Kieran is autistic and you can't change my mind!

Okay, I KNOW that I'm not the only one who holds this headcanon...but I wanted to do an analysis on Kieran anyway, especially since my best friend @sinnohanvulpix said she'd love to see me do one. Credit to her for all the screenshots used btw. The GIFs on the other hand were either found on Google Images or created by me using gifrun.com and these YouTube videos:

I did not use my own footage for this at all...as proof here's what MY character in the game looks like...he has my real name but I tried to make him look like Orange which is why he has the orange eyes 😅

Okay, now without further ado, let's get started with the analysis!

First, Kieran has a CLEAR special interest in Ogerpon, he admires and looks up to her, he was obsessed with the story of the ogre, he was always trying to go to her den and meet her, he has a meltdown when Ogerpon chooses the player over him, etc. Carmine even says that Kieran "really really REALLY likes the ogre" and that made me think, "Ah! Special interest!"

And then at the end of the Teal Mask he gains a new special interest in getting stronger to beat the player...and he hyperfocuses HARD on that...to the point of it being detrimental to both his physical and mental health, as he was doing nothing but training during that time...he barely ate, barely slept, just trained...and that is not healthy. It's a rare example of media showcasing a special interest being unhealthy and absolutely CONSUMING one's life, and the consequences do actually show for it.

Kieran is very introverted and doesn't know how to make friends very well. I actually think the player is his first friend considering his surprised reaction when the player says they consider him a friend, and following this, he quickly becomes a bit...too attached to the player, as he doesn't quite understand how friendships work.

(This is also such a neurodivergent way to say "I'm so happy I finally have a friend")

He also struggles socially, as is a requirement for autistic people to qualify for a diagnosis. Kieran specifically has a hard time reading social cues, he struggles with making eye contact, he has clear anxiety when talking to people as proven by his little stutter he has at times.

He also struggles with social and emotional processing (and might have alexithymia as well due to his sudden huge outbursts of emotion), and he also struggles with initiating conversation as well, as seen when he tries to talk to Penny at the League Club. They both have no idea how to even start a conversation with each other and it's honestly pretty adorable seeing the two quiet adorkable kids trying their best to hold conversation. I get it, you two, initiating conversation is really difficult for me too.

Also the way they try to start the conversation by talking about the weather...that's really funny and ironic to me because that's what NTs do all the time. NTs always use the weather as a small-talk conversation starter but NDs like me (and Kieran and Penny too apparently) just don't get that stuff.

(These two are so neurodivergent it's great and I love them both 🥺)

Kieran also has four in-game animations that I personally see as stimming. The first one is him tapping his fist against his hip when he's thinking or nervous.

(Focus your attention to his hand here and you'll see it.)

The second one is him playing with a strand of loose hair, usually when he's nervous.

(The little nervous side glance at the player is relatable and adorable 🥺)

The third one is a more agitated stim that he only does ONCE in the entire game...and that is tapping the front of his foot on the ground. I do that myself when I'm agitated or impatient, somehow it's comforting, especially since for some reason I really like the way my shoes sound when I tap them on the ground... especially since I got my brand new Infernape-themed shoes, they sound extra satisfying because they're brand new.

(This is not the way most people tap their foot...I've never seen an NT do it like this...only other NDs such as myself and one of my brothers)

The fourth and final one is, unfortunately, a stress stim...Kieran runs his hands very fast through his hair and it also looks like, to me anyway as someone who has self-injurious stims myself, that he is digging his nails into his scalp as well while doing that. I do something similar myself, though on top of running my hands through my hair and digging my nails into my scalp, I also pull at my hair...yeah... self-injurious stims are no joke...and I'm kinda glad Kieran's autism coding brings attention to that aspect of autism...at least in my eyes as someone who does those things myself.

