#my art#dracula#dracula daily#the demeter#im so mad i finished drawing THEN realised i couldve drawn it from the back so that the wheel forms a halo & the rosarys directly overhead#but i was too focused on the idea of the captains corpse being in a praying pose AAAAA#based the background bit off nautical compass roses and sun illustrations#agh im still mad abt missing out on combining nautical and religious imagery but im reluctant to redraw#took some creative liberty in that the crucifix is in his hand rather than tied to the wheel. kept there by rigor mortis if you like#cw death#in a way?
