I wrote these songs as an outlet for a dream that seemed impossible to fulfil at some point in time. I recorded these songs because @nidhisethianair insisted that I do. I approached @riffractor to produce this album and I don’t know what made him say yes, but his work on the album is for all of you to see. I had never imagined that actual human beings would spare precious moments of their time to listen to something that was written and recorded in my bedroom. This was the album that introduced me to my bro @ajayjayanthi, an album that brought @thesingingbassist and I together to write music again, an album that led us to find @shishirtao and subsequently @ashwinwashere. This album also got us TWO @radiocityindia Freedom Awards. This album has done so much for us, but most importantly it galvanised the fans of @anandbhaskarcollective’s fans into a sincere and dedicated group that has been there for us through thick and thin! When at home the only thing going on in my mind was when will I step into a new world ? ,when can I explore ?, when will I stand on my own? . the whole thing so exciting ahh what can I say . I will do this, I will roam here , I will go for parties , friends a LIFE that's what I wanted or thought I wanted . But now when I am there when I am out , when I can explore, all want is to go back home hug amma and appa lie on my bed and watch some series or movies' which I know I will fall asleep through, but this time I will sleep knowing that I don't have to worry about anything I am HOME . That amazing chicken curry’s smell that will wake me up and I rush into the kitchen for a bite wondering what would accompany all that deliciousness........ appam ohhhhh that's exactly what I wanted , how did she know that . Now I lie on my bed at 12 in the night writing about the appam and chicken curry that I dream about having . Is it a lot to ask I don't know , but I know one thing for sure this time when I go home I wont be dieting or not in a MOOD to eat because the pleasure of eating food three times a day PROPER food is something I no more enjoy .