(He's in so much stress here, poor kid 😔)

Another aspect of autism that I'm surprised and kinda glad that Kieran exhibits as an autistic-coded character is meltdowns and shutdowns. Kieran has actual meltdowns in the game! This is something we have never seen in such an in-your-face way in any Pokémon game, and as someone who regularly has meltdowns myself, it hit me in the feels whenever I saw him having them. His first meltdown is in the Teal Mask when he steals the Teal Mask and runs off to Loyalty Plaza where he battles the player. He yells at Carmine and the player for treating him like an outcast...which is unfortunately something that happens to a lot of autistic people, myself included. Kieran screams at the player and Carmine for for lying to him while doing his stress stim, before running up to the Lousy Three's shrine and punching it, without any regard for his safety, which is also something autistic people may do during meltdowns...I know I have no regard for my safety during mine. After that's all over he gives the mask back to the player and goes home, leaving the player to talk to Carmine alone, who says that she's worried and thinks it's just "teen angst". When I saw that I was like, "...Uh, Carmine...I don't think it's just that, I think your brother is neurodivergent and really needs a lot of help and support because he's struggling a lot right now..."

His second meltdown is also in the Teal Mask, when he wants Ogerpon to go with him but Ogerpon wants to go with the player...Kieran can't process that and doesn't understand how to take Ogerpon's feelings into account, instead demanding the player to battle him for the right to be Ogerpon's partner. He collapses on all fours after being defeated again, and it gets worse...he looks like he's crying while the player battles Ogerpon in order to catch her. After the player catches her, Kieran wonders why he can't be like the player, and runs off crying, locking himself in his room for the rest of the story. The end of the Teal Mask has him doing his stress stim while being consumed by a new special interest in a very detrimental way...that interest being becoming so strong that no one can defeat him...including the player.

Kieran's third meltdown is in the Indigo Disk, after the player defeats him in the championship match. That meltdown is a full-on cutscene, where it is CLEAR to see his spiraling mental state through the visuals, and he holds his hands on his head like he has a headache while trying to process the fact that he lost to the player AGAIN (which is also relatable as someone who struggles with processing difficulties myself...it really does give headaches and it is one of the worst feelings when I just can't process what's going on around me or the emotions I feel or anything really)...he collapses to his knees and looks like he's breathing very hard as he is so upset and distressed at this loss. It is definitely one of the most heartbreaking scenes for me because this is a CLEAR CUT MELTDOWN in my eyes and it hits me in the feels like a TRUCK to watch that cutscene.

Also, in the Terapagos fight, Kieran has a bit of a shutdown for a bit, standing there frozen, thinking he's useless and can't do anything right (which is relatable as I have regular shutdowns as well, and I also constantly feel like I'm a failure of a human being who can't do anything right)...but let me tell you, when the player finally gets him to snap out of it and convinces him to help and he opens his eyes revealing that the light is back in his eyes as well as visible tears...I cheered (and teared up myself). My boy was back, and I was so happy.

(When I first saw the tears I was like, "NOOOO don't cry Kieran! 😢)

Also in the Indigo Disk, Kieran seems completely different and "no longer like his usual self". His autistic traits are (mostly) nowhere to be seen as he becomes much more serious, angry, assertive,and aggressive. I personally see this as a persona he puts on by masking, which is common for autistic people to do. I myself can't mask, but Kieran definitely seems to be masking here by putting on this persona in order to get stronger and seem stronger as a person as well. This is NOT his real self, this is a FACADE!

We see him start to drop the mask again in Area Zero when he says it seems like they're in a spy movie or something and how cool that is, but once the crack in his mask is pointed out he immediately puts it back on.

After everything in the under depths ends, and you go back to Blueberry Academy, he drops the mask again completely, and goes back to his real, adorkable, relatable self...and stays that way from then on, which made me so relieved and happy.

