Sushi Time Night

X3 an idea Nekorockstarninja told me on,.. X3 the premise is that Suzuki takes everyone out to a sushi place that she knows of with a small prize contest if ya eat 5 plates of sushi ya get a small prize... Suzuki once attempted to do it on her but couldn't it but this time she brought back up which happens to be the ragtag Cast members of mine that will be aiding Suzuki to get what she needs... XD hilarity will ensue

-that night in town-

Suzuki: -opens the doors to the Sushi place as she heads inside with the others- ^^ this is the Sushi place I spoke of... ^^; where I ate like 40 plates of Sushi and got some small prizes out of it... I tried to do it alone but couldn't do it... ^^ so yea Merrick: hehe -sniffs the air of the place- ^^ heh reminds me the time when I was a lil kid Espio's uncle Seraph brought my siblings and I with Espio to a Sushi place similar to this one

Espio: heh... brings back memories doesn't it?? Merrick: it really does

Espio: to this very day I still miss my uncle but he did raise ya well

Suzuki: wait wha

Jared: when Merrick's village got attacked Uncle Yamato told them to find a person named Seraph who happens to be Espio's uncle... Both Merrick and Espio grew up as kids so they're pretty close

Suzuki: oh wow I had no idea

Espio: now ya know Suzuki

Merrick: soon after Espio's uncle passed we split ways on our own.. we didn't get back together until the meterex war happened and worked together with tails and the others on the war effort I was just glad to See Espio again but hanging with Vector and Charmy,, ^^; dunno how he ended up with them but they're an okay sort when I met them I was quite unsure at the time but sometime after the war I accepted them as friends... any friend of Espio is my friend those were my words when I accepted them... ^^; well as for Espio paying rent I usually see him at the door delivering pizza...

Espio: uhm.... ya back when... uhhh Tails broke his arm and leg at the time when Miss Marine was around at the time... I wonder whatever happened to that girl?? Shadow: heh... who knows Marine The Raccoon: O.o there was a girl after my name

Tails: mmhmm when I had that extreme gear mishap I got badly injured both of em got me home and had me patched up

Espio: she was the one who greeted me at the door at the time when I delivered the pizza... told her why that I had to pay rent because Vector kept going broke

Merrick: this was way before I got my cybernetic enhancements at the time btw

Waitress: -sees Suzuki is here again and sees the big crowd thats with her- O.o oh wow I never knew I am seeing this the ragtag band of the Katos and Prowers and also others also... uhh follow me to the big room for a huge crowd and we'll be with ya shortly

Suzuki: alrighty

Roberto: -walks on over as he also owns this sushi place also- ahhh.. Merrick good to see you again -insert borderlands 3 character introduction of his full name which is Roberto Jaime Scott: Martial Artist, Bodyguard of Yuri Niko and Japanese Restaurant related business man-

Merrick: ahh Roberto didn't know ya own this sushi place also besides the main ones

Roberto: mmhmm I might say Suzuki really loves this place specially the idea that every 5 plates of sushi ya get a small prize and seems like she wants to get more prizes and for y'all to have a chance also Jared: thats why were here Roberto

Roberto: ^^ well I do have to admit that was a wise decision to bring friends and family with ya to help eating the sushi and the prizes needed so when in doubt always have family and friends to help instead of taking it on alone

Merrick: ^^ the usual account that I usually pay for here Roberto and congrats to joining in helping Shiro with the bodyguard detail and uhh also my boy good on you of joining with Shiro on that detail also... ^^ so ya can get out more and such whenever Yuri goes on tour

Connor The Wolf: heh... thanks dad

Merrick: ^^ keep in mind when Yuri's band is in town expect us to be there so we can listen and watch

Yuri Niko: ^^ hehe count on it ya son will do a great job I just know he will

Merrick: ^^ of course and make sure he stays out of trouble also and make sure to have a calm mind and such... ^^; the boy has ADHD and Autism go figure

Yuri Niko: .w. oh in this case if SP Vector decides to butt and such use of force is basically immediate

Roberto: ugggh ya mean the same jackass I had to ban last week from this establishment along with the other japanese places I own and etc

