"YES!"
"Sorry."
#mario movie#mario move spoilers#super mario bros movie#super mario bros#mario and luigi#super mario bros movie spoilers#cherrysip edits#i was gonna make a different gifset today but then i found that new trailer and WELL HERE WE ARE lol#TOAD SERIOUSLY CAN YOU READ THE ROOM HERE???????????#first time in the town was kinda funny second time was genuinely a bit upsetting to the point that i gasped when i heard the dialogue#mario would prefer you Do Not Say Things Like That!!!!!!!#he is no way shape or form emotionally prepared to grapple with the idea of his brother being dead or never being able to find him#that would end him. that would destroy him. he would truly not know how to go on. so that is just firmly Not a Possibility in his brain#(and now i made myself REALLY sad thinking about mario remembering this conversation a little later and wondering#when WAS the last time he told luigi he loved him????? he can't remember. he loves his brother more than anything and anyone#but he hasn't said it outloud in so long and the realization of that is extremely painful. there's some more angst for you!!!)#anyway this is just a compilation of all the significant scenes where mario and luigi are actually together we've seen so far and I CRY#also the brand-new one of them running through town!!! omg it's perfect#with mario doing unnecessary parkour and luigi just diligently jogging along on the outside and avoiding the mess#the characterization even in the tiniest moments like this is truly CHEF'S KISS#will be working on more gifsets because my brain just needs to stare at all this until the movie comes out lololol

fellow steddie shipper, let's talk about happy things that don't involved crazy people shipping actors together and trying to force their views down everyone else's throat. let's talk about some poor and terrified young woman who knows she has no means to raise the baby girl she's given birth two five days ago, let's talk about her knowing steve's one of the richest people in town and so she waits until she's sure he's inside his house and she drops the basket on his doorstep and rings the bell and runs away crying her eyes out. and when eddie comes running because his boyfriend called all frantic and desperate he's more than shocked to find steve holding a little baby. of course robin also comes by a while later and the three of them freak out and the baby is crying but steve manages to calm her down, he puts on his sweetest voice and eddie can't deny the effect that scene is having on him. steve offering all his love to that little piece of life, that little outsider that was left behind, rejected. robin reaches a point of sanity and begins listing what they should do for now. get some diapers and some formula. it's too late to think about anything else right now but they have to go to the hospital first thing in the morning, get the baby checked, then learn what their next steps should be. it's apparent she's mostly talking to herself because eddie has taken some steps forward and is now looking down at the sleepy baby in steve's arms and he can't help but place his left hand on steve's arm, the one that's supporting the baby's head. when their eyes meet, steve smiles all proud and eddie whispers a joke about all the babysitting steve has done in his life. we can totally skip the part where they try to come to terms that they can't keep her, they're too young, they're not ready to be parents. we can skip the part where eddie's watching the baby sleeping, little munchkin as he calls her, and steve is by his side tired out of his mind, almost falling asleep. skip that part where eddie let's himself silently cry because that kid is going to fall into the system and she doesn't deserve that, it's not fair, she's brand new, so tiny, it's just not fair for her to go through all of this. we can go straight to the ending, when steve uses his father's influence in his favor for once, when he manages to prove he's more than capable of giving a baby all the comfort she needs, that money will never be a problem and he can raise this baby with his boyfriend. and they have six not so little nuggets to vouch for them plus a very emotional robin who's already attached to the fact she's gonna be an aunt. we can imagine eddie holding the baby, his daughter, his little sarah (steve named her. it was very sudden, they'd been trying to find a perfect name, one that fit her. and one day while eddie was feeding her, steve stood up from the couch and exclaimed 'sarah!'. and eddie smiled and looked down at the hungry little girl, said 'hear thatm little munchkin, you're our sarah.), he's gently rocking her, getting her ready for her nap and steve is making dinner. they're both so exhausted and hungry but so unbelievably happy. and steve lets the food cooking for a second, moves closer to eddie, smiles at him and chuckles when he realizes he's humming metallica to get her to sleep. ''i know it's not possible, but she has your nose'' he says, causing eddie to stop the humming and smile from ear to ear. "she's the prettiest thing i've seen'' he says, to which steve nods and adds> "and she's ours."
Omg you have no idea how much I loved this 😭
Dad!Steddie is my favorite trope and it makes me so soft 🥺😭

Please Assist Me
So this is a new fic. I’ve not fully worked out where it’s taking me so watch this space. I’ve written quite a bit so let’s see how anyone likes the first little bit!
Chapter 1
He said
She was the third person we’d seen that morning. Cheryl was with me. I knew I could rely on her instincts to sniff out anyone the agency had sent who was likely to spell trouble. Of course, the agency promised to screen people so you didn’t get a nutter or an under-cover journo applying but Cheryl didn’t have total faith in their skills.
The first two had basically proved her right, being far more interested in looking round my house, asking who I might have visiting or unsubtly trying to see what freebies there might be than in finding out what the job really entailed. I was about to embark on my second directing project and I had an acting part too, so knew I was going to be all in as usual. That dedication to work would mean taking care of daily life would fall by the wayside.  I’d need someone to take care of travel arrangements if I was needed out of town, there would be some bills to pay, grocery shopping and all the other day to day crap like being around for deliveries or letting a plumber in or making sure birthday cards were sent. I didn’t say so but basically I was after an old style wife but without the relationship! I also needed to keep a certain amount of control, a small chink of ‘real’ if you will. So, if it was my sister’s birthday, I’d choose the gift and write the card but maybe I could use some help finding options to choose from given how busy I would be on set.
Sophia was the first of the interviewees who seemed to grasp the importance of this aspect to me and she asked good questions about the practicalities of me being involved where necessary. She was also the only one who seemed like she knew her way around a kitchen and one of my needs was going to be a little food preparation every now and again especially as I needed to watch my diet to keep in shape for the demands of the role.
