Um. What's your headcanons on what kind of games (videogames, tabletop, whatever) do you think each one of the mekadan is into? I think i went into a lot of detail already regarding Shintaro and Kano (so sorry for projecting into them sksksksksskssk), but i really would like to know what another would think? Feel free to go into as much detail on Takane as you wish, you deserve it and i live to hear your rambles on her.

god i actually dont know bc im not a gamer girlie like miss cyber girl ene... i think takane plays everything pretty much. ofc more the shooters as we know but is probably pretty knowledgeable on a bunch of things, i think she especially loves horror and based on her canon fave movies (the godfather 2 and the clockwork orange) she's probably rly into games with an ongoing story, abt crime specifically. like yakuza and gta and all that stuff

SINCE IM NOT A GAMER i dont know shit and idk what to say for most of everyone but i can say for sure ayano and momo are sims girlies. i think momo's obsessed with making up lore for the families she makes and ayano is a home builder/decor lover❤️ i think theyd get together to play a lot bc ayano makes the homes and momo makes the families hehe.... mary is an animal crossing girlie btw

anyways. kido probably rhythm games. but like guitar hero. shintaro introduces them to love live and project sekai and bandori and whatever else and kidos like😐 no.

amongus hibiya is real to me. he is real. i made a comic abt it about how takane teaches him to use his phone and he becomes irremediably obsessed with among us

i dont think seto plays any videogames and he gets frustrated easily when he plays with everyone. when mekatrio+ayano mario kart he is dead last like TRAGICALLY last. kano i dont have strong opinions but i liked ur hcs about him being into strategy games and hiding it a bit. i also think he'd like graphic novels... and he'd be the kind to watch lets plays instead of actually playing a game too. also hiyori i dont see her playing anything. maybe the sims too bc the awesomest girls play the sims

for haruka he rly plays everything like same as takane theyre the gamer couple ok. they play every single game ever and probably make icebergs together abt obscure videogames. they look for the weirdest most obscure game they can find and just do that for a friday night activity. other than that i think haruka also rly enjoys games like animal crossing and the sims and stardew valley etc. like for takane i think she plays those but gets bored pretty easy she just speedruns thru them and is frustrated theres no action and haruka Gets it more. though they both love minecraft❤️ the yuukei quartet minecraft server is real because it meets all of their conditions for games. i think ayano and shintaro want creative mode because theyre both into making their houses and being at peace and dont want Scary Surprises while haruka and takane prefer survival bc THATS GAMING!! so they always argue abt it lol. i think ayano could be into survival too but i think her reflexes suck LOL SHE JUST WANTS TO MAKE A TREE HOUSE.

haruka mentions being a little baby abt zombies so hes a baby abt horror to me. but he also says he pretty much gets over it after getting addicted to dead bullet soooo i think he can also enjoy horror games, just maybe not by himself. i think haruka and takane choose some horror game and keep arguing about the lights because haruka wants them on cuz hes scared and takane wants them off because That's How Horror Games Are Meant To Be Played

What if Cole and Vania’s friendship (as well as Lilly’s fight for the Geckles and Munce) blooms into a generations-long coalition between the Masters of Earth who come after him and the Shintaro throne?

Shintaro keeps a special suite for the Master of Earth. They will always have a home at the palace and a seat at the ruler’s table. The people of Shintaro, the Geckles and the Munce hold a feast for the new Master of Earth when they reach their true potential. They read of their element’s past triumphs, especially over the terrible Griefbringer. They speak of history, of mutual trust and devotion.

In the halls of the Shintaro palace, each new Master learns of honour.

Masters of Earth go to Shintaro to train their elemental skills surrounded by their own element to enhance it; They hear stories told about a Milly or Gilly, get inspired and train their spinjitzu burst; They visit the Heart of the Mountain, the temple in the dungeons of Shintaro and find answers there for their training.

But they find more: artifacts and writings of past Masters of Earth, going back to Cole, who couldn’t bear to just leave dry instructions. Cole left pictures of Jay and Nya dancing like his parents once had. He left sketches of Lloyd meditating. He left two old metal parts, one no more than a scrap that Zane once shed in a fight, the other a lock of Pixal’s artificial hair. There’s a rock scarred by one of Kai and Wu’s sparring sessions which ended up outside the Monastery, on the mountain. Cole writes of them with a different kind of devotion than the Shintaro ruler speaks of.

In the Temple of the Masters of Earth, each new Master learns of love.

