I live in the United States and I figured.. hey, I'm semi-responsible with money, I'm going to reduce my federal tax withholding on my paychecks to as close to zero as possible, calculate how much I expect to owe, save that withholding myself, and then just pay my federal income taxes at the end of the year. I'm going to pay what they've determined I owe anyway, I don't want to give them what, to me at least, amounts to a personal loan for the year when I can put that money in a savings account and earn interest on it while I wait to pay them. I don't think this is gaming the system, at most I feel like this is what we're supposed to do and we're just intentionally not properly educated on the best ways to manage our finances. So I put that withholding in a savings account every month, and by the end of the year I had accumulated almost $70 in interest dividends.

I've been preparing and paying my own income taxes for 15 years now and I just now learn this year after seeing what I owe that if you don't allow the government to withhold at least 90% of what you're expected to pay by the end of the year, you get fined for underpayment. My penalty was $126 and fuck. this. goddamn. bullshit.

i wish i could live in a city completely without cars. i almost got hit again today in a crosswalk in broad daylight by someone running a red light i can't do this anymore

I need other countries to start imposing economic sanctions against America. Shut us down. Don’t sell us anything. Don’t buy from us. Stop vacationing here. Don’t allow us entry into other countries. Don’t allow their shipping to other ports. Do to us what we impose on other countries when we think they are trash. The U.S. is trash. Capitalism and being the first to go to war & fund other people’s wars really has the world believing we are a great country. We are not.

ugh so i got a call from my cardiologist, and im not having the echo today only the initial consult......... and like now im going to need yet another fucking visit cause of the “the joint doctor cannot request the echo the heart doctor has to request the echo” stupidity, and UGH ??? aNNOYING >.< 

okay. but getting adhd meds is such a fucking pain id rather be unmedicated at this point. like fuck. why is it so hard to just get meds that make my brain work??? why do i have to get fucked by the us government and health care system every single time i try to take care of my health.

i think the thing of chipp going to south africa and making a country named after himself is like, to me, somewhat equivalent to dizzy's age in terms of audience reaction. Like, it's said in the lore that he is there specifically because regions south of the equator are harder to get to so they didnt receive aid after a century of war against the gears. So to me it's like 'ok sure i can imagine a reading of this that isnt rooted in rasicm if you squint rly hard.'

i just think that there is a very obvious solution to avoid all this: Imagine everything is the same but Chipp Kingdom is located in Texas.

Just say it's a lawless area of America, formerly known as 'Texas' before the war. Bigots aren't really nuanced when it comes to their racial anxiety.
