Interworld Trilogy
Hallo, semua! Rasanya sudah lama sekali sejak aku terakhir kali menuliskan perasaanku soal buku yang baru habis aku baca. Dulu, aku punya kebiasaan menceritakan buku yang baru saja selesai aku baca kepada orang-orang di sekelilingku, entah mereka benar-benar tertarik atau sekadar menghormatiku saja, Hahahaha.
Jadi sekarang aku mau merekomendasikan buku-buku yang baru saja aku selesai baca dalam dua hari, hehehehe. Buku-buku ini merupakan garapan dari penulis bernama Neil gaiman yang berkolaborasi dengan Michael Reaves.
Judul dari buku pertama trilogy ini adalah Interworld. Dalam buku pertama ini Neil memperkenalkan sebuah dunia atau kota yang berpindah-pindah dari satu bumi ke bumi lain untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya beserta seluruh penghuninya yang memiliki keunikan : mereka semua adalah aku bagi seorang Joe Harker.
Interworld adalah sebuah dunia yang dipenuhi oleh orang-orang berwajah mirip dengan Joe Harker dalam berbagai versi : laki-laki, perempuan, lebih tua, lebih muda, bersayap, berbulu, cyberborg dan lain-lain yang berasal dari bumi-bumi yang berbeda!
Tapi semua Joe Harker itu memiliki kesamaan : mereka semua bisa Berjalan. Mereka semua adalah pelintas. Seorang pelintas adalah orang-orang yang mampu berjalan ke dalam satu bumi ke bumi lainnya dalam altiverse. (Oke, aku sedikit bingung bagaimana cara menjelaskannya karena di dalam bukunya neil menjelaskan dalam teori rumit semacam definisi materi kuantum, kalau ada yang pernah ingat materi itu sih ehehhe. Tapi intiny begitu).
Buku pertama menceritakan pengalaman pertama Joe Harker dalam melintas, beradaptasi di Interworld yang semua orang membencinya karena kesalahan fatalnya dalam perjalanan menuju Interworld, dan pengalaman pertamanya beremu serta berhadapan langsung dengan musuh bebuyutan para pelintas : HEX (Pelintas memiliki dua musuh dari masing-masing sisi busur altiverse yaitu HEX yang mengandalkan sihir dan Binary yang mengandalkan sains. Sedangkan Interworld merupakan sebuah organisasi yang mencoba mempertahankan keseimbangan di antara keduanya).
The silver Dream adalah buku kedua dari seri trilogy ini. Dalam silver dream, Joe Harker menemui masalah yang lebih rumit seputar rahasia-rahasia Interworld yang berhubungan dengan dia dan masa depan. Dalam silver dream, Joe Harker lagi-lagi menyebabkan kematian orang-orang terdekatnya, atau begitulah dia pikir awalnya sampai kemudian dia menyadari, segala sesuatu di Interworld penuh dengan misteri. Begitu pun seorang gadis misterius bernama Acacia Jones yang tiba-tiba muncul dalam sebuah misi pelatihannya bersama regunya dan menolong mereka dari serangan Binary. Acacia bukanlah seorang pelintas, tapi dia bisa melintas. Dia mengetahui segala sesuatu tentang Interworld dan bahkan soal Joe Harker lebih dari diri pemuda itu sendiri.
Dan Interworld dalam bahaya besar. Dunia ini, atau altiverse dalam bahaya besar karena HEX dan Binary bersatu untuk menjalankan sebuah misi yang menakutkan : Membentuk ulang altiverse.Membentuk ulang altiverse agar sesuai dengan dunia yang mereka inginkan.
Dan Joe Harker adalah pelintas yang mereka butuhkan untuk dapat menjalankan misi tersebut.
Sedangkan buku ketiganya, Eternity’s Wheel, aku belum punya jadi aku belum baca, hahahaha.
Tapi intinya, buku-buku ini sangat menarik untuk dibaca. Sebuah gabungan antara science fiction dan fantasy yang pas sekali. Tidak menyesal seandainya kamu merogoh saku dan membeli buku ini. Pokoknya, selamat membaca!

Continuing with my dedf1sh + Allan exibit
I will go in reverse order
19 bless- Alexandria, friends n all, everything is happy
16 salty- her friends start leaving her because of paranoia
14 crush- Alexandria joins a band and thinks she feels happy… but…
13 shade- Alexandria collapses on emotions.. she starts getting heavy paranoia and anger to herself and others about why they are leaving her, so she locks herself in her room.
12 awake- because of her anger, she starts watching popee the performer, she gets transferred to the world litteraly and it takes awhile
11 above- Alexandria is confused and scared, not knowing fully where she is
9 party- Alexandria fighting poppe for defense, until poppe’s father shoots her, leading into
8… regret… they lose all identity.. all sense of self as they float in a void for as it feels like hours… slowly…. Becoming no one… until
6 frisk- they are transferred back to somewhere, they are as feral and scared as an animal without reigns.. violent and lacked of control, they are half blacked out, half normal. Normal side is always crying.
5 thirsty- allan, gaining more control of their reactions, yet still very scared and confused. They are now three quarters blacked out, you can only see one quarter of the normal face (the mouth)
4 dunno- allan, fully transformed, they are still a little animal like in behavior, but relatively calmer
2 ripped- allan when they travel to different worlds, they are calmer now, sporting that grin that never goes away.. they end up slowing down their human meat consumption
1 progress- allan, learning more about themselves and trying to level out. they start to not smile as much
0 shell- current allan. They rarely smile, show any emotion in public, and are quite shy and emotional deep down. They learn about their past, since memories start to flash in their eyes..
