I HAVE SO MANY OPINIONS RIGHT NOW!!!
LITG S8 | vol X | ep 28
Tumblr media
First of all, Jin definitely HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING on his eyes because ain’t no way he thinks Sienna is pretty. Or, God forbid, hot. I mean 🥲 and she looks like a grandma in her flowery little nightgown yikes 🤣
Tumblr media
MY MC MADE OUT WITH KYLE AND IT WAS THE HOTTEST SHIT EVER! Ok so, first of all the little turning me on with words, bit of roleplay, the whispering - istg I had goosebumps all over my body. And then he pleasures the fuck out of my MC and says this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s too good at what he does. My MC is right, phew 😮‍💨
Cue 💋💍🥧
The way he wants to be the first to have his turn omgg that was the sweetest. I was hoping he didn’t want to kiss me but I was actually MELTING when he said this
Tumblr media
HELL YES I AM, get on them knees and propose to meee 🥹🥹🥹
(Ngl I got the ick when he snogged Sienna but ig his reason was valid. Sienna being smug about it was not it tho 💀)
JIN KISSING SIENNA ✨ROBOTICALLY✨ and Sienna exaggerating again by calling it ✨so hot✨
Tumblr media
Be so for real now, Si Si. That’s just straight up pathetic at this point gee 💀
Side note: I love how Kyle is calling us ‘hey, beautiful’ or ‘hey, gorgeous’. I think it’s so sweet 🥹
BACK TO WHAT MATTERS
Look how happy he was when I accepted his proposal
Tumblr media
Omg I wanted to snog his face offff for this afagahshshd
Kyle and Jin pieing each other - well, that was to be expected so it’s whatever. But what really gave me the ick was when Oakley pied Kyle for no other reason than
Tumblr media
HE’S SO THREATENED BY KYLE LMAOOOO
Tumblr media
And then not Theo calling him out in front of everyone 😭🤣 like, I’m sorry but I always knew Oakley was too good to be true
Tumblr media
I just was a bit confused why Emel didn’t react to this. Like at all 🤣
Onto the next one
LIAM IS A FUCKING DIMWIT! My girl Bea doesn’t deserve to be treated like this, what the actual fuck! And what’s even more disturbing: you’re seriously trying to tell me that SIENNA is a close second when ranking hottest girls??!!! 🤮
Plus, he has the nerve to ‘cram’ the fucking pie in MY face because, and I quote, “I just think you’re pretty overhyped.”
I call bullshit! Thank God Jin was decent enough to defend me and call him by what he is - rubbish.
Anyway. Thanks for letting me vent. This one episode is already more eventful than last week’s whole volume lmao 😂

Catch Up Here
Tumblr media
After a late morning run, Liam entered his quarters. He went directly to the balcony, picking up a hand towel that was sitting on a table, along with his breakfast. He wiped the sweat from his face while lifting the lid off a plate of fruit. There was a knock on his door; he called for them to enter before biting into an apple.
“Morning,” Leo smiled as he met him on the balcony.
“Hello.”
“Morning run on your day off?” Leo asked, and Liam nodded. “Speaking of your day off, that’s why I’m here. I was going to see if you wanted to come help me.”
“With?”
“The guys are moving into their place today. I’m going over to help them get situated. They had all the furniture and shit they bought delivered yesterday.”
Liam’s stance stiffened slightly and he looked away from Leo. “Uh … sure.” Did she come? “Where are they moving?”
“You remember the beach house they were staying in when they came for the tournament?” Liam nodded. “There. A friend of mine owns it and a couple more next to it. I talked to him about them renting, and he said it was fine.”
“Nice.” Why isn’t he mentioning her?
“Great. So I’ll meet you down front in about an hour.”
It had been a month since Liam’s trip to Mykonos when he had run into Alina. In that time he had spoken to her; it was via text message only and just a couple of times. He didn’t bring up her moving, and neither did she. The messages were short, simple “how are you”s, and nothing more.
Liam didn’t ask her if she had made her decision on whether or not to make the move to Cordonia, and Alina didn’t bring it up. And Liam hadn’t asked Leo because he didn’t even tell him that he had run into her during his trip; he didn’t need to give Leo ammunition to nag him.
The truth was, the possibility of Alina coming to Cordonia made Liam nervous. When he was with her in Mykonos, he was beginning to feel something he hadn’t in a long time. It was something he didn’t want to acknowledge and thought he could leave behind when he left. But knowing her moving to Cordonia was a possibility, he did anything but leave it behind. He got into his own head, and Alina had been all he could think about for the past month.
****
Leo glanced over at Liam as they drove over to the beach house; he was tapping his foot and drumming his fingers against his thigh as he stared out the window. “Why are you acting all weird?”
“Huh?” Liam looked over at him.
Leo gave him a curious look. “You’re acting all anxious …”
“I … I’m not. I’m just sitting here.”
Leo laughed. “That was really convincing. What, are you worried the guys are going to give you a hard time?”
“No. Why would I be worried about that?”
“I don’t know … you did see Alina on your trip to Mykonos, soooo …”
Liam’s eyes widened slightly. “How did you-”
“We’re here!” Leo interrupted him, pulling into the driveway.
Liam grumbled under his breath as he and Leo exited the vehicle just as Nikos, Cy, Matteo, and Theo came out of the house. No Alina. “Hey!” Matteo greeted them. “Thanks for coming to help.”
“No problem,” Leo replied. “Where do you want us to start?”
“We’re just unloading the furniture now.” Nikos motioned to a large truck that was parked on the side of the road. “The company left it overnight, so we figured we’d get that emptied out first because they’re coming to pick it up soon.”
****
While helping to unload the truck, Liam didn’t see any signs of Alina. There were no belongings of hers, and no furniture was placed in an unoccupied room. There was nothing, and nothing was said either. As much as he had been worrying about her coming, he felt a pang of disappointment that she didn’t. He wasn’t sure why, but he immediately shrugged it off. It’s for the best.
After unloading all the furnishings from the truck and getting themselves situated in their respective rooms, the guys headed into the kitchen for a small break. “We’ll have to thank your friend again for agreeing to rent to us,” Cy said to Leo as he handed him a drink.
“He was happy to do it.”
“This is a nice place,” Liam stated, looking around the modern kitchen. He moved to the sliding glass door that led to the back deck. “May I?”
“Go for it,” Theo responded.
Liam opened the door and stepped outside. The deck overlooked the beach and had its own private access there. Liam could make out the sounds of the waves crashing against the shoreline as a light sea breeze washed over him.
The sound of the sliding door of the house next door pulled Liam’s attention, and he glanced over and looked away before doing a double-take. There was Alina, draping a towel over the railing. She looked over and chuckled seeing the stunned expression on his face just as Leo stepped outside. “Hey, Ali!”
“Geia, Leo, Liam,” she smiled before turning and walking back inside.
“You knew she was here?”
“Yeah.” Leo took a sip of his drink. “But she wanted to have her own space, so I talked to my friend, who also owns that house, and he said she could rent it.”
Liam’s eyes narrowed. “And you didn’t think to mention it?”
Leo shrugged casually. “You didn’t ask.”
“You are such a dick,” Liam shook his head.
Leo laughed, clapping Liam’s shoulder. “You should go over there and see if she needs any help.” Liam gave Leo a look. “If you won’t do it, I will. Do you really want me over there with her by myself? Who knows what sort of things I might say …” Liam shoved Leo off him and walked back inside, heading for the front door. He knew Leo wasn’t bluffing about going over himself.
Liam walked outside and across the lawn to the house next door. He took a breath as he walked up the steps to the front porch and raised his hand, tapping his knuckles to the door. A moment later, the door opened, and Alina smiled up at him. “Hi.”
“Hello,” he smiled. “I … I didn’t know you were coming. Not until I just saw you.”
“The others didn’t say anything?”
“Not a word,” Liam shook his head.
Alina chuckled as she stepped aside. “Ela mésa.” Liam stepped inside and was immediately met with the scent of her perfume. “I’m just putting some things away.”
Alina pushed the door shut behind him and walked towards the kitchen; Liam followed her. The house was similar to the other, just a bit smaller, but not by much. And unlike her brother and cousin’s house, Alina’s was almost entirely set up.
“Alina-”
“Ali.” Liam gave her a curious look. “I think we know each other well enough where you can call me Ali,” she smiled as she unboxed some pots and pans.
“Ali it is.” He waited a moment before continuing. “You didn’t mention that you had decided to make the move when we talked …”
“You didn’t ask.” Alina smiled playfully at him. Liam tilted his head to the side with a slight smile. “Truthfully … I didn’t know if you would want to know or not.”
“Why would you think that?”
“Well, the look on your face when I told you that they had asked me to come didn’t exactly scream excitement. You know, for a king, your poker face isn’t very good,” she joked.
Liam rubbed the back of his neck. “Ali, I didn’t mean to make you think that … it just caught me by surprise is all.”
“I wasn’t trying to catch you off guard … it just … seemed like a good opportunity to try something new.”
“How did your yiayia take it?” he chuckled.
“It was the end of the world as we know it,” she laughed.
“And the rest of your family?”
“They were ok. The boys got threatened that they better take care of me,” she laughed.
Liam watched as she continued to unpack more pots, pans, and small kitchen appliances. “Does someone like to cook?” he chuckled.
“I do,” she smiled. “And I’m pretty good at it if I do say so myself.”
“Is that so?”
Alina nodded and smiled as she looked at him. She wasn’t sure what it was about Liam, but something drew her to him. It could be his charm, the way he looked at her with such intrigue, the mysteriousness he himself exuded … or the fact that he was the best she’d ever had. “How about I make you dinner one night? Say … Friday?”
Liam stared at her, feeling those thoughts and worries creeping up. It’s just dinner. After a moment, he nodded. “Ok.”
*******
Liam’s hands gripped Alina’s hips as she straddled his lap. The pair were entrapped in an all-consuming kiss, their almost-empty glasses of wine from dinner forgotten on the table in her living room.
It had been a month since Alina had first invited Liam over for dinner. One dinner turned into several; some she cooked, some they went out for. And every dinner ended the same way: the two of them wrapped up in one another, just on the edge of taking it further … until Liam would stop it.
They pulled apart breathlessly and Liam looked up at her. “I should go … I have that meeting early in the morning.”
Alina tried to shake off the disappointment she felt. “Ok …” She slowly moved off his lap, brushing her finger across her bottom lip. She reached out and grabbed her glass of wine, draining the rest of it.
Alina was unsure of what exactly was going on between her and Liam. It was clear there was something holding him back; whatever it was, he didn’t appear to be ready to discuss it. Apparently, they weren’t there yet. She wasn’t looking to tie him down into something he wasn’t ready for; she just wanted to know where this was going, if anywhere. She kept pushing it to the side, however. She had only been there a month and knew she needed to give it more time.
Alina and Liam rose from the sofa and walked to the front door. He opened it and stepped onto the porch, turning to face her. “Thank you for dinner.”
“No problem,” she smiled.
“Maybe I should cook you dinner one of these nights,” he chuckled.
“Is that an offer?” she smirked.
Liam smiled and leaned down, softly pressing his lips to hers. “Yes, it is,” he said as he pulled back. “Saturday?”
“Sounds good.”
“I’ll see you then.” He kissed her once more before stepping off the porch and walking to his car.
Liam was trying to fight what he was feeling, but it was proving to be more and more difficult the more he spent time with her. He was hot and cold: wanting her but keeping her just far enough away. He wasn’t being consistent with his heart, the way it pulled and pushed him toward her. It started to become a constant struggle for him, and he didn’t know what to do. She was like quicksand, and the more he tried to fight it, the deeper he fell. But those fears and insecurities of his past continued to win every single time.
Just as Liam approached his car, he paused when he heard his name being called. He glanced up to see Nikos coming from the house next door. “Hey,” Liam greeted him.
“Hey. So, I wanted to talk to you.”
“Sure. What about?”
“Alina.”

25 Days of Christmas Special!
Tumblr media
AU where Alison isn’t dead and Isaac never left because I’m sad. Also, just a little Stydia cameo because they’re my OTP. Also, I am so sorry. I am not the greatest at writing for characters I’m completely in love with for some reason. Lol. Also strong language warning I guess? Just take that into account for anything I write really. 😂
2.) “Isn’t this a bit overkill?” “Never say that about Christmas decorations again.”
Y/N was decorating the viewing room because she had invited the pack and Brett over to have a movie marathon and to sleep over at the lake house. Lydia walked into the room and looked around at the overwhelming amount of Christmas decorations.
“Woah there Y/N. Isn’t this a bit overkill?” She asked.
“Um, excuse me? Never say that about Christmas decorations again. Don’t you want our house to look presentable?” Y/N asked crossing her arms.
“Presentable, yes. Like Santa threw up in our sitting room, no.”
“Shush. Theo never really had Christmas since he never really had a family after everything, so I want him to be able to experience it all.”
“You…You’re doing all of this for Theo?” Lydia asked. She sighed as soon as the words left her mouth.
“You sure know how to pick them. You like him don’t you?”
“First of all, no, and second of all that’s rich coming from you who was the girl hooking up with someone from the alpha pack.”
“Oh, you don’t like him? Then why are you hanging mistletoe in every doorway?”
“Because it’s festive, duh.” Y/N said her cheeks dusting pink.
“Uh-huh. Sure.” Lydia said dragging out her words.
“I’m done now anyways. I’m gonna go get ready.”
“Hey what’s his favorite color?! You should wear that!” Lydia called after her smirking to herself.
“Shut up, Lydia! And for the record, it’s red!”
After about twenty minutes, Y/N came back downstairs wearing https://shoplook.io/outfit-preview/2500286
Lydia glanced up from the book she was reading, then looked back down and smiled to herself. “Yeah. Sure. You don’t like him at all, Ms. sleeping beauty.”
“Oh, shut up…” She started about to make another sarcastic remark, but they both heard a knock at the door.
“They’re here, so zip it, Lydia.”
Y/N went and opened the door and the whole pack, and Brett, flooded in.
“Wow. It looks like Santa threw up in here.” Stiles said. Y/N glared at him.
“That’s what I said!” Lydia exclaimed.
“Do we like have to watch movies or can we just hang out because I for one do not want to sit still for hours on end. That’s torture.” Malia complained.
“Fine. I don’t care. Do whatever as long as you don’t mess up my decorating skills, Stiles.”
Lydia, Malia, and Alison began talking to each other.
“So, who does she like?” Alison asked Lydia.
“How’d you know?” Lydia asked.
“The pajamas, the makeup, and she put in effort for her hair which she rarely does. Also she keeps biting her lip, which I noticed is a habit she has when she’s nervous.”
“I think you know her better than I do, and I live with her.” Lydia said.
“So, I’m curious now, who does she like?” Malia asked.
“I think she likes Theo, but also, now that everyone’s here, I’ve noticed her glancing over at Brett a lot too. I think she has a crush on both of them.”
“Yeah. I could see that…looks like she has another admirer though.” Alison said gesturing toward Liam.
He noticed that someone caught him staring and quickly jumped into a conversation between Scott, Stiles, and Isaac.
“You two are incredibly observant. I wish my love life was that interesting.” Malia said thinking out loud.
Y/N approached them. “Why do you all keep looking at me like that?”
“So, who are you gonna choose?” Alison smirked.
“What are you talking about?” She looked over at Lydia who was avoiding eye contact.
“You told them.” She scoffed. “Brett, Liam, and Theo are all some lookers. Who ya gonna choose.?” Malia asked excitedly.
“What are you talking about?” She turned around and caught Liam looking at her. “Oh. Um…I don’t really know. Do you think Liam likes me?” She asked blushing.
“Yeah. Definitely. I’m not observant and that’s clear.” Malia said.
“Well, I don’t really know.”
“Oh come on Y/N. Which one do you actually like? I can’t tell, honestly. You’re shy around literally all of our guy friends. I was just kidding around about Theo earlier.” Lydia said.
Alison looked at her face for a second. “Alright. Hold on. I have an idea. Hey Y/N?”
“Yeah?” “Liam…” She examines her face again. “Theo…” She paused again. “And Brett…”
“The verdict is in girls. She likes Brett.”
“Keep your voice down, Alison. How do you know?”
“If you pay enough attention in science then it would be clear. Her cheeks turned brighter and her pupils dilated when I said his name. She likes Brett.” Alison started matter of factly, louder than she should have.
“Quiet down. Do you want him to hear you?” Y/N complained.
“I mean, it wouldn’t be awful if he did.” She smirked.
“Yes. It would. It would be terrible.” Y/N shot back.
“We should play truth or dare.” Lydia said.
“No. No. We aren’t going to play that. You can’t make me play.”
“If you don’t play then it’s basically an automatic lose. So fine you can be a loser if you want.” Lydia said, using her competitiveness against her.
Y/N crossed her arms and glared. “Fine. Let’s play.” She said with a touch of hostility in her voice.
“Alright. We’re playing truth or dare people! Get in a circle!” Lydia commanded.
“I’ll go first. Y/N, truth or dare?” Lydia asked immediately after everyone sat down.
Y/N narrowed her eyes at her. “Dare.” She said confidently. Lydia smirked and her confidence diminished.
“Wait…” “Nope. You know the rules. No take backs.” Alison said.
She glared at the duo. “Fine. Give me your worst, Lydia.”
Lydia, Alison, and Malia whispered amongst themselves trying to determine the best strategy.
“I dare you to sit on your crush’s lap for the rest of the game.”
“Seriously? We just started.” Y/N groaned.
She hesitantly looked at Brett, and he winked at her.
“Fine, but don’t expect me to go easy on you.” She warned Lydia, Alison, and Malia.
“Fine with us, but if you don’t do the dare in like ten seconds I’m counting you as out because you’re literally just stalling and I know it.” Lydia said.
“She’s not gonna do it.” Alison muttered.
Y/N glared at them, finally getting up from her spot on the floor and sitting in Brett’s lap. Liam looked upset but didn’t say a word. Y/N blushed as she felt Brett wrap his arms around her waist. “For the record, I like you too.” He muttered in her ear.
“See, not so hard, was it?” Lydia sassed. Y/N stuck her tongue out at her.
“Lydia, truth or dare?” Y/N asked.
“Dare.” Y/N sighed.
“Fine. I dare you to kiss the hottest person in this room.”
“I can’t.” Lydia replied.
“Why?”
“Because it’s me obviously. So ha.” She smiled to herself knowing she had outsmarted her sister again. Y/N rolled her eyes.
“Whatever. Just pick someone else.” They played for about an hour before getting bored, especially with Lydia finding her way out of dares. They ended up playing a few board games after that, and shortly after the board games, some of them made cookies.
“Now what?” Malia complained.
“I don’t know. You’re the one who didn’t want a movie marathon.” Y/N said, still sitting with Brett.
“I’m tired. Can’t we just go to sleep?” Scott asked.
Following his question was a bunch of mumbling in agreement throughout the room.
“Hope you all brought something to sleep with because we do not have enough blankets for an entire pack of werewolves.” Lydia said.
Y/N pulled a comforter out of a basket beside the couch, along with four pillows. She took two for herself and gave the others to Brett.
“I call favoritism!” Stiles exclaimed.
“So in other words, you brought nothing?” Lydia asked cockily.
“That…that’s not the point.”
“Just come over here.” Lydia sighed. She pulled half of her blanket up, and Stiles snuggled in beside her.
“Alright are the rest of you all good, or am I gonna have to go scrounge the house for more blankets and pillows?” Y/N asked.
There was a series of ‘I’m good’s from the rest of the pack.
They all settled in, and after about an hour, at least, everyone but Y/N was asleep. She found it very difficult in the nearly freezing cold room, even with a werewolf sleeping next to her, so she headed upstairs to her room, as quietly as possible, pulled out a book, and shut her door to keep the cold from entering her bedroom.
She was only about twenty minutes of uninterrupted reading time before the door opened. She jumped at the sudden noise, pulling out the bat from behind her bed and swinging, almost hitting Brett in the head.
“Woah, there. You good? I didn’t mean to freak you out.”
She sighed in relief and put her bat back. “Yeah. I’m fine.”
“Why’d you leave? Are you alright?”
“Yeah. It’s just freezing down there, and Stiles keeps snoring.”
“Alright. I guess I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Wait…you can stay if you want.”
“That’s a bit forward for you isn’t it, Y/N?” Brett joked.
“You know that’s not what I meant. I’m freezing and you’re a werewolf. Come on.”
He smiled a little bit at her and did as she said. He immediately felt her cuddle into his side, wrapping her arms around his torso.
“The others are gonna talk tomorrow.” He warned. “They can fuck off. Already made fun of my Christmas decorations, so I don’t want their opinion.” She huffed.
Brett laughed at her antics. “Goodnight Princess.”
“Goodnight.” It only took minutes for them both to fall asleep.
The next morning was complete chaos. Of course Lydia and Alison had come into the room at like what? Five a.m just to take picture of them. Stiles was scavenging through the kitchen for something to eat along with Isaac. The floor was covered in pillows. Just absolute chaos.
