Now he's the (un)living as one as Louis de Pointe du Lac in AMC+'s adaptation of Anne Rice's "Interview With the Vampire".

Joining Anderson is Aussie Sam Reid (THE NEWSREADER, BELLE) as his tempter and temptation Lestat de Lioncourt (with Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy and Bailey Bass as an aged up Claudia).

AMC+ offered their own temptation by not making audiences wait until the listed release date of October 2nd and has dropped the first of the seven episodes. A first episode so exquisitely cinematic, beguiling and sexy it is no surprise that it has already received a renewal.

While I have seen the 1994 Neil Jordan directed film, I am not a fan of the book and its universe; but while there are some fans who are upset about the racebending or the change in history, so far, there seems to be a great many who like the changes, loves the casting and really, really like that the series is explicit about Louis' sexuality.

May all the episodes be as great as the first.

But Anderson isn't a sad boi through and through- non, he finds joy in all these geekdom.

I was so happy when he booked a DR. WHO role.

When he attended Comic Con for the first time in support of GAME OF THRONES he said he found his people there. That year he walked the floor as Miles Morales.

This year he walked as Fantastic Four's Dr. Doom and late rapper MF Doom making him Dr. MF Doom.

my sweet Y/N, Rick thought to himself, he did this every night like a prayer to the lord above.

Y/N's death was hard on Rick almost as hard as Lori's but Y/N's hit him like a train that night in the line up where he lost his best friend, and lover.

he wasn't the same leader for months, wasn't the same person.

everyone around him saw the pain he carried after that night with Negan.

every time he closed his eyes at night he saw her face, her smile, her face staring at him with that smile he loved.

they had been through everything together.

but some nights he just can't stop dreaming about the way she let Negan beat her to death. she didn't cry or scream when he landed his bat in front of her face, almost as if she accepted death only smiling with her eyes closed before her peaceful face was ruined by her skull crushing in.

but he also dreamed of the best times he had with her.

like dancing in the rain even if the dead was around. she always made the most of his days, beaming in the dark like light at the end of the tunnel.

always taking care of Carl when he wasn't around, even after Lori died.

she never wanted the fight between Negan and them, she only wanted peace.

just like Carl, he loved how Carl thought of Y/N as a mother taking all her traits only wanting peace just like Y/N.

Y/N had been through a lot but still remained happy for everyone around her.

she hated the fighting between everyone.

but when you crossed her or hurt her loved ones, I'd say your goodbyes fast and quick because Y/N was a fighter but a lover.

she wanted to help, but had these moments where she couldn't control herself.

but she was the best person to be around always listening to people and their problems, always there even when she went through things.

but now she's just a "painted memory."

To the people saying “But Anne Rice okayed this and was Executive producer! That means she made it!” (in regard to the AMC shows)

Noooo she didn't. Do you know what executive producer means? It means... very little. Stan Lee was credited as Executive Producer on all Marvel properties since his retirement (in the early 80s) until the day of his death. Every Marvel property, including ones he never saw like the Scifi Channel's Man-Thing. Orson Welles was once offered Executive Producer status on a film he starred in and he said "Why? Executive Producers don't DO anything." Tim Burton (the director) didn't even know Francis Ford Coppola was Executive Producer of Sleepy Hollow until he saw the trailer. Anne Rice SOLD the rights OUT right, that includes creative control. She had NO hand in it at all. She was f--king dead before filming started! Executive producer status until time of death = a contractual clause in the SELLING of the TV and movie rights to the stories.Please stop repeating the spin-control and learn how to check the facts.

Anne Rice’s estate, including her official Facebook page, and her son (who is also credited as Executive Producer) won't mention either show in any positive or negative context in public. They can use an NDA contract to keep Christopher Rice from saying anything bad about the show. But they also cannot force him to promote it if he hates it. His silence says a lot.
