of flesh on the wall when they got too excited and tripped on the carpet. Laughs and giggles. Not a care as to who might hear.

Kim thought it would end once they got in the suite . Well he was wrong. He had to listen to every single whimper, shout and cry ; and finally understood why the maid explained how Khun Porchay prefers the entire floor to himself for his music usually .

He couldn't sleep even after it got fully quiet . He couldn't sleep for a long time after .

The high priestess: what is your dream date?

Well, since it didn't say it had to be a first date I'm gonna say this would be with someone I've come to feel safe with but I'm still getting to know: we have a whole day set aside, and with a parameter of going at most maybe 2 hrs outside our city, we each pick a place that represents something abt the core of who we are. So I take them to the closest biggest body of water and tell them about growing up in Florida and how the ocean knows me in ways humans never can. Maybe they take me to a random town they've never been to before and we go antiquing bc they like seeing new places rather than old, and antiquing is what they did with their grandma growing up. Or, idk, they have us hike to the highest point within the radius and tell me how they like hikes with a challenge because when their legs burn and their heart rate increases they feel wild, like they belong there in the forest. And while we're driving we both play songs for each other that have meant something to us in our lives, taking turns, telling stories, their song reminds me of one from when I was 9 that I forgot existed, they haven't listened to this genre in ages and start remembering all the songs they used to love. When we get back to our city we get ice cream. I go home buzzing and dance around my apartment with my cats to one of the songs they shared.
