ok but imagine you have two daughters with ushijima, Airi (15) and Keina (14) who are supposed to look out for each other but during try outs this happens
Wakatoshi was on the couch waiting for all of you to come home. Finally, the door unlocks and you come in first with the girls following in after.
“Hi.”
“Hi, dad.” They say in unison and you give a half-smile at him.
“How was it?”
“My jersey number is number one.” Aira says casually and Wakatohsi nods, “very proud, well earned.”
“Thanks, Dad.”
“Keina?”
“Yeah, dad?”
“What number are you?”
“Ummm-” She hesitates and looks back at Airi. “It’s lower than last year.”
“What do you mean lower than last year not possible-”
‘Well apparently it is and I’d like to stop talking about it, please.”
“Okay.” He agrees then invites her to sit down next to him. She walks over as he slowly opens his arms and she leans into him. “Anything else you want to talk about?”
“No.”
“That’s fine. Airi? What about you?”
“Oh, everyone kept saying how I looked just like you. It was kinda funny-”
“Can you shut up about that?” Keina rolls her eyes and stands up from the couch.
“What?”
“You act like we don’t hear that all the time. You have his eyes, you have his hair, no one cares anymore.”
Airi exhaled so quickly it could be mistaken for a laugh, “I mean you obviously still do.”
“I don’t really, it's just annoying.
“It’s only annoying to you. I mean you’re just mad because you look like Mom.” She spits and you couldn’t help but fake a smile at how her venom laces her tone.
“What is that supposed-” Wakatoshi starts to defend you but you hold her hand up, “no, let her finish.”
“You are so weird!” Keina says. “Literally every time someone says you look like Dad you high off of their approval. You act so mature but it’s all bullshit. Everyone in this house can tell considering how fast you unravel, like right now. It’s so fake. The way you have to try so hard to prove you’re related makes me question if you’re even his daughter because he would never do that. Just embrace your natural self Airi, you know, the bitch that you really are.”
“Keina-”
“Really?” Airi interrupts you. “You’re questioning if I’m his daughter? You really want to go there?” Keina’s face doesn’t move then Airi whips her head around to face Wakatoshi so fast her ponytail switches to the other side of her shoulder. “Dad, do you want to know what number imouto really is?”
“Airi, don’t,” Keina warns.
“No, if you already think I’m such a bitch why should I keep your secrets?”
“Secrets?” Wakatoshi repeats.
“Yeah, Dad when Keina said her number was lower than before she didn’t go from eight to nine, she went from eight to nothing,” Airi reveals while Keina opens her mouth to speak but instead says nothing.
“What?”
“She didn’t get a damn jersey. They only gave it to the girls who would be on the starting lineup, which she didn’t make the cut for, and the four alternates, which again she didn’t make the cut for. And honestly, who’s surprised? So tell me Kei, who’s really not his daughter? All you have is being left-handed and being a spiker- oh wait you don’t even have that anymore since you can’t seem to hit anything in-bounds. I mean Dad went to the Olympics and was top three when he was our age yet you can’t even make the middle school team as a second year. You’ll never play on the same courts he did. You’re the one who’s nothing like him, and you never will be.”
“Airi, that was too far-”
“You know,” Keina finally speaks and over her father but doesn’t dare to look at him. “I kinda always knew that if one of us were to not make it all the way it would be me but I didn’t know you were always thinking the same thing. So that’s- that’s just- just great.
“Kei-”
“Thank you actually. For telling Dad all that before I was ready. And for telling Mom too yeah,” she inhales, “thanks so much. Because maybe the disappointment was inevitable, but at least now it’s not prolonged. My Nee-chan, huh? Always looking out.”
Dinner is quiet that night.
Eventually, the two head back to their shared room. Their beds being parallel to each other made it easy for them to look up at the ceiling and avoid eye contact. “Keina I’m really-”
“You said you weren’t surprised," Keina interrupts breathlessly and adjusts herself to look at her sister.’
“I-”
“That really sucked. Was it as of recently or did you just always know I wasn’t going to make it as far as you?”
“Keina I didn’t mean that.”
“That just doesn’t come out of nowhere. At least part of it had to be true.” She says and waits for her Airi to correct her but, “I’m really sorry.”
“No, you’re not.” Keina sniffles. “You’re not. You’re just sorry it came out like that. You’re sorry Mom and Dad heard. I’m the one who’s sorry. I should have known you thought that way about me when every time I would miss a spike you’d stop setting to me or I mess up one receive and you don’t pass to me. And you did that for years and I just didn’t notice. How did I not notice? I can’t believe I actually bought all that bullshit about you saying we were a duo. I’m so stupid- to think- to think that you actually believed in me.”
“I do believe in you Keina.”
“Mhm, yeah.” Keina slowly turns her body back to face the wall and whispers, “just not enough, right?” And part of her hopes her sister doesn’t hear, but she does, and just about breaks her heart.

