I can't express enough how this woman looks so heartbroken, even the softest smile she does looks painful! She is such an amazing character, I am hurt how so many people despise and hate Tilda, sure she wanted to kidnap Aloy, but what would any of us do in her situation?

She was fulled by pain and loss, and I do believe after 1,000 years, you lose a bit of your own humanity. She so desperatly wanted a second chance that she was willing to have the woman she loves, and yes I mean Aloy, not Lis, with her at any cost.

I believe her love for Lis faded in a way over the years, I think she loved and missed the idea of her, of having someone with her, in a way, Tilda also failed herself by leaving Lis behind. They had broken up before she left for the Odyssey.

I believe that when she found Aloy, her love bloomed again, but for this woman, not for Lis, she also said during the fight that Aloy had surpassed Lis, and how she so wanted to convay the point that the forgery painting was also the one people we're drawn to, not the original! Wink, wink.

Horizon Ask Game

Thanks for tagging me @meg-noel-art

1.) ride or die ship (your otp): Aloy/Petra. I'm sorry but I love both of these characters and the chemistry the two of them have together. In the first game these two are only ones who mutually flirt with each other. Also I love that Aloy's actress Ashly Burch said that she thought Aloy and Petra were the only couple that makes sense.

2.) most annoying ship: Probably Aloy/Avad. I like both characters as friends but I don't see them in a relationship. Also most of the interactions between the two involve Avad getting rebuffed by Aloy.

3.) second favorite ship: Aloy/Talanah. Not my main ship but I can definitely see it happening.

4.) favorite platonic relationship: Erend/Aloy. I know a lot of my friends on here love this as their OTP but I see them more as siblings. They have a lovely brother/sister relationship that both of them need.

5.) underrated ship: I don't know if they would actually be in a relationship or just be really good friends but I love the idea of Aluki and Nakoa spending a lot of time together.

6.) overrated ship: Again with Aloy/Avad. Sorry it's just not there for me. If you enjoy it though then I fully support you.

7.) One thing I would change in canon: I can't pick one thing. Don't kill Varl, have Regalla be the main villain in HFW, and the Zeniths be the main villain in the third game instead of Nemesis.

8.) something canon did right: Beta. Seriously she's a fantastic addition.

9.) A thing I’m proud of creating for the fandom: I have a number of WIP pieces. Hopefully I get one ready enough to post.

10.) A character who is perfect to me (wouldn’t change a thing): Petra Forgewoman. She is literally the best and her face model is also here on tumblr. They're New Hologram and I love their videos. @newhologram if you want to check them out!

11.) The character I relate to the most and why: Personality wise it would be Teb. They're just always ready to help their friends even then they're in crippling pain.

12.) Character(-s) I hate the most and why: Drakka and Yarra from HFW and Resh from HZD. I was hoping that Resh might apologize or learn something or have chracter development. Drakka and Yarra's questline was one of the most developed but, like most of the side quests in HFW, amounted to nothing and both sides were unlikable.

13.) something I’ve learned from the fandom: How many good friends I have made by talking to folks.

Thank you for tagging me in this game @witheringfears and @singingkestrel !

1) Ride or Die ship: Ereloy, I love their Canon friendship so much, and this was the first pairing I fell in love with.

2) Most Annoying Ship: not really annoying but I just think it's gross. Aloy/Beta, if you want them to be in a romantic relationship or family members for that matter, imma stay far away from you.

3) Second Favorite Ship: Seyloy, these two are so so so important to me, you have no idea.

4)Favorite Platonic Relationship: Aloy and Erend. I adore their friendship, and I want them to hug more.

5)Underrated Ship: Gaia/Lis, Lis was SMITTEN with Gaia, and Gaia adored Lis. You can't convince me otherwise. Gaia misses Lis so badly, I think about it constantly.

6) Overrated Ship: I don't really get the appeal of Kotallo/Aloy 🤷

7) One thing I would change in canon: Varl's death. He did not need to die just to act as a transition for meeting Tilda >:(

8) Something Canon did right: Literally everything else, and you can fight me on that. I love the story of these games.

9) A thing I'm proud of creating for the fandom: All of my art and my long fic Dawn of the Avatar and its sequel A Tale of Twin Stars.

10) A character who is perfect to me: Elisabet. That woman can do no wrong. She is The Woman of All Time.

11) Character I relate to the most: Aloy. I was a social outcast when I was little and I have mountains of imposter syndrome and plenty of trauma to go with it, plus I'm queer :)

12) Characters I hate the most: Ted Faro, that bastard erased the entirety of human history cus he sucked so badly that he didn't want anyone to ever know how badly he sucked.