Connor The Wolf: =w= and the same numbskull who blew up my damn truck that my adopted parents got for me when I first got adopted

Yuri Niko: yup the very same cheap knock off of Vector who is also his sonic paradox counterpart if ya watched the sonic shorts collab series

Roberto: ohhh looking forward to it good thing I been practicing some new martial arts moves I can use on him

Connor The Wolf: and also the new Blade that Gladio gave me when he first fought against Giglamesh and passed it on to me since he wishes to keep using one of his older blades and such

Squall: gigalmesh... yes I know the guy when Odin went down he came into the picture and resumed doing Odin's job didn't know his name at the time but he seems to be obsessed with a certain sword... I think it was the Excalibur or somethin he didn't say

The Burrito

-- evening of the eighth day --

Again no burger (somehow McDonald's doesn't seem to want to do deliveries anymore I feel like), but I had an entire burrito today, and french fries. Took me maybe an hour to eat, and didn't quite finish the fries because I was getting exhausted and they were getting cold. I was worried whether the rice would do the annoying thing where it falls inbetween the tongues and I'd have a hard time getting it out of there, but to my surprise none of that happened, it went really well.

If I had to explain how eating feels currently.... Imagine having a numb tongue that just flops around and you have only very basic control over it. The problem right now is food sticking to teeth. I can't use the tongues to pick it out of the teeth just yet. Still too stiff, and the numbness in the tips isn't helping, but I'm slowly getting better at it. Brushing works just fine, also just a bit weird still because the tongues still just do whatever they want. Speaking is getting better by the hour almost.

I think this is going to be the last daily update for now. I'm not quite done being back to normal but seeing how fast I'm improving now all I'd be able to write from now on would be "today I ate X, and speech became better". I might probably start to learn some tricks soon.

As a quick recap: I definitely was overprepared, but I'm glad about that - at no point did I feel like I needed something that I didn't have. It pretty much boiled down to "sleep and attempt to drink all day long". The most useful things were the squeeze bottles, the ice cube trays, ibuprofen, and soup (the one without noodles) - these were absolutely essential. Personally for me the syrup was a lifesaver too. Bowls are better than cups, and I had a towel wrapped around my neck at all times. I never talked about the saline solution - it is a sterile medical 9% rinsing solution, brand Fresenius, was really cheap on Amazon (I think ~€6 for 6 liters which I believe was a glitch in the matrix, it's usually a bit more expensive) and I bought that in bulk a while ago - but you should be able to get these at pharmacies as well - I used about 600ml of it over the course of 7 days, for my mouthwash routines. The arnica sugar ball thingies: I stopped taking these after I got the split because I couldn't figure out how. They didn't do anything anyway, can't believe I actually fell for that - the best way to limit swelling, from my experience, is to put vast amounts of ice in anything you drink, and stay in bed as much as possible. I used the arnica ointment once, probably also unneccessary. Tea was also not needed but I was close to on day 3, but my stomach calmed down as soon as I stopped taking painkillers. If you like these kinds of teas go for it, I'm just more of a soft drink person. The boogieboard (or really anything to write on) was also super helpful in some situations.

Here is a final photo, notice how it already looks like I've always had it. It also already kind of feels like that. I know, everyone will tell you that it feels very natural. And I really wanted to capture this new feeling in words for someone who is curious - but it is impossible. It feels like two tongues, and as if they had always been like that (sure, they still feel a bit sore, but it's getting better very quickly). Sorry to disappoint you in case you were looking for an answer to that. Do I miss my old tongue? lol, no. This is way more exciting, and I get to keep this awesome wonderful mod for the rest of my life. Going through that week of hell and agony was difficult but worth it.

Are we both bad? (Sanders Sides One-Shot)

Note: this takes place a few days after The Split, so Remus is a kid. Janus is older than him and more mature. Yes, this is Mom Deceit content.

Remus lay on the mossy ground of his room, staring up at the mold-covered ceiling. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. He was supposed to be Creativity. He was supposed to be a King! Why didn’t Thomas want him? Why were all his ideas so.... bad?

“Remuss? May I come in?” Janus’s voice came from the dark hall.