After 2 more, frankly useless candidates were seen and ruled out, we both agreed that Sophia was the one. She wouldn’t be able to travel with me on shoots or promotional tours as she had 2 small children, but my main needs were going to be at home for the foreseeable future and things like buying a gift or a card for someone could be managed at a distance with modern technology and planning. A week after the interview, Sophia came over again for an induction session.
It took me a moment to invite her in – I was kind of stunned as I looked at her – I don’t think I’d really taken in how attractive she was at the interview,  being focussed on the interviewing task and making sure I was asking each interviewee exactly the same questions in order to be fair. That morning she was like a sunflower, clad in a bright yellow, sleeveless sundress. Her long brown hair was up in a practical ponytail and the dress contrasted beautifully with her tanned arms and legs, highlighting her Latin American heritage.
She followed me down the hallway to the kitchen, clutching a notebook which she’d brought to make notes on the tasks. By the end of our session, I felt in safe hands and she left with everything she needed to be my personal assistant starting with a one month trial period.
She said
My first real life encounter with Keanu was when I had an interview for the role of personal assistant. I hadn’t ever done a role like this having only recently signed on with a job agency after my divorce from Javier. Before that I had been a housewife and mum to our 2 kids Eva, who is 7 and Miguel who is 5.  Back before the kids were born, I had done a little modelling and in between jobs had done some “runner” jobs working on sets with A list actors. That experience, and my general organisational skills and domestic experience had identified me as someone suited to this role.
Of course, I’d seen Keanu on the silver screen like anybody else in all those big roles which made it all the more surreal to be heading up into the Birds streets for the interview with him and his PR lady Cheryl at his house no less.
Cheryl was charming but also quite formidable, giving me the impression that she’d kick the ass of anyone who messed with her client! Keanu himself was all charm but kind of shy and bumbling as he tried to explain the slightly unusual mix of mundane and personal tasks he was going to want help with.
The mundane were things like making sure his Koi carp were fed, that the pool guy, cleaner and gardener were  let in on the right days, getting his dry cleaning and some grocery shopping done. The personal was basically, as I saw it, the things a wife or partner would help a man like him do If he had one  - he wanted to make sure birthday cards and gifts were bought for his close friends and family but he would play a role in choosing them. He just needed someone to narrow down the options, make the actual purchase and wrap the gift. If he could, he’d deliver it in person but if he couldn’t do that, at the very least he’d write out a personal message himself.
There would be some advanced planning to make sure all that happened on time as he’d soon be on set for long days on his next project. I suggested that I’d need to come over on a Saturday sometimes to  make sure he could add those personal touches.
The job was basically perfect for me as I would be able to get everything done while the kids were in school and kindergarten. He didn’t expect me to travel when he did  - he could use hotel services when away and declared himself not so pampered or busy that he couldn’t organise some basic stuff for himself while he was away. He also had a place in New York so, if he had to go there , he had a home base. His main concern was that his LA home kept running well and I could handle all of that.
I was thrilled when I got the call that the job was mine and it was with excitement that I made my way back to his home a week later to get a more detailed briefing and start my month’s probation.
I stood on the doorstep for what felt like a long minute after he opened the door. I had a moment of fear that he’s somehow changed his mind or forgotten our appointment but he eventually shook his head like he was jolting himself out of a day dream and invited me in.
“sorry, sorry, what am I like leaving you standing there! Come, come in!”
I followed him into the house and we headed down the long corridor and into the bright kitchen where we sat at the island and he took me through his diary and my tasks for the month. He gave me an iPad to use with an e mail already set up as [email protected] and a credit card I could use for the purchases he needed me to make on his behalf.
He was  starting on set the following week and his sister Kim’s birthday was a couple of weeks away. Since she lived in Italy this would be one of the more challenging gifts to organise. He shared a little about her and took me to his office to proudly show me her picture which was on a wall filled with family portraits.
“This is a test right?” I remember asking.
“nah, nah don’t see it like that ….” He stuttered
“But it’s really important to you right?”  I countered and he nodded, smiling slightly
“yeah, yeah Kim, she ……… she’s very  important to me”
“As she should be” I said. “I promise to get you some great ideas along the lines you want in a day or two so you can pick and we can get it to her on time.”
“Thanks”
I hoped I’d do Kim justice – I really needed to keep this job.
On my first day, I headed up to Keanu’s house after dropping the kids at school and shopping for groceries that had been on the list Keanu had e mailed the night before.
Laundry wasn’t in my remit, but I spotted as I went in through the garage that there was a load in the tumble dryer due to finish soon. Keanu must have forgotten it. I made a note to pop back and fetch it after I’d done some other jobs.
In the kitchen, I put away the supplies and got on with making the elements of a Caesar salad with chicken that Keanu could quickly throw together after work.
Then it was time to start gift hunting for Kim. Keanu was interested in getting her a vintage Italian coffee set and we’d agreed it made sense to source it from Italy. Being a native Spanish speaker, I could muddle my way through Italian websites and I narrowed the choices down to 3 which I            e-mailed to him as well as dropping him a text in case he didn’t check his e mails. He’d said he would have some down time during the day but he wouldn’t be expecting me to share ideas for a day or two.
By then it was 2pm and I needed to head off soon to fetch the kids. I grabbed the laundry and left a pile of t shirts (all Arch branded) and boxers neatly folded on his bed. I hoped he’d appreciate that I’d not left them to grow damp again in the dryer and that he wouldn’t feel weird that I’d touched his undies! If I’m honest it did feel a bit surreal to me to be in his home, dropping him e mails and texts, doing his shopping and folding his undies but I reminded myself that he was just a guy and, really, so far he’d been pretty down to earth in my dealings with him – well apart from the $1000 budget I had for Kim’s gift that is!

