Si cambia musica. Qui si lavora di notte come Dino Buzzati al Corriere in Solferino, qualche anno fa. Sta roba di avere un neonato tra le balle ha ragionevolmente cappottato il sole e la luna. Mi ritrovo a scrivere di sera, di notte. Quando lui e sua mamma sono a letto. Poi verso le 2, le 3, io mi corico e Serena invece si alza perché lui ha la poppata. E dopo non so bene che succede fino alla mattina. Ho un sonno pesantissimo io. Pensa che quando prendevo il treno regionale mi capitava spesso di perdere la mia stazione perché in piena fase rem 4. Mi svegliavo tre o quattro fermate dopo e mi toccava fare la strada a ritroso. In ogni caso sono molto felice oggi, perché, per assecondare questa nuova vita da scrittore notturno, ho acquistato una bella scrivania e una sedia di design, replica (non si vede nella foto, ma è proprio dietro la scrivania). Le ho posizionate nello “studio”. Che alla fine è una stanza soppalcata del soggiorno, fino a poche settimane fa adibita a deposito. Beh questo da adesso è il mio regno. Qui si scrivono articoli. Qui si scrive il libro. Qui si fa la storia. Magari ci salirò solo per leggere Quattroruote. Pensavo che sarebbe carino da parte tua, appena pubblicherò, comprarlo il libro.
