illustration i did for Allinall's animated adaptation of Lost Children, an homage to the 1997 Berserk anime. i'm endlessly grateful that i could've contributed to this particular project. it inspired me a lot and has grown very personal. it's gut wrenching and unnerving and everyone should watch it.

Just watched AllinAll's animation of the ending of the Lost Children chapter (the one with the butterfly girl). It's pretty good, some people might be off-put by the goofier aspects of it, though personally I think that it helps show how depraved Guts really was at that time in the manga. But more importantly, it made me appreciate that ending alot. I used to think everything between "The Black Swordsman" arc and the "Birth Ceremony" chapter (chronologically) was just carnage and rage but clearly I need to read those again. Just shows that there's always some beauty to be shown in Berserk, even in the darkest parts of the manga. I mean, even in the Eclipse there was Judaeu's unsung love for Casca.
