the mortifying ordeal and sisyphean task of replying back to people after what you convince yourself has been maybe 3 days, maybe almost a week if you'd have to be more honest with the likely amount of time passed from prior experiences

and yet somehow be surprised it's been double the amount of time in reality, and replying back wasn't as terribly energy consuming as the passive poison damage from not getting back yet led you to believe.

and then doing the same thing again because you have crippling executive dysfunction, and doing your best to be gentle and kind to yourself to unlearn beating yourself up about it because it's already hard enough on its own and getting something done, no matter how small, is still something different that is enough in that moment, in the face no change at all

A Fuzzy once again, but this time more with my own take, and in the M&L style because I’ve been enjoying learning it. For my take on him, I chose to make a bit of a composite of all of his past designs, because honestly they were all good in their own way and there’s a little I liked from each. I prefer a pointier look and a bigger build like the golfing goon and movie guido, but I like the sneaky shades of the classic, and the newer lad’s outfit, because you’ll never take the Fix it Felix look from me now. The brown gloves were my own choice, because with that outfit, the classic white gloves don’t suit it at all, and also it’s a nice contrast to the Bros. 

Speaking of classic, boredom led to me checking out Wrecking Crew, and I was NOT expecting puzzles, for some reason? I hated it, but I also loved it, and after so many hours and cheating with the rewind later, I get it now...I get you, Mario. Regardless of his crimes against humanity, I wanna see him make a comeback, the way they dusted off Pauline. I’d say I didn’t realize how much I enjoy the older stuff, but I was and still am OBSESSED with Donkey Kong 94, and Wrecking Crew felt like that game’s predecessor, so despite how ANGRY some of the bs puzzles made me, it gave me that same joy that DK94 does. 

Anyway, I digress. I’m not sure how I did, I look at my design and I feel like I just made a completely different character... Idk, maybe it works, let me know, but either way I’M happy with it and that’s what matters in the end I suppose~ :)c

It’s… so surreal. Like, I know it’s a universal experience and I experience it more than once/here and there, but it’s still kind of weird to see friends/mutuals who either I knew when l was still a minor or they were still minors themselves, to just, change so much (especially after years of not talking to each other).

tonight on: Lydia Notices Something New Every Time! i just noticed that when the headmaster & clothilde get the guys to dump out belle’s laundry barrel, you then see monsieur jean (aka mr. potts!) leading the donkey away off screen.

i never caught that before!! definitely makes me think that belle asked him if she could borrow his donkey. she probably didn’t say for what, because he probably wouldn’t have let her otherwise (but in a kinder way than others. probably just like are “you sure you wanna do that?”). but then when this whole commotion starts up, he looks sort of annoyed/embarrassed as he silently takes the donkey away. like ugh this is what happens when you get involved with the village weird girl🙄

every time i see somebody using a swear or making an even slightly inappropriate or hurtful joke in the family group chat i remember how some people don't have to turn off three quarters of their personality to interact with their family. wacky. how does it feel to live like that

Elden Ring Update that I SWEAR I will eventually draw because SO MUCH happened!!!

First off, beat Astel!!! Yay!!! I went off and grinded a few more levels and upgraded the summon I was using,, Latenna my beloved! I also finished Ranni's quest line!!! Blue wife!!! Yippee!!!

And then I fucked around in Leyndell, made progress despite my best efforts not to, and almost beat Morgott my first try!!! A very good night!!

hehhehe *rubs hands together* truth is: I don’t ship things very often (mind you, this is coming from an aroace that rarely finds enjoyment in romantic content... hell, I prefer relationships that look and feel more like a QPR or a found family). But, I do find enjoyment in the classics like originalshipping/namelessshipping (As long as people write it correctly... sometimes the fandom can be... yikes... and that goes for all ships- but I feel like it can affect this one and preciousmetal the most). 

But in terms of “OH MY GOD I LOVE THESE GUYS REGARDLESS IF ITS IN A ROMANTIC CONTEXT OR NOT!!” I really like scarfshipping... and I really love the stuff people make with the scarvio kids. Like, just seeing fluffy content in general just makes me so incredibly happy and I- UGHH I just love to see what people make. (Plus, I’m not the type of person to start or partake in a shipping war. I don’t have very strong opinions on anything (... except for the... you know... nasty shit that’s just... disgusting.. I shouldn’t have to elaborate... it’s in my dni)).

And as for newreplacementshipping, I can definitely see why people would like it! And I would too, but I personally hc that Lyra is aroace. And I love thinking of them having bestie moments and having fun little sleepovers where they can gossip about anything or pull silly pranks on Ethan (Which they do... a lot). I see them almost like sisters (Much like how I see Ethan and Lyra as sibs or Ethan and Kris as sibs. They’re all like siblings in my mind). But if I take away my hc for a moment, I can see a lot of empowerment between the two and honestly I think they’d thrive in a romantic relationship. I don’t get any toxic vibes!

i follow you because i looove how you portray Loid ofc! you said earlier you struggle with building narrative around speech but i think you do a fantastic job of it! the way you incorporate his (usually!) cool, methodical thinking and the sounds and sights he picks up on makes for rich reading! i've only watched the first,,,two eps of sxf now (im so slow at watching things im sorry fghjk) but from what i see of him i think your interpretation of loid is amazing and your personal takes and headcanons make him even more interesting!
