i understand that the larger a fandom is, the more annoying it becomes, and the more bad faith twitterinas it attracts. and the creator doesn’t deserve that, and is already concerned, and jokes about making the show bad on purpose if the fandom gets too bad.

Okay so as with Dylan I hated Jacob when I first got into TQ but it was different bc it wasn't an immediate switch-flip like me instantly hating Dylan in his first scene (...and then flipping the complete other way to adoring him with embarrassing speed) nah I was just... normal level of neutral but his dialogue kept chipping away at me like -1 hp every word, and then the fucking van happened and I...... quite honestly wouldn't have blinked if he was eaten by a meat dog ("aw... anyway"). Genuinely despised him for a while there.

I still want to kick his ass frequently but like... in the "I love you but I'm going to strangle you if you don't shut the fuck up in the next five seconds" way my brother inspires.

if I wrote jjk fic (we dont' talk about my 500w rage fic) I'd write one where Sukuna was indeed correct about Gojo having the last finger and he eats it, (creating two sukuna's which is interesting in its own right) but more importantly allows a gojo with altered everything to crop back up and probably still ultimately die cos now he has sukuna in him but means it could be more narratively satisfying (for me)

also yeah sorry I kind of do have an issue with the sort of double fakeout of vault 4, I'm definitely not against the idea of a vault like that where they can maintain a genuinely fairly peaceful society despite the way the vault was designed, but idk I feel like it's a weird move because it means that Lucy's blind optimism towards vaults is right, even if she still learns about the concept of the vaults being experiments. so she's kinda had the seed planted but she hasn't actually learned anything because in the end the people in the vault really did mean them no harm, even if their origins weren't what she thought they were. but they implied SO HARD that the vault was evil in a bunch of different ways - I thought we were gonna find out they were drugging Max's food or some shit, not to MENTION the part where they all drank from a bowl of blood of some kind at the weird cult thing - and it was all for nothing because they were actually just nice. like again I'm not against this as a vault concept especially in a game (as a gamer you go in expecting the vault to be as fucked up as all the other ones you've seen, you see some shit and maybe even start shooting only to discover your initial impression was wrong) but I don't really care for the way the plot twist untwisted, even if as a fan of the franchise I would have seen it coming if the vault just was evil. the only vaults we've seen are 33 and 32! the average viewer doesn't necessarily know that all vaults are experiments on unknowing subjects, and I really can't imagine this was the best way to find out. maybe I'd've called it predictable if they had to fight their way out or something instead but idk, as it is they spend the better part of the episode building up how ominous and scary this vault is and then when they finally have Lucy restrained they just... explain that well yeah the vault was built this way but we don't do that anymore and then they fake it out AGAIN with the fake execution and THEN they don't even REALIZE max has the fusion core!!! so that also amounts to nothing (until they get out of the vault- I didn't have an issue with how they handled it after it was clear they got away with it, I just don't think max necessarily SHOULD have gotten away with it, or at least it seems like someone ought to have made the connection)

thank god finally the effect of seeing so much fandom hatred for a character has worked in my favour. At first i was neutral on romancing in bg3 but now im dead set in romancing lae'zel no matter the cost