Y/N and Brett woke up to the sound of awes and camera clicks. Y/N took her pillow from behind her head and threw it at the direction of the noise with her eyes still closed.
“Go away! It’s too early for this, Lydia! Go bother Malia and Scott.” Y/N mumbled.
“Nope. Now get up. Stiles is destroying our kitchen and everyone is starving.”
“Tell them to eat some toast and suck it up!” Y/N exclaimed, still half asleep throwing her other pillow.
She heard the door shut and was hoping that meant they were gone for good. Brett pulled her in closer. The door opened again and Lydia blew an air horn. They both fell off the bed. Y/N rolled off of Brett’s body.
“What the fuck Lydia?!” She groaned. “Well, you’re up now. Get dressed and come downstairs. We’re making pancakes.”
Y/N flipped her off and stood up from the ground. “You guys look cute together by the way!” Lydia said whilst walking out of the room.
“I’m never having a sleepover this big again.”

A tale written with fangs and claws || Chapter 60
Chapters: 60/? Liam meets with Luka again and learns a bit more about the other werewolf pack. The friendship is blossoming.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Thank you for dropping me off." Liam climbed out of the passenger seat of Savannah's car and closed the passenger door behind him. "Don't forget to text me!" The blonde yelled through the open window before she reversed her car. Liam waved at her and watched her drive away before he finally made his way to the front door of his house. Luka, Savannah, Maddie, and he had sat together in the bar and talked for a while until they all had to disperse in different directions. Maddie and Luka had matters to attend to in regards to business and coven, Savannah had plans with her friends later on but offered to drop Liam off. He had gladly accepted her offer since it saved him from riding the bus during summer. Would Theo or someone else had come to get Liam? Absolutely but his Betas were not his chauffeurs.
Liam unlocked the door now and stepped into the house. He heard the tv running, the bass of Mike's music coming from downstairs. As always, it filled Liam with the undeniable feeling of home and happiness. Here he belonged. He hung his keys up and walked further into the house. Theo and Mason lounged on the opposite ends of the couch; Theo with a book in his hand and Mason with his notebook. Corey sat in front of the couch table and solved a puzzle. Tim sat in one of the chairs and watched tv. "Hey, you're back." Mason checked his watch. "Way later than I expected you to be. So it was good?" The others stopped what they were doing and turned to Liam. Tim even muted the series he had been watching. "Mixed, I would say." Liam kissed Theo and then sat next to his mate. Theo licked his lips. "Have you've been drinking lemon shots?" "I'm concerned how you got that from just one kiss", Liam remarked. Then he decided to answer Mason's question. "First of, those Alphas really think they're something else. Something I'm not. I don't have enough millions in my bank account to ever have them accept me." "That bad? I'm sorry." Corey grimaced. His parents were like that as well and he despised them for it. "Most of them, yeah. But I met three people who are very cool. First of, Mase, were cheetahs and vampire are a thing." Mason squeaked and pushed his notebook out of the way. "Tell me everything!" "The hotel had such old Hollywood glam style. Not my chic but whatever. First I met Savannah. She's the cheetah. Alpha of a very small pack here in Seattle. Outgoing, very direct, and honest. She talked to me before I even entered the meeting room. Was her first time too. We kind of stuck together. Then we met Meadow, the vampire. She has been to meetings before but she does not like the Alphas. She has a human best friend and told me he also has some notes about the supernatural community. I invited the two of them here cause I thought you and him could maybe check your notes, combine them so to speak. He surely will have things you don't have and vice versa, Mason and Corey." "Great idea." Corey helped Mason with the Bestiary and he would also profit from meeting Asher. If Asher wanted to follow the invitation. Maddie had said it would not be a problem but Liam would wait for clarification from Asher himself. "You said you met three people. Who's the third?" Theo asked. "Luka. He's the only other cool werewolf I met. Also older than us but his pack is from around. They're more modern and open-minded. Like ours is." "Sounds good. All in all, it seemed as if the meeting wasn't for nothing." Mason smiled. "And vampires. Wait! How was she there? Can she walk in the sun? Did the other Alphas wrangle her into the hotel? Is she traveling in a coffin? Did she try to drink your blood? What was she like??" "Jesus, Mason." Corey shook his head. But Liam gladly answered every question his Emissary had. "I'll stay in contact with them", he finally ended and his mate, as well as Consultant and Emissary, voiced their agreement. "Liam?" Tim said shyly. "Didn't you put up a rule of not having strangers come to the house? When you said you invited the vampire and her friend here, are you not breaking your own rule?"
Shit. Oh shit.
Liam had completely forgotten about that rule. Yes, he had told his Betas not to bring strangers into their new home. And here he was breaking his very own rule. Great, Dunbar! "No...I mean...yeah, I did....But...." Tim got up to leave the room. "I mean, you're the Alpha and therefore it's your decision. You can do whatever you want. I just remembered the rule." He gave an insecure shrug and then left the room in the direction of his room. Liam huffed. "You forgot you had put the rule in place, right?" Theo guessed. "Yep." Liam closed his eyes for a moment and scolded himself mentally. Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! "I mean, you are the Alpha. We can still follow the rules but what you do is up to you", Corey suggested softly. Liam's eyes snapped open. "No!" He said sharply. "We're not running a pack like that! If rules are in place, we all have to follow them. Including me. Especially me." "Then you have to decide what to do with that situation. You could always meet with Meadow and her friend somewhere else", Mason suggested. "No. The rule made sense back then but not it's not feasible anymore. And I will tell Tim that."
The young Alpha got up from the couch and marched downstairs to his Beta's room. He knocked, waited a few moments, then opened the door. Liam peeked into the room. "Hey. Have a minute?" Tim had sat on his desk and now spun around in his chair, a mixture of shock and surprise written on his face. But then he caught himself and nodded. Liam walked in and closed the door behind him. "You can sit on the bed if you want." Tim pointed at said furniture piece and Liam sat down on the edge. He rubbed his palms over his thighs. "You're right. I set this rule and I completely and utterly forgot about it. Had you not said anything, it would have left my mind forever. I am sorry about that." "It's okay. As I said, you're the Alpha. You make the rules, you sure can break the rules." Tim tried his best to give off the impression it was really okay. But Liam was stubborn. "It's not okay", he stated calmly. "When I set the rule, it seemed reasonable to me and came from a place of being worried about everyone and our home. I wanted to be absolutely sure nothing could get to us. That was weeks ago. I should have kept it in mind and change it again after Ever cast the spell and we were more secure. I didn't. I fucked up and I am sorry about that." Tim opened his mouth to protest but Liam was faster: "I am grateful for you guys calling me out. Tim, you're my friend, my family, my Beta. You and the others absolutely should call me out when I do something wrong. I'm not perfect and I will make these mistakes. But only with this echo from you, I can improve and become a better leader. I'm not mad at you and you don't have to be afraid to speak up. This rule was okay back then but now is not anymore. Therefore I cut it. Gone! Just like that! thank you for bringing this up. I mean it. But what will never happen is that I set rules for you and then don't follow them myself. This is not the type of leader I wanna be. Okay?" Tim gnawed on his lip. "I would not care so much but this is the first house I am not judged and ridiculed in. I can be myself and I want to protect it as much as I can", he confessed. "So do I, Timmy", Liam promised him. "I would never let anyone in here I might consider not fully trustworthy." Tim considered. "So you trust Meadow and her friend?" "I do, yeah." Liam nodded. "Do you consider them good allies for the pack?" The twenty-year-old had to laugh. "My brain's not wired like that." Liam played with his hands. "Theo is good at that, Mason too. But I don't think strategically. On the lacrosse field, yeah, that's my jam, but not when it comes to people. I meet a person and I either like or dislike them. Maybe I trust too easy and maybe I will make a fool out of myself but then I have to take responsibility for it. I can't, I don't want to meet someone and be like Your name is what? Oh, you will be a splendid ally to my pack. This is not me and I will probably never get there. Hence why I keep Theo around", he joked at the end. Tim chuckled but then sighed. "I know what you mean. I'm not like that either. It would feel...I don't know...like..." They both thought about it. "Like using someone", they both finally said at the same time and this time they both laugh. "Mike is good at it too. To easily find out how people can be useful to him upon meeting them." "Maybe it's a survival tactic", Liam put out a theory. "How can you help me in my current situation to get a better stand and survive. Would explain why Theo is so good at it. He and Mike both needed to survive in a world that didn't want them." Tim raised his shoulders. "My survival tactic is not being seen or heard. Not draw any attention." "Well, I hope you don't feel like that anymore in the house or around the pack in general." Liam sounded like a father, he realized that himself. But wasn't an Alpha supposed to be a father sometimes? Tim shook his head. "Not always. But it's hard to unlearn what I learned for nineteen years. You know, you guys are great! You make me feel welcome! Don't think anybody else, please!"
He moved his hands around and knocked over a small can filled with brushes of all kinds. They clattered to the floor. Liam knelt and helped him pick them up again. "Didn't know you were painting, Timmy. Those are many brushes." His Beta turned a concerning shade of red and stuttered. "I...No...Not...Irgs. I don't paint! Pictures! I don't paint pictures!" "Then what do you paint?" Liam had never seen Tim being creative with brushes in any shape or form. From how his friend acted, one would think he was doing forbidden things with those brushes. "You don't have to tell me, of course. I'm just curious." You could basically see Tim's thought process on his face. Denial, fear, nervousness, fear again, shame. Finally, he pointed to the other side of the room. There was a large board with something tiny on it. Curiosity got the better of Liam and he stepped closer. Tiny little figurines were placed all over the board, along with trees, and various other little things. There was even a tiny truck looking amazingly similar to Theo's truck. And there was a car looking like Liam's. Wait a second. "Are those figurines of the pack?" Tim rushed next to Liam. "I can stop with that if you think it's weird. It's just, I like making those little scenes and take inspiration from real life." He gently pushed a tiny figurine in a blue jersey. A tiny Liam in lacrosse gear, Liam realized. "You've got to be kidding me! This is awesome! Can I touch it?" Liam was in awe. Tim blushed furiously but then gently placed lacrosse Liam on Liam's palm. The young Alpha turned the figurine to inspect it from all sides. For such a small thing, the details were incredibly detailed. "I make the figurines from a special clay and then I paint them. I hope you don't think it's weird. I am sorry if you do. I'm not a creep, I promise!" Tim almost stumbled over his words in his haste to get them out. "You make them? This is incredible, Tim! Why did you never show us this? That's not creepy or weird, this is fucking amazing! You're crazy talented." Liam could not stop praising the guy. And Tim beamed under the praise. Once he realized Liam did not find anything weird about that and actually loved it, he preened. "Does anybody in the pack know you're doing this?" "Mike knows." Tim smiled shyly. "But I made him swear he wouldn't tell a soul. Made him swear on something important to him." "Uh uh. What did he swear on?" Now Tim blushed again. "Our friendship." "Aw." Those two were cute and deserved each other. Mike because he needed a calm anchor in his life, Tim because he needed someone to speak up when he couldn't himself. "But seriously, Timmy, those are cool. I'm not going to say anything but if you ever want to share with the rest, I can already assure you, they will be as amazed as I was. It's a really cool hobby. I imagine it takes a lot of time?" "Oh, it does. But I like to modulate all the figurines and then paint them. It's calm work and I can think while doing it." Tim began chatting about his hobby. Now that Liam knew it seemed like a dam had burst and he could share it with the Alpha. Liam willingly listened.
****** "I'm glad you could clear the air with Tim." Theo pulled the covers back and crawled in bed. Liam was already under the covers and had scrolled through his phone but now put the device away to concentrate on the talk with his mate. "I'm glad too. It is important to me to get those kinds of replies so I can reflect on myself. I'm not doing everything right. But I'm working on it." "You're doing a lot of things already right. The things you're not doing right, well they partly make you Liam. Not perfect but human and very loveable." "How were you ever the chimera of death?" Liam teased and Theo smacked him with his pillow. Liam laughed. "I am trying here to compliment you and you do not appreciate it? You should be ashamed of yourself!" Theo wailed. Liam laughed louder. "Naw, you will survive that one, big boy. You know I love you." To prove it, he pressed his mate down on the mattress and kissed him passionately. Theo laughed into the kiss but returned it soon enough. "I know you love me", he mumbled after they parted. "And I love you, Lee." Liam was proud to hear that and he smirked. His phone chimed and he let go of Theo to grab it. "It's from Luka. He's asking if I want to meet up sometime next week. Cool." Liam already typed an answer. "You really like the three, right?" Theo mused. Liam looked up from his phone screen. Theo was watching him with questioning eyes but there was no sign of jealousy as he had shown with Scott in the beginning. He sighed. "I do. It's strange. They're all older than me and yet they never acted like they had to explain the world to me. Never a patronizing word, never telling me I'm still so young. I was just Liam and from the get-go, I was part of this little gang. I didn't have to prove myself to them. Because it felt like I had already proved myself prior to meeting them and they didn't even care. It was nice. I wasn't...." "You weren't the fourteen-year-old?" Theo asked amusedly and yet with compassion. "Yeah", Liam confirmed. "I wasn't even Liam the twenty-year-old. I was just...Liam." He fell silent for a few beats. "Doesn't mean I will leave you guys behind. You're my family." "Nobody's thinking that!" Theo furrowed his brows. "If we did, we would be bad friends and family members. We all are individuals outside of this pack and we all will make friendships without the pack being involved. If not, we would be one lousy pack. What we are is, happy you found people appreciating you and liking you for who you are." He reached out and pushed Liam's chin up so the couple looked at each other. "Liam, you have so many things going on for you. Your age shouldn't be one of the first things to notice." It was still strange to hear those things with such sincerity and Liam swallowed dryly. "What's the first thing?" He asked softly. Theo smiled lovingly. "Your good heart. And your eyes. Not because of their color - even though it's a beautiful color - but because they shine with such honesty and happiness." They stared at each other, Liam lost for words. He found his voice only after moments passed. "Were you always that poetic?" "You bring out the best in me", the ex-chimera replied and then kissed Liam deeply.
****** "Not to be pessimistic or something but would it not have been better to plant the flowers after the heatwave?" Liam stood in the open front door and watched Brett watering their plants. Nope", the tall werewolf replied and carried on with his task. "Because?" "Because I wanted to do it now", Brett simply answered. He gave Liam a cheeky grin. "That's reason enough." "Why would I ever doubt that?" Liam remarked teasingly. "Careful before I water you. You could use some growing", Brett teased back. The next moment, he was distracted by the red convertible oldtimer rolling into their driveway. The car was highly polished, not one speck of dirt to be seen, and it was sparkling in the sun. "Holy crap, that is awesome." Brett didn't even realize he was watering the ground instead of the plants, too busy staring at the car. It stopped in front of the entrance and Luka in the driver seat smirked. "Hi." "Hi." Liam laughed. "Nice car." "It's the pack car when one of us wants to go for a nice ride. Holden, a pack member, resto moded it but he lends it to everyone. Thought it's a nice day, why not take it?" He took off his sunglasses and seemed quite proud of his Beta's skills. Liam had no interest in cars but it was a pretty one and why not? He had no objections to driving around in this. Mike and Theo came out of the house. "Dude, that car is sick!" Mike jumped down the stairs and rounded it. Luka preened. "I'll forward it to Holden." Theo was also circling the car, as amazed by it as Mike and Brett were. Liam could only shake his head. Who knew those guys were such car freaks? "Luka, that one over there is Brett and that guy there is Mike. And that is Theo." "Nice to meet you." Theo was the only one to actually shake Luka's hand, the other two simply waved and then continued to fawn over the car. "Nice to meet you too", Luka replied. "You're Liam's boyfriend, right?" "I am", Theo proudly confirmed. "Bring him back in one piece." "I swear on my life", Luka promised in a playful serious tone. Liam grunted. "I can hear you guys! Theo, maybe I won't bring Luka back in one piece. How about that?" "As long as you bring the car back in one piece!" Mike cut in and made them all laugh. "Okay, now that some of my Betas embarrassed me in front of you, I'll get my sunglasses and we can go", Liam called out to the older Alpha and ran into the house and upstairs.
It took him a little while to find his sunglasses (he really needed to try and be tidier) but when he found them under some papers, Liam let out a triumphant cry and ran back downstairs. His Betas were involved in a conversation with Luka (surprisingly not about cars) which Liam now interrupted. "I'm ready." "Great. Hop in." Liam opened the passenger door and marveled at how smooth this was going. He somehow expected the door to get stuck because of age. But this car looked and felt like a brand new one. "See you guys later. Don't burn the house down", he joked. "Yes, dad!" All three Betas chimed in unison. Theo smirked and came to the passenger side to give Liam a quick kiss. "Have fun", he mumbled and Liam nodded. "Bye, guys. See you next time!" Luka called out before he started the car and soon they rolled down the driveway.
"You're one of the few people in this car to use the seatbelt immediately", he informed Liam when he turned into the street. The young Alpha looked down. "I do this in every car. My mother drilled this into me from a young age. I could not drive in a car without buckling up." "My mom was like that too. She always said just because were werewolves didn't mean we had to challenge fate. And she got mad if she saw one of us without a seatbelt on. Not just her own kids but basically everyone. There is a story where she refused to drive another Alpha's wife to the airport because the lady refused to put hers on. It's said they sat in the car for forty minutes until my dad went looking for them." Liam started laughing. "That's dedication. It's that the temper you were talking about?" Now Luka laughed. "My mom was stubborn. I'm too. And my sister is as well. Fun times during puberty, I can tell you. Good thing my dad was good at finding middle ground." "Your parents seemed like an amazing couple. Their personalities really matched with each other, from what I already heard." He wanted to know more about his new friend. And Liam wanted to share things about himself as well. He believed Savannah was right, this could become great friendships. "They were the perfect match even though their personalities were as different as they can be. But they balanced each other out. They were incredible Alphas for our pack." "You say Alphas. Were both real Alphas? Or just an Alpha couple?" Luka stopped at a crosswalk and let some pedestrians pass. "Technically, if you base it on red eyes and stamina, my father was the Alpha. My mother was a Beta but no one would have dared to treat her like one. Or like she was just dad's wife and mate. The way she cared for her pack, the way she made decisions, the way she spoke, she was an Alpha. There is so much more to an Alpha than red eyes. It's all about behavior and the relationship to the pack members." "I don't base it on the red eyes. Theo, he's also a Beta, but we call him Second Alpha. He takes over if I can't. We're the Alpha couple. Why should the color of somebody's eyes define their role?" Luka agreed with Liam's point of view. "There are some packs without an Alpha with red eyes. One Beta is in charge and guides them." "I didn't know that, that's awesome. But wouldn't that be an Alpha by conquest in the long run?" "Depends on how serious the pack takes it. Not all packs are focused on Alpha and Betas, some are more lenient. There are so many kinds of packs. Not just different species but different versions. There are also many Alpha Omegas around." "Alphas without a pack? So wolves with the Alpha spark." "Yeah." "Huh." Liam had never considered that. To him, Omegas had always been those wolves. With normal wolf powers. What were normal wolf powers? Betas? Liam guessed so. He never bothered to really make a distinction or think about what exactly Omegas were. "I kind of don't know a lot about the supernatural. I know how to fight and about several evil beings but all those connections between weres, species, what other magical beings are there, rituals, I know nothing about." Luka didn't take it badly. "At what age were you bitten?" "Fourteen." "You're twenty now. Which means I'm twelve years older than you. Trust and believe me when I tell you I didn't know that much more when I was your age. Plus I have the unfair advantage of being born in a werewolf family." He smiled impishly. Liam grinned. Yet he still insisted on his opinion. "I still think the first few years as a werewolf did not prepare me for that."
Thus he found himself telling Luka everything, from how Scott bit him to the hyenas. It was somewhat therapeutic to talk about all this with another wolf without knowing him beforehand. He didn't need to find periphrases for things, could tell it how it happened and didn't need to sugarcoat the events. He also could be as open as possible without having to worry about insulting some old friends. It had been the same with Byron.