YS: Kazemai boys eating udon together. Yano-san thinks this scene is interesting because Kazemai supposed to train their sync, but even for eating udon, all 5 of them have different personality.

IK: Kazemai and Kirisaki match side by side

OK: All Sae-chan reaction. Kensho-san said Sae-chan is like a key person that glued the Fujiwara family. She kinda bring Shu and his parents together. Also the wish that Shu write in his Tanabata tanzaku is also revealed in this event.

FJ: Tsujimine practise scene

The game they play on noon session is throwing a ring into a stick (like in the anime S2 EP 13). It's last man standing type of game. The rule is they have to follow an instruction when throwing the ring.

As a practise, they can throw the ring normally --> only Yano-san actually managed to put the ring into the stick

For first round, the action is they have to throw the ring after they got cheered by the audience.

Only Yano-san managed to put the ring on the stick again. Kensho-san and Ichikawa-san missed the target, but they're being forgiven because at least the ring were in the board.

Yano-san, Kensho-san, and Ichikawa-san proceed to round 2. This time, the action is to get cheered by their name

Asanuma-san suggested to use the nickname when they were in High School. So for Ichikawa-san it's Ittchi, Yano-san is Yanoooon, and Kensho-san is Onocchi. Kensho-san and Yano-san proceed to Final

The action they have to do for the final is to throw the ring without seeing and both of them actually did not make it. So FukuJun picked up Kensho ring and put it manually on the stick, making OnoKensho is the winner for the game.

He get a mini kaiten sushi set as a present.

L'Aventur de Canmom à Annecy - Mercredi 4: WTF 2023

WTF (read 'what the fuck' in a heavy French accent) seems to be a kind of annual collection of weird online shit. Titmouse is involved in some capacity, although I don't think they're necessarily the ones who picked the films. And while I did recognise one selection (umami had a film) most of it was new to me and there were some crazy good ones...

... but most of all the atmosphere of the late night screening was amazing. I got in at the last minute and somehow ended up in a reserved seat for Titmouse, since I guess they didn't show? Which meant I had one of the best views in the house. The theatre was completely packed and full of excitement.

So then this guy comes out in the skintight purple vest and cape and rainbow stockings. The boss of Titmouse comes on stage and picked up one of the paper planes to invite whoever threw it to come and bite a balloon in half (which would have been a better bit if the person actually did it).

Then came the directors of the films, mostly to tell jokes ("there's too much business and not enough fucking at Annecy" declared one director, instructing us to have sex tonight). After these guys... some Gobelins instructors came out to throw shirts into the crowd, people went absolutely nuts for these shirts. Then: films.

To open we had this stop motion earworm, Du vélo à St-Malo, du kayak à St-Briac. By the second chorus, the audience was singing along. The images are a bit lolrandom but I can't deny it's infectious in its editing.

Next up came the debut of David by Patrick Ward, about a seriously injured footballer confronting his rival framed through the story of David and Goliath. Lots of little visual jokes that made it flow even if the overall thrust of the story remained a little opaque to me.

Umami's Safe Mode was a natural fit; if you've seen an Umami film you know what to expect. Surreal character designs and a guy with a monotone voice. Looking forward to more of this series.

The Rubbings of Trajectories by Cheng-Hsu Chung from Taiwan took things in a rather Adventure Time direction in its drawing style, full of wild perspective shifts and morphing. I was a little too caught up in the visuals to take a lot from the voiceover lol.

Insomnie by Paul Utkay leaned on Stable Diffusion interpolation for its surreal shifting visuals. This was I think the only time, besides the one after this, I've seen AI in the festival, and right now the main use of AI seems to be like this, a visual effect.

Following this came Two Gracious Uncles Smooched To The Beat (currently password locked so I can't embed it) by Jon Dunleavy, a completely frenetic sendup of the whole AI art 事件. Rather than being made by AI it's mostly deliberately janky cgi, rapidfire jokes, and wrong subtitles as an extra layer, which made for a fun watch. The thesis was maybe something like, "this is all a bit silly". As a programming move, putting this right after the AI film was kind of genius.

A Kind of Testament by Stephen Vuillemin was simply fantastic, absolutely the highlight of this collection. The framing device is that a woman stumbles on a website created by another older woman with the same name as her, consisting of incredibly elaborate animations based on her social media photos. As we watch more, we learn more about this mysterious animator, who died shortly after the protagonist contacted her. Ultimately though this framing device is just a vehicle for some really tight imaginatively grotesque shorts that gradually start to connect up more and more. I hesitate to call it ero-guro because it's not exactly ero, but it definitely put me in mind of e.g. shintaro kago. the framing device works just right, linking the shorts and providing a certain frame for interpretation - the animator is terminally ill, so jokes about foot killing parasites and regrets make sense - without being overbearing. honestly just a really great film, the perfect level of enigmatic. i hope i can show more than the trailer some day.