(This is my favorite cutscene in the entire DLC because of how adorable it is and also how neurodivergent Kieran is being here while apologizing for all he did 🥺)

In conclusion, I think Kieran is a great example of an autistic-coded character who has many relatable traits, and also does a good job showcasing some of the more "unpleasant and challenging behaviors and traits" (NTs use that terminology a lot, not me... that's how NTs unfortunately view NDs a lot of the time) of autism. I used to be afraid of him during the post-Teal Mask pre-Indigo Disk era but that was my trauma and PTSD talking (I talked about the emotional rollercoaster Kieran's story arc took me on in another post from last year after I finally worked up the courage to play the Indigo Disk...feel free to check that out too if you'd like). Now though I can wholeheartedly say that I love and appreciate Kieran a lot as a character, and his relatability is definitely a big part of why he is a big comfort character for me now (please Pokémon put him in Pokémon Masters EX, PLEASE I will literally cry from joy if he gets added to the game)!

After being in the lead for the majority of the match, it had ultimately been Kieran's mistake that lead to their opponent scoring a late equalizer. Kieran had never been bothered more by an on-pitch mistake, and for the first time ever he felt uneasy about sharing a hotel room with Andy. His captain.... Andy clearly was in a foul mood after giving the victory away so late in the match, and Kieran felt wholly and fully responsible for it. They had been back in their hotel room for over an hour, of which all had been spent in silence. It was unlike the both of them to go so long without speaking, and the silence felt very uncomfortable. "Okay, I'm going to address the elephant in the room, here." Andy was the one to break the silence. He and Kieran each lay on their beds. Kieran's head snapped up at his captain, startled by the announcement. This was it... Now he would be getting told off for his mistake, for the loss of this match. "You're awfully quiet tonight." Andy hadn't picked up on the flash of fear in Kieran's eyes. "Even after a lost match, you're not usually like this. So what's going on?" Kieran hesitated. Andy was his captain, but first and foremost he was his friend whom he could tell everything to. Still, he hesitated now. Where Andy had been fairly relaxed up till now, he tensed up at Kieran's lack of response. "What?" Kieran took a deep breath before he finally spoke. "It's the goal... my mistake led to it." "I know," Andy answered matter-of-factly, looking like he was expecting more to come. "So..." Kieran was taken aback by Andy's lack of response mostly. "You're not mad at me?" Andy shook his head and offered a friendly smile. "Would it help if I yelled at you and chased you around the room? Cause I'll do it if you want me to." "No," Kieran chuckled, "I just figured you wouldn't be best pleased with me." Andy sat up, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed and had a good look at his friend. "So you spent the last hour in silence, being afraid of me?" Kieran shrugged a little embarrassed. "Maybe." "Kieran, laddie." Andy shook his head in disbelief. "There will be a time to evaluate the match, but now is not it. Whatever happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. And when we're back in the room, we're roommates. Right now, I am not your captain, I am your friend." A weight was lifted off Kieran's shoulders when he heard those words. "Thank you," he smiled shyly, "I guess I needed to hear that." "Good," Andy nodded, "now, for some fun: wanna play a game of cards?" A broad smile spread across Kieran's face now. "Are you sure? You know how I always beat you at that." "I've practiced!" Andy smirked. "Alright." Kieran joked, "well, show me." He happily joined in the game with Andy, and immediately forgot all about the match. Ok @the-wckd-powers inspired me to make this. These are my tsc neurodivirgent headcannins based partly on my observations from the books and also partly just vibes.

I'm not including the canon stuff like Ty bring autistic or Jace having C-pstd because.. it's canon or at least basically canon.

Christopher: I know he's cannonly nd but I personally hc him as autistic/adhd.

Lucie: Listen I personally feel like she's also autistic/adhd.

Alastair: We saw this one coming. C-PTSD. I also feel depression as well. Also someone said he's autistic and now I can't unsee it. My boy is in fact autistic. Argue with the wall.

Matthew: Depression. I wouldn't say any ptsd because I just don't really think that's the case. He has trauma sure, but trauma does not equal ptsd. Also someone who has bpd said bpd and I totally see it. For those of you who don't know, bpd is categorized by difficulties in regulating emotion. (As I understand it. I'm not diagnosed.) Also by very intense often stormy interpersonal relationships.