He talked until they parked in the parking lot of the restaurant they had picked to grab something to eat. Liam didn't know the place but according to Luka it had delicious food and you could sit outside under trees so it would not be too hot. "See? That's the reason why teenagers shouldn't become Alphas", Luka said matter of factly and killed the engine. "I don't mean this condescendingly but it is what it is. Maybe if Scott had been a born werewolf it would have been different but I understand why this was all complicated. And why you didn't learn about the supernatural community. You had enough other problems to take care of." "I just wished I could have learned more. Maybe being an Alpha would be easier then", Liam mumbled. "Nah." Luka denied. "Becoming an Alpha does not mean you suddenly get access to this knowledge. It's not like a hatch opens and it's flowing into your brain. You have to make mistakes to find your footing as an Alpha." He unbuckled his seatbelt. "I was prepared to become an Alpha after my father's death for years. It could have become anybody in the pack but since I'm the oldest it was kind of expected for me to take over afterward. But it's not possible to really prepare someone for the weight we shoulder as Alphas. For the magnitude of responsibility settling in. It's something we just feel. And every Alpha has to find their own way to cope with that." Liam frowned. "How do I know I'm doing the right thing then?" Luka gave him a brotherly nudge. "I'd say you're on a good way already. When the first Alpha came to town, your Betas followed you into a potentially deadly fight. They were willing to die by your side. That's a type of loyalty you cannot buy or blackmail. It's loyalty coming from the soul and the heart. And it's only happening because an Alpha made the right decision for those Betas. You're young, Liam, one of the youngest Alphas I've ever met but you marched into the Alpha meeting without a care in the world. Do you think any of those Alphas would have done that at the age of twenty? From my point of view, you're doing absolutely great. Don't focus so much on being perfect and rather follow your heart and gut and you're set. You will be fine." It felt good to hear that. Byron told him that often enough but now a second experienced werewolf told Liam the same thing. He felt flattered. Those men saw him as equal, not just as a teenager. Saw eye-to-eye with him and respected him the same way he respected them. Enough to give Liam a soaring feeling in his chest. "Thanks." He clapped Luka's shoulder. "No come on, I'm hungry."
They exited the car and walked to the restaurant entrance. The hostess greeted them with a friendly smile and an even friendlier one when she got the first good glance at Luka. Liam was friends with Brett so this was not new to him. He was flabbergasted still. "How do you do that?" He had to inquire once they sat outside on their table and the hostess left to get menus for them. "Do what?" Luka acted innocently but his grin and the sparkle in his eyes betrayed him. The hostess came back and made a show to slowly put the menus on the table. She didn't pay Liam any mind and that was fine, he was mated, instead just gave Luka a coy smile. "Don't hesitate to ask me in case you need anything." "Will do. Thank you", he repaid her with a charming smile of his own and she left in a slow, seductive motion. On top of the menus, she left a little note with digits behind. "You barely talked to her and still got her number. Brett managed to pull this off as well. How? Not that I will ever need to try since I have Theo but how the fuck do you pull that off?" Liam could not find any satisfying explanation. Luka had gazed back at the hostess but now his head snapped back. "Luck, I guess. And charm, maybe." "Maybe, uh uh." Liam snickered. Luka had a certain boyish charm about him and that made him attractive. Not taking life too seriously, giving everything an easier vibe. Liam also understood the hostess because the deep green t-shirt Luka was wearing brought out his eyes nicely and accentuated his fit body perfectly. "I like sex. What can I say? Everywhere. No matter what country I am." Luka was not embarrassed to share this. "Have you always been like this?" "Frankly? Yeah. I always liked to flirt and when I was old enough to actually become sexually active, I saw no harm in there. I don't play. That's how my parents raised me. My mother always said: Go and have fun with whoever you want to have fun. But don't break hearts if you don't have to. Be upfront. If it's just sex, say it. Saves you and other people heartbreak. I always followed that. Yes, I had relationships but most of the time I have been single and had one-night-stands. Or several night stands. Whatever. The minute I'm interested in someone or in a relationship, I'm faithful. I can't stand cheaters." "That's the right answer. Sex is nice, with the right person even better, but I don't like players. Nice to hear someone having values."
Liam took a look inside the menu. Right on cue, a waiter appeared. "Hello gentlemen, I'm your server for today. Would you care for a drink?" The Alphas looked at each other. "Just water is fine for me", Liam decided. It was hot, despite the trees providing shade, and he would become thirsty, he knew himself. "Water is good", Luka decided himself and the waiter went to fetch their drinks. "You said no matter what country you are in. Are you traveling a lot?" Liam had picked up on that. "For work yeah." "What are you doing for a living?" "I deal in car parts for either oldtimer or pimped-out cars. Like the convertible. Holden is the mechanic, we work together. He screws the cars together, I contract the clients and the manufacturers. We have business all over the world since some of the parts are very rare. So I traveled a lot. For periods of time, I wasn't home for months. I never had my own apartment because it made no sense to pay for something I used. Tried it once and after weeks my landlord called and said he just wanted to check if I was still alive since I never came around. So I moved out again and if I stayed home, I stayed with the Alphas." "And that was okay? For you to be gone so long?" "My parents ket an open door policy. If something important came up, they called us home but aside from that, we were free to leave as long as we wanted. We knew we could always return to the pack house. No matter how late, even in the middle of the night, we were always welcome. We all made use of that rule over the years."
The waiter brought their drinks and took their order. When he left the two alone again, Liam raised his glass. "Good idea to meet up again", he praised. "Well, Savannah said it right, it's the beginning of wonderful friendships. So of course." Luka smiled and they clinked their glasses together. Liam took a sip. Perfect, cool water, he never drank anything better. He put his glass down again and savored the sip. "Uhm, I never got the chance to ask. How many Betas do you have? We're only talking about me." "I don't mind. You're good at telling a story and explaining things. Somebody ever told you that?" Luka had put his glass down as well. Liam made an incredulous face. "No. What would they? I'm kind of dumb." It had slipped out faster than Liam could have stopped it. Luka's frown was almost instantly. "What asshole told you that?" "No one. Life experience, if you will. I'm not the brightest." "You don't have to be a genius but you really don't appear dumb, Liam. Don't believe it when people tell you that. They're just haters." It had the same vibe as a worried older brother giving a stern talking to his younger sibling and Liam chuckled. He was a big brother but not a little brother and yeah he called Scott his brother sometimes but that was different. Maybe because Scott was only two years older than Liam himself. They came from the same walk of life, small town, maybe that was also a factor? Liam could not really put his finger on it but it hit differently with Luka. "Okay", he said to end this topic. "I will remember this talk." "Good", Luka looked stern but then he smiled. "To get back to the question, seven Betas. A few less than you have." He leaned back in his chair. "There is my younger sister Delaney. Younger by three years. An absolute firecracker. If she gets angry, if you piss her off, she will cuss at you and rant for hours if you let her. Especially in the background of a phone conversation. Very entertaining, if I'm being honest." Luka laughed. But the love for his sister was evident in his words. "Then there is Simon. He is...was dad's best friend. They've been to school and college together and he acted like some sort of advisor for the pack. Helped with international deals and connections. He's my godfather and like a second dad. I'm happy I still have him after I lost dad. It doesn't bear contemplating if he would have been also gone..." Luka trailed off. Liam managed a compassionate smile. "I am sorry for your loss. Losing somebody we love is never easy." He touched his collar bone where the Lion King tattoo was hidden under his shirt. Luka appreciated the sentiment. He continued his list on a lighter note. "With Simon came Holden, his son. Holden's just a few months younger than I am, we grew up together." "Holden's mom is not part of the pack?" "No. She never wanted to get married or have kids. Yet she married Simon and got pregnant with Holden. Weeks after his birth she handed Simon the infant and announced: I don't want to be a wife or a mother. Here's the child, I'll leave your life for good. He does not have to search for me, I want nothing to do with any of you. My lawyer will send you the documents where I signed my rights away and the divorce papers. Got her suitcase and left. From that moment on, mom and dad gave a hand to Simon. Holt and I basically grew up like brothers. He annoys Delaney the same way I do." Liam giggled. "Are younger siblings not something fun? I have a younger brother. He's ten but living at the lake." "Aw, they're so cute at that age. And then they start stating their own opinions and become brats." It was obvious Luka didn't mean a thing he said about his sister. They both began to laugh. "Holden's a great guy but he can be a hothead. Impulsive and very brash. Those are not his finest moments and we have to hold him back. But he's fiercely protective of the pack. Would do anything for us. Another one of my Betas is Sandro. Alessandro. My second in command. We met during freshmen orientation in college and clicked almost instantly. Have been inseparable ever since. When I brought him home the first time, mom looked at dad and said: Look, it's Luka in another body. Our parents often joked how they could each take the wrong son home and nobody would notice cause we're so similar. It's eerie. "
Their food came out and they interrupted their talk to thank the waiter and dig in before Luka resumed talking. "Sandro was human when we met but after a while, he noticed my family was hiding something. He confronted me and after consulting with my Alphas I came clean to him. Thank god cause when he was twenty-five, he go involved with a lone Alpha and said Alpha got a bit too excited in bed. Right before a full moon. Sandro showed up at our doorstep, bloodied and already on the verge of transforming. Dad took one look at him and dragged him to the basement where we keep a cage for those things.  I stayed with him the whole night and after that, it was more or less clear he would become part of the pack. Sandro helped me a lot after my parents' death. He took charge when I couldn't do it and held the pack together. That's why he became my second in command, just like Theo is for you." Luka drank from his water. "We have two other women in the pack. Bryn and Lynn. Laugh if you want, their rhyming names are a running joke in our pack. Bryn I know for almost her whole life. How fit are you in werewolf genetics?" Liam snorted. "That a thing? I'd give it a solid zero." "To keep it simple: The werewolf gene is dominant most of the time. Werewolf parents will have werewolf children. Even if only one parent is a wolf, the child likely will be one as well. The chances are even higher by born wolves rather than bitten ones. But if you have several generations of werewolves mixing with humans there is a slight possibility to have a human child even as werewolf parents. In Bryn's family case it was the opposite. There had been some wolves here and there, some of them had been in contact with my father's pack, but for generations, there were only humans. Until Bryn was born. Boom. Human parents with a werewolf baby." "You're kidding me!" Liam was amazed at how crazy nature could get. "Absolutely not. But her family knew about werewolves and so they knew the name of my father's pack. They grabbed their daughter and moved closer to us, showed up at our door, and kindly asked my parents to help them. To make having yet another child running around somewhat plausible, we started calling Bryn Delany's and my second cousin. We kept this til this day and mostly refer to her as our cousin. Lynn, on the other hand, was bitten after a night of clubbing and then left to die. Mom found her somewhere in the ditch and brought her home. We were not sure she would survive but that girl is tough as nails. Don't underestimate her." "She reminds me of Sadie. One should never underestimate Sadie as well. She will kick your ass and probably gnaw on your bones without ruining her makeup." "Somehow that description also fits Maddie and Savannah", Luka realized. Liam had to agree with that. "Anyway, you said you had seven Betas. One's missing." "The latest addition to the pack before my parents died. Will. He's Sandro's cousin, full-blood-related this time. They have been close while growing up and he visited one time. This family is good at picking up things and he got curious. We never got to explain to him everything cause a hostile pack attacked and he was wounded badly. Dad turned him in an attempt to save his life. It worked and Will moved to live with us. Funny enough, he and Holden clicked almost as instantly as Sandro and I did. They just balance each other a bit better. Hopefully. One's a hothead, the other is too cocky for his own good sometimes. I think the day these two linked, Simon's world kinda ended. He had several gray hairs more after that day. Lynn once kept a tally which one had to get bailed out of jail more often..." Luka tilted his head. "Huh, wondered what happened to that. I think I was the third place..." Liam smirked and Luka gave him an innocent smile. "I mean, we are all law-abiding citizens and never do anything wrong. We stick together and love each other, as a family should." "So do we. My pack and I. They're my family and I don't want to miss anyone of them." "Tell you what, Liam, why don't you and you pack visit us? We could have a BBQ party. Next Friday, is that good?" "That's a great idea. I'll check with the pack and text you."

When I started this story, I imagined how many chapters this might will have and thought sixty was a good number. Now we are at chapter 60 and this story is far from over. I can't believe that. It's absolutely amazing and I want to thank every single one of my readers for the support. You all are amazing! Thank you!!!
In regards to this chapter, I like the friendship between Luka and Liam. They both are on the same wavelength and get each other. And it was fun working out Luka's Betas. In the next chapter, both packs will fully meet each other. I am excited.

summary: When Theo tries and fails to charm someone at Sinema, Liam steps up to the plate.
notes: honestly it was only a matter of time until i gave in and wrote thiam fic. this is... self-indulgent, in the sense that i wanted something like a honey pot mission, with jealous!theo sneaking his way in there. i hope you enjoy it!
you can read on ao3 here ✨
---
“I got this,” Theo says over the music pumping out of Sinema’s speakers.
Liam fidgets with the coke in his hands—just coke, because the bartender didn’t even humor him by asking for an ID when Liam sidled up to the bar—and tries not to look as stiff and awkward as he feels. Theo, on the other hand, fits right in, leaning casually against the bar, the club’s flashing lights spilling over him in ways that are unfairly flattering. Liam takes another steadying sip of his soda.
“Why can’t we just, y’know—” Liam gives a jerky shrug, tilts his head at their target sitting at the other end of the bar. “Pull him into an alley and threaten him?”
Theo raises an eyebrow. “I know this might be a surprise to you,” he says, “but not everything needs to be solved violently.”
“It’s worked for me so far,” Liam mutters.
“Sure, it works. But situations like this go better with a little more… finesse.” Theo’s smirk is slow and smug. “Just watch and learn something, will you?”
Liam scowls. “Go on, already.”
Theo pushes himself off the bar and grabs Liam’s cup without so much as a may I, and takes a gulp.
“Hey!” Liam flushes and drags his eyes away from watching Theo’s throat work. He snatches his cup back.
Theo grins and swaggers his way to the target. Liam hates him.
He tries to watch it unfold without looking too obvious, angling himself away from the other end of the bar and only glancing over every couple minutes or so. The target’s name is Zeke, and is their only lead on a hunt for, apparently, a group of warlocks disguising themselves as a punk band and using their underground shows to hex people. A few sources have pointed to Zeke as the one selling tickets, and Liam figured it’d be easy enough to just demand a pair and infiltrate the next show. Theo disagreed.
Liam watches Theo lean in and talk closely into Zeke’s ear, to be heard better over the noise, no doubt. It still makes Liam’s stomach twist, and he takes another sip from his cup.
Even without eavesdropping on their conversation, he can tell Theo’s turned up the charm. And he’s good at it, Liam knows from far too much personal experience. But despite Theo’s crooked smile and coy head tilt, Zeke isn’t biting. Liam doesn’t need heightened werewolf senses to see that Zeke is bored, the nods and one word answers he’s giving polite but disinterested. Liam snickers, and from the way Theo’s eyebrow twitches, he can hear it.
Zeke looks about five seconds away from shaking his head and leaving Theo in the dust, and as much as Liam would love to see it, he also knows it would mean losing their only lead. So he downs the rest of his coke and walks over to tap Theo on the shoulder.
Theo turns to look at him with an expression of such fabricated politeness Liam nearly laughs.
He says, “Hey, Mason needs to talk to you outside.”
Theo frowns in confusion, and Liam tries to express to him via eyebrow waggles something along the lines of you’re totally bungling this, please stop and take the out I’m giving you.
It takes Theo a few seconds, but these last months of working together have given them an ability to understand one another without so many words. Mason called it creepy telepathy once, but Liam thinks it’s something closer to trust. Whether Theo agrees with that is yet to be seen.
Whatever it is, Theo seems to understand. He heaves an unnecessarily put-upon sigh, then looks back at Zeke and drawls, “I’ll be right back.”
Zeke flashes a totally false smile that makes Liam want to laugh again. He pats Theo’s shoulder as he passes and disappears into the club crowd.
Which leaves Liam alone with Zeke.
Liam suddenly wishes he hadn’t finished his drink, then at least he’d have something to do with his hands. As it is, he shoves them into his pockets, not bothering with suaveness.
“Friend of yours?” Zeke asks, looking at Liam curiously.
Liam holds a breath in his cheeks, thinking. “In a sense,” he settles on.
Zeke snorts, his shoulders relaxing. Liam grins.
“Liam,” he says and sticks a hand out.
Zeke looks at him funny, a smile playing at his lips. He takes the hand. “Zeke. You’re very polite for a random dude at a bar.”
“Not my usual scene, to be honest.”
“That so?” Zeke props an elbow on the bar, leans a cheek against his hand. “Don’t like crowds?”
“Oh, crowds are fine. It’s just the music.” Liam wrinkles his nose, and this, at least, is truthful. “Not my favorite.”
“Let me guess.” Zeke leans in, biting the corner of his lip as he drifts his gaze over Liam. Liam tries not to blush under the scrutiny. “You’re more of a punk rock guy.”
“Is it that obvious?”
Zeke points to the front of Liam’s shirt. “Noisy Habits. I’ve seen them a couple times.”
“No way.” All pretense gone, Liam leans in eagerly, eyes wide. “They haven’t toured near Beacon Hills since I started listening to them, like, a year ago? That’s awesome.”
“I travel a lot.” Zeke’s smile grows, his eyes brightening just slightly under the club lights. “It’s fun checking out local punk scenes. Beacon Hills isn’t bad, either.”
Liam snorts. “That’s generous.”
Zeke laughs, throwing his head back. The amusement is genuine, Liam can tell, and he blinks in surprise. This is all going so much better than he expected.
“Seriously,” Zeke says after he collects himself. He’s moved minutely closer, enough to touch Liam’s elbow with a hand, bracelets and rings glinting. “I know some guys. They’re great.”
This is it, Liam thinks, he can’t blow it now. He swallows, doesn’t pull away from Zeke’s touch. “Yeah?”
Zeke seems to consider something as he keeps his eyes trained on Liam’s face. His tongue darts out over his lips. “Yeah,” he says finally, and his smile has an edge to it that shocks Liam in its familiarity.
It’s a little like the smirks Theo gives him, the ones after Theo says something toeing the edge of flirting. It makes Liam burn beneath his skin every time, especially when Theo’s smirk falls away into laughter, because that’s always what it is in the end—a joke. Never anything more.
This is not a joke. Liam can smell it, the scent of interest wisping from Zeke’s skin. Liam swallows. He wonders, distantly, if he’s ever checked closely enough to see if Theo was really joking.
Zeke glances at his smart watch when a text pops up on it. Liam is sorely tempted to read it, but he’s treading carefully, now. It won’t do to piss Zeke off.
Zeke’s mouth twists. He turns back to Liam. “Well, it’s been fun, Liam.” He draws out the two syllables of his name. “But sadly, I’ve got to go.”
“Really?” Liam tries to sound extra disappointed.
Zeke looks amused and… something else Liam is too flustered to put a word to. He pulls out his wallet, a worn-out leather thing covered in what Liam recognizes are hexes. This is definitely their warlock, and one paranoid of pickpocketing, at that. He opens it up and digs out two slips of paper. Tickets.
He grabs a pen from the bar and writes a string of numbers on one of them. When he’s done, he looks at Liam, a meandering stare from bottom to top.
He tucks the tickets into the waistband of Liam’s jeans. Liam nearly jumps at the brush of fingers against his hip.
“Next Saturday,” Zeke murmurs, leaning in. “Doors are at seven.”
“Cool,” Liam squeaks, grimaces, then clears his throat. “Uh, I mean—” in a deeper voice, “Cool.”
“Cool.” Zeke grins. “Hope to see you there, Liam.”
He squeezes Liam’s elbow again, then steps away. He disappears so seamlessly into the crowd it can only be warlock magic.
Liam releases a breath he didn’t realize he was holding, his heart still hammering in his chest. It… worked. He didn’t totally stick his foot into his mouth and end up in a bar fight. Take that, Theo.
… Wait. Theo.
Liam shakes his head to gather himself, then glances around. He doesn’t have to look far—Theo’s standing at the other side of the bar where Liam was earlier.
His elbows are on the counter, one hand curled into a fist in front of him. His knuckles are white. His eyes aren’t on Liam but out towards the crowd, in the direction Zeke just left. Then he turns to look at Liam.
His eyes are dark.
Liam swallows. It feels like anger, but he can tell it’s not directed at him. Still, he approaches with caution. Theo doesn’t get as punchy as Liam when he’s angry, but he does get bitchier.
When he reaches him, he lifts the hem of his shirt to show Theo the tickets tucked into his waistband. “Got ’em,” he says smugly.
Theo’s dark gaze turns even more murderous. He expected Theo to be annoyed about striking out, but this just seems excessive. He got the job done, didn’t he?
“Great,” Theo says through gritted teeth. His fist curls and uncurls restlessly.
Liam frowns. “Are you really that pissed that someone didn’t fall for your charms?” When Theo doesn’t say or do anything, Liam shakes his head and pulls the tickets out of his pants. “Whatever. Here.” He shoves them into Theo’s chest.
Theo grabs his wrist. Liam jumps, but stays thoroughly locked in place by Theo’s grip. His hand is still spread over Theo’s chest, and the tickets beneath his palm do nothing to stifle the heat that radiates from Theo’s skin. Theo slides his hand from Liam’s wrist up to his elbow, thumb dragging over the bare skin there.
Where Zeke had touched, Liam realizes.
Theo lets go of his arm, but Liam doesn’t have the current sense of mind to pull away. Not that Theo would let him, since his hand moves down to Liam’s hip next, fingers brushing against the hem of his shirt.
His thumb presses against Liam’s hip bone. Over the shirt, not touching the skin, but still. Liam almost hisses at the contact. Theo does that slow, hard drag again, like Zeke had left fingerprints on Liam and he’s trying his damnedest to wipe them away.
The slightest, faintest growl rolls in the back of Theo’s throat. Audible only to Liam, and even his supernatural hearing strains to catch it. Theo so rarely slips up at anything. Does he realize what he’s doing right now?