Internet Gaga by Reinhild Bidner slammed into a much faster pace, a pastiche of Radio Gaga by Queen with the music video consisting mainly of cutout animation and AI deepfake animation of memes. Two minutes was about the right length for this lol. But yeah, haha, the internet, what a mess amirite

Todo está perdido by Carla Pereira Docampo and Juan Francisco Jacinto Prados was a fascinating oddity though. Stop motion, with these wildly distorted models - built in forwards or backwards slants and birdlike eyes. The story concerns a suburban nuclear family where the mother lays eggs, which they mostly eat, but decide to fertilise one one day, resulting in a baby with a wrinkled head hatching. The B plot concerns their other child who gets a rat inside her skin by accident during surgery. As you can imagine it went for the squick reactions. I can't find an online video of this one but here's a previous project by the same directors.

From this point on things got pretty wild. First up we had Uncle Babysitter 2 by Tung Yin Ng aka Tungwood.

as far as toilet humour goes? This was actually great, just relentless gleeful escalation. I got to chat a bit with Tungwood and his friends after the films, and funnily enough he was very shy and would run up to people saying 'souvenir' and give them a card for the film. It was very funny talking to a group of animators, which in my eyes is like the peak of the world's professions, and have them act impressed when i say I'm a game dev.

Anyway, this was a really fun short about a baby's adventure inside a man's stomach as the man desperately tries to pull him out. The breakneck editing really makes the stupid jokes work, it's kinda Imaishi in that way.

Granny X by DD Sheahan relaxed the pace only barely, telling the story of an old lady in a nursing home having a vivid lesbian fantasy that in the waking world leads to her careening around strangling nurses and stuff. It was fun visually, although the humour seemed generally a little meaner.

Monsterfuckers by the Tohu Animation Collective led by Ori Goldberg was something like a multi animator project with loops contributed by different animators around the vague prompt of monsters having sex. So this one's like, straight up porn but weird porn so it gets to be in here lol. The editing to the music was tight and many of the clips were really creative - but no sign of it online as yet so I can't show you.

We were really on a roll at this point. The final part was the music video for Cool Party by Simon Medard for a band called Cocaine Piss, which pushed the jank factor to maximum. It didn't do a lot for me but it kept the energy going. After that we spilled out onto the lawn outside Bonlieu and everyone gathered in small groups. Not really wanting to just walk away, I inserted myself into conversations here and there, said some nice things to the showrunner, met Tungwood... and then at last time to go home, packed on the last bus like sardines.

Honestly, even if it could have been a little weirder to be truly 'what the fuck', this event was a blast. I mean you know how much I like this kind of thing lmao.

As for Thursday... haha god it's 2am. I'll write about it tomorrow... or maybe on Saturday... but the very short version is that I saw Art College 1994 (solid, donghua with a realist style and richard linklater energy), Kensuke's Kingdom (impressively elaborate adaptation of a Michael Morpurgo story, had a bit of an Iron Giant feel visually), White Plastic Sky (a very compelling scifi dystopian drama from Hungary in a rotoscoped style similar to A Scanner Darkly), stood in line for two hours for Mars Express and still didn't get in, watched a bit of Perspectives block 1 (mostly bad, it's the block for serious social issues rather than compelling storytelling) and then tried Graduation Films 3 (sadly could not live up to Graduation Films 2). So a bit of an unfortunate end to the day but that's how it be sometimes...

Tomorrow I've got another packed day so I'm gonna end up really behind on these writeups but stand by lol. Annecy is amazing, I don't want it to end...

Summary:  Masato (Hirotan) uses “Mind Dive” to enter the consciousness of his friend Kenji (AsaShin) who is in a coma, but he’s a vampire? 

Aftertalk bonus: 

AsaShin on why he chugged a whole bottle of “blood tomato juice” on stage:  “It’s my teeth; if you drink in sips every thing starts dripping down, and the whole costume will be stained in red. The only way to drink anything with these things is to tilt your head back and finish the whole bottle.” 

Hirotan: (laughing) “You had trouble eating backstage too didn’t you?”

