Umm ok so...
When Vampire Science was being first written, both Blum and Orman originally featured Grace in the story. However, a higher up at the BBC told them (about 15,000 words in, ahhh!) that they could not due to rights issues with Universal. So, Carolyn McConnel was created instead. However. this certainly did not stop miss Orman from posting the original draft of chapter one on her old webpage!

Oh! 😍 this is the first time I think I’ve been sent this scenario actually so how neat!
The way he would be looking at you girl i- he knows he should try and be proper, respectful but also knows his interest is obvious, knows his eyes keep slipping from yours to pan over your body again and again and that you’re watching him do it too but he can’t help himself
Your skin is still a bit dewy from the steam of the shower, maybe there’s a stray droplet of water or two sliding down your collarbone to the valley between your chest, cut off from where the towel sits and he’s two seconds away from short circuiting
Alfred’s trying not to think about reaching forward, tugging at the towel so that it loosens and slips off you, trying not to think about how soft your skin must be, that you’re bare under the fabric, whew!
The scent of your body wash or shampoo lingering about you too! How warm and cozy you look in the towel that’s hugging your frame and giving him new peeks at your body, shoulders, legs, arms, yeah it’s gonna take him a minute to regain composure like fully tripping over his words, nearly forgetting what he was going to ask or say to you kind of flustered!
(Also gonna indulge in thinking about this on the seeing end, meaning being the one to see Alfred in just a towel for the first time like the image of it hanging off his hips, chest still bare, being able to see his back! His arms!!! Help I wouldn’t make it!)

Pay day!!! Which means I can finally get these! Gosh I'm excited.
First one is How to Sell your Blood and Fall in Love by @brynwrites. Already own the first novel in the series (which is a companion) and am currently reading and loving it.
Second one is A Rival Most Vial by @ashen-crest.
I have been so hype to buy both of these. I love filling my shelves with indie paperbacks. Something really satisfying about it.