Another hard drag of Theo’s thumb and Liam’s about to ask that aloud, but then Theo blinks, clarity suddenly returning to him.
He snatches his hand away. Liam’s skin tingles where he touched it.
Theo takes the tickets, gives them a cursory glance. He keeps the one with Zeke’s number scrawled on it and holds the other one out. Liam takes it wordlessly, his brain still catching up on what the fuck just happened.
Theo clears his throat and says, “Let’s get out of here.”
Liam nods quickly. “Yeah.”
Theo stalks ahead as they leave, his shoulders stiff, all the ease and confidence he wore earlier lost somewhere in the last few minutes. Liam absently touches where Theo’s fingers just did, his skin feeling hot all over. As it so often does around Theo.
He looks at the boy ahead of him. There’s red in his cheeks, at the tips of his ears. Liam bites against a smile.
At least he’s not the only one.

“The next day Scott apologizes to Allison, who’s a little bit upset. But hey, Scott’s a werewolf, so I mean, what are you gonna do, say no?”
//
Of all the things that confused me for a long time, among the most confusing was Scott/Posey Stans’ simultaneously held beliefs that Scott McCall would be the bestest werewolf ever and yet somehow remain a toxic human disaster worthy of pity. All the things that make Scott McCall that disaster – his insecurities, his lack of empathy, his bigotry, his hypocrisy, his abusive tendencies and behavior, his possessive instincts – also make him an absolute horror as a werewolf.
How many times did Scott lash out in anger at people he professed to care about just because they didn’t do what he wanted them to do? How many times did Scott lie and conceal important information from others for his own benefit? How many times did Scott’s mother, girlfriends and friends complain about not being able to help if they don’t know? How many times did Scott charge headlong into situations with no plan whatsoever solely focused on fulfilling his own emotional needs? If it wasn’t for Stiles and Derek, Scott would have been killed off by the hunters and by Peter Hale after exposing his own kind during one of his jealous fits/dick measuring contests with Jackson in Season 1. If it wasn’t for Stiles and Derek, Scott would have hurt Allison and killed Jackson out of jealousy.
Scott knew that becoming a werewolf gave him the power to protect the people he cares about (which includes managing their image of him) and the power to force said protection on them. Teen Wolf S5A and B proved that Scott McCall will lie and manipulate and cheat and gaslight and commit premeditated murder to keep things under his control until he can’t any more; then he’ll explode, whine, throw another one of his self important temper tantrums, and attempt to blame others for his own failures. Why do you think Scott McCall’s body count is higher then the villains’?
Remember how Scott reacted when he found out that Isaac liked Allison? Isaac was a goner the moment he interacted with “HIS” woman. Scott never ever had the slightest hesitation (or any regret) about physically punishing him. Dead man walking. In fact, the only reason Scott stopped abusing Isaac in front of Melissa was because he started preying on the new girl on campus and, quoting Tyler Posey’s own words, “Kira is a good distraction for Scott.”
Perhaps that’s what Scott stans mean when they wax lyrical over how much of an incredible wolf and ‘true alpha’ Scott makes in self-insert Scott McCall Supremacist fan fiction after self insert Scott McCall Supremacist fan fiction: they admire how many innocent people Scott murders and how many abuse victims Scott maims, abuses and violates while working out his delusions of grandeur, pathological jealousy and emotional issues.
Scott McCall had that 10-episode span where he plotted/conspired with Deaton and Gerard Argent against Derek Hale and his Pack behind everyone’s back; which culminated in self proclaimed hero and ruler of Beacon Hills Scott violating Derek’s boundaries, bodily autonomy and consent and committing premeditated attempted murder just because: “He threatened my mom! I had no choice!”
And yet, the Scott McCall defense squad trolls are adamant that Scott immediately flipped an emotional control switch and resolved all his issues. Of course Scott McCall wouldn’t lash out and savagely attack the moment his friends chose to kick his whiny ass to the curb for good or suggested that Scott didn’t have the right to make their decisions for them. Nope! Ice-cold control. Clear loyalties, superior morality and leadership skills. A good, nurturing friend, boyfriend and werewolf and a true blessing to the pack. /sarcasm
While canon shows us that Scott McCall is a flop wolf (even his only beta Liam and his girlfriend Malia called him a failure to his face in Season 5), everything in canon confirms that Stiles Stilinski would make a magnificent werewolf. Born Wolf Peter Hale has always known this – that’s why he offers Stiles the Bite in Season 1 and then shamelessly admits that he NEVER stopped fantasizing about biting/turning Stiles in Season 6.
In conclusion: if Teen Wolf had revolved around the Hale Pack and family and werewolf Stiles and/or Dark Stiles & Void Stiles like viewers wanted, it would have been a better and much more interesting show than whatever Scott/Posey crap-show we got (and it would have lasted longer, too.)
The Teen Wolf writers and producers should have killed Scott McCall off in Season 1 Episode 1 and replaced him with Vernon Boyd or Kira Yukimura instead.

Ohhh, do I have opinions about… all of those things. So, in no particular order:
Hale pack; Hale pack 2.0; werewolf Stiles; pretty sure I answered Boyd as the MC before; Kira;
Did I ever actually post that TW would have to deal with fundamentally different themes if Stiles/Allion were bitten instead or did I just go nope NaNo project?
Okay, let’s see, how would a show that actually focused on worldbuilding, werewolf dynamics/culture outside of “I’m the alpha now”, and pack-as-family be more interesting than a show about what is either the most hilariously bad excuse for a Good Guy™, or an unsatisfying good guy turned villain story that didn’t realise that we were actually interested in the character’s lives outside of Scott?
With the Hale pack 2.0, the show would be about rebuilding that, about human and werewolf norms clashing, and finding a middle ground that isn’t “you’ll heal/werewolves made them do it”.
Because TW does have so much potential for all those things, but Scott’s not interested in them unless it directly affects or benefits him; but we never see non-abusive pack dynamics.
And this might just be because I grew up with wolfblood/still haven’t finished the order, but actually seeing that kind of pack bonding/history outside of “let’s save the day” is so much more interesting.
-
Werewolf!Stiles is interesting, because I can and have seen it both ways with a pretty even split?
(I’ve also answered Stiles saying yes to the bbite at least twice now, and that answer hasn’t changed. Unless it’s time travel. post5a/b Stiles asking Peter or Derek for the bite would be hilarious.)
First off, “Stiles would kill everyone he lies about giving a shit about!1!1!” is absolutely hilarious, given that Scott was the one who tried to kill Stiles, hurt and only didn’t kill Jackson because Derek and Stiles interfered, hurt Isaac, because of “control issues”. But sure, Stiles is the one who would kill everyone on sight. /sarcasm
Okay, so. Stiles wants to be part of this world, does everything he can to learn about it and knows when you can’t do something because werewolves. He has also shown that he’s willing to make sacrifices (skipping the lacrosse game in 1x9(?)/Eichen House in 3b/the relationship with his dad) if it meant keeping people safe, because he knew not doing those things would hurt people more than they could benefit him.
(Meanwhile we have Scott “being bullied” into playing lacrosse/not caring if The Darkness™ hurt anyone— Isaac or anyone at school/lied to his mom, Allison, Kira constantly. Go figure)
Other than that, I honestly can’t tell how much control I would want canon!Stiles to have. Because with fic, I could go either way, for obvious I need to fixate on something other than adhd and werewolves, please, reasons, but canon? I don’t think perfect control on at least the first full moon is something that's actually possible given, you know, canon. And depending on if you go with Stiles being bitten instead of Scott, it’s not a particularly interesting story.
But everything in canon suggests that he would be self aware enough to know that, and not go to a party like a certain other person I will not name here.
-
But that’s one of the main— issues I have with this line of thinking. It’s always how would this compare to Scott. You always outdo the other, when you can’t really compare it in the sense they are both very different people, who are going to handle the same situation very differently. Scott’s go to response when Shit Happens is to avoid it for as long as possible by distracting himself with school/lacrosse/gf of the season; while, despite for that throwaway line, Stiles always needs to be there— he researches werewolves, stalks Theo, helps the Hales.
As I said before, neither is the most thought out or safe option, both are a normal response, but you can’t— It’s hard to compare them because Scott got bitten “because of” Stiles, and didn’t have any how to werewolf 101 he really listened to. While with Stiles it’s either a) him getting “himself” bitten that night and being excited about it, b) him wanting the bite, knowing what to expect, with a lot less trauma, c) getting bitten without consent but with that understanding of what is happening.
-
Now, Kira’s story is something I would pay good money to actually see done right. Because can you imagine of they did kill off Scott in 3a, and Kira had to navigate a) BH’s drama, b) coming into her own powers, c) actually dealing with not being fucking told about that, and d) not being fucking lied to end just getting yeeted into the desert?

It's not on the list of prompts but I saw this a while ago and thought you could definitely make a cool short story out of it :) "Whenever I'm around him my stomach starts to feel all weird and fluttery... I think I might be allergic to him!"
(Plus, from the other anon: “Time to ruin everything”)
 It’s been going on for weeks now and Liam really tried his best to ignore it, but he physically can’t anymore. Theo is not even doing anything, just chilling on his bed scrolling down his phone and there’s a good five feet between them, but Liam’s body is still reacting to the Chimera’s presence, his stomach a chaos of weird sensations he’s starting to get familiar with and he just can’t take it. It sucks, because since after the fight against the hunters he and Theo have grown pretty close, he would die rather than say it out loud but they’re almost friends now, and Liam actually enjoys his company, so he really doesn’t want to do this, but here he goes.
 “Theo.”
Time to ruin everything.
“Yes?”
“I need to tell you something, but you have to promise you won’t get mad at me or blame me.”
Theo immediately glares at him, already mad, because nobody ever listens to Liam and he clearly still can’t be trusted. “What did you do.”
“No, see, that’s already wrong, it’s not something I did, it doesn’t depend from me, I’m just as much a victim as you are. Promise you won’t blame me.”
“Whatever, I promise. Now tell me.”
 You’re not supposed to roll your eyes like that while promising something and Liam considers making Theo aware of this fact, but his mouth has other plans and he finds himself just blurting it out. “You can’t live here anymore.”
Liam is the one that just said that, and he’s also the one showing a bigger reaction to it: his eyes widen and his hands fly to grab his own hair in panic, all of it while Theo stares at him completely impassive.
“Okay.” He says after a few seconds and then he’s slipping his phone in his pocket and standing up to leave, as if nothing happened.
“Okay?” Liam repeats incredulous. That’s it? "You don’t even wanna know why?”
Theo shrugs and Liam visualizes himself tackling the chimera to the floor. “It’s your house, you don’t have to justify yourself if you don’t want me here anymore.”
“So you don’t want to know why.” Liam repeats slowly, a dangerous edge in his voice. Now he visualizes himself punching him.
 “I’m going to pack my stuff.” Theo announces and he actually walks out of the room.
“You are actually leaving” Liam follows him, his fists closing automatically as a low growl grazes his throat. “Just like that.”
“Are you seriously getting mad at me right now? You’re the one throwing me out.”
“You can bet I’m mad!” Liam yells, his blood boiling in his veins and coloring his cheeks. “How can you just leave? Without even asking why? I can’t believe you’re being such an asshole right now, why are you not mad at me?!”
Finally Theo turns to look at him, an exasperated spark in his eyes. “You asked me not to blame you.”
“I also asked you to stop stealing my favourite hoodie but guess what. And give it to me, you can’t pack it with your stuff, it’s mine!” Theo actually growls now and a second later Liam is been hit in the face by his hoodie.
 “You’re mad.” He states, immediately wearing it so Theo will have to steal him too if he wants it.
 “Am not.”
“Yes, admit that you’re mad, come on.”
“I am not mad, I’m calmly packing my stuff and moving out of your house without being mad or blaming you one bit, just as you asked.” Theo insists and it’s so annoying how controlled he is as he barely pays attention to Liam and folds his shirts as if his life depended on it.
 “Oh my god, you’re such a liar! Standing there, pretending you’re an angel while you’re secretly blaming me even if I asked you not to do that. And you don’t even ask why! You fold all your stupid shirts because God forbid you get creases on your shirts, that’s what would upset you! Creases! That’s all you care about! I hate you so much!” At this point Liam jumps on the bed and starts punching Theo’s pillow with all of his strength, faster and faster, with no mercy. “I hate you!”
“Liam, stop punching the pillow.”
“Liam, stop punching the pillow” Liam mocks him, giving a final punch just to prove his freedom. “Stop spying on me and everything I do, you creep.”
“You’re in my room.”
“It’s not your room, you’re leaving, remember?” Liam mutters bitter. “You’re leaving and you don’t even care.”
“I’m leaving because you want me to leave, stop blaming this on me!”
Theo yelled and Liam feels like yelling too now, but eventually he just sighs, trying to pat the pillow back to its original shape.
“Look, I don’t want you to leave, I just don’t know what else to do. I’m sick.”
“Clearly.”
“No, like, physically. In my stomach.”
“What?”
“I tried to ignore it but it’s getting worse. Every single time you walk into a room, my stomach goes crazy. I can’t do anything about it, I just get sick. And I know it’s going to sound bad, but there’s no other explanation: Theo,” Liam takes a deep breath. “I’m allergic to you.”
There. He said it. They can find a solution together now.
Except that Theo just gave him the most hateful glare ever and left, because of course he chooses to get offended by something Liam has no control over. Of fucking course.
“Theo, wait! You can’t blame me, remember? And you can stay at Mason’s until we figure out how to fix this, I bet Deaton knows a cure, maybe it’s something about you being a Chimera? Like, who knows what kind of weird stuff there is in your blood, no offence but it’s one hundred percent your or the Dread Doctors fault if I’m allergic to you, not mine. I’m the normal one here! Theo!”
The entrance door downstairs slams loudly and Liam starts to punch Theo’s pillow again.
Fuck him, getting mad at him for this. So childish.
 **
 Liam ends up fighting with Mason too because apparently being sick is something to be ashamed of nowadays and siding with your best friend instead of with an ex murderer is démodé, so when Liam opens the door he’s expecting to see Mason with an apology cake or an apology pizza or an apology something.
But there’s no pizza or cake in front of him.
 “So, the thing your stomach does when you see me, going crazy, would you also define it as painful or is just unsettling? Can you give me three words to describe it exactly?”
There’s no Mason either.
“I…yes, unsettling is a good word for it. Fluttery too. And Annoying. Yes, definitely annoying.”
“So no pain.” Theo nods thoughtful.
“I wouldn’t call it pain, but it’s still unpleasant. Also we don’t know what could happen if I just keep exposing myself to the thing I’m allergic at, I could die, just because it doesn’t hurt it doesn’t mean that-”
“Just answer the questions, Liam. Preferably with a yes or no.” Theo holds up a hand to shut him up and Liam is so offended by that, but he also doesn’t talk until Theo puts the hand down. “Does any other part of your body react to the subject in question too? Your neck for example?”
 “What does my neck have anything to do with this, I told you it’s the stom-well, now that I think about it, if we’re too close the sides of my neck get kinda hot. Like, something in my werewolf blood that react to your chimera essence maybe? Because it happens sometimes, it just flows somewhere all of a sudden and that’s annoying too.”
“Mhmh.” Theo mumbles, clearly starting to put the pieces together. “What about excessive sweating? Confusion? Rushes of adrenaline for no reason? Are those symptoms familiar too?”
“Oh my god, yes. What is it Theo? Do you know? Is it bad?” Liam doesn’t want to die.
 “What about your heart, anything weird with that?” The heart? Theo thinks he has a heart sickness? Those are bad, god, it’s bad. He’ll die young, like all the best people do.
“I don’t know! I never paid attention to it, I think…it’s okay now.”
 “I see. So this is a safe distance.” Theo nods and then he takes a step closer, and then another one. “What if the subject gets closer. Like now.”
 “Nothing, it’s still oka-shit. It’s going really fast. Shit. What it is, Theo? Tell me!”
“Do you also find hard to breath?”
Liam is gasping. He’ll die, he’ll die.
 “A little.”
“I know what this is.”
“You do? Did the Dread Doctors planned this? They turned you into a poison for werewolves, didn’t they! Oh my god, do we have an antidote? We need an antidote, I can’t die, the world needs me Theo, what will everyone do without m-” Liam is still panicking when Theo grabs the front of his shirt, drags him out and slams him against the wall. That’s not how you treat sick, probably dying people, but before he can complain about it Theo has shoved his tongue inside Liam’s mouth and there’s no doubt anymore, Theo is poison and every single part of Liam’s body is catching fire.
 When Liam finds the strength to move his hands in Theo’s hair and stop him, he already moved to his neck and Liam tries to force his fingers to try and pull him away, but the trail of fire Theo is leaving on his bare skin is making all of him weak and all he can do is moan in desperation because the sickness got to his mind and he doesn’t even want to defend himself now. This is how he dies.
“You’re not allergic to me” Theo says eventually, taking a step back to admire what remains of Liam. Which is some kind of shaking pudding. “You have a crush on me.”
Liam frowns because oh, that actually makes sense, but before he can react in any way the door is slamming next to him and he’s alone outside. “Hey!”
“I like you too, but you’re staying at Mason tonight to reflect on your actions. Next time you’ll think twice before throwing me out.”

the song part 1
Part I: The Girl with Mystery in her Eyes
Tumblr media
  Summary: Lydia fears that her cousin may be in danger so she convinces everyone to go to her in New York.
  Fandom: Teen Wolf
  Warning: Angst, talk of assault possibly, some language but other than that, not a lot
  Author’s Note: Series alert? I just finished watching the entire Teen Wolf series and I cried like a baby. But one thing I always thought could’ve been an interesting story line was if there was a Siren -- especially since Lydia is a Banshee. I figured they’re similar mythologies and if they were related it would totally make sense. So that’s what this is. Hope you enjoy!
  P.S.: If you couldn’t tell, I’m going to try and make this a Theo x Calli fic. Let me know if you like that and if you would rather have it be (Y/N) or if you are okay with having a Character name in there.
 P.P.S.: If you’re wondering, the name came from this quiz I took -- yes I actually took a quiz to find a siren name -- and the full name was Calliope so that’s why I used that.

Lydia’s P.O.V
  After months of relative quiet, you woke up in a cold sweat. You were breathless for a second before a name left your lips
  “Calli.” You hadn’t seen your cousin in years, not since she moved to New York, so when her face popped up in a vision you weren’t sure what to think.
  “She looked terrified, Scott,” you said, standing in front of your friend trying to get him to take the trip out with you, “and like she was being cornered.”
  “Maybe that’s just her face?” Peter stated sarcastically, leading you to roll your eyes
  “Lydia, you said you haven’t seen her in years right?” Stiles asked
  “Right…”
  “So, maybe it’s nothing. Maybe she was getting yelled at by a teacher or her boss or something? Not everything has to be a warning”
  “It does when you’re a Banshee.” The group collectively raised their eyebrows and considered your option
  “You really think she’s in trouble?” Scott leaded
  “I do.” He took a second to look around the group and agreed to go to New York before Theo chimed in
  “Is she like you?” You hesitated for a second before answering
  “Honestly I don’t know…”
  “Well that’s comforting..” Theo remarked and you rolled your eyes again. You weren’t feeling like arguing anymore, and definitely not with Theo, so you turned away and continued toward the car.
  “You’re not thinking of taking your Jeep are you?” You heard Malia call to Stiles
  “Uhm.. obviously.” he snarked
  “Stiles, that thing is going to break down within the first half hour”
  “It’s my Jeep”
  “It’s a piece of trash”
  “It’s my Jeep” he repeated
  “Stiles, just get in my car”
  “But… my Jeep…?”
  “Stiles, let’s go!” With a loud whine, he slumped into your front seat and you began the long haul out to New York City. It was a mistake to think you could get there easily or quickly with how many of you that were travelling there and you ended up getting into the city three days later.
  “We really should’ve just flown” Liam said as he stepped out of the car and began stretching.
  “Well we’re here now. Come on, she’s staying with my Uncle.” You directed the group to the old familiar building where you remembered spending a few Christmases with your cousin, walking up the stairs and knocked on the door; soon met by the warm smile of your Uncle Ron.
  “Little Lydia, is that you?” he chimed
  “It’s me..” you returned, uncomfortably before asking about Calli.
  “She’s at work. I was actually just on my way there. It’s not far, we can walk together.” He led you through the busy sidewalks and you finally ended up at a bar that seemed to double as a lounge -- people were signing up to perform and cycling through like they were in revolving doors. You looked for your cousin in the crowd, telling Scott and the others what she looked like so they could do the same when you heard a laugh from across the room.
  “Calli” you said under your breath but apparently Theo was close enough to hear and he followed your eye line to her
  “That’s her?” he asked and you nodded, “well that was easy!”
  “I wouldn’t start celebrating yet” Peter said from behind the two of you, making you turn to face him
  “What does that mean?” You asked
  “You don’t feel it?” He seemed to say it more to Theo than to you, even so, both you and Theo shook your heads, “that’s not just a girl. She’s not like us but she’s not really human either…”
  “What is she then?” Theo asked, shifting his eyes from Peter to Calli
  “Let’s find out, shall we?” Peter grinned just as a girl approached Calli and you watched as your cousin’s face contorted with sympathy, making you wonder what was happening; and what Peter knew.
xx
Calli’s P.O.V
  “Come on! Everyone loved it last time” Shannon, a regular at open mic night, said; trying to convince you to sing for her again
  “It’s cheating. You have such a great voice, you don’t need mine” you tried, leaning in to try and comfort her by resting your hand on her shoulder
  “But I do! My stage fright is terrible. Knowing that I have your voice to fall back on helps me stay calm up there”
  “I think that’s a problem” your friend, Matty, said and Shannon rolled her eyes
  “Whatever Matty. Please, Calli. This will be the last time, I promise.” She gave you a knowing look and you sighed, agreeing reluctantly as the MC called her up on stage
  “I have to get behind the curtain,” you said, getting up before Matty grabbed your wrist, “HEY!”
  “No, you’re not going anywhere,” he said forcefully, “if she’s gonna ask you to do this then she should live with the consequences”
  “The consequences?” you scoffed
  “Let the people see, appreciate, whose voice they’re actually listening to.” You were about to counter his argument when the MC gestured for you and Matty to control the sound; Matty handed you a microphone as Shannon sat down at the piano. This was always a tricky position because you couldn’t see her lips, and you never really practiced this, it was just something you’d done from time to time but it was going well so far. The first verse flowed into the chorus and you could feel the stillness in the room and, against your better judgement, you began to let the song take over.
  “When you go quiet, and won’t let your guard down, I hear through the silence that you’re trying to figure it out, You’re trying to make me proud. Believe me now. Baby, to the moon and back. I still love you more than that…”
  You noticed a group begin to form around you and Matty but the rest of the audience was still facing Shannon so you kept singing
  “We may fall but we’ll keep on going, we may break but we won’t stay broken. Through the cracks in the road, the flowers grow ooh ooh. Before you see our storm clouds forming and the sun won’t rise in the morning, you should know…”
  You finally noticed Lydia as the song came slowly to its end and your face scrunched, pulling her aside when the music stopped.
  “What are you doing here?”
  “You were in trouble?” she said, almost as a question but more of a statement so you shook your head, “No I mean I thought you were in trouble. Aren’t you?”
  “No, Lyd’s I’m fine. I’m a little confused why you brought an entire… gang with you to ask if I was okay. How did you even know where to find me?”
  “Why me, of course!” Uncle Ron said, sliding one hand onto your lower back and you froze in place, all the while hoping it wasn’t obvious.
  “Uncle Ron, you never got the chance to meet my friends. This is Stiles, Scott, Malia, Liam, Theo, Peter, Derek, Jordan and Mason.” She introduced her friends by pointing at them as she said their names and you smiled awkwardly in response, “Everyone this is my Uncle Ron and my cousin, Calli”
  “It’s nice to meet you all. And, please, stay with us. I’m betting you never figured out a hotel room before you came here, am I right?” Uncle Ron joked, his hand still on your back
  “You are” Stiles answered and you tried to manage a few words but nothing was coming out, just another awkward smile and all of you stood there in silence, waiting for someone to break the tension
  “You have a captivating voice, by the way,” Peter said, bringing a blush to your cheeks.
  “Doesn’t she though? We’ve told her not to do that though, sing for her friends, it’s a lie and she knows better than to lie…” He said, practically whispering in your ear, “don’t you Calli?”
  “We agreed it would be the last time, she was just nervous” you finally said and finally managed to escape your Uncle’s touch and you briefly caught Theo’s stare; thinking you’d look away just as quickly but you found yourself lost in his features and you couldn’t help but notice that he wasn’t looking away either. When Matty finally spoke, your eyes tore away from Theo’s and whipped to Matty
  “Anyone hungry? The food is pretty good here, so feel free to tell someone you know Calli and they’ll get to you before anyone else”
  “We wouldn’t want to get in anyone’s way..” Lydia said, confusion in her tone
  “You wouldn’t have to. Seriously, it happens every time. You say her name at the bar and they rush to take care of you,” Matty scrunched his eyebrows as he spoke, “it’s kinda weird actually…”
  “My shift is almost over, but I can probably get Sam to let me go early and then we can talk about what you’re doing here”
  “You don’t have t--”
  “You came all the way from California and I’m supposed to just think that everything’s okay?” you questioned
  “I told you, I thought you were in trouble”
  “If that were it, you would’ve called. Just let me clock out.” You said and walked off, telling Sam that you were taking an early night and he let you go without any issues, just like you’d expected, and you grabbed Lydia and her friends and took off. You wandered to your room to change while the group sat down and waited for you to come out and talk to you. And as you turned around, you caught Theo’s eyes again and you swore you felt a literal spark in your chest.
xx
Theo’s P.O.V
  You kept finding her stare, and you couldn’t tell if it was on purpose or not but every time you did, you seemed to forget everything. You were snapped back to the group when Calli’s door closed
  “Figure it out yet?” Peter whispered over your shoulder
  “What?” you asked, turning to face him
  “What she is. Did you figure it out yet?”
  “No. I honestly think she’s just a girl”
  “Think about the night. Think about the events. Think about how you feel when she’s around. Think about Lydia and what she is”
  “She’s not a banshee”
  “But what do banshees do?”
  “Predict death? Scream loud enough to make your ears bleed?”
  “Right. So, what is something similar but also the opposite of that?” When it finally hit you, you were even more unsure if you were feeling something for her or if you were being hypnotized
  “Siren” you whispered
  “What?” Lydia asked, clearly overhearing your conversation
  “Your cousin’s a Siren. I’ve never met one,” Peter stated, “but I’ve heard they’re around. And it makes sense that she’s your cousin. You both get your power from your voice”
  “So.. what does this mean for her? Is she in danger?” Scott asked, standing up
  “Not her,” Peter said, as Calli opened her door and began walking toward the group, “those around her might be though.” You could feel Peter looking at you, a grin appearing on his lips as he spoke, but you couldn’t look away.
  And you didn’t want to.

The College Society Chapter 2 Part 8
This is the last part !
Damian Nicholas Smith-Carrey Thursday January 10 – Friday January 11
It was his last exam. The Dean's grandson finished it easily. He was sure to pass anyway. When he went out, he glimpsed Theo. The bastard was waiting for him. What the hell does he want ?
"Hey buddy." he said with a grin. "You have a minute ?"
"Make it thirty seconds, I don't have the fuckin' time to talk with you."
"Okay. I'll chase Liam after all. I want him."
"You want him."
You greedy pig. Fuckin' asshole. Dickhead. I don't know enough curses to qualify you. Damian Nicholas Smith-Carrey just smiled dangerously. This bally fucker.
"And why are you suddenly interested ? You failed month ago to get him."
"That's right, but I think I can be in luck now. I have some... advantage. And damn, he became so hot during christmas. Hunky but chunky. I love it. Sorry, you were too slow. He's mine now."
The blond lad just laughed. He laughed so loud that all the students around heard him.
"You're a little swaggerer Theophile. Are you seriously defying me ?"
"Hell yes."
Not that far ago, you were begging me just to have the right to suck my cock. You'll regret this overconfidence. Liam had faced a hunter way more dangerous than Theo. He survived to this Raphaël dude, he can beat a fucking swimteam captain like you too.
"You don't ask what's my plan ?" wondered the law student.
"Sorry but... since you're not a real opponent, I don't care." replied the Dean's grandson.
"Really ? Well, considering you're hunting him for more than one month now, I can only suppose you are rusty. Maybe the best hunter just failed. Maybe he isn't the best anymore."
"And maybe you are missing my dick so much you want it again ? Who knows ? I'm done with your bullshit for today. Bye."
The next morning came quickly. Damian Nicholas Smith-Carrey didn't sleep well, because he and his spy Nancy made some research about Theo. And they discovered something really interesting and important. Maybe he have a fucking advantage after all. After that, Nancy and him had had sex, and so he had slept only four or five hours. Anyway, he got some business to make. The faster, the better. The Dean's grandson met Steve Callagan, the head of the music club, in his room. He had just finished a breakfast apparently. There were one thing or two to know about the guy. He was a watcher hunter. He loved to see two chicks or one guy one girl have sex. No gay tho. Never understood why. Two guys, two dicks, it can be funny. And Steve had, like Theo, an official girlfriend, the lovely Bettany. Her name is a porn in itself. Anyway, they were cute together, except Bettany was a chubby chaser and fattened the musician quite a bit. There're more people liking meaty partner than you would say at the first sigh. Myself included some time.
"You want something Damian Nicholas Smith-Carrey ?" asked Steve when they were alone.
"I heard you had two tickets for this famous movie saturday. I want them." he commanded. "A porn tape in exchange ? I have recorded a lot of stuff during the holidays, including a sexy delivery girl. Exactly your taste."
"I'm sorry dude but... Matthew Davos from the swimteam already gave me a video of himself and this black runner chick. I took it against a concert ticket. And now Betty really wants to see the movie."
For god sake. Who care about a stupid black girl who looks like an elephant and a little thief ?
"Give me those ticket or I swear to god I'm going to find Bettany straight away and I'll fuck her so hard that she'll be unable to walk for a week. Then I'll be back there and you'll suck my fuckin' dick until you couldn't blow in this stupid tuba of yours. Okay ?"
And Damian Nicholas Smith-Carrey got the tickets.
Liam Saturday Januray 12
When he finished his lenghts at the pool, the chestnut lad took a deep breath and went to see Colton. Exams were over and this afternoon, Dami invited him to see a movie. He hadn't much time to discuss with his friend, but he intented to help him as much as possible. But I hope he'll not talk about my past... Colton was currently stretching. Normally, Christmas was the perfect time to be slacking a bit. (Liam did. He had lost a bit of definition but he was working out again now). (It might be the reason why all those girls were accosting him at the gym or the pool). (But he always tried to avoid them, because he suspected the witch to be among the crowd). Anyway, Colton as for him was as handsome as ever. Well-built, not too strong, not too thin. He hadn't the single bit of fat on him. (To Liam, it was a lost, but whatever).
"Hey buddy." started the chestnut lad. "How went your exams ?"
"Good I think." replied his friend. "But I wasn't as focused as I wanted to."
"Why that ?"
Liam decided to play it dumb. It was better than talking about Leila who had threatened him. (She was the evil twin, obviously).
"Barbara cheated on me, and then she left me." Colton confessed with sadness. "She said it was better this way."
Of course, the dark-haired lad was too diplomat to say something mean. He had a sweet tone, even when he announced bad news. Liam suspected him to be half teddy bear. (Teddies Bears were alive, yes, and sometimes they sent a child in the human's world). Anyway, the lad was disgressing. He was here to help his friend.
"Maybe I can do something about it ?" he asked. "Wait, did you said she cheated on you ?"
(Yeah, it took a long time before Liam realised what it meant).
"She didn't say with who, but I'm guessing someone important at the university, cuz right after, she became the future head of the student union. When this girl, Summer, will finish her mandate, they will present Barbara as their favourite candidate. Anyway, I think we can't do much about this. I'm going to swim now, see you later."
Well, she liked to be the class delegate in highschool after all... Liam had suddenly an idea. He could probably know who was the guy in question. He just had to ask Dami. (He was pretty sure this one was important for the university). (He once had said something about the Dean, but Liam didn't remenber well). And then, maybe he could work on something.
Speaking of the devil, he met Dami on the early afternoon for a movie. His blond friend carried with him a bag filled with something, but he didn't say what. They entered in the theater and took their sit.
"You'll see, it's a good movie." assured Dami. "And there, I cooked this. Tell me if you like it."
He offered a cake. Two month ago, Liam would have declined. (At least try, because his friend had some authority). But now, he glady ate it. The film went like this. It really was good. And the chestnut lad consumed everything Dami gave him. He just didn't realised how much it was. There were all kind of pastries, crusty and spongy, with cream, jam or chocolate. In Liam mind, they were both eating peacefully. Yet, at some point he discreetly slipped a hand beneath his shirt and rubbed his belly. He was rather bloated. (It didn't stop him to eat whatever Dami offered tho). Eventually, he realised his tum was very swollen. Looks like I'm stuffed. I ate more than I thought. For a moment, Dami stopped. The movie was almost over when something happen. But Liam didn't realised it happen until the end. When he was about to stand up, he noticed his friend was holding his free hand. Oh.
"I asked you if it was fine." whispered the blond lad. "And you said nothing."
His eyes were showing a mix of excitment and cautiousness. Liam hesitated a second. What does this mean exactly ? Maybe Nate is right. Maybe Dami saw this as a date. But was it a problem ? Liam didn't know the answer at this question. He soflty took his hand off.
"Don't worry, I'm okay with it." he said. "Can you tell me something ?"
His friend frowned, but nodded.
"You probably know Barbara Henrion ? Is there a chance you know who slept with her and offered her a favor afterwards ?"
"She had sex with Javier Esposito, the vice-president of the student union." answered quickly Dami. "This one told me about this. But you know, they're all sleeping with each other in this union."
"Well thank you. And thank you for the movie and the snacks. You really are an awesome chef dude. I have to go to work now so... see you soon."
Liam then joined the night shift of Pasta's Place, as usual. The work happened to be a bit difficult with a full belly, but he managed to do well. Judy checked on him at least ten times. She said he must be careful at everytime of the night and the day. According to her, there was some guy who might corrupt him. (Liam supposed she was referring to some minions sent by the forces of chaos). Anyway, before going to bed, the lad called Nate. Luckily, this one wasn't partying this time, just chillin' at his place. They rapidly talked about Dami, obviously.
"To my opinion, you should give it a try." suggested his bestfriend. "I mean, you deserve a bit of happiness after all what happened. And I think you're ready now, you got enough time since your ex. Plus Damian sounds cool."
"I don't know man. Maybe I'll ruin everything like last time. I don't feel confident yet..."
"Dude, you were in highschool, it was your very first relationship with another boy and he had a lot of issue on his own." reminded Nate. "Damian is two years older than you. He's certainly more mature. It'll be different. It has to be."
Liam nodded slowly. As always, his soulmate was right. But he needed to go slowly. I mean, I don't know Dami that much after all... I must take my time.
"I bet you nodded." whispered Nate. "You know I can't see you through the phone right ?"
Rebecca Monday January 14 LAST PART
She never thought things would change like this, in such a short amount of time. Emilio didn't show up ever again. Of course, she still met him during the University's training. But he avoided her. Bob noticed, but said nothing. In fact, there was one thing her coach didn't know. Rebecca was now dating Matthew. Like Chelsea. They were both with him. It's a nonsense but I don't know. I feel good with him. He was kind, way more than she thought. He also was protective. She felt at ease with him. And god know how supportive he was. When she had been dating Emilio, they were used to talk about running. But he had never encouraged her like Matt did. Chelsea and her were the best among the team, and he was proud of it. He didn't hide his love for both of them. And the weirdest thing ? Sex with the blond lad and Chelsea was awesome. Way different than everything she had try before. The man led the ride, and she was glad with it. I know it only has been six days since we started but... I wonder why I hated him in the first place. He had admitted he was jealous of her at first but it had evolved in feelings for her. So basically, Matthew had a crush and regretted what he had done so he decided to help her. And now they were dating, the three of them together. It was weird, but Rebecca wasn't disliking it.
This evening, during the swim training, she couldn't stop herself staring at her new boyfriend. His tight swimsuit highlighted his handsome body. She had learnt he was 182 cm (6'0") for quite a chunky 77 kg (170 lbs). He was muscular but thick, and she loved it. Liam and Theo might be the only in the pool who could rivalise, despite being both thinner.
"You're looking at Matt with a lot of admiration." pointed out Laura. "Maybe you wanna told me somethin' ?"
"Not really. I was just watching."
"Yeah, watching eh." laughed the petite blonde. "You know, since you broke up with Emilio, you can find another man but... Matthew is with Chelsea. And not your type to be honest. A bit too cocky I think."
"You must be right."
It was what she had thought at the beginning of the year. But he saved her from Emilio. And she liked his confidence eventually. He wasn't a bad guy. Laura continued :
"Anyway, I have another topic to talk about... Promise me you won't be mad."
"Who can against you ? You're so lovely."
"Thanks for that. So... I know things aren't fine between Nick and you. And at first, I thought it was none of my business but... I can stand it anymore. I think you're wrong, since the very outset. I mean, he helped you on several occasion, and yeah, he's a smart aleck, but he was always there for you. And you, what did you do exactly ?"
Rebecca opened her mouth but... nothing came out. She had no good excuse. I was just too proud to admit I was wrong. Their argument started when she had tried to change him. I did that in order to make him conform to my standards. It's not fair.
"You're right." she admitted. "The blame is on me. But what should I do now ? Our friendship is completely over. And you know what ?"
"Hum ?"
"I don't care anymore. Before, when I dated Emilio, I felt guilty but not anymore. I think I understood how works the college society."
"Really ?"
"Hunt, or be hunted, as simple as that." Rebecca affirmed. "I found a pack, and now, I'm ready to be on the hunter side. Nick isn't my concern anymore."
To be continued
And so here we are...
Congratulations Rebecca, you’re now a hunter ! She’s free from Emilio and she found something meaningful for her. Let’s say she’s perfectly fitting in the College Society now ;)
As for Liam well, seems like feeding him was the good choice ! What can make him happier than a full tummy I wonder ? But Damian can still screw this up for sure... And the war with Theo only begins !
Like last time, The College Society will be on hiatus for two or three weeks. Chapter 3 will be longer, and we’ll have a new character POV !
In the meantime, you can read To the Perfection, my other weight gain story !

Riley felt exposed walking back to the group, like what just happened with Liam was written all over her face. In theory there was no reason for anyone to know she was with Liam, but what if they did? She walked past Drake on the way, making sure to avoid his gaze. She got a pit in her stomach wondering just how much Liam and Drake told each other. Would he find out, and would he care? This suddenly mattered to Riley more than it should. Regardless of whatever her newfound feelings for Drake meant, she was here for Liam, and she really was falling for him. Riley was sure this little crush she had on Drake would pass.
"Riley!” Hana called her over to the table where an she was already seated for dinner. "I saved you a seat. How did it go?"
"How did what go? Oh..right the incident report. Everything's good. It's just a liability thing."
"That's good. It's looks like you got some sun today. Your cheeks are pretty pink."
Riley felt her cheeks with her hands. They were still flushed and warm, but it wasn't from the sun. "Oh, yeah...I forgot to re-apply sunscreen," she lied. “Anyways, did I miss anything while I was gone?”
“No...nothing interesting at least. Liam was gone most of the time handling some business calls, so some of the ladies were complaining about that,” Hana replied.
“They can’t just expect the Crown Prince to ignore all of his duties during the social season,” Riley said, feeling only slightly guilty. “Well, I’m famished. Let’s eat!”
Liam arrived back a few minutes later and was directed by the crew to an open seat at a table at the opposite end from where Riley was sitting. Riley didn’t mind too much. She’d take her alone time with Liam over sitting next to him at a group dinner any day.
After dinner, Kat approached Riley. “Everyone else is riding back to the stables now, but I called a car for you since we can’t really shoot any footage of you riding an ATV with a crew member. You and Drake can head back together.
“Oh...” Riley wasn’t expecting that. “Okay, just let me know when it’s time.” She told herself it didn’t need to be awkward. Drake didn’t know what she did with Liam, nor did he know she was was having feelings for Drake. It would be fine.
The car arrived and Drake opened the door for Riley to get in and then got in himself. They sat in silence for the first few minutes for before Riley spoke up.
“You’re quiet this evening, Drake. Is everything okay?”
“Heh, I’m quiet? You should know by now I’m not one for small talk. You are the one that is usually yapping my ear off, Bennett. I should be asking you that question. Did something happen with Liam? Never mind...that’s none of my business”
She didn’t talk that much, did she? Okay, maybe she was always trying to get him to talk to her. And wait...Did he just ask her about Liam? Why would he say that?...unless he knew they had been together.
“Why would you ask about Liam? You were there with us the whole day.”
“I wasn’t with you in the cave.” Drake said with a straight face.
“How did you know--”
“Bennett, its my job to know where you are. And it is Bastien’s job to know where Liam is. And working together as a team, we cover for each other, so we kind of have to know where everyone is.”
“I see. Well nothing happened. Nothing bad anyway...er...not that anything good happened either...It was fine.”
Drake cocked an eyebrow. “Are you sure you are feeling okay? I’m pretty sure I caught you before your head hit the ground.”
“It’s just been a long day. Lots of sun, day drinking, a near death experience...Speaking of...I didn’t really get a chance to thank you. I really appreciate you being there for me. I don’t know what would have happened if you weren’t.”
Drake looked away bashfully. “It was nothing. I was just doing my job.”
Riley wanted to tell him it meant something to her, and that it felt like he actually cared about her, but she thought better of it. “I guess then I’ll just say thank you for being so dedicated to your job...and since we are on the topic, how did you get involved with the King’s Guard? Did you just want an excuse to hang around Liam all the time?”
“Funny Bennett. I should have known your silence was too good to last,” Drake quipped.
“Hey!” Riley hit him playfully on the shoulder. “You're trying to play it cool, but I know you're going to cave in soon."
"Fine. But if I'm going to start telling you my life story, I need a drink first. Are you in?"
"Wait...are you asking me to go get a drink with you somewhere? Is that in your job description?"
"I'm only going to ask once, so if you just want to go back to the palace Bennett, that's fine with me."
"No! I want to go. I just didn't know Drake Walker was such a rebel. Aren't you afraid we are going to get in trouble?"
"Something tells me you aren't one to follow all the rules either. But like I said, we can just go back to the palace."
"No, we're going...wherever its is that we're going," Riley affirmed.
"Ok then."
Drake alerted the Driver and gave him the address. Riley was quiet the rest of the drive. She didn't want to annoy Drake too much and have him change his mind. She did notice that he seemed to be taking up a lot more space in his seat than he needed to, and maybe she had gravitated closer towards the center as well, to the point their legs were lightly brushing up against each other every so often. It was completely incidental of course. At least that is what Riley was pretending.
A few minutes later, they arrived outside a basic looking bar. The mood on the inside matched the outside. It looked similar to a typical neighborhood bar in New York. Nothing fancy, just a bar, some tables, and a pool table with a few neon bar signs. The bartender acknowledged Drake as if he knew him.
"So, do you come here often?" Riley asked. "Oh my god, that sounded like a cheesy pick-up line. How often do you frequent this establishment?"
Drake laughed. "I come here every once in a while. When I just need to get away and clear my head." He turned to the bartender. "Hey Theo, we'll take two. You do drink whiskey, right Bennett?"
"Um, sure. If my options are limited...I mean whiskey is fine."
Theo handed Riley a glass of whiskey on the rocks and she took a sip and cleared her throat. "It burns a bit, but it's not bad."
"I'll make a whiskey drinker out of you yet Bennett. This stuff is okay, no offense Theo, but they have the good stuff is back at the palace."
"So you've decided to make a habit of hanging out with me?" Riley teased.
"No!...well...Liam seems to really like you, so I figure I'll be stuck with you for a while. Might as well make the most of it."
"Sure...So you promised me you'd tell me about yourself over drinks, so go ahead."
"What do you want to know?" Drake asked.
"Well lets start with what I asked back in the car. How did you decide to join the King's Guard?"
"It's kind of a long story. Are you sure you really want to know?"
"I do," Riley encouraged.
"Might as well start at the beginning. The reason I basically grew up in the palace is because my father was in the King's guard."
"Oh, is he retired now?"
"No...he died several years ago...protecting the royal family during an assassination attempt."
“I’m so sorry Drake, I had no idea.”
“At least he died for what he believed in. I really looked up to him.”
“Is that why you joined the Guard then?”
“Actually, no. As much as I admired my father, the more I was around nobles, aside from Liam of course, the more I wanted to get away. I was in their world but never a part of it. It’s all about status and what other people have to offer you. I was always just a commoner with nothing to offer. I might have had certain uses for some of them at times, but I would never be one of them...And I guess that’s why I was kind of hard on you at first. I was conflicted because you are a noble, but you grew up as a commoner. I thought maybe you were just after Liam for his status and I wanted to protect him from you, but at the same time, I thought maybe you could have good intentions, and I felt a need to protect you from becoming one of them. It wasn’t my place, I know.”
“It’s okay, Drake. You know, we probably have more in common than you think. I didn’t grow up around nobles, but I grew up the daughter of a single mother around a bunch of spoiled rich kids. We had enough to get by, probably thanks to whatever money we were getting from Barthelemy, but I never felt like I fit in either. The only true friend I really had was my roommate Sarah. We grew up together and she remains my best friend to this day. I guess could say she is my Liam...And I also lost my mother a couple years ago.”
“Shit Bennett, here I was going on about losing my father and my sad life, and you have lost both of your parents, one of which you never even got to meet. I mean, I don’t really talk to my mother since things got hard for her and she went back to the U.S. after my dad died, but she’s still there at least. I’m so sorry.”
“That can almost be harder sometimes...when they choose to leave. I guess we both kind of had that in a way...but did you say your mom went back to the US? Does that mean she’s from there?”
“Yes, I’m half Cordonian and half American. I guess another similarity we have.”
“See, I’m too much like you for you to hate me....but maybe I’m a bit more optimistic, and a little less sarcastic.”
“And don’t forget that you never stop talking...”
“Okay, I get it, I annoy you,” Riley laughed. ”But lets get back to your story, you wanted to get away, yet here you still are.”
“I actually did get away for awhile. I went to college in the US. I was thinking of making a life for myself there...but then there was another assassination attempt on the royal family. Liam’s brother Leo flew out and asked me to come back. Liam was...not coping well at all. And for some reason, having me back was enough to help get Liam back to being himself. I eventually just gave in and joined the King’s Guard since I was still here anyway.”
“Aww Drake...” Riley put her hand out of Drake’s on instinct. When she realized, she was about to pull back, but Drake didn’t flinch. He stared into her eyes a long moment and then looked away.
“Yes I know, I’m totally soft inside...a complete marshmallow. Don’t tell anyone. I would like to retain my reputation as surly and unapproachable.”
Riley gave Drakes hand a soft squeeze and then let go. “I knew from the beginning there was more to you than meets the eye. I just didn’t think I’d be able to get it out of you in less than two weeks.”
“You wore me down Bennett. It usually takes a lot more than two drinks to get half that much out of me. You have a gift”
“People have always been able to open up to me. I guess that’s why I was going to grad school to become a psychotherapist.”
“That’s not fair! You were using your therapist tricks on me.”
“No tricks, I swear. It’s just how I am.”
“Whatever you say Bennett. I’m going to have to be more careful around you. On that note, we should probably get back to the palace before someone sends out a search party for you.”
~~~~
They got back to the palace, and Drake walked Riley back to her room. They went in through a side entrance and thankfully didn’t run into anyone on the way. Drake really didn’t want to get her, or himself in any trouble.
Riley opened up her door and turned back to Drake. “Thank you again Drake...for everything today. I had a good time with you tonight.”
“I actually had a good time too, even with you making me spill my secrets.”
“I know there’s more in there. I’ll get them out eventually. You know I like a challenge.”
Drake stared at Riley’s mouth as she talked. She paused and he didn’t look away. He felt an undeniable urge to kiss her. He leaned in closer, his face inches from hers.
“Bennett I...I will see you tomorrow.” He patted her on the shoulder. What was he doing? Liam was starting to fall in love with Riley. Drake had no business trying to make a move on her, and no reason to think she would want him over Liam.
“Oh..yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow. Goodnight Drake.”
Drake walked quickly back to his room and turned in for the night. As he lay in bed trying to fall asleep, he couldn’t keep his thoughts off of Riley...Her falling into his arms, the little looks and touches they shared throughout the day, and how sexy she looked in her bathing suit. He really tried to think of anything and everything else, but he couldn’t help it. He felt his erection growing. It still seemed wrong to think about Riley this way, but he supposed masturbating to thoughts of her was nowhere near as bad as actually kissing her, or more. He started to move his hand up and down up his shaft and didn’t stop until he found release. He cleaned himself up and fell into a peaceful sleep.
Prt. 1, Prt. 2, Prt. 3 Masterlist Prompt list
Tumblr media
It's been months since you've seen your hometown of Beacon Hills. After your fuck buddy nearly killed your brother, Scott, and then was sent to Hell, you needed to take time away from the supernatural infested town. It wasn't easy. Scott and your mom are your whole world but you couldn't handle all of it. You were losing touch with yourself and turning far too angry with your world. You didn't like who you were becoming. But, when Chris Argent called about the new hunters, you cut your time in the midwest short and went right back to Beacon Hills. You weren't about to let anyone else nearly kill your brother or his friends.
Outside the sheriff's station, cars are surrounding the area and it's the first time you get a good look at exactly what's going on. Scott and his pack were inside and these hunters weren't going to stop at anything to get what they wanted.
"And where do you think you're going?" A tall man with messy grey hair says as he puts a hand on your shoulder to stop you from walking inside.
"I've been watching. You aren't getting anywhere so I'm gonna try."
He looks over his shoulder and laughs with a few of the other male hunters. "Look, princess, why don't you let us hunters take care of it and we'll show you the ropes later?"
You scowl before pulling your bow from around your arm and placing an arrow. You step back and aim at the man, wanting to release the arrow.
"That's cute." He chuckles.
Without a second thought, you turn on your heels and shoot your arrow at one of the wheels of the cars farther out, missing six hunters by centimeters. The tire flattens as you turn around and smirk. "I can handle myself. Now get the fuck out of my way before I send an arrow through your eye."  You retort, pushing past the man whose jaw now hangs. The other hunters watching you in bits of awe and confusion, unsure of exactly who you are and what you're doing there.
You knock on the door and only hear shuffling from inside. "Scott, answer the damn before I put an arrow through your shoulder." The door opens and you're pulled inside before the door slams behind you, getting locked immediately. "What," You punch Scott in the arm. "The." Punch. "Fuck." Punch. "Why didn't you call me when hunters started popping up?"
"How did you even know?" Scott asks, his arms extending with his words.
"I'm an archer? Who the hell do you think told me."
"Argent." Scott sighs.
"Duh." You roll your eyes and slide your bow around your arm again. "So, what's going on?" You follow Scott into the sheriff's office only to lock eyes with the one and only. "What the hell is he doing here?" You yell, staring Theo down who only looks at you annoyed.
"Why is everyone so surprised?" He asks with his words dripped in confusion.
"You tried to kill my brother. You tried to kill basically everyone in this room. Or manipulate them in order to form your own 'power pack'." You state the obvious and Malia and Liam shift their stare to you and then to Scott, as if say they told him so. "You are way too forgiving, Scott McCall."
"I didn't forgive him. He just might be able to help us right now." Scott shrugs his shoulders with his voice steady and calm.
Scott was always the calm one while you had the hot head but that was probably because he was your baby brother and you'd die to protect him against anything and everything. It's why you became a hunter in the first place. He needed another hunter on his side when you saw how beneficial Allison was and Argent when Argent wasn't trying to kill him. It was your way of protecting him without being supernatural yourself.
"So, the hunters want the two werewolves we have in the cell." Scott abandons the topic of Theo Raeken.
"Why?" You move your eyes away from Theo but his eyes just dig into you.
He hasn't seen you since he was sent to Hell. You look different now, ready to kill. He's not peering at you with hatred, it's confusion with touches of guilt and remorse. He never thought he'd see you again and now you're right there, just a few feet from him and you're willing to shoot him with an arrow right where he stands. Your heart doesn't beat the same way it used to when you were around him and that's what bothers him most. Your heart beats with hatred instead of nervousness from butterflies filling your stomach. Hell gave him a lot of time to reflect all of his wrongs.
"They killed a hunter." Scott says slowly, almost ashamed for the werewolves.
"So, hand them over?" You blink slowly, once again, stating the obvious solution.
"They'll kill them, y/n."
"Okay, and they killed one of the hunters. Eyes yellow or blue, Scott?"
Scott's head drops with the word. "Blue."
"Okay, there's your solution. Innocent lives. Hand them over and all of you can walk out of here and then we figure out a plan."
"We can't just hand them over."
"Look, Scott, I don't think we have another choice. They're gonna barge in here soon and they'll take of us with them." Malia sides with you and tries to be a voice of reason.
"Sheriff, we have a problem." One of the deputies comes into the office and interrupts.
Sheriff Stilinski eyes him with suspicion as he walks to the door. "what kind of problem?"
"Uh, a problem you need to come see." The deputy says with widened eyes.
The sheriff sighs as he exits the office. Scott, Malia, and Lydia decide to follow him since the deputy seemed freaked out but whatever was going on in the room down the hall. That meant you were now alone with Liam and Theo.
You walk up and Liam and smack him upside the head. "What was that for?" He gives you a soft growl with narrowed eyes.
"Why didn't you call me?" You stand just a few inches short of him, eyeing him.
"Scott told me not to." He shrugs, rubbing the back of his head.
"So, now you obey Scott's every wish?"
"If it helps, we aren't allowed to call Stiles, either."
"What the hell?" Your eyes widen as you stare at the beta in disbelief. "So, hunters want to kill all of you and no one is thinking 'hey we should probably call everyone for all the back up we could get because this shit is bad' Are you all dumb?" You squeeze the bridge of your nose, already frustrated.
"They're trying to keep people safe." Theo pipes up but you glance to him from the corner of your eyes, trying your best to ignore him.
"Basically." Liam agrees.
"Every time you guys try and keep people safe, one of you almost dies. I'm your alpha's sister, that kind of makes me your aunt so you should listen to me."
"I don't think it works like that." Liam manages a smile.
"Well, it does today."
"Liam, we need your help. Y/n, just watch Theo." Scott says from the doorway. Liam shrugs, looking between you and Theo before exiting with Scott.
"Great, now I'm a babysitter." You groan.
"I'm good, thanks for asking." Theo says, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. Whenever he'd cross his arms, you were able to see just how large his arms really were. He was strong and you hated yourself for still finding him and his muscles attractive but that didn't cloud your hatred for him.
"I didn't ask because I don't care." You take a seat on the desk, staring at him while you pull your bow into your lap.
"What? Think I'm gonna try and kill you?"
"You tried to kill two McCalls, who's to say you won't go for a third? Three's a charm, ya know?"
"We're kind of on the same side now."
You toss your head back with a laugh. "We aren't on the same side."
"Clearly, we are." His eyes widen with his words and you catch a soft glimpse of the blue tint that happens when he's upset about something. While his eyes are usually green, he has a genetic mutation that changes them to a shade of blue when his pupils dilate.
"And how do you figure?" You dangle your legs back and forth.
"Well, I'm on Scott's side since everyone out there wants all of us in here dead. You're on Scott's side. So we're on the same side." He takes a few steps towards you with his defense.
"Listen, use your chimera hearing and listen real close," You stop moving as your jaw clenches. "We are never going to be on the same side. If it were up to me, I'd kill you right now. Once this is over, I'm going right back to the Midwest and hopefully, you'll be set right back to Hell."
"Look, I'm not-" Theo says, now only inches from you.
"Shut up. I don't care." You cut him off, rolling your eyes and looking away. "And if you come closer, I'll punch you." He looks to his left, licking his bottom lip, frustrated with your coldness towards him.
People can only feel one emotion at a time and the only emotion you ever wanted to feel towards Theo was hatred. He used you to get to your brother and then tried to kill him. Being a part of a pack wasn't good enough for him. He needed to be the most powerful with a powerful pack and it truly disgusted you. His need for power ruined everything you could have had, ruined plenty of lives in the process. It didn't matter what he went through in Hell. It doesn't take back everything he did before you left.
Scott comes back a few minutes later, you and Theo pulling your attention to him. "So, two officers killed themselves." Scott winces with the words. "So, we're gonna, hand them over." Scott's words are reluctant.
"Scott, what else is going on?" You inquire.
"I'll tell you later. Right now, we just need you as the middle man so hopefully, this works."
"Right." You nod and hop down from the desk.
Theo, Scott, and Liam get the bodies into body bags while you watch with the sheriff, Lydia, and Malia. While you felt horrible for the families of the dead officers, your eyes kept themselves fixed on Theo, making sure he didn't try and pull anything with everyone standing there. If he so much as moved wrong, you had your hand tightly wrapped around your bow and you'd take the shot without a second thought.
Once the bodies were wrapped up in the bags, you followed the boys outside with the sheriff. They put the bodies down and took steps back, leaving you on the frontline as they watched the hunters carefully.
"There, now can we call this?" Scott says, keeping his calm voice you never did quite understand.
"We want to see them." A woman you didn't recognize says.
Scott and Theo unzip the bags for her to see and she seems oddly pleased. You were a hunter, a proud hunter at that but this woman wasn't. She was crazy. Pleased to look at dead bodies? Something is off in her head and you hated the thought of it almost as much as you hated actually seeing the look on her face.
"We still want the wolves."
"That's not the deal." Scott defends.
"You have a hunter, don't you think it's fair? A life for a life?" She turns her attention towards you and you just look to the ground.
"If Scott is defending them, there's probably a reason." You shrug, looking back to her.
"You didn't answer the question." Her voice is almost taunting, making you question if you would be able to get a punch in before this was over.
"Not always." You sigh, pursing your lips.
"How many wolves have you killed for killing one of your own? You're one of us aren't you?" She questions as if to be questioning your integrity to being a hunter.
You look back to Scott, who's standing behind you before looking back to the woman. "Three." You answer cooly. "But, I'm not one of you." You shake your head quickly, holding it up with pride. "I don't kill the innocent. I protect. That's what it's like to be a hunter. But, the person who trained me, clearly didn't train you. We're supposed to protect those who can not protect themselves."
"What?" Her voice raises and you know you've struck a nerve. "You think these monsters can't protect themselves? You're no hunter!"
A satisfied smile crosses your face as the two of you step closer to each other. "No, I'm not your definition of a hunter. Look around, we're outnumbered." You gesture your arms to all of the surrounding hunters, all of which have guns while you and the sheriff are the only two armed. "These people you call monsters, need protecting. From you. There's a difference between hunting werewolves that attack innocent people and killing werewolves who are trying to protect humans from the dangers of other supernatural creatures. You're blinded by some type of rage and it's going to get you killed, and not by a werewolf." Your mouth falls into a straight line with the threat. "You wanted bodies. You got them. Go."
She scowls at you as her fists clench beside her thighs. She was furious with your words and you couldn't care less. "Not. Without. The. Wolves."
"Guess, we're at a stalemate because you're not getting them."
"We will kill you, too."
You smirk and shrug. "You'll have to get a shot in first. You're not gonna do it here, not now. If you were going to, you'd had already started firing. Why don't you go, now?"
"Maybe I can help." You look past the woman as you heard the familiar voice.
"Dad?" You and Scott say simultaneously as you lock eyes with him.
"Hey, kids." He looks between you and Scott with a sense of disappointment. "We're going to go inside and I'll see if we can come to an agreement, okay?" He comes up to you and looks at the woman.
"Five minutes." She says, readjusting her stature before turning on her heels.
"Inside." He says, gripping your shoulder as you turn around. "Can you not threaten people who have guns pointed at you?" He whispers in your ear and you just chuckle a little.
"They didn't shoot so I was right." You look up to him as he glares at you, unamused by your words.
As you walk inside, Theo follows right on your heels and you can feel the heat radiating off of him. Once inside, you stand on opposite sides of the room but your eyes watch him as he clenches and unclenches his hands, as if to get the blood flowing again. You watch him carefully noticing bits of blood when he opens his hands before he closes them again and you realize he'd clawed himself. While you were with Theo before he turned out to be evil, he never lost control, not once other than with his eyes but that only happened when things got too heated with the both of you. Clawing the inside of his hands was something you only expected from Liam at this point, not Theo.
"Y/n?" Scott asks, pulling you from thoughts and your stare.
"Sorry," You shake your head and move your eyes to him. "What?"
"Dad thinks we should let them go, just in the van."
"It's a fed vehicle so they should be safe, right? You just put them into custody?" You ask, moving your eyes to your dad.
"Exactly."
"Yeah," You nod, looking back to Scott. "Scott, if you want any of us to ever get out of here without a bloodbath, that's the only way."
"Alright." Scott nods and gestures towards the back where the wolves were in a cell.
While Scott, your dad, and the sheriff go back to the holding cell. You rest your bow and arrows on a desk behind you and move towards Theo and yank the sleeve of his jacket, making him follow you into one of the offices.
"Uh, okay?" He says with a slight smirk as you shut the door.
"Stop." You grit your teeth.
"Stop what?" He quirks a brow.
"Your hands." You glance to his hands that were now in his pockets.
"How do you know?" His brows furrow together which just makes you roll your eyes.
"I saw the blood. Knock it off. You don't lose control over anything and now someone is threatening me and you get all pissed off? Knock it off."
"Most people would be flattered." Theo remarks. You nod and purse your lips, almost looking understanding, until your fist collides with his face. You catch him off guard and he falls to the floor.
Tumblr media
"It's not fucking flattering. You couldn't care before and now you do. It's not flattering and I can take care of myself." You stand over him, spitting the words at him.
"I did care before." Theo says, wiping the small bit of blood that had dripped from his nose.
"You have a funny way of showing it, Raeken."
"I'm trying now." He slowly gets up, your eyes not leaving him.
"Now is a little too late." You shake your head with your voice handing low.
Theo's head drops slightly with your words, the impact hitting him. He wanted to make up for what he did and he thought about calling you after the Ghost Riders but he could never bring himself to do it. The guilt eats at him and he thought you were just better off without an apology. Better off just not hearing from him. Now that you're in front of him, however, he thinks differently. He wants to have another chance, show you how much he's changed but your words hit hard.