feels a little early to be writing a year-in review but i find myself in a quiet moment so i thought i’d tap a few things out
Tumblr media
in 2019, in all facets of my life, i faced a challenge of some sort and i surprised myself as i held my ground more often than ran away, which felt new. what *also* felt new was this sense of ease i began having professionally, when it came to conceptualizing and making decisions. sorta feels like a lot of things are crystallizing.
in terms of life on here, i didn’t have TSL for the majority of the year (anybody out there remember TSL?!) so i busied myself with crafting fun memories on my own. there were spans of weeks where i’d just get on a tear and run into one new thing after the other and it was all really just fantastic. i gave myself permission to indulge in the most decadent of things and to follow the most mercurial of assumptions to places i thought closed off.
i’m pretty sure i’ve smiled and laughed more over this year than i ever have in my entire life. no joke.
here are some kaylorverse moments that brought me joy in 2019:
it’s nice to have a friend
2018 was my first year being a kaylor and i just sort of was moreover on the contributor or commenter side of things so 2019 was interesting in that when taylor really leaned into the gay imagery leading up to album release, i started getting newer people sending me stuff! and asking me my takes on things! and like, my words suddenly had weight for some reason? it felt weird but i truly enjoyed getting to talk with so many different people and hear their ideas and laugh and such. that was markedly different from last year. from within this, 79-swift reached out to me with the eye theory, the most beautiful and rare of observations by a singularly lovely individual that i have dedicated my life to protecting and promoting. and i feel like i’ve gotten to know many people i knew through 2018 more deeply and have come to accept the role i play, lean in to it, and formulate my own truth of the matter, and that sort of heightened perspective on it has been a blessing and i’m so thankful for this strange sense of camaraderie that has formed with many of you? thank you??? and my conviction, and my wishes, for the girls to find happiness have only strengthened this year... im committed to seeing this through whether people like it or not!! harumph!
block ‘em
i also started proactively curating my experience.. that’s right! i began blocking trolls with reckless abandon, and i turned anons off! 😂 and damn it’s so much more worthwhile of a time on here when you set aside people that only want to ruin your day.
i got over my fear of eyeballs!!
😂 no seriously, body horror and in particular eyes out of context was actually sort of a thing that previously creeped me out BUT LOOK AT ME NOW. i’m gonna do my best not to rehash the eye theory, please read the post and recall the number of times i filipped out 😂 each and every one is precious to me
also
geeking out with bert and ernie gifs with kaylorfossil and making empsmd-blog drop her debit card need a mention.
the ME! music playlist.
i fell in love with so many songs and like, running into eye motifs in so many of the songs, lyrically and visually, was the most hilarious thing. but really just a lot of the songs really tapped at my soul with an ice pick and i even went to go see The Japanese House live in Osaka which was transcendental and i’m just so thankful for having taylor introduce Good At Falling to me because it was a *necessary* album.
i made and collected stuff
i made and amassed many artifacts that one day i can look back on and remember what a wild ride it has been. some favorites are my procuring of the pixel art heart ring from the ME! mv (a nod to my tsl days..), as well as the evil eye ring.. i didn’t physically make this but the eye theory made the taydar podcast and there’s nothing i enjoy more in this world than making someone giggle and i just love that the episode exists. making that kaylor straw was 👌 working on a mock-up of the golden locket has been very satisfying. i started incorporating fun kaylor winks into my artwork as well which was fun, and i also commissioned a collage from the very talented and lovely valheria and i couldn’t have asked for anything better 🥰
wildin in the TS7 tag was the best.
i made this observation that there’s this type of cocoon that looks like a cobra, which transforms into a butterfly over a period of 13 days, and like, the post got so many notes and i just had a lot of swiftie eyeballs all of a sudden on my blog which led to some hilarity. but honestly i just love geeking out over theories and it’s fun to get to do that as fans of taylor at large. things felt warm and effervescent.
my newspaper subscription
i subscribe to the TTB Times and let me just say the submissions and anons this year were overwhelmingly a delight to read through every day. also like, we did get cued in to stuff before album release and i am just thankful that there are people out there both who want to give us that and people who work to help them give us that. thank you ttb for moderating your blog (my newspaper of choice) however it is that you do and to everyone that contributed to her blog.
the whole lead up to the ME! video release
so glorious... but particular the hour before. i was rushing to pick up my kid from school and suddenly i kept getting messages from people that taylor was covering her face and framing her eyes, and i was like oh please yeah sure BUT THEN when the snake in the video had a blank eye like i don’t think you guys understand i had to wait at a bus stop and exchange pleasantries with the other moms but it was a *five alarm fire* in my mind
cause shade never made anybody less gay
stealing away to listen to YNTCD for the first time and hearing Taylor Alison Swift use the word gay in a released song for the first time was a transcendental moment
karlie’s hand in the YNTCD mv.
‘nuff said
daisies. daisies everywhere.
taylor said daisy kaylor rights, and she said it everywhere. *everywhere*. cannot, will not, get over how blessed we are.
gay gay gay gay gay.... taylor’s
sorry not sorry that wiz khalifa collab with elohim on her track FYM was ethereal and i still hope it’s a part of the preshow playlist for Lover Fest
clue hunting in klossy videos and karlie ads
call me a corporate shill all you want like, there’s always a little something in there and i also enjoy the little flickers of goofy karlie that jump out from time to time. and i know this is not the case for everyone but post eyepocalypse, karlie leaning in, winking that eye of hers time and time again was just pique comedy for me and it always made me chuckle. the brands karlie has repped have been really laying it on thick too and it’s been a joy to see. when taylor does it with her music it’s art, and for me karlie’s media presence is a form of art too 😌
oh kaptain my kaptain
kimby liked a comment of mine on her insta which was a distinct honor and privilege 😌 and really she was dropping clues left and right through spring up until she got her snazzy new job and things calmed down 🥰 of which i am so proud talk about an on brand job! also partially clearing the air about my TSL theory and the lead up to clearing that air was quite fulfilling for me and i am forever grateful for the time we shared. and to this point, the seesters in general (and kurt omg) have been quite active all year and we don’t deserve it but they’ve stuck around and it’s been calming.
album cover art release on the livestream
LIKE I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE NEVER HAD A FOURTH WALL BROKEN SO DULY
i love you forever, thank you for everything
when taylor came to visit tokyo this year i was basically reenacting the swamp scene from OOTW trying to get a ticket to the secret event... i listened to ME! on LINE MUSIC for over 2000 plays, i bought multiple CD’s, it was such an ordeal and then to not have a ticket after all but still putting on my thinking cap and managing to figure out where the event was while i was at disney sea and literally running from disney sea to the venue in high heels with The Man playing on my phone was oscar-worthy and actually *being correct* and the moment i knew i was correct and how i knew i was correct was so amazing 😉 and i play by the rules so i didn’t try to get in without a ticket and i didn’t lurk. but just to have figured it out and validated it was such a thrill. seeing her on TV live was amazing as well ///
lost in japan, reprise
oh and, last year for rep tour there was this theory i had which didn’t pan out but it had to do with the clues i thought shawn mendes was dropping through autumn 2018 and anyway that’s a story for another day but as i was bopping around town, looking for lockets, staying in rooms i have no business being in, drinking lots of whisky...just to know that while i was doing *everything but* successfully meeting taylor, she literally phoned shawn and had him record lines for that eye theory remix like, i will never ever, like, guys. guys. 😂 it’s too perfect for words. the world is weird like that sometimes.
Lover
and omg Lover the album? i absolutely love lover and i loves that honeymoon period of theorizing and parallel unearthing that we did and i love how slightly creepy-cute it is and i love the whole wabi-sabi thing going on and i absolutely love every song on the album, every one, they all have so much meaning to me... and each one is teeming with little blips and bloops and sound samples and seconds of silence and i love all the brass instruments and so many lush moments... i guess my shortlist (in no particular order) would be the archer, lover, i think he knows, daylight, cruel summer, false god, cornelia street, ME! (yea i really like me 🥰). and to think about everything that went in to the album and the thrill of what it might have been and the vastness of what we don’t know, but like, the weight of that potential?? it’s like this vast pastel and black abyss of drowsy and deep feelings and i love every inch of it. it’s a vibe that reflects so much of what this year has been for me and i’m happy to have existed in this time to have had it with me.
jesus this has gotten too long, and i still have like 24 more things to write out but um, basically, as i’m sure you’ve been able to assume? i wanted to say that despite 2019 being somewhat of a slasher film affair for our fandom, i still had a goddamn great time this year and i hope everyone can find some good memories and relive them as well 🥰

Can you do a breakdown of everyone few episodes of season 7 like big things you think will happen
Hi Anon,
Not much has changed since I did the big breakdown when we were able to find the ‘leaked’ titles.  However, please bear in mind the only two we are 100% confident on are 1 and 13.  I’ll repost it here and add anything that might have popped into
1. The New Deal
Aired at D23.  Cliffnotes Mack, Robo Coulson, Daisy, and Deke have to save Freddy Malick from being kill by the Chronicoms.
2. Know your Onions
Well this is one of those weird titles that makes little sense.  There is a song by The Shins  But its also a saying for being very knowledgeable about something.  So this is where we’re really going to see Robo Coulson really showing how invaluable to this.  Also might speak to the learning curve the team is facing with all the new stuff.  Also a good chance we at least get a glimpse of FItz here before he disappears for a bit.
Written By Craig Tiltey AKA the OUT OF THE BOX dude.  He’s given us great episodes like 4722 Hours, Uprising, personal fave Hot Potato Soup, Rewind, and SPACE VEGAS!
3. Alien Commies from the Future
Well the Chronicoms take over some Russians or they think they are Russian, people were pretty paranoid back then.   And I’ll put the time period they visit here anywhere between the 50′s and 80′s due to the “commies” reference.  Good chance we’ll see lots of Military here based on who is already in IMDB.   This may also be when we see Enver show up…or two…depends on where they go after saving Freddy. Also trying not to think of Killer Clowns from Outer Space here.
I throw in this could be where we could see Stoner.
Written by the Zuckermans have given us episodes Lockup, Boom, A LIfe Spent, Option Two, Code Yellow, and This Sign.  They do have a decent amount of Philinda under their belts so this could be where we see May on a mission with Robo Coulson for the first time.
4. Out of the Past
Well something from someone one the teams past is likely going to come back to haunt them here.  And it also might tie into the 1947 movie bearing the same name about a small town gas station that has his life turned upside down when figures from his past return.  So they’ll be going for someone who ‘got out” and now is being pulled back in.
This would be the first opening I see for Afterlife and those involved in it to come into play.
Written by Mark Leitner, relatively new to the writing team he did Inside Voices and Toldja.
5. A Trout in the Milk
Guys I swear my google history for this show.  Another title based on a saying.  The meaning is that although you did not see the dairy farmer do it, he most probably dipped the milk pail in the stream to water down the product. It’s not direct evidence but a very strong circumstantial case.It is attributed as follows: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk. ‘ (Henry David Thoreau)
So the team will have strong evidence on something but can’t be 100% on it.  This could speak to who they feel the Chronicoms are after, if there is a traitor in their midst (its an annual tradition after all), or this could be where something could be wrong with Fitz and Jemma is starting to worry more/pick up on it.
Written by Iden Baghadadchi also relatively new she’s done Rise and Shine aka Hale’s Back story and squee inducing we are invincible and Collision Course Part II.
6. Adapt or Die
Raise your hand if this SCREAMS when we are gonna see Ward/Hydra again!   Because he said that a few times when he was discussing why he followed Hydra.  I just have no idea WHAT Ward we are dealing with…preturn Ward, Hydra Head Ward, Squidward (yay I got to use it again).
If not Ward someone has to adjust to the new situation and fast in order to survive.  This could speak to someone being captured, gone under cover, or something out of left Field.  Knowing who the writer is…could me buckle up for some Fitzsimmons feels people.
If it is heavy Fitzsimmons, this could be the where we learn more about “we had time” and possibly the Secret Child Theory gets some legs.  Adapt or Die could also speak to Fitzsimmons having to drastically change their lives in order to survive and move forward saving the others and the world.
Written by DJ Doyle…and a favorite with Fitzsimmons fans as he has given us some of the most iconic Fitzsimmons moments.  Past credits include The Things We Bury, Melinda, Purpose in the Machine, Many Heads on Tale, The Team,  Deals with Our Devils, INESCAPABLE!!!!!Also worth pointing out the sixth episode of each season has a history of being big FItzsimmons Episodes.
7. The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and the D
OMG are we getting a Bill and Ted esque Mack and Deke Team up. EEEEEEEEE!!!!!  I do believe this is where we are going to get “The closest thing to a Musical Episode the show will ever do” and Deke in the Red Leather pants Chloe talked about.
Bring on the 80′s/90′s nostalgia folks.  I don’t even care what is happening this one is gonna be awesome.  Also considering the writer we need to be on the lookout for a FItznapping….this is the dude who has written most of them.
Written by Brent Fletcher who has done some major major episodes.  The Dirty Half Dozen, Closure, Broken Promises, Farewell Cruel World (IE thank goodness we are FINALLY out of the Framework), FUN & GAMES, Space Vegas, and New Life.
8. After Before
I wanna lean flashback here and this could be another option where we get some answers from Jemma as to what happened during “we had time” and the fallout from that.  It could also speak to a comparison or a change in someone, a play on a “Before and After” King of Reveal.  Once again the writers lean towards something happening on the FItzsimmons front as they are the other resident Married couple with Jed/Mo on the writing team.
Also worth noting this is the first episode that Enver is in IMDB in so they’ll need to go back in time to meet up with him and I think they’ll find him at a point well after Agent Carter had ended.  Meaning there could be some critical early days of Shield backstory here as well.
Written by James and Sharla Oliver they’ve done Paradise Lost, The Patriot, The Honeymoon.
9. As I have Always Been
Episode LIL Directed…YAY!
Clark said this was one of his favorites of the season.
Lil directing means Jemma will be light in both it and 8.
This screams something to do with Enoch to me (like i hear him saying it when i read it), its pretty much what he said to Fitz before he gassed him.  In the trailer we see Enoch seemingly getting left behind as the the Zephyr Jumps away, stranding him in time.  It also means if we lose sight of him for a bit we might need to be concerned about him getting co opted by the evil Chronicoms and used against the team.  It should also be said that Enoch was on the planet for centuries, it could be only a matter of time before they come across his past self.
I feel this could also speak to Robo Coulson doing some soul searching about who he is now and coming to terms with the whole LMD thing.
Written by Drew Greenberg, another one of the long time heavy hitters.  Dirty Half Dozen, Who you Really Are, Absolution, Wake Up, All the Comforts of Home, and Leap.
10. Stolen
Well this screams someone getting kidnapped and/or having their memories messed with.  It could also speak to an item stolen or stolen time.  This is the point where we really could see Fitz coming back into the mix more.  This is also the point in the Season where everything typically starts to go to poop and the team suffers a major loss.
Targets for kidnapping for me are Robo Coulson as he’s what Shield has been using to keep ahead of the Chronicoms.  Fitz because well it’s Fitz and he’s in hiding for a reason.  Enoch to be used against the team.
Also worth noting this is the last episode that Enver is listed in IMDB for.
Written by Mark Leitner who is completely new to the writing team.  However vet George Kitson (yes the one they named Kitson after) did the screenplay.
11. Brand New Day
So I think that just like in Season 6, Episode 10′s Stolen is going to be a real kick in the teeth to the team.  In Leap they lost Davis, Piper shot her had, Sarge’s true self really got released, Izel escaped with the “monoliths”, and Mack and Elena were kidnapped.  Out of the Ashes was the team picking themselves back up and starting to fight back.
Brand New Day also represents new beginnings and a fresh start.  So after suffering a major loss in 10, they are gong to pick themselves up, regroup, and fight back.  But this all but confirms someone is getting kidnapped in 10 for me….looking at Robo Coulson and Fitz still.
Written by Christopher Fryer he’s another new writer but based on IMDB has been on the production team for a bit.
12.  The End is at Hand
Yeah that is not ominous at all.  And just like The Sign this season hold onto your hats because its going to be a major run up to the end.  I’m fully expecting a two hour series finale event.
The Chronicoms and if a new baddie is in the mix will have their plan in full motion (I fell like the we need to save this point in history kind of thing will be abandoned in favor of something bigger and scarier), the team will be scattered, some could be prisoners, and my stress level will be through the roof.
Expect it to end on an insane note just as The Sign did (with May being killed).
Written by Jeff Bell.  As doom and gloom and generally no fun he can be in interviews he has given us some amazing/huge episodes and his last one shouldn’t be any exception.  It may be worth nothing he has a knack for putting Fitz/Fitzsimmons in danger.  Previous credits include 084, Ragtag, What They Become, SOS 1, Maveth, Good Samaritan, World’s End, Real Deal, and Collision Course Part 1.
13.  WHAT WE’RE FIGHTING FOR
Pause for screaming with @eclecticmuses because this THIS is what we wanted from that first tease!
It’s the PERFECT title for a final episode and all cards are going to be on the table here.  I feel like not only will the team be fighting to save the world as usual but every single one of them is going to have a more personal stake in the game.
They are literally going to be fighting for THEIR futures as well.   Perhaps even their Past, Presents, and Futures depending on horrible plan they are trying to stop.
There is only one I am willing to theorize on right now because I don’t know what character arcs are coming and how things could change over the season for a lot of the characters.  FItzsimmons. They are going to be fighting for their future, their family, their happily ever after.  Come on Secret Kid Theory!
This is going to be action packed, major fight scenes, emotional as all get out as 7 seasons come to a close.  Their will be wins, their will be losses.  Mack is going to give an epic speech before he falls (sorry still don’t think he makes it) and Daisy will rally the team after he does.
Piper is back!
Written by Jed who has had his hand in every episode and penned some of the biggest ones.

Hey.
Congratulations on beginning your adventure into the wedding world! This article is going to give you some tips on how to stay focused, stay de-stressed, who to take with, what to wear and so much more!

Tumblr media
Before jumping straight into trying on dresses, research what you like! Create Pinterest boards, save pictures to your phone, look through bridal magazines, check out some blogs (ahem) and just try and get a decent IDEA of what you think you would like to wear. Take note of styles, fabrics, colours, sleeve details, trains, veils EVERYTHING!
It can be overwhelming, but better to be overwhelmed in the comfort of your own home, then when you’re out there physically shopping.
If this is your first time doing this, then you really don’t know what you want or what looks good on your body type. Looks through images, get inspired and start the process of choosing a dress. Have fun with it!
After you have done this, and you are out there at different wedding shops, don’t rely TOO much on the ideas in your head though. Do TRY to keep an open mind! Don’t be surprised if you fall in love with a gown that is completely different from what you thought you would go for. This happens ALL. THE. TIME. Embrace it!
Tumblr media
If you are shopping for a brand new gown that will be ordered fresh for you in your size, most designers and companies TAKE TIME!
The last thing you want to be stressing about is whether or not you have time to deal with alterations, accessory shopping and the like. Start shopping as soon as you can, a year or so is preferable. You don’t want to have to rush to purchase. Leave yourself enough time babe.
If you are planning on losing or gaining any weight, keep that in mind. Most bridal boutiques that order gowns new will take your measurements so your dress will be arriving as close to the size you are when you order. If you do plan to lose or gain, leave enough time after the arrival of your dress for alterations.
If you are buying off the rack, a similar rule applies. You will still need time for cleaning and steaming, as well as your alterations which can take a good amount of time depending on what needs to be done. Basic hems and bustles should not take very long but if you need a customization or modification of any type, i.e sleeves added, taking in to fit etc, these can take much longer. Allow yourself and the establishment you are working with enough time to complete everything with minimal stress! I will say this now, and many, many times throughout these blogs, ENJOY THIS TIME, you should only be doing this once! Have fun with it!
Tumblr media
When you have an idea of what sort of wedding gown you like and decide to start shopping and trying on, first things first is noticing what STYLE of dress looks best on you.
Again, this can be overwhelming, but it is important to keep in mind that there are only 5 STYLES of wedding dress –
Mermaid
Modified Mermaid
A-Line
Sheath
Ball-gown/Princess
Once you have learned what style you like and feels best, the rest is just details and variations like necklines shapes, colours, fabrics, bling & embellishments etc.
(Other articles in this blog will cover all of these in more detail – See “Necklines & How to Wear Them, Body Types & Wedding Gown Shapes)
Tumblr media
Having too many people join you on your wedding dress adventure can be come very hard and extremely irritating, for everyone. When there is a room full of people, there will always, ALWAYS be a difference of opinion. Like, look at politics or deciding on dinner with your family. NIGHTMARE.
Don’t take your sister’s best friend’s cousin or whatever (unless you guys are mad close). Keep it small, keep it intimate.
When there is a difference opinion while gown shopping, it is normally like, your Maid-Of-Honour, Jess, LOVES the bodice but HATES the colour and your sister LOVES the trim but HATES everything else or WHATEVER. As the bride (YOU), it is ultimately your decision, and all of these opinions can make you lose sight of what YOU actually like and what makes YOU feel beautiful.
It’s YOUR day, not theirs..ok? OK?!?!?!?
Ok, good. Next.
Tumblr media
Girl, NO!
When you are out there shopping in bridal stores, try to keep the amount of dresses you try on to as little as possible. This is new, this is fun, it’s like playing dress up, ok I get it. BUT this can be an absolute nightmare for you in the long run.
As we have talked about already, if you have decided on what shape you like, do your best to stay there. It is too easy to get distracted by all the pretty things out there, and you’ll end up confused, depressed and beginning to rethink the entire “getting married” thing. Don’t let this be you babe.
If you are already at that point, and already have tried on 15,000 dresses and you’ve found one at this one boutique that you LOVE but there’s these other 2 at the other place we were at today but “OMG there’s a new bridal shop just opened across town and I have 17 more appointments today” GIRL SIT DOWN, GO FOR A DRINK, TAKE A DEEP BREATH.
You need a break, don’t continue today, go home, take a nap and start fresh another day.
I love you, it’ll be ok.
Tumblr media
This is a really important one. Pick bridal boutiques that have experienced staff as well as good revues. If you decide to purchase somewhere, then you’re going to have a relationship with these people. You will have your 1st appointment with them , trying on different dresses, hopefully HAVING FUN (seriously, I will say this so many times, I’m not kidding). Then, unless you have decided in that first appointment, you’ll probably see them again to finalise, measure and pay deposit. Then the dress will arrive and you’ll try on your actual dress that belongs to you. Then the topic of alterations will come up and that can be a few more appointments. These people will be a part of your life for the next few months!
You can tell almost instantly if someone is doing something they love or have passion for. The last thing you want is a sales associate that is more interested in making their sales quota or their commission then helping you find your your gown.
This is probably the most important garment you will ever purchase, you want it to be the right one. Take your time, don’t be rushed and do NOT deal with pressure sales, EVER! If you feel that this person is pushing you towards something you don’t want, take a step back. Just like my previous point, you could just need a nap, or this sales associate has dollar signs in their eyes. There is no reason you can’t go sleep on it and return to the boutique another time (unless you’re getting married this Friday, but we talked about that…don’t do that)
Tumblr media
UNDERWEAR.
Seriously.
Whatever you’re most comfortable in, doesn’t matter, just wear them. In my experience, a lot of girls have forgotten or just skipped wearing panties that day. Trust me, I’m all for going commando, but when you’re out shopping for your wedding dress, IT’S NOT THE TIME GIRL.
You will most likely be having a stranger help you dress. Getting into these wedding dresses is difficult, you don’t want to do it on your own. Imagine, you’re shopping having a great day and you bust the zip off a $2000 dress or something. No fun. Day ruined. OR potentially worse, you are taking your jeans off to try and stunning sweetheart neckline mermaid gown (might be the one) and you realise you’ve forgotten to put on knickers and now this is the most awkward moment of your life. Also no fun. I don’t care if it’s a thong, full brief or leopard print frenchies, just where them.