Clary: I hc as autistic/adhd with very minimal evidence just vibes. Sometimes you look at a character and are like... yeah you're not nt.

Alec: MY BOY IS AUTISTIC! ARGUE WITH THE WALL!

Magnus: Oh yeah he definitely has C-PTSD. By the way if you didn't know, c-ptsd is complex post traumatic stress disorder. It is categorized by exposure to REPEATED trauma, as in continuous abuse or neglect. PTSD is just for one single traumatic event.

Will: He definitely experienced depression throughout his teen years. He seems to be fine now in tlh.

Jem: I can't decide on PTSD or C-PTSD. The thing with his parents when he was s kid was one event but you could argue that living with the disease for years after was traumatic enough to give him C-PTSD. Idk. But he doesnt really show many signs of trauma after TID? (This is my issue with CC's portrayal of trauma btw. It ends when their story arc ends or they get together with their love interest. But whatever.)

Henry: Listen, I know everyone says autistic but personally I feel like he has adhd on account if the fact that he is hyper oblivious to most things and has the ability to hyper focus on his experiments.

Charlotte: GAD. Generalized anxiety disorder. Look, this women has been running the institute since she was 18, looking after Will and Jem, and Jesse's ungrateful ass. Then she became the first female consul at 23 and now she's dealing with all the misogyny from the Clave as well as being a mother of two boys. Matthew is....Matthew and Charles is.....Charles. There is no way this women didn't develop an anxiety disorder. Argue with the wall.

Kit: ADHD and C-PTSD. Obviously. I could also make a case for depression too.

Mark: ADHD. As for as I'm concerned this is basically canon. C-PTSD as well.

Kieran: Ok here's a bit of a wild card but to me it makes sense. BPD. Bpd is the result of trauma which tracks. Kieran's emotional needs were definitely not met as a child which could definitely result in emotional dysregulation as well as an intense fear of abandonment and the desire to do anything possible to prevent that abandonment.

Cristina: GAD. No evidence just vibes.

Ty: Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia because yes I am projecting but also they are both comorbid with autism. Ty is also cannonly really bad at math and has issues with writing, often pressing way too hard on the pencil which is a dysgraphia thing. Also I'm pretty sure he along with the rest of the Blackthorns are supposed to cannonly have ptsd but I don't really see it with him tbh.

Emma: PTSD.

Julian: C-PTSD.

Tavvy: Actually I would argue he has C-PTSD because he kept being exposed to terrible shit at such a young age.

Dru: C-PTSD.

Ash: C-PTSD.

Helen: C-PTSD obviously and also depression. I just get the vibes.

Jaime: I see him has autistic. I could be projecting but to me he's just giving off vibes.

Livvy: Autistic. Ty can't be the only one in seven siblings I call bullshit. Also it just makes sense go look up @the-wckd-powers and I's asks about this. Also ngl I don't feel C-PTSD for her either tbh. The twins are def traumatized but they don't seem to have PTSD.

Ok that's it. As far as I'm considered everyone else is nt. I might change my mind later on though.

Jordan Pickford - crackhead, shouldn’t be first choice keeper

Nick Pope - good

Dean Henderson - our baby!! What a great season he had until now! Should be england’s first choice keeper if he keeps his form, also I hope one day he’s going to be united’s keeper!

John Stones - no

Danny Rose - real person, he says things how they are and isn’t afraid to speak up. His times as a player are over tho

Harry Maguire - great defender, gets too much stick because of his price tag when he has been doing well for country and club. Has been a great captain and I rate him as a person too.

Kieran Trippier - no idea how he’s doing at atleti but the last time I heard him doing something useful was at wc 2018 scoring that free kick. Good for him getting revenge at Liverpool in cl.