Without another word, you open the door and make your way back to the front of the station with Liam, Lydia, and Malia. You lean against the desk with your bow and arrows, arms crossed over your chest as Theo takes his stance against the wall once more.
"So, welcome back." Malia remarks as she looks to you.
"Oh yeah, welcome back everyone is trying to kill your brother...again." The sarcasm rolls off your tongue.
"It is good to have you back though." Lydia smiles and you smile back, always fond of her.
"Thanks." You nod.
"Y/n, stay here and let us talk." Your dad says as he walks back into the main hallway with the two teenage werewolves, Scott, and the sheriff.
"Yep." You nod, giving him a thumbs up. "So," You start as the five of them exit the building. "What's going on? How are there so many hunters all of a sudden and why did those officers kill themselves?"
"It's called the Anuke-Ite." Theo says.
You roll your eyes but don't bother telling him to keep his mouth shut. "Now, I just think you people are making up words. Okay, what's it do?"
"Provokes fear." Liam adds in. "It's making everyone afraid of everything, especially us apparently."
"Great." You scoff. "Well, are we trying to rid the hunters or the Anuke-Ite? Seems like if we rid the Anuke-Ite first, a lot of hunters will fall back, assuming they're only in it because of the fear that's being provoked."
"Yeah, the problem is that we don't know who it is." Theo continues.
"Who?" You repeat with a cocked brow.
"It takes the shape of a human." Malia adds in.
"Two. It has to find its other half and if it does, it's not good." Lydia shakes her head.
"Okay." You look at everyone around you. "So, how are we gonna defeat the hunters then?" Your voice picks up, not wanting to even think about how taking that thing down would take place.
"We don't have a plan, yet." Lydia says.
"Are you kidding? Argent said you guys needed help but damn. I thought you would have something."
"We're trying but there's a lot going on." Malia says.
"And no one thought 'hey this is getting pretty out of hand, maybe we should call Stiles since he always has a plan'?"
"Well, now you're here." Malia says nonchalantly.
"You have good plans." Liam sends you a smile.
"I helped Scott duct tape you in our bathtub." You remind him as you tilt your head to the right.
"Oh yeah." Liam seems to suddenly remember the sequence of events. "Never mind."
"Yeah." You nod, scrunching your face at him.
"Okay, we're good to go." Scott says as he walks back inside with the sheriff and your dad.
"You kids better get out of here while you can and come up with a plan." Sheriff Stilinski's eyes glance over all of you.
"Y/n, Scott. I'll take you back to your mom's."
"I've got a car." You push against the desk to stand up. "I can run Liam home on the way." You offer.
"Malia, Lydia? Either of you need a ride?" The sheriff asks the two girls.
"I've got my car." Lydia says. "Malia is staying with me."
"And you?" Your dad looks at Theo.
Theo glances to you before looking to ground and shaking his head. "It's fine. I got it." He stares at your dad with a shoulder shrug.
Your dad eyes him with suspicion but doesn't push. All of you pile into different vehicles and go your separate ways. You follow your dad until you reach the turn for Liam's house. Liam caught you up on most everything with the hunters and the Anuke-Ite, how it all started and everything that's been done since. It helped fill in a lot of the holes for you. You adored Liam as if you really were his aunt and despite the horror that was lurking around the corners ready to kill, it was nice to be a car with him again as if it were old times.
After dropping Liam off, you head back your mom's house. It was bittersweet being back. You missed the house, as odd as that sounds. You grew up in it and it holds all so many memories, good and bad but mostly good. The house was almost a small part of you that you had to leave behind when you went east.
You walk inside through the kitchen door where your mom is standing with her arms crossed, wearing scrubs and a long shaw while Scott and your dad are standing opposite her.
"Y/n." Your mom's eyes fall on you as you close the door.
"Hey, mom." You smile wide and walk up to her. She embraces you in a big hug, something you've missed dearly in the months you've been gone.
"Are you okay?" She asks, cupping your face.
"Mom, I'm fine." You laugh.
"Good. Now, don't go trying to get yourself killed!" Your mom switches her tone in seconds and you already know Scott and your dad told her about your small altercation with the hunter.
"It worked! It stalled her until dad got there." You defend, sliding your arrows off your back.
"You didn't even know I was coming." Your dad looks to you with furrowed brows.
"Minor detail."
"Please, don't do that. Ever again."
"Okay, mom." You nod with a smile, a little happy to be back where she can lecture you properly.
The rest of the night was spent catching up with your parents and brother. Your dad managed to possibly convince Scott and his pack to leave Beacon Hills until everything works out but you know your brother all too well. He had something else planned and you just had to wait until the two of you were alone to find out what it is. The rest of the conversation was light-hearted and warm. It almost made you wish you'd never left in the first. Just almost.
Just as you were getting ready to go to bed in your old your room your mom hadn't bothered to touch since you cleaned it before leaving, Scott was knocking on your doorframe.
"What's up?" You ask, jerking your head for him to come in.
"You know we're not leaving." Scott smiles, shaking his head.
"I know, give me the plan, twerp." You sit down and pat the bed beside you.
"You go with Liam and Theo." He says as he takes a seat, pulling out his phone.
"Why?" You cross your arms, sighing with touches of annoyance.
"Theo was about to kill Monroe when she threatened you."
"Is this really one of your 'little brother trying to be the big brother' things again?" You groan as you roll your eyes.
"Malia and me will be in the armory while Lydia and Argent will be in the control room. We can protect each other. Liam and Theo..."
"Are Liam and Theo." You finish his sentence. "I don't get why you're trusting Theo...again anyway." You say quietly.
"We don't have a choice right now. You don't know this but he helped when the Ghost Riders were around." Scott admits. "These hunters are killing without asking any questions and Liam and Theo both will look out for you while you'll look out for them. I know you hate Theo, but I know you won't kill him or just let him die."
"How do you know?" You narrow your eyes at him.
"You were trained with Allison, by her dad. You aren't gonna let him just die."
"Damn morals." You mumble receiving a chuckle from Scott. "Alright, fine. I'll go with Liam and Theo." You agree with less reluctance. Scott leans into you and gives you a side hug before letting you get to sleep.
Title: Finding Home ch.1
Author: @blaineandsamevanderson
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Ship: Liam/Theo
Rating: PG
Summary: After the Battle of Beacon Hills, life goes on.
Notes: Thiam Secret Santa fic for @evinnschottmacher
********
“Guys, we might have a problem.”
The members of the McCall pack (well, most of them) looked up at mason’s ominous statement.  After the Battle of Beacon Hills, those who had returned opted to stay for a while and more wandering friends had trickled back.  It was reassuring after all the upheaval, having so many allies around was reassuring.  Strength in numbers and all.
Still, none of them wanted to face another big bad anytime soon.
“What is it?” Scott asked, putting down his textbook and highlighter.  The rest of the pack continued to watch mason, who took a breath.
“Look, I know Theo’s been less murdery since Liam brought him back, but…,” he hesitated a moment, “I was at Home Depot with my dad and saw Theo there.  He had a bunch of stuff in his cart, like a shovel, tarps, hammers….So you can see my concern….”
Around the room, people groaned.  Others sighed or rolled their eyes.  Stiles pursed his lips and gave Scott a look.  “I told you, we need to put a tracker on that little bastard.  Like, one of those ones ARGUS used in Suicide Squad.”
“We aren’t putting a bomb in his head,” Scott said patiently.  “We don’t know that he’s done anything wrong.  This time.”
Malia shrugged.  “I’m gonna agree with Stiles on this one.”
“It does seem like a safety net,” Isaac added with a nod.
“I hate to agree with Id and Impulse over there, but...he does have a history,” Mason said.  “Does anyone actually know what he does when he’s not with us?”
Everyone was shocked when Derek spoke up.  “He got a job and I let him stay on some land near the preserve.”  He stared back at the pack.  “What?  He’s living in his truck.  Being in the woods makes it feel more like camping than homelessness and he can get a tent or something.”
“So...where is this land where he’s probably burying bodies?” Stiles asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.
****
“Well, this is so much better than you were all assuming,” Liam said, standing beside Mason’s car.  Everyone had piled into vehicles and followed Derek’s shiny black camera out into the woods, stopping at a small clearing.
Theo’s truck was there, but so was a small house.  There were clear signs of ongoing construction and, as they stood there, the Chimera emerged from the house, a frown on his face.
He was wearing jeans, a tool belt and boots, shirtless torso dusted with sawdust.  Liam swallowed, feeling his heart thump a little harder and Malia tossed him a look.
“Hey,” Theo called, hopping off of the small porch.  “What are you all doing out here?”
Clearly feeling a little silly about the assumptions that had been made, no one spoke...until Jackson drawled, “So you aren’t planning a whole bunch of murders, right?”
That earned him a slow blink.  “Not presently,” Theo replied.  “Why?”
No one really wanted to say why, so Liam blurted, “Did you build this?”
“Yeah,” Theo told them with a nod.  “I mean, the guys from work helped me with the plumbing and electrical, but I did most of it.”
“Cool,” Liam replied honestly and Theo grinned brightly at him.
****
After that, it was not uncommon for pack members to be found ‘helping out’ at Theo’s.  Derek, Braeden and Isaac were actually quite handy and Danny worked some quasi-legal magic on the Chimera’s mobile hotspot so that the wo-fi was awesome, but the rest of the pack just tended to hang around, offering commentary and watching the work going on.
Liam tried to help, he really did, but after the fourth bashed finger, Lydia had ushered him over tot he picnic blanket she, Jackson, Ethan and Danny were lounging on.  They’d even brought snacks today.
“I’m fine,” he protested, casting a look over his shoulder to where Theo was bent over, sawing a plank of wood to a particular length.
Jackson snorted.  “Sure...but if you’re going to be distracted by someone’s dimples of Venus, maybe just help with the painting.  Werewolf healing or not, broken fingers suck.”
Having no idea what to say to that, Liam simply gaped, causing Lydia to pat his arm.  “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he finally sputtered, feeling his face heat up.
Danny reached over and thumped his back in a supportive manner.  “Oh, you do...The boy has a nice back.  Nice everything really, even if he isn’t my type.”
That made Lydia laugh and gesture broadly at Ethan.  “Really?  Tell us again how hot, hot bad boy twunk who has tried to kill us at one point is not your type?”
“She’s got you there,” Jackson laughed as Ethan shrugged and Danny flipped them off playfully.
“Well, she used to be your type Jackson,” Danny replied, a little smug.
“Yeah, but Lydia’s amazing and I was so closeted I may as well have been a hanger,” Jackson pointed out.  “What’s your type now then?”
A smile crooked the corner of Danny’s mouth.  “Tall, blond and dry witted,” he admitted, nodding over to where Isaac was leaping off of the roof, having finished with the shingles.
“Honestly, not surprising,” Lydia drawled after a moment, slipping her sunglasses on and sipping her drink. “That boy never knew whether he wanted to toss puppy eyes at Scott or Allison.  Good to know he learned both was an option.”
“Just not at once,” Danny, Ethan and Jackson chorused.
Lydia shrugged.  “Who knows, I don’t think he ever asked.  Pretty sure Allison would have been on board.”
After that observation, everyone was quiet for a moment before agreeing that Lydia was probably right.
She usually was about such things.
“Hey,” Ethan said brightly, turning to Danny.  “Since you’ve got some pull, maybe you can talk to Isaac about not plotting my death.  I’m pretty sure he and Malia are making plans on how to off me.”
“Babe, if he hates one of us, it’s me,” Jackson tried to assure Ethan.
Looking up from where he had begun to dig a hole, Isaac said, “I don’t like either of you.  But you’re not the only ones we have contingency plans for.”
Then he went back to his hole.
“Charming,” Jackson muttered.
“I kinda deserved that,” Ethan admitted, but Liam tuned them out for a moment.
Theo had emerged from whatever he had been doing inside the house (there had been hammering involved) and dumped a bucket of river water over his head.
Every day, Liam was getting more and more sure that he wasn’t quite as straight as he had once assumed...at least not where a certain ridiculously gorgeous Chimera was concerned.
Shaking himself, he asked, “Do I want to know what a twunk is?”
Danny laughed.  “Probably not.”
****
Less than 2 weeks later, Liam sat cross legged on Theo’s porch, a tin cup of cocoa in hand.  It was just the two of them...as had become common.  For some reason, Liam kept finding himself dropping by to visit Theo in the evenings.
The other boy didn’t seem opposed to the company.  He’d even started leaving the door unlocked for Liam.
Of course, that did mean that Liam risked walking in on a warm, damp, fresh from the shower Theo.  Who was not modest.  Nope.  Not at all.
Not that he had a reason to be.
“I haven’t really had a home since I was like 11,” Theo said out of the blue, staring into his own cocoa.  “After we left Beacon Hills...I don’t know what happened to my parents, not really.  They were just gone and there was that couple the Dread Doctors had pretending to be them to keep up appearances.  But that wasn’t home, this is.”
The admission surprised Liam.  Theo didn’t really talk about what had happened with his family or The Dread Doctors.  Gently, Liam asked, “So...you lived with those people?”
Theo shrugged.  “Not really.  Spent most of my time with the Doctors.  I was even home schooled.  Test results got mailed in, so I didn’t have to live anywhere particular.  Just needed a mailing address for appearances.”
Oh well, that probably explained a lot….
“You need to finish school!”
“Yeah, that’s not happening.”
*****
“How did this happen?”
Theo honestly had no intention of going back to school.  He figured he could get his GED easy enough at some point, but finishing senior year was a big old no.
Of course, that had been before the pack meeting the day after his chat with Liam.  Even the adults (The Sheriff, Mrs. McCall, Chris Argent, Peter, Parrish, Derek and Braeden) had been there.  Everyone wanted to push him about school, how important it was.
Except Stiles, who pointed out that further educating a potential threat could come back to bite them in the ass.
His protests were part of the reason Theo had agreed to re-enroll.  Liam’s big, worried eyes summed up the rest of his motivation.
Fortunately, after all the chaos as of late, the school wasn’t asking many questions and didn’t put up a fuss when Theo went to register as a mid year transfer to finish his high school career.
Entering the school with Liam, Mason and Corey, he raised a brow as eyes turned towards them and conversations dropped away.  He could smell the nervousness and rolled his eyes.  “Really? Still?  Are they like this all the time?”
Liam huffed a sigh.  “Yeah, most mornings and when the jerk patrol is around.  It gets better.”
“They smell like guilt and shame,” Theo frowned.  “It’s acrid.”
“Hey!”
Nolan popped out of the cross corridor and Theo whipped around to glare at the other boy.  He could hear the way Liam’s heart stuttered, a rapid patter of fear that the smaller wolf quickly reigned in.  He knew Liam had forgiven Nolan for what he had done, but clearly there were some lingering effects.
“Nolan,” Liam said, voice not betraying his internal struggle.  “What’s up?”
Theo shifted, letting his bicep press against the back of Liam’s arm, reassuring the other that he was there.
“You guys have been disappearing so fast after school, I never get to catch up with you,” Nolan babbled, not picking up on the ‘GO AWAY’ vibes Theo was trying to project.
“We’ve been kinda busy, Nolan,” Mason said and Theo could hear the faint hint of distaste beneath his words.  “You know, helping get everything settled after a good chunk of the town went a little evil and decided it would be awesome to murder a bunch of teenagers.’
That made Nolan wince.
Good for Mason.
“How’ve you been,” Liam asked, once again proving that he took after his Alpha.  Theo wasn’t so forgiving, which was why he understoood Stiles’s continued dislike of him.
“Who’s the jerk patrol?” Theo asked as they walked down the hall.  Clearly, he had some shit to handle.
******
He was right.  There were a few of Monroe’s pet psychos in training still lingering around, too dumb to realize they’d lost and generally making everyone nervous.  Most of their douchebaggery was confined to commentary and threats when there were no teachers around, but it was enough to create an unpleasant atmosphere.
The three main instigators were on the lacrosse team and after seeing a practice where they intentionally hit Liam with the ball repeatedly, Theo had enough.
Like most bullies lacking protectors in positions of power, they were cowards deep down.  The day after their little display on the lacrosse field, Theo cornered the morons in the locker room.  He didn’t want them filming anything after all and no one liked to be confronted naked...well, no one who couldn’t shift into a wolf.
“You’re going to stop all this wannabe hard hunter bullshit, right now,” he told them, speaking slowly so that even the dumbest of them could understand.  He flashed them a charming smile with a little too much tooth.  “ Cuz, unlike my friends, I’m not a nice guy.  I’m trying to be, but you’re making it really hard.  I don’t particularly want to dismember you, it’s a messy process, but I can, I will and I know where to get enough acid to dissolve your remains.  We clear?
He said all that in a bright, cheerful voice, but the lingering steam in the air carried the tang of fear.
The biggest of the assholes tried to puff himself up, thinking the 5” of height he had on Theo was any kind of advantage.  “I’m not scared of you, freak!”
Theo blinked at him.  “You should be,” Hesiod simply.  “I mean, decent people don’t have to worry, but I’m not a big fan of mouth breathing ass….”
That was when the idiot tried to punch him.  Theo neatly avoided the blow, letting the jerk break his hand on the tile wall.  Asshole’s screech mingled with Coach Finstock’s shout.
“PETERSEN!  What the hell are you doing?  Do you not understand the concept of Zero Tolerance?  You’re off the team!  Put on some damn pants and get your ass to the principal’s office!”
“He attacked me!” The kid whined, but it was for naught.
Fin stock looked at Theo, standing there, trying to look as innocent as he could.  “I might believe that if I hadn’t seen you throw the punch,” Finstock said.  “PANTS!  Principal!  NOW!”
Petersen shuffled off, followed by his friends, who gave Theo a wide berth.  Finstock continued to eye Theo.  “Lose the ‘Who me?’expression.  I never bought it from Stilinski, I don’t buy it from you.  Good reflexes.”
Theo gave a little nod.  “Comes with the territory.”
“Oh...another werewolf,” Finstock said, then jabbed a finger at him.  “You play lacrosse?”
TBC…...
Jealous Part 1
Liam x Reader, Theo x Reader
Requested: No
Summary: In which Liam Dunbar and Y/n McCall hate each other so much, that they fall in love with one another, well, with the help of Theo Raeken.
Warning: Swearing, love triangles, death
Notes: This story will be in plenty of parts, like about maximum 20 parts ish
“Why do you have to be such a b*tch sometimes?”
“Me? You know what? We’re over. I don’t need someone like you to be in my life.” He said before walking out. He was your very first boyfriend. A few tears slid down your face but you quickly wiped them away before walking back into the hallway. You ignored the stares everyone gave you and continued walking towards the exit. Until Liam stepped in front of you.
“Oh look, it’s you. What’s wrong? Did someone make you cry?”
“F*ck off Dunbar.”
“I’m guessing you’ll be running back to your boyfriend like the crybaby you are.” A tear slid down your cheek. You ignored his insult and ran out of the school. Liam didn’t stop you for once.
Liam watched you as you ran out of school. His heart felt weird watching you cry. His brain felt weird because you didn't insult him back. Ever since the two of you met, you've been insulting and teasing each other. You couldn't exactly call it hate, it was more like being frenemies. Unfortunately, Scott hated the fact that his beta and his sister dislike each other, so he constantly puts them together when there were any pack activities.
You ran out of the school, into the woods. You hear a rustle from behind you and you turn around to check. A coyote jumps out and transform into a human male.
“What the hell? Theo, what do you want?” Theo chuckles.
“I’m not gonna kill you. Gosh, has Stiles gotten in your head?”
“Um well you seem like the guy who would come out of no where, kidnap me and then do things to me.” Theo chuckles again.
“No I’m not, stop assuming things Y/n. I’m only back at Beacon Hills because I want to be apart of the pack. What are you doing here?” He says.
“Walking.”
“Aren’t you suppose to be in school?”
“Aren’t you?’
“Gosh, just tell me what’s wrong. It isn’t like you to be walking around alone like that. Aren’t you afraid Scott’s gonna be mad at you? There’s something wrong. I can smell it. You’re sad.”
“Theo thinks he knows me so well. Why should I trust you?”
“Because we were best friends before I left. You grew up gorgeous and I want a friend.” You laugh.
“Haha, you have no friends.” Theo glares at you. “Okay fine. Me and my very first boyfriend broke up.” Theo’s face softens.
“Are you okay?” You faintly smile and nod. Unfortunately, Theo can tell that you were lying because he could smell all the sadness coming from you. And he does something he never really does to anyone.
He hugs you.
After that hug, he walked with you around the woods a little more, talking about when you were younger. The two of you reached his truck. Theo offered to drive you home and you accepted it. When you made it home, you were greeted by an angry Scott.
"Where have you been? Liam said you skipped school!" You glance at Liam. He was smirking.
“God, Scotty, do you think I skipped school to party? My boyfriend just broke up with me so I needed some time alone.” Scott’s face softened a bit. From the corner of your eye, you see Liam frown for a slight second before smirking again.
“That son of a b*tch better run away because he messed with the wrong person.” Scott says, eyes glowing red.