13) Something I learned from this fandom: How to be comfortable with my insecurities and how to be proud of my queerness :)

14) Three tags I seek out on ao3: Aloy/Seyka, hurt/comfort, established relationship

15) A song I strongly relate to my OTP/favorite character: Karma by AJR for Aloy cus poor girl has been through so much. Another song I usually think about in relation to Aloy is Meathook from the DOOM Eternal soundtrack. The amount of times I've fought massive machines while listening to this is too many to count lol

Something to hold

Summery: What happens if Tilda was a space pirat. Tilda alway gets what she wants. And she wants Aloy to come to space with her. What if she gets what she wants?

A idea that GingerAnne aka @aloyxtilda brought up. And I'm here to write it.

Enjoy

Chapter one: Of to space

Tilda was always like that. When she sees something that she likes then she needs to make it hers. So as she sees Aloy she knows that she needs to take her.

She thinks about it all the time how she can get her to come with her to space. And how she can get her without her friends. So when she was ready to beat Aloy in the battle at the Base and was ready to take her to space, she was surprised to see Aloy take Betas hand and get to stand next to her.

"I'm coming with you. But Beta too. She told me about your ship, not the Odyssey. We will let them have one copy of Gaia. So they can save themselves. But I had enough from saving the world. I've been doing that since I'm a child. It's time that I give myself something."

With that Aloy took Tilda's hand and started to make her way to the shuttle. Tilda was really surprised now. She wants to come with her. She can't believe it.

"You really want to come? Without a fight? Without a speak that the earth can be saved?"

"Like I said. I had enough with everything here."

"And you Beta?"

Tilda stopped before the shuttle and looked at Beta.

"Yes. It was beautiful here but I want to be next to my sister. I hate to be alone."

Tilda touched both of their faces.

"Then come. Let's start a new life."

With that she got in the shuttle with both of the younger women behind her. After they were seated Tilda began to start the shuttle. The course was to the Odyssey.

"Tilda? We don't go back to the Odyssey right?"

Tilda looked at Beta and smiled.

"No. Elisa will guide us to my ship. And from there we go far away. You know Beta. It gives so much more worlds and species in space than you believe."

"Really?"

"Yes Aloy. Don't worry. You will like it. Elisa make way to the Olympia."

"Yes, Captain van der Meer."

"Captain?"

Tilda laughed as both of the women asked the question at the same time.

"Yes, Captain."

"And what are we now?"

"I don't know yet. But maybe you can be the cartographer Beta. How does that sound? And we need to think of something for you Aloy. But both of you need new clothes."

"Cartographer. Sound got to me."

Beta smiled at that.

"How about a mechanic or a fighter when we land somewhere?"

"Mhh? Aloy what do you think?"

"I would like to protect you two. It suits me more than the mechanic."

"Then it's settled."

"Captain. You have five new requests from 3 planets."

"Thanks Elisa."

Beta and Aloy both looked at Tilda.

"I still spy for people. Or find things out for them and take the information then."

"Is this save?"

"Sometimes not. But I like it when I know things and can work with it to get what I want. So we're there."

Both of the younger women smiled at that. As the shuttle stopped Tilda was the first to get out. At the first step her outfit starts to change. Her white suit changed to a black trouser and a white blouse with black buttons and a jacket with black details. As she turned around she began to smile at them because of the shocked looks she got.

"Are you coming?"

Aloy took Beta's hand again and started to follow Tilda.

"You look good in it."

"Thanks Aloy. Sometimes I need to change. You can both have something like that."

"I don't think we could wear it like you."

"Don't be like that. You could wear anything you want and still look good."

Aloy blushed at that and mumbled a small thank you to Tilda. Tilda just smiled at that. She didn't think that it would be this easy to get both of them to come with her, but here they are. On her ship. Ready to rule the space. Even with Gaia.

"So what are we doing now?"

"How about you two sleep a little. It was a long day."

"Sleeping sounds good."

"Then please, this way."

Tilda leads both to one door and opens it for them.

"I will let Elisa know to give you access to the ship. I thought you would both like to sleep near each other for the first time. So that you do not feel alone."

"Thanks Tilda."

"You welcome Beta. Now sleep well. When you wake up we will have something to eat together."

With a smile Tilda began to leave for the bridge. Once there she sits down on her chair.

"Elisa. Get Aloy and Beta restricted access to the ship. I need to be sure before they can access all of it. Then let a Specter make room for Aloy near my room. Then let someone start on dinner. Please transfer Gaia in the labor and start her. And please tell her what happened so far and that both of them are safe. And set course to the first request that is near us."

"At once Captain. I will give them access to the not high priority rooms. The Specters are informed. Gaia will be transferred in the room the next 30 min and the course is set for the next request. Can I do anything else Captain?"

"Not for now Elisa."

"Then I will go on standby."

Tilda nodded. She knows that the AI doesn't really see that. But still. Then she began to plan the outfits for both of them. And she starts to plan how she can make both of them fall in love with her and start to do everything she wants. After all this is what she wants she gets. And both Aloy and Beta are hers to have. The beginning is set. She only needs to do some more work. She laughed at the thought and began to hum a Dutch song of her childhood.