The stage opens with instructions from Mind Dive, stating rules that Masato cannot break while using Mind Dive to delve into Kenji’s mind. The main one is that he can only hint at things to reignite Kenji’s memory, and is forbidden from telling him things outright. Kenji must figure things out for himself first. 

Masato is given a rough draft of a quiz to get started, and it is here that we see that the Kenji he knows has changed; he is no longer human but a vampire. Masato reasons logically that Kenji’s consciousness made him into a vampire in his own mind because it was something he wanted to be in order to escape his life. Masato laments that it��s all the reading Kenji did to have made him conjure the image of a vampire. 

Kenji has no idea who his human self is at this point, and is fully immersed into being a vampire, claiming memories which span thousands of years ago, and despising human things. 

(No one can resist Hirotan’s chest) 

Masato and Kenji are given chances to speak to each other, and are also given chances to choose certain “locations” which may help spark Kenji’s memory. One of them is a factory. Masato reveals that this was actually the first place they met, and the audience discovers as Kenji does that both Masato and Kenji are parallels: their father is gone, leaving them to be the head of the house; they are both poor; they are high school dropouts; and they are best friends. 

(Sniffing uniforms to figure out whose is whose, the human has stronger senses here) 

(Hirotan immediately forming the cross lol) 

They were the only ones of similar age in the factory, so Masato approached an introverted, sullen Kenji. Although Kenji was hesitant at first, Masato kept pestering him until they became friends. They used to eat only the crusts of bread for lunch in the factory, and played a ridiculous game of soccer together. Masato is teary, to be able to talk to Kenji again like this, is nostalgic and painful. 

On the way to the next location, they meet Kaori. Kaori is Kenji’s partner, and his fiancée; but Kenji does not remember her even though he has mostly remembered Masato. Kaori and Masato try to jog his memory, bringing up the games they used to play as children (translated hilariously on stage). 

 Kaori has to leave at the next stop, but before she goes, she begs Kenji to return to them; she doesn’t need riches, she will work harder, all she wants is for him to come back. Kenji says he will do his best. Kaori praises them both, saying that the bond of their friendship is strong and priceless. At this point, Masato looks immensely uncomfortable, but reassures Kaori to leave it to him.

The next location is the inside of a prison cell. Masato reveals a map torn into half, and what they did to have caused Kenji to slip into a coma. Kenji’s mother had fallen immensely ill, and between the medical costs and the costs for his wedding, he was left with little alternative. He and Masato planned to rob a bank, but things went horribly wrong: Kenji was involved in the accident, and Masato was caught by the police. Masato was promptly fired, causing him to spiral into working many odd jobs to the bone in order to keep up. But that is not what Masato wants to say. 

Masato begs for forgiveness, reassuring Kenji that if he returns, he’ll do anything for him; he’ll support him and Kaori in whatever way he can, he’ll help pay the medical fees, anything. (It is here that Asa’s ad-lib prompt reads: “let’s kiss”, which causes Hirotan to jump from shock and the audience to whoop.) They are reconciled. 

The Mind Dive announces that time has run out; Masato frantically asks Kenji to return. He shoves towards Kenji a letter before disappearing. 

Letter: 

apologises for his faults, and what they did 

begs Kenji to return ( “without you, I don’t have anyone else” ) 

 his own mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and though treatment worked he now owes a lot of money to many people 

he was going crazy, so he used Mind Dive to come here and meet Kenji again 

apologises for the letter being about his problems, even though Kenji has many worries himself 

was afraid Kenji may not have wanted to see him again, may have hated him; but now and forever he treats Kenji as his best friend -- other than Kenji, he has no one else to rely on 

“I’ll wait for you. If you forgive me, if you want to do many stupid things together again; even though this pains me to say, please bring the sum of money to the place where we both first met (factory). I’m waiting for you. I believe you’ll come.” 

As stage is lighted again, we see Masato pacing around in the factory. Kenji and Kaori appear, and they chat like old friends. At the very last moment, Masato pulls out a gun and points it towards the others. The stage darkens. We hear two shots.

This is part of my unfinished (Shin)AyaMary fanfic, but only the ShinAya part. I can’t decide whether I’m going to make established ShinAya or just making it platonic, but the plan is it will be AyaMary. I think this one can be read on itself as a ShinAya story.

“You’re doing it wrong again,” Shintaro sighed and tapped the equation in his notebook with his pen to emphasize his point. “It’s all over there. What’s not clicking?”

