imo when willow tried to turn amy back from a rat in s6 it shouldn't have worked and willow is just pulling her hair out trying to figure out why but since she and tara are broken up she never finds out that miss kitty fantastico ate amy back in s4 and tara bought a new rat and hoped nobody would notice

I saw a RAT in the trophy cabinet chewing the cheerleader trophy that’s been there since forever and Mr. Giles and Ms. Calendar were standing there JUST WATCHING while sharing peanuts. She literally said “dinner and a show” I HATE THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH.

Warnings: canon typical violence, Buffy spoilers, magic and obsession.

Strolling into the library at Sunnydale High School, you were greeted with a very odd sight. Jenny Calendar and Amy Madison standing opposite each other proclaiming that they loved Xander more than the other did.

“What is going on?”

Giles pulled off his glasses and rubbed his forehead, “Xander convinced Amy to do a love spell in order to break Cordelia’s heart because she broke his. The spell went awry and now every woman in Sunnydale is obsessed with him except Cordelia.”

“I’m not.”

“You’re not?” Giles and Xander asked in unison. Giles put his glasses back on and stared at you.

You shook your head, “Nope.”

“You have no idea how relieved I am to hear you say that.”

“What are you feeling now?” Giles questioned.

You were about to answer when Amy spoke “Goddess Hecate, hear my will! Remove this challenger from my sight!”

“Not good!” Xander cried, jumping out of the way.

Red lights swirled around her but instead of attacking you, it turned on her.

“Foolish girl,” Jenny clicked her tongue and crossed her arms over her chest. “If there’s a goddess of witchcraft then there are gods that govern other areas that belong to the same pantheon. You asked Hecate to protect you from a challenger.”

“Another word for challenger is fighter.” Giles breathed, “The reason the obsession spell didn’t affect you is because a god has already claimed you as theirs. I would classify this as a battle field and since Amy’s spell backfired on her, pushing her forcefully into the air, I know which god has claimed you.”

So did you, “It’s Ares.” You stated.

Giles nodded once, “Let’s return everything to normal, including Buffy and then we’ll find a way to break Ares’ hold on you.”

“What happened to Buffy?”

“Amy turned her into a rat and she’s loose in the school.” Xander explained, climbing up from the floor.

“Oh.”

“Just another lovely day in Sunnydale.” Giles complained.

BTVS funny thought : 4x09

I was watching a video reaction about season 4 episode 9 and I just thought :

When Willow does a spell that works all kind of wrong, making things she say happen randomly.... She talks about Amy, the girl who turned herself into a rat.

Willow says "One second, she's a perfect normal girl" and Amy actually goes back to being a human being, for like two seconds. And then, Willow says "Then pouf ! She's a rat." and the girl goes back to being rat.

I can't help but think about the people making the show, calling the actress who plays Amy, asking her :

"Hey, could you come and shoot a scene where you're just gonna be sitting naked on a bed for like two seconds ? Yeah, no, after that we don't need you for other episodes up until season 6. Alright ? See you on Thursday."

Oof the tension between Jenny and Giles is no longer romantic

Angel trying to win over Drusilla is funny because I like seeing Spike pissed off (I like him but I like hating him as well)

Cordelia breaking up with Xander right after the necklace was rough damn girl

Amy: that is so mean :(

When I read the episode description I was going to hate on Xander for forcing Cordelia to date him through a love spell because that's... gross and awful but then I watched the episode and it's slightly less awful so uh good for Xander for not being that much of a creep ig. Even though it's still kind of creepy

Cordelia's hair looks really nice in this episode

I find really hard to care about Bangel because of how gross it is for an immoral being to be dating a teenager. I'm sorry Buffy I want to sympathize with her in this plotline and i do feel bad for her, but not in the way the narrative wants me too.
