Thanks for tagging me @captain-kraken & @writernopal <3 I'm tagging @hraewordsmith @kirkshiresloss @zettelkaestchen to put a playlist on shuffle and share the first 10 songs that come up without cheating! ;-) Also this is an open tag so whoever wants to do that, tag me in your post
I put my "liked songs" Spotify playlist on shuffle which consists of 2700 songs and now that I see what comes up I can't even say I have a taste in music, I just like random songs haha also beware of my oversharing of why I like these songs because I feel like I have to explain myself XD
This is a perfect mash-up! Miley Cyrus is an icon and I also love "Where is my mind?" by The Pixies (and the end scene of Fight Club), but if someone told me a few years ago that Miley Cyrus would perform a mash-up of her song "We can't stop" and "Where is my mind?" on stage, I couldn't believe that it would turn out so awesome.
Solar-based hip-hop based on sun-drunk sounds! I have high hopes for her, she's still a newcomer and her music style is so unique.
Balkan Beats from Germany <3 also yes, we are still here to tell our stories!
Two of my favourite German singer-songwriter bands (Milky Chance & AnnenMayKantereit) having a jam session with Suzanne Vega's song, and it's ... it is perfection! I like it more than the original. The voices of the lead singers are raspy and sexy, but you can also hear them smiling while singing, and that makes it so much better.
This song still makes me cry ... that's all I have to say really, it's perfect fantasy music, but it's also a captivating piece
If you watched the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 you get it. And if you haven't, go watch their winning performance. Yes, Italian rock won the ESC and I am still amazed by that.
This is probably the best German hip-hop song with an actual political message for Christmas. The music video is pure art, you will understand the themes even if you don't speak German ;-)
Arya Lee is a German singer, YouTuber, actor and film director. He fled from Iran and this song is about his refugee trauma. We should reinforce refugee voices and this hip-hop song demands to be heard. I had a roommate who also fled from Iran, so this song has a special place in my hear, because it made me understand better what he had to endure to make it to a safe place.

@nichts-als-sternenstaub made two playlists (or as i like to call it the nichts-als-sternenstaub cassette, side A and side B) out of my challenge so i thought it was only fitting i’d let her know how much i appreciated it! I made an youtube playlist with all the songs and after the cut you can read my thoughts on them.

N/A, Jooyoung . i love it so much!! from the first time i heard it, i liked it so much i had to play it back a couple of times before moving on. i’m really a fan now, have already check a couple of other songs of his and i like them too <3
I am, Bloo . i liked it, it has some good vibes. the more i listen to it the more i like it!
Can't Breathe, Eddie Supa (featuring Jackson Wang & Stan Sono) . i really like it!! The first time i hadn’t noticed Jackson was in it but i started to recognize his voice and had to go check if i was delusional! ahah! very chill and addictive! <3
Heilig, LGoony . it’s a more aggressive tune. i liked the mix, but it's not a favourite (yet, sometimes i need to hear things more to fully appreciate them)

I think there are probably choices that are more fitting but I'm gonna go with the first family that popped into my head - the Weasleys. Strong mom, nerdy dad, more than 2 siblings, household a bit messy 😂😉.

Oof :D Many. I'll list a few titles (and I'm thinking about books I read before I was 11 because otherwise it would be too many...). In no particular order and I will forget some.
- "The Little Vampire" books by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg (part of my dna probably)
- Several books by Astrid Lindgren (Pippi is great but Ronja and Emil will have my heart forever)
- "Max and Moritz" by Wilhelm Busch (💀)
- "Friedrich" by Hans-Peter Richter (i will probably not touch this book ever again!)
- "The Letter for the King" by Tonke Dragt (gosh, love! I know you like this book also, I think?)
- "The Little Witch" by Otfried Preußler (content that inspired my child self to write a movie script. My child self failed.)
- "Frederick' by Leo Lionni (love little mice and rats because of Lionni's mouse books probably)
- the Duckburg comics (also part of my dna i guess)
- "The Knickerbocker Gang" books by Thomas Brezina (Everyone likes the Tiger Team or the "???" back then but I loved these kids and was in love with Axel) (i only liked to the "???" later on)
- "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende (i don't have to tell you that this book is very important ♡)
- "Magic Moon" by the Hohlbeins (I even liked the 2nd part but the 1st one is special to me)
- "Famous Five" books by Enid Blyton (my whole collection is still at our parents' house and I need them in my apartement actually because i miss the Famous Five even though I don't particularly like the storie anymore)
- "Robin Hood", but I don't remember which edition. (It was a ~~grown up one though - I remember that several things about it made me upset 😂 it was a red collector's edition. I learned what the medical procedure of 'bleeding someone' was thanks to this book and I will probably never forget that fact)

Felix Jaehn’s (Jeder für Jeden) is a really nice song!

and i believe that (Pocahontas - AnnenMayKantereit) and (Barfuß Am Klavier - AnnenMayKantereit) will really help you improve your german! check all of their songs, they’re my favorite
and Kraftklub (band) are so good, (schüsse in die Luft) is one of their best songs!

Also a tough one. There are many lyrics and songs that have affected my life. The first one that popped into my head was:

It’s from “Hall Of Fame” by The Script. It has affected my life in a positive way on several occasions. The band annenmaykantereit also deserves a mention but I’m not gonna list the dozen others now :)
space: do you have a desk/workspace and how is it organised/not organised?
At work, my office is usually very organized, even though other people don’t always get my method of organizing. At home I currently don’t have a work space. Remote work is done at the table I do everything at and there’s minimal organizing involved these days. That’s because everything I need is on my laptop. My room is pretty messy when my head is messy though - but not regarding work.

The book nearest to me is “Clockwork Angel” by Clare and there page 23 is empty, lol. The other book nearest to me is “Das Schwert der Vorsehung” by Andrzej Sapkowski (”Sword of Destiny”) and on page 23, line 17 it says:
