always wanted to arrange my artworks in a gradient and since I started drawing again over a year ago, I was finally able to put this together 🫶

cw: talks of having kids
Bakugou lays sprawled out on your bed as you flitter around the room, moving from your closet to your dresser and back in a hurry of movements. You’re doing a bit of spring cleaning (yes, even in the winter), and Bakugou decided to come over and help, even though he’s just been laying around the whole time.
He had a rough patrol yesterday, even sports a few bruises on his ribs, so you let him take it easy, throwing him one of your old pink scarf hat combos with the little bunny ears on top. You don’t expect him to wear it, but the image of him laying against your bed with the floppy ears on top of his head makes you smile anyway.
You go back to your drawer, pulling everything out in order to throw some stuff away and reorganize the remaining things. At the bottom of the drawer though, do you find some old clothes when you were a baby. It’s been here for years now, after your parents gifted them to you, just in case you’d wanna use them for your future kids. It’s just collecting dust in the bottom of your drawer though, honestly, and you pull the tiny little purple and white checkered onesie out, examining it and the little bonnet underneath with a small frown.
“Who the hell is that for? ‘Cause it sure as hell ain’t fitting your big ass head.” You hear Bakugou call from your bed, your head whipping around to face him and his cheesy little grin. You narrow your eyes and poke your tongue out at him, throwing him the little combo as you turn to get the rest of the baby clothes out.
“Says the one whose head almost tore his mothers cooter in half during birth.” Thank you Mistuki for the information, you think to yourself, smiling an evil little smile that Bakugou frowns softly at.
“And it’s my old baby clothes. My folks gave it to me when I moved out, said I could use it for my own future gremlins.” You smile when you pick up the little yellow booties in your dresser, another little bonnet with a tie underneath the chin, and a pair of shorts that were entirely too cute and tiny. “Think I’m gonna throw it out, though.”
“Why would you do that?” Bakugou asks quietly, suddenly behind you, his chest against your back as he gently plucks the shorts from your hands to examine them closer. You look at him from over your shoulder, at the soft look that falls on his face, how his rough thumb rubs over the still soft material in his hands, how his eyebrows lose their crease and his mouth tilts up just so in the corners.
“We’re not having kids any time soon,” you say, your voice tacking on a silent ‘right?’ at the end of it. Bakugou doesn’t say anything for a long while, but he blinks down at you, looking so ridiculously cute in your pink hat, holding your baby clothes. You hand him the booties in his other hand and he takes them, so gentle, with such care, it makes your stomach do somersaults.
“Maybe we should talk more about that.” He whispers softly, looking at you from under his lashes, his garnet eyes searching your own. You nod though, stroking gently at the shorts he still holds with tender care, a smile tugging at your lips.
“Yeah,” you mutter, leaning up to press your mouth against his own. “Maybe we should.”
#could u tell that i was deep cleaning in the winter and found some old baby clothes in a drawer lol#this is so specific leave me alone#but also the imagery of Bakugou wearing the clothes you’re throwing out for the fun of it :(#puts on your too small mittens and brightly colored hats and even tries on your old sweaters just to hear you laugh when he can’t fit it#over his big ass head and arms#I’m gonna sob such an ugly sob#okay I’m done I just love him so much#so many grand emotions#wait i think I’m gonna write something for touya tonight too gimme a minute 🏃♂️#before this sleep medicine knocks me out cold on my ass#—new treat in the streets! 🍫#bakugou treats! 🍬

Made some complementary badges for the @nonbiney-swag-competition thanks to @ghostisredacted's V1 request!!

WOW I FINALLY FINISHED THIS SET. There were a lot of things I wanted to get right for them so I took some extra time but hopefully it was worth it! The guild for this set is Cobalt Heart- a guild with focus on maritime missions, lead by (of course) guildmaster Neptune. There was no other planet I could've picked for his namesake lol. They're the guild I jokingly call the most jockish, but some moreso than others. I really do hope I did all the characters justice, but if you wanna know more about the individual members, it's under the cut as usual!

Flaw power is based on: Originally based on his overly relaxed go-with-the-flow nature, but since becoming a father and guildmaster he's matured, and his power grew from simple wave control to more powerful control over the ocean's water. Waves aren't always peaceful, but he's become someone who understands their power and the responsibility needed for it.
Notes: If it's unclear, the marks on his chest are meant to be top surgery tattoos, but in cool wave shapes!