Ben Chilwell - I probably don’t have to tell you that I absolutely love him and would give my life for him because I already wrote an essay about him saying that. I don’t really rate him as a player tho, he’s mediocre at best but he can still improve cause he’s still young.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - good player

Joe Gomez - good player I guess

Tyrone Mings - I didn’t like him because he stepped on ibra’s head and that’s literally all I knew about him lol. But since he’s been at villa he’s doing a great job and is probably one of their better players. Good for him getting a call-up

Fikayo Tomori - don’t think i’ve seen him play enough tbh

Jordan Henderson - I don’t rate him as a player but as a person, he seems like a top human being.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - good player but all i know about him that he’s Perrie’s wag

Harry Winks - slightly above average player for me but I used to fancy him lmaoo

James Maddison - great player, however, I don’t like his attitude, he’s on that slight line between arrogant and confident, not my thing. Also dresses like he robbed a gucci store

Raheem Sterling - I admire how he’s always speaking up against racism and he’s a very good player but dives too much for me

Harry Kane - very good player but often injured, unfortunately.

Marcus Rashford - can’t express how much I love him!!! Great player on and off the pitch, what he does for charity is simply amazing!!

Jadon Sancho - I don’t fancy him but I think he’s a hilarious person lmaoo. Also unbelievable player, if we don’t get him at united i’m gonna cry.

MAKING RUGBY LEAGUE LESS SHI(*T

It has been suggested by many experts that the past 12 months have been amongst the most challenging in living memory. That said, many experts also suggested that COVID would claim over 100K Aussie lives and that the property market would fall by more than 30%. The Sea Eagle ponders as to what those experts are doing now?

It is however fair to say that unless you are a supporter of the Filthy Wrestlers, love a lock down, enjoy being housebound and take pleasure at being jabbed with sharp needles, 2020 has been a pretty shi(*t time for most. Add to this the demise of President Trump and there is very little prospect in making anything great again any time soon. With that in mind, the Sea Eagle’s mantra in 2021, to steal a line from Auto Expert’s John Cadogan will be to “make things less shi(8t”.

As is the case each year, for every team in the NRL, Round 1 is welcomed with unbridled yet in most cases false optimism. For Manly fans never a truer word has been uttered.

A sunny afternoon at the SCG with Manly taking on the Roosters could well be a throwback to the halcyon days of the 1970’s and 80’s, with Manly expected to give the latte sipping transit lounge Roosters a real hammering. Unfortunately, the main difference in circa 2021, is that Manly are no longer the powerhouse force that they once were and the Roosters certainly are a force to be reckoned with.

It has been well documented that Manly have an abysmal record in Round 1 in the modern era, having not won an opener in over 8 years. The way Manly started suggested that nothing was to change this year, as the Roosters opened the scoring after only 3 minutes when James Tedesco leapt over a grounded Ruben Garrick. Young Garrick is already starting to exhibit traits of Manly wingers of late (think Horhay Torfua) in that they have inherent weakness under the high ball and struggle to get off the ground when contesting bombs.

Thankfully for Garrick (and Manly), he made amends minutes later when he was the recipient of a deft Kieran Foran offload to even up the scores. Manly welcome back Foran after his well-documented injury and personal struggles at the Eels, Warriors and Dogs. There can be no doubting that they don’t go better when they leave the nest (Jarrod Warea-Hargraves excepted) thus The Sea Eagle will be keenly monitoring Foran’s form to see if they do indeed go better when they return to the nest – only time will tell!

From then on it was all downhill for Manly, with the remainder of the half showing what happens when a top ranked team (i.e. The Roosters) takes on one of the also-rans (i.e. Manly). The Roosters ran roughshod down Manly’s left edge running in 5 tries to take a 26-4 lead at the break.

The second half was no better for Manly. Inept in defence and showing nothing in attack they were at the mercy of the Roosters, who rarely got out of second gear. Hat tricks to Tedesco and Brett Morris saw the Roosters run out 46-4 victors. Only poor goal kicking prevented a further blowout.