Strapless bras are a good option as most neckline will show most bra straps and you want to get the best idea possible. If you are ahead of the game and have already purchased you undergarments & shoes, you’re amazing and organised and I’m jealous. But, bring those! Get as close to the feeling of your actual wedding day as you can.
Another good choice is SKIN TONED PASTIES. Most good structured wedding gowns should not need a bra, and these genius little things just cover your nips so you can be modest and free at the same time!
For those of you out there that are mad confident and don’t care who sees what on your body, GET IT GIRL.
Another tip for what to wear while looking for what to wear is, probably don’t wear those badass, thigh-high lace up boots with no zip. Also, probably don’t wear the tightest jeans on earth. I love them, you look great, but you are going to be dressing and undressing alot, you want to be comfy, and practical. Leggings, t-shirts and the like. That’s what you want.
Tumblr media
Ok, so, I read an article a few years ago and this girl basically said, when you are getting ready for a night out and you’re still not quite sure what you’re going to wear, don’t start trying on your wardrobe until you have your hair and make up done so you look as good as possible and have a clear idea of the whole look coming together.
So after I read that, I was like fuck yeah, that’s a good idea, and I literally do this every time now.
But wedding dress shopping is an entirely different kettle of fish. These dresses are heavy, the take time to put on, some have to go over your head, it’s a long day, I’m starving, I need a drink, I don’t even think I wanna get married anymore…ok wait…lost my train of thought.
Comfort is key. As we just talked about, dress comfy. A full face of make up and 3 gallons of hair spray might be a bit uncomfortable as you’re going to get hot and flustered. Make up trials and hair trials can come later honey, you’re gonna look great.
Tumblr media
Picture this, you and your girls all excited about finally getting out there and trying on some wedding dresses. Your friend came from out of town, you’re going out tonight, it’s buzzing. “Oh, hey, let’s check out that new taco place, it’s right next to one of our appointments. Let’s grab some lunch and then continue shopping!” Yay! Cool!
No. Not cool. Instant regret.
I’m not going to tell you to starve yourself or skip meals or anything like that, I’m not about that. BUT, I will tell you, as someone who is experienced in the bridal industry, and a girl who loves to shop and also eat tacos, a full stomach doesn’t feel great when you’re getting laced/zipped up into a fitted gown.
Do something light to keep your blood sugar up, you don’t want to crash or get “hangry”, but don’t gorge yourself. A good time for that, is after the day is done and you and the girls can go get a proper nice dinner and drinks and go over pictures and favourite dresses from the day.
Tumblr media
This is another important one. Your budget.
Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, be ashamed to lead the conversation with your sales associate with your BUDGET.
If you have a budget, stick to it. Try on dresses that fall into your price range. There is little more heartbreaking then to see a girl try on a gown and fall head over heels in love with it, only to learn it is 3x more then she is able to pay for.
If your spending is flexible, do your thing! But, if your spending is stricter (which, let’s face it, that’s most of us), don’t be pressured into anything. Don’t break your bank or spend your rent money! This will come down to your sales associate as well, as we touched on earlier, the bridal industry can be very competitive and a lot of sales people need to meet a quota. But, there are boutiques that DO NOT pressure sell, stick with them, THEY ARE THE GOOD GUYS. Tell them your budget, and ask them not to show you anything that is a crazy, ridiculous amount more than that.
Remember, you will most likely need a couple of alterations, even if you are measure to size, leave enough of your budget for this!

The Urban Distillery Takeover of Tennessee
When we started the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, I knew it was going to be fun, but I had no idea it would double as a history lesson. Nor did I have an inkling of an idea of how diverse 26 distilleries truly could be. How many times would we be able to learn about how to turn a fermented grain into a highly refined spirit? Plenty, it turns out.
And then we started tackling it, slowly—slower than most, as we’re doing it deliberately, taking the time to meet the distiller and the brains behind the operation, to interview the staff, to get a (literal and figurative) taste for the product—and it was immediately apparent that no two distilleries tackle production the same way, nor do any two whiskeys taste the same.
There are just too many variables to corner any whiskey into a box: mash bills, production volume, equipment, philosophy, and simple things like how to keep a business in operation that spans a minimum of five years before a viable product will hit the shelves are all things that impact the decision-making and end product that we’ll all enjoy poured over a pile of ice in a rocks glass.
Our experience highlights a truism that is inherent in any long-term business, particularly distilled spirits in one of the strictest regulatory environments in the country: build it and they will (might) come. Each and every one of these scrappy distilleries must find a way to build a client base, produce a marketable product in the short term while keeping an eye on a long-term plan for legacy status.
The Tennessee Whiskey Trail is designed so that you can tackle it in any way and in any order you please. We’ve analyzed the geography of our sprawling state with a tourist in mind to create easily digestible segments of each part of the trail in the hopes that if you’re only here for a short period that you’ll be able to at least eke out a significant bit of sight-seeing and tourism in the state proper but that you’ll also be able to experience some of the liquid magic being produced in our pretty backroads by passionate advocates of distilled spirits.
Only have three days and spending that whole time in Nashville? Cool. You can easily tick off a solid eight stops—maybe even more. Flying into Knoxville for a business engagement and wanting to get a stamp on your passport between meetings? Perfect. You can get two.
We, however, wanted to attack the trail in geographic order, from west to east, which took us to the far western corner of Tennessee to kick off our project for the Tennessee Distillers Guild.
MEMPHIS
You can’t even mention Tennessee to an outsider without them thinking of music and the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley. While country music and Middle Tennessee’s Nashville tend to dominate the current musical zeitgeist, countless stars originated in western Tennessee, and Graceland, the former home of Elvis, is a pilgrimage to many. Lucky for you, there’s just one distillery in Memphis, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the Bluff City’s other cultural offerings.
