When the old guard had turned their back on one of the greatest voices in country music, American welcomed him in 1994 and began, what could be considered to be, one of the greatest back to back series of country music albums released in the end of the century. Where late century country artists started looking to pop and hip hop to sell records, American Volume One is simply Johnny Cash and an acoustic sitting in a living room. Let's face it, we all know that Hurt no longer belongs to Nine Inch Nails. New blog, new set of daily asks!

Good morning, Kelsey!!!! How was your weekend? I hope today is nice 🥰🩷🩷

omg, good morning, ashley <3!! u actually hold the title of my first like (like you liked something of mine first), so you're basically a celebrity in americanrecord history.

anyway, it was nice! i saw the ballad of songbirds and snakes on friday and it was actually much better than i anticipated (singing was bearable), then i spent some time with my mom and my dogs before we took my sister back to school. it snowed here! technically the second of the season, but also the most we've gotten so far, and the temp has dropped so long it's practically winter. i'm living for it because i'm not going anywhere.

other than that, i didn't do much of importance. i edited like four chapters this weekend, which was a lot more productivity than i anticipated, so that's nice. i'm getting down the final weeks of my internship and i'm just trying to hang on.