“No! Go away!” Remus threw a knife at the door.

“Charming.” The door opened anyway and the snake-like side slipped in. “Sssulking again, are we?”

Remus sat up and crossed his arms. “No.”

Janus clicked his tongue and sat on the ground next to him. “I know when you lie, honey.”

Remus pouted. “That’s no fun. How can I get away with stuff?”

Janus laughed, a shrill but happy sound. “Mm... How about thiss? We can pull pranks on the others together!”

Remus perked up. “We prank Roman?”

“Whoever you want, ssweetie.” He tapped Remus’s nose with a gloved finger.

Remus giggled, then grinned broadly and poked Janus’s nose, rewarded with a wonderful snake-like blep. He clapped his hands and poked Janus’s nose again, gleefully watching his forked tongue flick out.

Janus stood to get out of reach and brushed himself off. “I haven’t the foggiest idea what you’re laughing about.”

Remus cackled. “Your tongue went BLEP!” He stuck his own tongue out.

“It mossst certainly did not.” Janus huffed.

“Did too!”

Janus sighed dramatically and sank into the bed. “You wound me, little gremlin.”

“I could if I wanted to!” Remus climbed up next to him with a dagger in hand. “See? I could go stabby-stab!”

“You could..... But you won’t.” Janus tilted his head to the side. “I am not like the othersss, Remusss. I want to help you. I want you to be happy. Who cares what sssociety thinksss of your actionss? I certainly don’t.”

Remus put the dagger down, staring it for a moment. “Janny? Are we both bad?” he whispered.

Janus sighed and pulled Remus onto his lap, hugging him gently. “Good and bad is all made up nonsensse. I want what isss bessst for Thomas, jusst like everyone elssse. But the problem is that Patton— and therefore Thomas— believess that lying is wrong and sselfishnesss is evil. I do not agree.”

Remus hugged back tightly and closed his eyes. “Okay. We’re best friends, right?”

“Best friends forever. I promissse.”

Remus has never had any qualms about appearing in his brother’s room, be it by actually knocking or by suddenly dropping down from the ceiling. This time especially he can’t wait a single second longer to share the good news; never mind that it’s already 1 in the morning.

He finds Roman still awake when he unceremoniously steps out from his wardrobe, having popped up inside it. His brother is sitting at his desk, concentrating hard on a drawing. Remus doesn’t feel the least bit bad about interrupting him by jumping up to sit on the desk, shaking it as he does.

“Remus,” Roman complains, his pen having strayed and marked the paper with an ugly line. “Must you interrupt me so rudely?”

“I have something to tell you!” Remus grinned, his teeth glinting in the low light.

Roman sighed, knowing he would get no more work done, and leaned back in his chair. His back ached from having bent over his desk for so long.

“Go on then.”

“Okay so I was spending the evening with our resident snek, getting down and dirty with those six arms and split tongue of his-”

“Remus!”

“You’re just jealous that you’re not getting six hands and two D’s,” Remus said in a singsong voice. “Anyway, we were cuddling - he’s such a big cuddler, did you know that? It’s absolutely adorable. Such a danger noodle. And he bleps! Roman suddenly looks concerned, as he takes in the sharpness of the knife.“He didn’t stab you, did he?”

“What? No! Not this time at least.”

“This time?!” Roman repeated, looking up to meet Remus’ eyes.

“Never mind that, don’t you know what this is?” Remus asks, waving the knife in Roman’s face.

“A knife?”

“No- well, yes, but not just that!”

“Remus, please just say what’s so special about that knife, and stop waving it in my face.”

“It’s an engagement knife. Deceit proposed.”

“What in the seven realms are engagement knives? Wait, Deceit proposed? You’re engaged! Ohmygod my demented brother got engaged before me, what has the world come to-”

“Oh yeah, Dee wanted me to tell you that marriage is a social construct and that we’re going to get hitched in secret, but you’re welcome to plan a wedding that we won’t show up for.”

“Won’t show up to! Remus, I’m going to have words with your fiancé. You’re my only brother and I’m going to plan you an amazing wedding no matter what.”