Old Dominick Distillery
Old Dominick Distillery is a high-end, multi-million dollar property right smack on the river in downtown Memphis. While it may seem more like a venue that makes booze than vice versa, don’t let that fool you: The building is a gorgeous, airy, metal, glass and wood affair situated in a prime location in a once decrepit neighborhood on the banks of the Mississippi River. An expansive greenway extends along the waterfront just steps from the distillery while some of the most pivotal moments in American history are contained just down the street with museums galore, as well as Beale Street—with its rocking honky-tonks, kitschy storefronts and historical theaters—the biggest tourist draw.
Where to Stay in Memphis
The Peabody Memphis is always my go-to when in Memphis. It’s chock full of history, with the original location built nearly 150 years ago, plus it has its own whiskey tie-in: It has a single barrel of Jack Daniel’s on site in the Corner Bar, plus some of its duck residents have gone to live out their days in retirement at the Lynchburg distillery. If you’re passing through Memphis, even if just for a day, a viewing of the daily Peabody Duck March is a must; at 11am each morning, they’re paraded down from their penthouse loft to the lobby, where they swim in the fountain during daylight hours, and at 5pm each night, they’re shepherded back to their roost for the evening.
I got a major surprise on my most recent visit and was asked to come up as the HDM—that’s Honorary Duck Master, for those not in-the-know—and got to accompany (Actual) Duck Master Anthony Petrina on his daily march. It was 100 times more fun than I ever thought it might be. (Watch the video below for a look at that special occasion!)

A mosey down South Main for the shopping and dining
A night out on Beale Street
NASHVILLE
Ahhh, Nashville. The city I claim as my home, as I grew up just an hour down the road. You need a good weekend to even scratch the surface, though a week is more ideal. Of course, if you’re wanting to hit all four distilleries (five, if you include Corsair’s two locations), then I recommend staying as long as your time allows you. You won’t get bored, that’s for sure!
Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery
Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery is one of our favorites in Nashville, with legit real people running the show, an awesome tasting room, large event space and barrel houses that are in the midst of an expansion into adjoining spaces in the industrial-cool Marathon Village. Nearly a decade ago, Andy and Charlie Nelson unearthed a whiskey heritage while on a day trip to Greenbrier with their dad, then committed to reviving the brand their great-great-great-great-grandfather launched that later died just before Prohibition; they opened their doors to the public three years ago next month. They continue to make their signature Belle Meade Bourbon, but have ventured into new products like a handful of cask finishes (madeira, cognac, sherry) and have a gorgeous brick and mortar to boot.
Pennington Distilling Co.
Pennington Distilling Co. has a number of brands that are housed beneath the SPEAKeasy Spirits corporate name, including their debut Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream and various flavors of Picker’s Vodka, but we’re most excited about their newest product, the Davidson Reserve Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey, which sends SVV into a tizzy of delight. Their location, in the booming Nations neighborhood, is undergoing a complete revamp with the addition of more than 28 large shipping containers fashioned into tasting rooms, event spaces and a rooftop bar overlooking downtown Nashville. Owners Jeff and Jenny Pennington, who both formerly worked for competing distributors, are hyper-focused on efficiencies in the process and use fascinating methods of recycling waste heat that could shake up the industry. And let me just reiterate: Their brand new rye, OMG, you need it in your life.
Nashville Craft Distillery
Nashville Craft has an excellent location, a gorgeous mid-century inspired building with high ceilings and plans to build an outdoor space to capitalize on the recent liquor-by-the-drink legislation, which allows all distilleries to serve up cocktails on-site with their own product. Bruce Boeko uses scientific techniques learned from years of running a DNA laboratory but brings a bit of artistic flair to create his booze and is just now releasing an aged whiskey to the general public. His sorghum whiskey Naked Biscuit or the Crane City gin are popular examples of his clear liquors that reflect his scientific attention to detail. Bruce is on speed dial for many, many distillers in Tennessee because of his expertise and willingness to share secrets.
Corsair Distillery
Corsair Distillery has long been a favorite of SVV after he received a bottle of their Artisan Gin for our housewarming party years ago. Highly experimental as a base corporate philosophy, Corsair makes incredibly interesting booze by integrating flavors from various grains like quinoa, buckwheat, oats, spelt, barley and triticale (I had to look that one up, too). The hardest part about visiting either of their two Nashville locations is choosing which samples you want to try from their exhaustive inventory. They also do craft cocktails made from their product so even if you’re not interested in the tour, you can pop in for a drink.
Where to Stay in Nashville
Nashville hotels are expensive, man, which is why I always tell friends to book an Airbnb. My favorite locations to stay in are Music Row, Germantown or 12South. Coming to Nashville and looking for a listing? Message me and I’ll send you my playlist of favorites!
Don’t Miss These Nashville Attractions
Nashville hot chicken, my favorite being Hattie B’s
A show at the Grand Ole Opry
Eating everything in Nashville, period

A night out on Broadway (touristy, but a must-do for a first-timer)
CLARKSVILLE
Clarksville is an hour north of Nashville and an easy enough drive to make it there and back in an afternoon. It’s also home to Austin Peay State University, but the big draw is its impressively massive distillery that just turned one year old.
Old Glory Distilling Co.
Old Glory Distilling Co. was built from the ground up by the Cunningham family and features an elegant event space with indoor seating for up to 375 people adjoining a working distillery. Like many of Tennessee’s smaller cities and towns, Clarksville has a booming revitalization effort going on downtown and is worth the trip up I-24. Old Glory is one of the few operations in the state that has the ability to produce high-proof liquor for vodka, which they do with a Tennessee twist by filtering the final product through sugar maple charcoal. Their first whiskey is due out in December 2017, and we can’t wait to taste their two-year-old product. They also make an excellent rum and a wheat-based moonshine, both of which you can sample in the tasting room along with a couple of cocktails on the menu.
Don’t Miss

Having lunch (and a pint) at Blackhorse Pub and Brewery