i think the design palette is going to reflect what is happening with the designer’s seven with cheska possibly retiring and giving anju the spot as pm’s designer, the episode revealing that it doesn’t even necessarily have to be seven, because before aira got big when anju was in middle school
oh holy shit i just realised something. uh oh.
but yeah i think perhaps the idols themselves are going to be taking some kind of control of the designing, almost in a wiki-type way, aira is maybe going to make mirai like a junior designer since she’s very creative likes to draw and is generally good at clothes and also her image matches the brand itself much better. because it was, in the meta, literally made for her.
i don’t know how that’s going to fit in with dear crown, probably they are going to be more of a rival production company than a clothing store in pretty rhythm or a burando like in pripara.
like there is probably going to be some, like, alternate meganee. who bosses around suzu’s older brother or something.
who knows.
but uh, the thing i realised. what’s uh. the age difference between aira and anju. like she was a professional running a start-up clothing brand when anju was in middle school. like let’s say aira was fresh out of high school, eighteen, and anju was in her third year, so fourteen. but it seems like anju is definitely like, an adult now herself, which would be like, eighteen and twenty one, which is perfectly fine for a romantic relationship, but the fact that aira knew her when she was a kid does put a bit of a complicated spin on it.
anyway if it turns out that anju is only sixteen i’ll stop shipping it but it doesn’t seem like it so i’ll just. keep shipping it.
also i predict that they will be jumping a year forward in school. mirai and the gang can be second year protagonists like all the rest, which means that perhaps, if i guessed right, that hikari and devi and ruu can be in middle school. since their current elementary school bans the use of the pricast on its premises, being in middle school will open up their freedom so that they can finally become the sweets based itazura unit we deserve.
since non got twinkle ribbon sweet, would hikari then get sweet honey twinkle? hahahaha no. plus, she’ll probably join up with dear crown anyways.

Oh my dear god. The antler madness continues. Now the dogs are going to hurt each other with the antler hats. What the actual funky?!
The best part is how Aira is, of course, not speaking up and just letting Keirr call all the shits (and I refuse to accept some bullshit explanation that that’s her characterization--every other fuckin’ female character of his is like this. They all can’t speak for themselves).
Also, the Starbucks Tribe gotta go with their redface facepaint. And uselessness to the story as whole. If you go back to the pre-Coffee Tribe Aira/Keirr scene, Keirr literally fuckin’ said HEY LET’S GO FIND MY FAMILY, Aira said there’s a tribe nearby that could help, and Keirr indicated they’d drop in for info and leave.
Not this fuckin’ bullshit Kique’s pulled out of his ass where apparently Keirr now wants to stay, has disregarded everything he said before, and five days is all it took for the Coffee Tribe to accept them.
I genuinely believe Kique has no concept of time. The story only started time-skipping so much, anyway, after he received endless, nonstop criticism about the shit pacing. Seriously--majority of the action and drama happened within six days. Roamer and Kargo were together by two weeks. Now, apparently, this suspicious asshole jarl has accepted Keirr and Aira into his tribe after five goddamn days.
I have so much to rant about this. Don’t get me started on how convenient it is all the tribes follow the same system, don’t technically HAVE to listen to the matriarch (whom I have many thoughts about as well), and everyone adheres to some paint system even fuckin’ though literally no tribe has enough members that would require them to need visual identification of members. Now it’s just gimmicky that every fuckin’ tribe does it.
I guess they all agreed to it in the Aedra group chat.

Okay but like some funny/sweet/random moments of the live
- their neighbour coming in and them having to move their cars ((Bojan's and Jan's I believe) and of course Jure doing that)
- Jan and Nace cuddling (also Kris wanting to lean on Jan's shoulder)
- Bojan talking about what he and Nace ate today and how it was his first bowl (apparently mango & avocado is a gross combination)
- JO but especially Nace teasing Jan with the sparklative incident
- Kris and his slay pose
-someone asking if Kris' brother is single and him saying he doesn't even know what's going on with him
- Nace apparently talking to his hairdresser about getting a haircut and Jure teasing Jan that he will only cut his hair a little bit if he cuts it (also the hair talk in general lol)

It's almost 3 in the morning and I am reminiscing about 2023...what a year! There was so much joy, so much happiness, so I guess it's my time now to be sappy<3
Here's to the amazing year I had and things I will always remember
I remember endless summers. I remembered sitting outside in the sun, enjoying life. I remembered walks in the late evening feeling the warmth on my skin. I remember finding a place that reminded me of childhood, where time seemingly had stood still. I remembered taking pictures of every rainbow I saw. I remember making bracelets at 2 in the morning and listening to music I didn't understand. I remembered every sunset I watched and enjoyed. I remember teaching myself a new language and the joy I had in learning. I remember drawing flowers with chalk on the sidewalk. I remembered sitting outside with my dad and watched the stars, talking about life. I remembered going on adventures with my mom and finding places we never saw before. I remember reuniting with my best friend. I remember endless nights and late evenings. The sun on my skin, warming me and telling me everything is going to be fine. I remember summer and the freedoms that came with it.
I remember the days getting shorter and the sun still on my skin, foreign music still blasting in my ears. I remembered still studying a languages I stumbled upon merely months ago. I remember it getting colder and being sad for a summer I wish had never ended. I remember turning the music up and everything was fine again. I remember finally meeting some of you and having the time of my life at the concert of my dreams and the promise that it won't be the last. I remember carving pumpkins and buying tons of candy. I remember writing and getting into writing again, meeting new like-minded people because of it. I remember fun.
I remember the cold setting in and the first snow, snow I didn't know would wait with an adventure for me. I remember having forgotten to make bracelets this time and rushing to make them in one night, still unsure whether or not I would make it. I remember chaos and the joy in finally making it to my destination, to the concert. I remember having the time of my life, meeting you guys again. I remember going from city to city to meet friends, Christmas spirit finally setting in but still foreign music, that isn't that foreign anymore, blasting in my ears. I remember Christmas and doing the same things every year and enjoying it all the same. I remember the days between the years and reminiscing on all of it.
I remember today and I can't wait for tomorrow.