“Relax bro. I’m better now, Theo cheered me up.” Scott, Liam and Stiles’ faces dropped. It was silent for a few minutes before someone spoke up.
“THEO RAEKEN WAS NICE TO YOU!!!??? HAHA THATS A FIRST. WHAT IS HE PLANNING?” Stiles yells.
“Ow, Stiles, you don’t have to-”
“You all know I can hear you, right?” Theo asks from behind me.
“Did we ask you to talk?” Stiles shoots him a glare. Theo shrugs.
“Since I don’t feel welcomed here, I’m going to go. Night princess, see you tomorrow.” Theo kissed you on the cheek before leaving. You wave goodbye to him. When you look back, Stiles’ jaw has dropped.
“Stiles, sweetie, close your mouth, you don’t wanna eat flies.” You say smirking. He closes his mouth
“Hey don’t insult and tease me, go do that to Liam.” You all look at Liam, who has his jaw clenched. Scott’s face scrunches up.
“Holy sh*t, Liam. Why do you smell full of jealousy?”
“W-what no. I’m not. It’s not jealousy. I have n-no idea what you're talking about.” Liam says before storming off, bumping into you forcefully.
“Ow.” You mumble out. Scott then kicks Stiles out and the two of us head to do what we need to do before heading to sleep.
“So princess, what are you doing in this hallway at this time?” Theo asks, strolling towards you.
“Oh hey T. I was just studying, I finished everything in class so I asked the teacher if I could study outside for my next class.” Theo sits next to you.
“Wait what are you doing here? Skipping class as usual?” he chuckles.
“Y/n, you gotta stop thinking of me as a bad kid. I asked to go to the washroom.”
“Then what are you doing here? Isn’t your class like on the other side of school?”
“Shhh.” Theo puts his finger on your lips. You smile before turning back to your work.
“What class do you have next that requires so much gibberish?” You look up from your notes and frown.
“This is chemistry.”
“Who do you have it with?”
“Liam.”
“Just him?” You nod and take out your water bottle.
“Wow, you have chemistry with Liam.” You nearly choke.
“W-what?” He laughs at your reaction.
“Babe, i’m only talking about the class.” He shifts his gaze to down the hall.
“Speaking of chemistry, there’s your friend.” He points the thing he was looking at. You turn to see Liam.
“Liam, what are you doing here? Are you skipping class?”
“I finished the history work so I went out to see if you wanted to study together.”
“Yea sure.” You say.
“Wait you guys have history AND chemistry together? Damn, must have a complicated relationship.” You punch him lightly on the shoulder.
“Shut up.” Your turn your attention back to Liam.
“Baby, can I hug you?” Theo whispers. Before you could answer, strong arms wrapped around your waist.
A strong stench of jealousy was smelled by Theo. He knew someone was jealous. And that someone was Liam Dunbar. Boy, did Theo have a game to play.
Liam growls at your position, eyes turning amber. You take a quick look at him and widen your eyes at the sight of amber eyes. You push Theo off you.
“Liam.” You say. You get up grabbing his wrist and headed towards the exit.
“You gotta control yourself, Li. You can’t let people see that you’re a werewolf.” Liam looked up with his amber eyes at you and the amber color faded.
“Come on Li, control yourself. You won’t have me to stop you everyday.” You say, smirking. Liam slightly blushed at the nickname you called him.
“Well, I don’t need you to stop me anymore.” He counters.
“Fine whatever, let’s get back to school Li.” You grab his wrist again, dragging him inside school, to the same spot you were at a few moments ago.
“Why are you calling me that?” Liam asks as you pulled him. You abruptly stop to think about his question causing him to hit your back, making you tumble.
“Oh shit.” Liam mumbles, grabbing your arm and pulling you towards him to keep you from tumbling on the ground. You fall into his chest, breathing in his cologne. You blush a deep red.
“Thanks.” You mumble out.
“Are you gonna answer?” You open your mouth to say something but the bell rings and people were pouring out into the hallway. Theo appears out of nowhere, holding both of your stuff.
“Here guys. Go have fun in chemistry.” Theo smirks and pushes you into the crowd. It seemed as if there were more people that before and you grabbed hold of Liam’s hand, afraid of getting run over by people. He looks at your intertwined hands for a second before continuing. Suddenly the crowd makes a way for the two of you. Liam tries to let go, but you hold on tightly. The people around you stared at your intertwined hands and mumbled things like ‘since when were they together’, ‘I thought they hated each other’ and ‘she’s way out of his league.’  You tighten your hold on Liam and he tenses up, sensing something wrong.
“Just in case you don’t know this, but she’s Scott McCall's sister, so you mess with her, you mess with him.” Liam shouts to the people. Knowing that, everyone looks away. They knew who Scott was.
The two of you make it to class to realize that everybody is standing up.
“Mason, what’s going on?’ Liam whispers to Mason, unaware that he was still holding your hand.
“New seating plan.” He whispers back. The teacher walks in.
“Okay class, before we do the test, we will be having a new seating plan. Your names are on your desk so once you find your name, you will be sitting there for a while. The person sitting beside you will be you new science partner. Your test is already on the desk but I will give you five minutes for you to introduce yourself to your new partner.” The teacher gestures everyone to move. Liam finally lets go of your hand. Your hand suddenly feels cold without his but you shake it off. You head off to find your seat and became disappointed when you found your seat and it wasn’t Liam sitting next to it.
Scott had convinced your mom to get Liam and you to work together in everything, even though you insulted and teased each other. You guys were very different but when it came to group projects, you two worked very well together. (a/n #why by Sabrina carpenter) However, it didn’t seem like that to the chemistry teacher.
Sadly, you sat down as Corey sat beside you.
“Hey y/n. I guess I’m your partner.” He smiles. You smile back. He looks down to his desk.
“You wanted to be with Mason, didn’t you?” You whispered. He looked at you
“Yeah, did you want to be with Liam?” He asks, while looking at Mason. You take a look at where Liam is sitting.
Beside Hayden Romero. Great.
“I guess.” You shrug before turning your attention on the test.
After you finished the test, you still had 30 minutes of class. You literally had nothing to do. Both Liam and Hayden were finished as well and they were whispering. Hayden puts her hand on his thigh and you tense at the sight. Liam looks at you and smirks. You quickly look away before he does something else to anger you. But you can’t help but feel jealous.
Meanwhile, Liam was feeling sad about not being able to sit with you, but talking to Hayden made him feel a bit better, even though she made fun of him. Hayden’s hand was on his thigh for some reason unknown. The sudden smell of jealousy filled the room and Liam looked for the source. You. And he smirks.
School days kept repeating the same way over and over again. You continued to tease Liam, vise versa, While Theo continued to flirt with you to make someone jealous. Through all that repetition, you three still have not realized your feelings for each other.
Theo was slowly falling in love with you
You were slowly falling in love with Liam
Liam was slowly falling in love with you.
Nobody knew Theo worked for the Dread Doctors and how he was setting everything up to kill Scott. Part of his plan did not include falling in love with you again. So he kept it a secret. But the Dread Doctors knew. And they did something to you.
“Y/n McCall.” One of the doctors say as they walked to where you were tied up. You were kidnapped by them when you took a walk around the block. You groan as you awaken. A device is attached to your arm with a thick tube running into your skin.
“Y/n McCall, terminated.” They say repeatedly. You were too tired to scream and shout. Moments later, one of the doctors walked towards you, holding a needle. Just as they were about to inject you, Theo walks in and widens his eyes at the sight.
“What are you doing??” He runs to try to save you but is easily pushed back. The Dread Doctors injected the needle into your neck.
“Y/N!”
That was the last thing you heard before your heart stopped beating
When your heart stopped beating, the doctors untied you and you fell to the floor. Theo ran up to you and held you in his arms.
“What did you do to her?!??” He screams at them. Tears fall down his face.
“She was a distraction.” They say before walking away.
Holding you in his arms, Theo realizes his feelings. He has fallen in love with you. And he didn’t have the chance to say it. He loves you.
”God, Y/n, I f*cking love you.” Theo mumbles out at your dead body and kisses you on the forehead one last time before getting ready for tomorrow, the big day.
You were dead, but nobody knows about it
Josh from teen wolf?? really?? why??
This is one of those things where the only real answer is Why Not, you know? Same as my obsessive love for Scanny, lol - with side characters like Danny and Josh, they’re more blank slates where you fill in most of the gaps canon left us with around the bare bones of what we do know….you kinda just have to pick an angle or direction to start from and then just run with it, see what you end up with. It’s not like this is a concept fandom is unfamiliar with. As lots of other people have pointed out over the years, Stiles has dozens of fics devoted to shipping him with people he’s never actually even shared a scene with in canon.
With Josh, one of the first things that jumped out at me about him was when they were trying to identify him after his first appearance in 5A, nobody else seemed to know who he was, but Scott did, he said ‘I know him, that’s Josh Diaz.’ One of my biggest things over the seasons is I’ve always wanted to see stuff about how Scott interacts with people outside his core group, how he’s seen by other people at school, who else he might have history with, and so that was an immediate in for making headcanons for what kind of history Scott might have with this new kid. Yeah, Scott was a loner before the bite, Stiles was his only real friend, that’s the narrative - except that’s more what we were TOLD rather than what we were SHOWN, and it never quite fit.
He obviously wasn’t in with the cool kids pre-pilot, but Danny was at least familiar with him, that girl Harley was hanging out with him and Stiles in the pilot, and Scott’s friendly and easy to get along with and not actually ever shown as shy. He didn’t have a problem introducing himself to Allison right away, like…he knew something was up with his hearing and he overheard her needing a pen, but its not like he was completely clueless on how to form a connection with someone new, you know? So it just never made sense to me that Scott has no significant interactions or history with anyone else other than Stiles, pre-pilot. And with Josh obviously being a loner himself, like all Theo’s pack were, I could easily see he and Scott having at least been aware of each other before the show in the way that a lot of kids in high school who are on the outskirts of things for whatever reason know who each other are, even if they don’t seek each other out to form their own cliques.
Plus, on top of that I just wanted to see more interaction between Scott and Theo’s pack in general, whether it was with Josh or even followed up on with Corey and Hayden in 6A. Scott is the only character on the show who really gets what they went through, and they’re the only characters who could ever fully understand his own experiences (with the exception of Lydia, but the show missed the boat on those parallels years ago). Every other supernatural creature was either born one - even if they discovered it later in life like Kira, or they sought out the bite. Liam’s the exception there, but even though he didn’t have a choice in the matter, that he was an unwilling werewolf like Scott was, he was only bitten due to Scott’s attempt to save him. Liam’s alpha never actually wanted anything from him, never tried to turn him into a monster, so while his journey has some similarities to Scott’s, they aren’t true parallels.
But Tracy, Josh, Corey and Hayden were each targeted and exploited exactly the same as Peter did with Scott. Their lives were deliberately fucked with by the villains who saw them as nothing more than tools to be used, no matter how much trauma was inflicted in the process. They were each told they had no choice in any of this, that it was do what they were told or die (again). They were all mistrusted and shunned at times by people who insisted they were the good guys, and these innocent teenagers were the bad guys, dangerous, monstrous, much like Scott’s experiences with the hunters in S1 and his struggle to see himself and other werewolves as something other than the monsters people kept telling him they were. (And don’t forget that Josh was ultimately killed after refusing to do what Theo told him to, when he said screw you, I’m not putting on that mask, I don’t want anything to do with this crap, I just want to go. Which is pretty much exactly the answer Scott gave to Peter, Chris, Derek and everyone else who tried to push him in a certain direction in S1).
And that’s common ground that you could do so much with in fic - people have done a lot more with far less. And yeah, it could be with any of the four, but the show set it up so that Corey had Mason to turn to as a possible connection, Hayden had Liam, Tracy had Malia and Lydia. Josh was such a throwaway character (sigh) that the only possible connection they ever bothered to make for him was that Scott at least, knew who he was before all this. So pretty much any exploration of Josh’s character was always going to be through Scott, and there’s plenty to explore through those shared experiences of both knowing what it’s like to be so callously used by people who don’t give a fuck about you or what you want. Hell, they both know what it’s like to be murdered by the same person (Theo). Scott/Josh teaming up out of a mutual hatred of their murderer? Yes plz!
So yeah. Basically I put Josh in the same category I do Boyd, Danny and the other characters I consider chock full of missed opportunities. And its not really a coincidence that my biggest noncanon ships for Scott include all these characters that are more headcanon than actual personalities on the show….that’s because with the way the show constantly screws Scott over and refuses to acknowledge all the times EVERYONE including his closest allies does things at his expense…the characters with the least screentime (like Josh, Boyd, Danny) are pretty much the only ones who don’t have canon scenes with Scott that make me grind my teeth. And thus there’s nothing from canon I have to ignore or make my peace with before being comfortable shipping them with Scott. LOL pretty fucked up that that’s the biggest basis for a lot of my ships, but hey, welcome to TW fandom amirite?
PART ONE
Y/N’s POV
“5 more minutes, please Scott.” I mumbled sleepily, face buried in pillow.
Scott was waking me up for school, but today I feel so lazy.
“We’re gonna be late.” Scott whined.
“Oh please you go fifteen minutes before school starts anyway.” I mumbled.
“Who’s gonna give you lift then?”
“I will text Theo, now get the hell out and lemme sleep.”
“Fine!”
Finally he left. I sighed and reached my phone and texted Theo to give me lift. After few more minutes of snuggling, I unwillingly got out of bed. After getting ready I heard Theo’s car’s beep.
I grabbed two sandwiches from the counter and went outside, Aunt Melissa left early today for her shift.
“Good morning princess.” Theo laughed looking at my state.
My hair was pulled up onto a messy bun, I wore baggy T-shirts with jeans.
“Don’t laugh, I was up all night finishing off the freaking essay.” I groaned.
“Aww, you look cute still.” Theo said smiling softly.
“Sure.” I scoffed and handed him one of the sandwiches.
Once we arrived at the school, we were talking and walking down the hallway. I spotted Scott and Stiles standing in front of my locker.
“Hey guys!” I said.
“Hey,” Stiles said and hugged me.
“The sleeping beauty’s here.” Scott laughed.
“Shut up.” I punched him playfully.
“You look cute today.” Stiles said smiling.
“Uh thanks?” I blushed.
“Theo,are you alright?” Scott asked Theo.
I looked at Theo, he looked tensed, and it was as if he was controlling himself not to wolf out.
“I have to go.” He said and rushed off to his class.
“What’s up with him?” Stiles asked.
“No idea.” I replied confused.
........................................................................................................................
After the classes, it was soon lunch time. Before lunch we had Physics, but Theo was not in the class, I haven’t seen him since this morning and now I was worried.
I sat beside Stiles and began making small talk with Lydia.Then I saw Theo coming towards the table, I sighed in relief and when he sat in the spot next to me, I asked him, ”Where the hell were you?”
“Oh it’s nothing serious, just wanted to take a break from class.” He shrugged.
I placed my hand on him and asked, ”are you sure you’re okay?”
“Yeah.” He said slowly looking into my eyes.
“Y/N, you have to try these fries,” Stiles said and fed me some fries.
“Mhmm, this is good, did they hire new chef or something?” I asked.
“Maybe.” Stiles laughed feeding me some more.
“You two are so cute.” Kira gushed.
“Yeah just date already.” Malia chuckled.
I blushed and looked at Stiles, he was blushing too.
“I gotta go, I just remembered something. ”Theo suddenly said getting up.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing serious, I promise, I will call you later.” Theo said rushing off.
Well that was weird.
.........................................................................................................................
“No way Lyds!” I said to Lydia, me and her were currently at her place just flipping through fashion magazines.
“I’m telling you Y/N, he was so jealous.” Lydia said.
“Theo and I were a thing when we were kids, that was not even real. Now we’re just friends okay?” I argued back.
Although I said that I couldn’t help but think of Theo more than as a friend, I still had feelings for him. But I can’t risk it, I can’t bear heartbreak again. It’s better if we stay just friends, atleast that way I can still talk with him. Now I wanna focus on future, with Stiles.
“Are you sure about that? I saw the way he looks at you Y/N.” Lydia said smiling.
“Whatever it is. I don’t wanna ruin the thing I have with Stiles now.” I sighed.
“Aw, do what your heart wants, I’ll be here to support you.” Lydia said.
“Do you think Stiles likes me?” I asked blushing.
“Hell yeah he does, he’s head over heels.”
“I really hope he does, he’s so cute and perfect and all.”
“Love is in ze air.” Lydia said laughing.
“Whoa slow down, not love, just crush.”
“Yeah right.” Lydia laughed.
.............................................................................................................................
*the next day*
“Finally it’s Friday.” Kira said relieved.
“Guys, let’s go to this party tonight at Sean’s place.” Liam said during lunchtime.
“Yeah it’s been awhile, we should go.” Malia said looking excited.
“Yeah it’ll be fun.” I said.
I’m looking forward to this party to be honest. This week’s been stressful with school work and stuffs.
............................................................................................................................
“Theo, you coming to the party tonight?” I asked Theo as I took a seat beside him during Physics class.
“I don’t know.” He shrugged.
“Please come, it’ll be fun !!” I tried to convince him.
“Total waste of time, I can’t even get drunk.” He said.
“But I’ll be there, c’mon!”
“Uh okay, fine, only for you.”He smiled.
“Yay.” I cheered and he laughed.
.............................................................................................................................
“Y/N you look so pretty,” Lydia approached me and hugged me once I went inside the party.
“Thanks, you look great too.” I said smiling.
“Where’s everyone else?” I asked her.
“They are in the other room getting us drinks, c’mon,” she said.
“Guys, Y/N is here.” She said as we entered the place where drinks are kept.
“HEY!” They all said cheerfully.
“Do you want a drink?” Stiles asked me.
“Uh no thanks, I’m fine.”I said.
“Okay.”
“It sucks I can’t even get drunk.” Malia sighed.
We all just chuckled.
“By the way have you guys seen Theo? I texted him, he said he’s already here.” I asked the pack.
“Yeah I saw him earlier, no idea where’s he now though.” Kira shrugged.
“Okay, let me go find him, I will be right back.” I said as I exited the room.
The place was crowded, I began searching for Theo. The moment I spotted him my face fell. He was kissing a blonde girl. She was straddling him, they were sitting on the couch.
I felt my heart sink and a giant lump form in my throat.
He really doesn’t like me romantically anymore.
What was I thinking? Ofcourse he doesn’t. Silly, stupid Y/N.
I sighed and went outside for fresh air. As soon as the cold air hit me, I felt somewhat refreshed. I walked towards the swing that was just around the corner and took a seat in one of the two swings. The music from inside still loud outside.
Why am I feeling this bad? I shouldn’t, I definitely shouldn’t. But I still couldn’t help but let the tears stream down my face.
“Y/N?” I heard Theo calling me.
I didn’t reply him back, just wiped my tears off and tried to not breakdown. He took a seat beside me in the other swing.
“You’re crying,” he started slowly, “why are you crying, everything okay?”
“Yeah, I-I’m fine.” I lied.
“Oh please, cut it off, what’s wrong?” He asked looking concerned.
“It’s nothing, like I said I’m fine.” I said stubbornly.
“You’re not fine, just tell me, please.” He said taking my hands in his.
I looked the other way, not wanting to see him.
“Look at me, please tell me what’s going on.” Theo pleaded, “did I do something.”
“Oh please Theo, as if you don’t know.” I sniffled.
“What?” He asked confused.
“I-I’m upset because...”I started.
“Because? Just tell me.”
“I saw you kiss some blonde girl !” I said frustrated.
“Oh.” He said slowly, “I had no idea that would bother you.” He shrugged, ”why does it bother you?”
“It-it’s just I was surprised.”
“Being surprised doesn’t make you burst into tears. There’s more to the story.” He stated.
“Just forget it, okay?” I shrugged.
“You still like me, don’t you?” He suddenly asked me.
“Wha-” I was interrupted by him.
“Besides, just to be clear, she was drunk and before I could stop her she started kissing me.”He started, ”If you stayed till the end, you would’ve seen that I pushed her away. I can never look at some other girl, when I already am in love with someone else.” He finished.
“Oh you like someone else? Who is it?” I asked with a pang in my chest.
“You didn’t answer my question yet, do you like me?” He asked.
“Theo....yes I still do, and seeing you kiss someone else just made it more clear.” I sighed.
“It hurts, doesn’t it?” He began slowly, “do you have any idea how much I was hurting when you were with Stiles, and everyone adoring you as couple.”
“I wasn’t dating Stiles, I had this crush on him....wait the girl you lik-”
“Is you, Y/N Y/L/N, it’s always been you.” He said looking me at my eyes.
Before I could respond, Theo pulled me closer and kissed me. I immediately kissed him, and boy the sparks I felt was just indescribable. I pulled away and looked him in the eyes, the street lights gave enough light for me to see his gorgeous face.
“Promise me, you’ll not leave like you did years ago.” I asked gently.
He cupped my face and looked seriously before saying, “I promise.”