Ayano tried her hardest to keep her whine to herself. She looked down at the math worksheet Shintaro had prepared and her own answer, which the raven-haired boy had circled with bloody red ink. For the first time, Ayano didn’t like the hero’s color. “That’s strange, I was sure I got it right…”

Yes, it really was strange. Ayano felt like he had done what Shintaro had instructed. She just had to apply the equation. It’s like mixing and matching, right? Just filling up the blanks? Ayano felt like she’s done it right, but Shintaro’s exasperated expression just made her want to curl herself into a ball.

Shintaro let out a sigh yet again- He had done that a lot during this study session, Ayano cringed to herself, because of me...- and turned to look at the windows. The sky’s orange hue casted a lonely shade for the whole library. Ayano realized it was only them now. What time is it again?

“It’s almost 5, the library’s closing soon,” Shintaro said. Ayano bit her lip. They had been at it for hours now and she only managed to answer a few questions correctly, maybe not even half of the worksheet Shintaro had prepared. Ayano could feel her eyes starting to sting. Oh no, not again, please. With a deep breath, the brunette willed herself not to let the tears out. She had just wasted Shintaro’s time and she wanted to cry too? How embarrassing.

Shintaro looked back at her and his aloof gaze softened just a tiny bit. “Hey,” he reached out and wiped a single tear under Ayano’s eye- Wait, she really cried after all. God, so embarrassing. Ayano raised her scarf so it would hide half of her face, but Shintaro’s hand didn’t leave and he cupped her cheek instead. “Ayano, hey,”

The girl finally looked up to her best friend. Shintaro had a strange look, a mixed concern and understanding expression on his face. “You’re going to be fine,” He told her. “You just need more time, and I’m here all the way, okay?”

He had a lopsided smile on, probably his way to show encouragement. After all these years, Shintaro still had not the most charming smile, but it had softened. Soft enough that Ayano felt warm and fuzzy all over at the sight of it.

“Okay,” she replied, wiping her tears away with her school sweater’s sleeve. Shintaro’s hand reached up from her cheek to pat the top of her head. “Alright, take the worksheet home and I’ll email you the answers too- Try to solve them yourself before looking- Let’s go, I’ll walk you to the station,”

Chapter One: Introduction

I am Nyaro Kojima, a student from Mahoutokoro School of Magic. Im on my 2nd Year now and i cant wait what possible adventures i'll experience this year. In Tengu House, we're called the Protectors. I dont even know why i was put in this house since im not really that type, my parents chose me this House. Im loyal and determined, but Protector? Uhm, maybe? Im no longer a day student, so i pack up all my things in my luggage and i can see my parents getting too emotional coz ill be gone for months. Of course, they can send me a howler anytime they want.

"Mom, im all set". I looked at my mom as i grab my small purse.

"Okay, your School's petrel will be here anytime soon". She hugged me and as if she doesnt want to let me go. Then we heard a loud swoosh on our roof, of course the other muggles wont hear it. I bid goodbye to my parents and wave at them before riding on the petrel's back.

We arrived at the palace which is by the way located on the topmost point of volcanic island called Minami Iwo Jima maybe after 10mins of flying with those giant storm petrels and, of course our house prefect are already waiting for us, we were instructed to follow them directly to Tengu's common room. I really havent had any best friends that i can call, i mean i have a lot of acquaintances, but no close friends that i hang out with or talk with all seconds of my life here. I saw Momoko and Yuki at the common's room lounge, they were pretty much my friends since were on the same year. I waved at them and they greeted back. I feigned a smile at them as i walk directly to my room. I immediately fixed my things, after i was settled , i walked back to where i found Momoko and Yuki and they asked me if i would be on the House's Quidditch meeting tonight.

"There's a Quidditch meeting?" I looked at them as they both nodded. I am one of the Tengu's Beaters, yknow those who hits the damn bludgers. I wanted to be the Keeper, but i cant take the Captain's spot since he havent graduated yet. I thanked them for telling me about the meeting before going back to my room and grabbed my purse. I immediately left the common room and ran to the palace's main hall. We usually do our meet-ups there, as i was walking, i passed by some other students from different houses, Kappa, Kitsune and Tanuki. I looked at them with my poker face even though some of them are familiar since i guess most of them is on the same year as me. Gosh, i should really learn how to be friendly, anyway, i arrived at the main hall, no one is around then suddenly there was a loud bang making the huge doors closed.

