What I love about Empire Records is that it's a movie about a dude in his late 30s who has to run a record store and babysit roughly twelve teenagers who are all simultaneously having the worst/best day of their lives. The entire film is jumping from one crisis or catastrophe to the next and it's so much fun.

So I Married an Axe Murderer has a sequence late in the film involving a thunderstorm. It starts with a couple of very mild strikes, but the sequence, which is intercut with a few different scenes, ends up using bright and extreme strobes.
A few scenes take place in moving vehicles, and there is some peril at extreme heights. The opening and closing shots are filmed from helicopters. There is infrequent use of mildly shaky cameras.
Flashing Lights: 8/10. Motion Sickness: 3/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: The main character is jump-scared several times.