#finn's ocs#finn's art#oc references#FINALLY POSTING THIS SET#there was a bit of a delay bc i wanted to make sure i got the crutches w naos right#i ended up not making just the crutches a weapon but like. with modifications based on a real self defense item i found#but slightly different for both fantasy reasons and also i think its patented lol#his pose is also based on a real self defense w crutches video that my friend sent me (hiiii thank you for that once more btw <3)#so like hes very much in motion here. thats not how he usually stands w the crutches lol he usually like. uses them as crutches lol#the little trigger on them is what releases and returns the blade in them btw#also as for the rest of the group! i think neptune is absolutely the most fitting of his namesake out of all the guildmasters#i mean they all have aspects of it but he's fully embraced it. despite what i said abt him growing into responsibility and all#hes still such a chill nice guy. just in general. it would take a lot to get him angry (and if you did the sea is NOT peaceful!)#and in a lot of ways triton is like how he was when he was younger. responsibilities dont matter he needs to go to the challengers deep NOW#also the reason i picked twin sai to be his weapon is bc i didnt wanna do a trident twice. even tho like thats kind of the typical motif#but sai are like. also a 3 pronged weapon. so i felt it kept the energy. but smaller and 2 of them#omg speaking of weapons i completely accidentally added a trans flag to ariel's baton design lol. but i left it in why not#i had such a hard time w her colors bc i wanted her to be flashy but also to make the leotard mermaid esque#also for it to not be too revealing. like leda (from the lunar flare set) can have an exposing leotard tutu sure but shes an adult#and i wanted to give ariel more of like an 80s home gym workouts vibe. with the legwarmers and scrunchies lol#and the twins!!! i wanted to make them samey but differeny. in a way i havent done w matching outfits before#bc the actual shapes of the clothes are very different but the colors totally match!#plus the twins are fraternal. i feel like thats obvious what w their different hair colors but there are more subtle things#like slightly different eyes. the height and weight differences arent part of that tho bc that can happen to any twins even identical#otrera i also had a lot of fun with. especially the blonde hair in an emo bang with like a pink sporty outfit#the crown logo references her namesake being a queen too!#she really was fun tho bc shes just no nonsense trusts nothing but her gut. and shes meant to be like an MMA type#aitne was also super fun but a bit tricky to make it clear that their eye is half lidded from the burns and not just like a drawing mistake#but i think i made it clear! its important bc their vision is also impaired on that side#and the burns themselves were most likely an accident on their end. remember they're brash and destructive. even to themself!

#chattin#zenkichi#being DRAMATIC#mainly its bc i was thinking of giving my akira grey hairs bc its just a cute lil trait lol#i am biased; i got my greys early. like back when i was 14-15#and i was like who else could i give that to. maybe haru? bc i have a cousin w her hair type and color that was born w a natural grey spot#kinda like claire (from the now disgraced bon appetit)#and i was like weuuuh. maybe i can give it to zenkichi? and like. ugh. it would fit so well#esp bc he looks like a YOUNG dad; hes not old to me.#so i think the gramps nickname would come from him having visible greys#from genetics but absolutely amplified from stress#the piercing n tat stuff is coincidental. bc i just saw a post for ryuji about and it#and it reminded me that i was still in the process of working on zenkichi and my thots on him#like how i think hes pretty fucking strong (as evident by him continuing to knock out men with ease)#and he hides it w the suits#also the greatsword??? come on.#and the piercing/tats was bc i had MULTIPLE PAs (and NPs) who worked w long sleeves under their scrubs#and they had like. fullblown tattoo sleeves underneath. they were SO pretty; im really envious of the love put into it#and hanging w them after work was like seeing a completely different person. it was cool! i miss them :(#anyway. people like that exist everywhere. i dont think its too extreme to hc. id imagine he never wears his piercings#but u can see the pierces in his ear if he moves his hair too much.#and u will never see his fucking sleeves. he is always on the clock. its just too unprofessional#this is also bc i think it would be cute for ryuji and yusuke to consult him for a good spot to get piercings and tattoos respectively#and they only learn to go to him bc he overhears them talking about it and he doesnt want them to go to some shady place 😭#‘hey gramps; cool that u got some references but like. how did that happen? 🤔 how did u find them ? 🤔🤔🤔’#he has to spill it eventually u.u#ryuji does not SHUT up about it. ‘OLD MAN THATS COOL AS HELL. I started to draw my comic in October 2022 and i'm sooo happy with the improvement wahh my men look so much better now!!!!
#IT WAS SO UGLY ARGG i think 2022 wasn't my best art year honestly#i'm also glad i changed the palette#the warm colors were so hard to work with and kinda ugly when i had to use cool colors.. like for sky for example#it wasn't ugly just didn't fit the comic#now that would be cool if my paneling could improve too lol#it would if i was reading webtoons myself but it's been over a year that i haven't#i just don't feel like it at all anymore :((#maybe one day i'll be back at reading webcomics i rly hope