I immediately grabbed my wand, all our wands here are made by cherry wood and mine is mixed with Unicorn's hair and Akita's blood. I gripped it and prepares myself, i havent had a duel for 2 months, and duh im just on my second year. Its so dark, i cant see anything but i can hear footsteps. Damn, where is it coming from? I turned around and swoosh my wand, i need light. "Akira maxima", its a charm, a light creation spell used to light the tip of the wand. I walked to see who dared to play a prank on me when suddenly, i felt hands covering my eyes. I struggled and tries to let go from these hands, what if this person is trying to kill me. I felt my kokoro beating so fast then i started yelling and kicking the person behind me, and that person lets go then i tried to open my eyes, breathing harshly. The main hall's lights are all turned on, everything is clear already then i turned to face the person trying to kill me then i blinked my eyes again. "Eh?!"

I almost dropped my jaw when i saw the person in front of me, brunette-haired tall guy with that James Dean daydream look at his eyes, smiling like an enormous dumbo, our Captain~ Junnosuke Taguchi.

"Senpaiiiiiii~! If i only know how to throw a Cruciatic curse, i wouldve done it to you, yknow". I shrugged as i tried to compose myself.

"I was just playing with you,Nyan". He laughed as if he just won in a lottery or something then the other Quidditch Members appeared.

"Hey Nyan" Daiki Arioka, Jun Shison and Tina Tamashiro, our 3, always synchronized Chasers chorused as they greeted me.

"Yo!" My partner as a Beater, Yuto Nakajima greeted me with his kakkoi aura, then at the back giggling as she waved at me is our Seeker, the Kawaii angel but when she's on the field, she's a devil, Maika Yamamoto.

I smiled at them and greeted them in return.

"Okay, since we're complete. Lets start our meeting". Our Captain/Keeper Junno uttered as he grabbed his notes.

"As you all know, there will be a tournament and our first rival is the House of Kappa". Captain started as he looked at everyone.

"We should prepare and train a lot since we all know, that Kappa's Quidditch team are pretty good and ive heard they have a new Seeker".

"Eh? Who is it Captain?" Maika asked as she tried to carefully open the chocolate frog's box.

"He's a 2nd year student, Shintaro Morimoto " He read his notes and looked at us.

"Since its the first game of this year, we should give them a good fight right?" He looked at us again feigning a playful grin.

1st day of the new school year, everyone is excited. Wearing the robes that was given to us, as you all know, we we're given white robes when we were first accepted, then this robes will change its color when the wearer gained more experiences. When you see someone wearing a gold robe, that means theyre amazing aurors. So me, im on my second year, and im wearing a super pale pink robe, not because im turning into an amazing witch but its just because we won 3 matches in Quidditch last year. This year i want my robe to change its color but i feel like im a boring person. I wanna do something great, but someone like me seems to not be destined to greatness.

I walked out of the common room, i saw Suzu Hirose dropped her books, so i walked towards her and picked them up. She smiled shyly as i hand her books to her. I smiled in return and continue to walk my way to my "Transfiguration" class. I entered the room and of course, i saw an owl on the table. Professor Koyama Keichiro, transformed to an owl again. I heard Kato telling us stories that he always do that during Transfiguration class. I searched for a desk, the only available seat is beside a guy and he seems familiar, i guess we're on the same year. I sat beside him and he looked at me as he put his things aside to give me some space. Eyes like stabs me in my kokoro, thick eyebrows which really suits that evil eyes, and an aura of a full blooded Japanese auror. Why does my heart suddenly beat too fast ne? Is he scaring me? I tried to compose myself as i grabbed my quill and ink, then gulped.

"Hi, Masaki Suda desu". He muttered.

I kinda froze when i heard his voice, i cant look at him. I heard somehow huffed, maybe he thinks im a goddamn anti-social.

"Im from Tanuki, and maybe thats the reason why you dont want to speak to me, but its okay."

I can see him in peripheral view looking annoyed so, i gripped on my quill and shrugged as i face him.

"No thats not it, Uhm. Nyaro Kojima desu of Tengu. Yoroshiku." I bowed then immediately turned to Koyama-sensei as i heard his voice.

"Goodmorning class..."

I can sense Masaki-kun smiling as we continue to do some stuff in Transfiguration.

We talked from time to time and i felt comfortable beside him.

As we heard the bell rang, i immediately grabbed my books and smiled palely at him.

"Hey, do you wanna go our next class together?" He said with that annoying but adorable grin on his face.

"Uhm... actually i gotta go grab to my room first. You go ahead". I lied as i ran out from the class, leaving him dumbfoundedly.