Blowout score lines are becoming common place in recent times with Manly regularly conceding 30 and 40 points in a game, a far cry from the golden eras when it was Manly dishing out the pastings. It would appear already that Manly have failed to adapt to the way rugba league is played in 2021 and are rooted (think also he word starting with F) in a style of play that worked at best - 5 years ago. Quite frankly, this Manly performance was an embarrassment, mirrored only by the ill-feted Peter Beattie era at the helm of the NRL (personal opinion).

As for Kieran Foran, he went OK and at least he saw out the game, but he is a shadow of the player he was when steering Manly to premiership glory in 2011. Not surprising, but no-one can out run father time, even when returning to the nest.

Where to now for Manly? Next week it’s the Bunnies at Lottoland, and we can only but hope that Manly are a lot less shi(*7t than they were in Round 1.

With all that said, blame has to be placed at the Manly football management in not recruiting at all well for season 2021 . For some odd reason after hooker Manase Fainu found himself the subject of some fairly serious charges involving assault and having a knife (and thus unable to play), no attempts were made to actually obtain a top shelf number 9 that could actually play in season 2021.

The Manly forward pack also has a sameness about it and the back line does not look much better, and if you take out Tommy Turbo, it looks fair dinkum pedestrian .

If this embarrassing display of form continues, the Sea Eagle will not hesitate to name names of players who deserve to leave the nest and predictably go a lot worse, far worse than the appalling form they are currently displaying.

NRL will struggle to argue Folau isn’t fit and proper for rugby league

For the Sea Eagle’s part, he must confess to having an internal chuckle when one thinks about the ludicrous concept of an NRL player actually having to be a fit and proper person, in order to play rugby league.

Consider these players who apparently have passed the NRL test of fit and proper person, (and the list is far from exhaustive):

Russell Packer (served gaol time for a particularly ugly assault incident)

Matthew Lodge ( representing the NSW under-20s side when he was given a 3-week suspension after he was televised with the word "CU*&NT" written on his wrist strapping. On 19 October 2015, Lodge was sacked by the Tigers after being arrested in New York City and thereafter entering a guilty plea, to some sort of break enter (and possibly worse) in a young woman’s apartment

Todd Carney (too many misdemeanours to mention until he overstepped the mark with the infamous bubbler incident)

Mitchell Pearce (simulated sex act with canine broadcast on national TV)

Josh Addo Carr (illegal firearms incident and breach of Covid 19 protocols 2020)

Latrell Mitchell (apparent breach of Covid 19 protocols 2020)

Corey Norman & James Segeyaro Street Fight (off season 2020/21)

Sony Bill Williams (walked out on Bulldogs contract to play somewhere else - then welcomed back to the NRL with open arms in 2013 and later years with all forgotten).

Now the Sea Eagle does not cast judgement on any of these players. To take a biblical bent a-la- Izzy Folau, let he without fault cast the first stone. After all, this is Rugby League we are talking about, and on any objective analysis it can only be viewed as a game which takes a particular type of person to play it, and the Sea Eagle would suggest that the NRL is not in the fortunate position of being particularly fussy about who plays. If they were, there may well be no one left to actually play the game.

Which is why it is difficult to understand how the NRL would think, given what Israel Folau has allegedly said and done (something to do with homosexual slurs and other slurs about people involved in adultery, fornication, and drinking etc all of whom are apparently going to go to hell ) - is any basis to come to the conclusion that he is not a fit and proper person to play Rugby League.

If anything, he is absolutely a fit and proper person to be playing rugby League. Particularly given those mentioned above (and others), have already been considered fit and proper persons to play the game.

The Sea Eagle implores the NRL to reconsider its stance in this regard and to see if a place can be found in one of the 16 NRL teams for Izzy to play. Expressing a particularly misguided religious view and opinion (personal opinion), it should be said, in and of itself is hardly a basis for preventing someone from playing Rugby League on the fit and proper person analysis. See above player list for that.