Remus laughs. He would love to see Remus and Deceit argue about the importance of marriages and weddings in the morning, but for now, he was going to return to his sleeping fiancé. The word makes him feel warm all over, like a slab of meat roasting in an oven.

His smile is wide enough to threaten to split his face open. He has a fiancé.

Chapter 25 – Blep

Marinette stirred as the sunlight seeped through the skylight. There was a heavy weight against her side and she smiled when she realized that her kitty was still sleeping peacefully beside her. Her arms were wrapped around his middle and her head had used his shoulder and chest as a pillow. Her hair was disheveled mess while the sheets laid peacefully on top of them. She took in the dissipating musky scent of cologne with a hint of Camembert that was on the brisk of leaving his body, and she snuggled into his side just watching the slow rise and fall of his chest as she listened to him breathe.

It was pleasant and calming and she didn’t want the moment to end. But she knew it would have to soon.

Normally, Chat would be awake by now, leaving her to sleep alone without the comfort of his presence. An alarm would have been set so he would get home in time before anyone thought he was missing, so she was confused as to why he was still around.

Not that she minded it, at all.

When she finally had to urge to look up, she smiled a little further when she noticed his mouth was slightly open and soft snores were coming from it. She eyed his peach lips, the softness ready to be kissed once more. His skin was smooth and relatively blemish free and his hair was a disheveled mess of bed head. She never had a moment to really look at him, their moments together were always quick or their distance was slightly apart. But seeing him sleeping peacefully beside her? She absolutely took the opportunity to take in his features and memorize this little part of him even if it was to be ingrained in her memories forever.

She must have stared for a long time, because she was jostled awake when he stirred and shifted his weight. Doing so caused him to close his mouth for a second when he pursed his lips, but then his mouth reopened enough for his tongue to barely slip out. He looked like an actual cat going blep and all she could do was agree that it was adorably cute.

Marinette reached out to touch his tongue with her finger, giggling when it slipped back in. His face furrowed and he groaned, slapping his hand in her direction. She snorted deeply and laughed loudly in response, finally waking him up fully from his deep sleep.

He yawned. “Marinette?” He rubbed his eyes, moving the mask in the process to place it above his forehead, not thinking for a second that she didn’t know who he was yet.

She let out a squeak before dropping her gaze, burying her face into his bare chest.

When Adrien looked down at Marinette, he smiled and tried to bring her chin up to meet his gaze and kiss her lips, but she wouldn’t budge.

“Marinette?” He looked at her concerned. “Why won’t you look at me?”

“You’re mask.” She blindly pointed towards his face. “I don’t know who you are yet, remember?”

At first, Adrien blanched, but then a smirk crossed his expression. “But you said tomorrow you wanted to know who I am. Well, it’s tomorrow!”

“I haven’t even had a proper freak out yet! Let me freak out first. The last thing I want to do is freak out in front of you!”

Adrien let out a chuckle. “Well, keep your eyes closed for a second.” She did and he brought her face up by her chin. Bringing is face down to hers, he planted a sweet, but slow kiss onto her lips, soaking in the little moment of face to face without the barrier of the mask taking the moment away.

When he pulled away, Marinette let out a delighted sigh. “Wow.” She said as a blush appeared on her cheeks. “I love you.”

“I love you too, princess.” He slid the mask back down over his eyes and he rubbed his nose against hers. “You can look now. My mask is back on my face.”

She looked up at him and gave him one more kiss before settling back down to his side. “I’m surprised you haven’t left yet. What did I do to deserve such a welcoming surprise?”

He chuckled. “I set my alarm. I think you,” he bopped her on the nose, “are actually up early for once.” He checked the time. “Exactly what I thought. It’s only 6H.”

Marinette groaned and closed her eyes. “Gross. Why am I up? It’s too early!”

“I think it’s because you were excited to see me.” He wiggled his brows.

Marinette pouted. “How much longer until you have to leave?”

“A few more minutes.” He looked at her with a sweet expression before a devious one split his features. He leaned down and kissed her lips before kissing her jaw and her neck. “How about another round? What do you say?”

She giggled when his breath ticked a spot on her neck. “I say we have to hurry up then.” She said, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his lips slowly.