Intelligent foresight and a detailed consideration of the consequences of one’s actions, can hardly be said to be a mandatory requirement for any Rugby League player. Nor should it be.

THE TIGERS – DO THEY GO BETTER WHEN THEY LEAVE THE DEN ?

In Rd 1 the Tigers were towelled by the Raiders 30 to 12. Sure it was a better performance than Manly put in, but it was embarrassment, nonetheless.

Over the coming weeks the Sea Eagle will conduct his own internal analysis as to whether the reverse of the Manly concept (ie they never go any better when they leave the nest ) applies to the Tigers (ie they always go better when they leave the Den).

One troubling feature of this analysis is that Manly regrettably have 3 ex Tiger players in their forward pack (who were clearly out muscled by the Roosters in Rd 1 2021) and so it may well be the case, that the misery of useless form once they leave the Den, can continue regardless. In other words, care should be exercised when taking on an ex Tigers player, because there is no guarantee they will go better, even if they leave the circus that is Tigers Central.

That said, James Tedesco is a clear example of a player who went way better when he left the Den. The analysis will continue and the Sea Eagle will report in due course as to a likely 2021 Tigers team comprised of players who once played for the Tigers but are still playing in 2021 NRL, and whether that team would be better than the current crop.

Thanks so much for the ask Zia! Sorry this took so long to answer.

1. Who was your first OC?

I think my first OC was Janessa. I just remember thinking about how I wanted Kit to have a bestie and I was watching a lot of trans creaters for the first time (I orginally told myself it was for educational purposes lol) and I had the idea to make her a trans girl and then everything just sparked from there.

12. Who is an oc that isn't yours but you really like a lot?

Ummm *frantically tries to remember the names of other people's ocs* I really like your autistic character in particular. I think her name is Neirne? Sorry I'm crap at remembering names. But I really like her.

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you and explain why.

Ok well technically they all mean a lot to me, but I wanna talk about Gianna in particular here. Gianna Blackthorn-Rosales is the eldest daughter of Kierarktina and an absolute mess (affectionate).

My girl has bipolar disorder and a lot of trauma. Being the eldest daughter of such an iconic well known and importent trio as well as being the one mentally ill child out of all the nt kids Kierarktina have has not served her well at all. She's Kieran and Cristina's biological daughter, half fae and half shadowhunter.

She is a very loving and passionate person and she loves music, but she can also be quite temperamental and chaotic. She's a literally similar to Alyssa but more raw? I guess would be the right word? Mostly she just wants to be safe and loved and to not feel so alone or like a burden. I'm not exactly sure what her enneagram is yet.

She means a lot to me because I am also that mentally ill bitch that feels like a burden to their family. ✌

25. The OC that resembles you the most? Probably Alyssa or my version of Lizzie. Although I am not as brave or chaotic as either of them.

40. Any fond memories linked to your characters?

I used to take a lot of inspiration for Alyssa and Ty's relationship from my relationship with my ex. We've always had a muddled line blurring complicated very autistic relationship built on a foundation of "I just need you". We haven't talked in awhile bit we're still friends (I think 😳) and I care about and miss them a lot.

A lot of Alyssa's lines to Ty are things they said to me, especially the jokes and the majority of the fic Enough is based on a real conversation we had. There's a lot of pain associated with their friendship for me because there's a lot of pain surrounding my relationship with my ex, but also a lot of love and joy. And fundamentally Ty and Alyssa is just me bottling love between two autistic people.

Because I can almost never seem to hold onto it in real life. And when I do I always tell myself itself only a matter if time before I screw it up.

But anyways enough trauma dumping lol.

44. What's something that you like about your OCs in general?

I honestly don't think I have a single cishet OC and that's very iconic of me I think.

46. Do people ever accuse you of treating your OCs badly?

Actually surprisingly enough, no. I have gotten multiple "Alyssa go to therapy" comments, which I agree with. But no one has accused me of torturing my OCs. Yet.
