• honestly, Hobie is usually good at understanding how people are feeling by merely studying their expressions- he’s observant

• so when he can’t do that with you, he’s intrigued- and he’s curious. It’s one of the reasons he fell in love with you.

• he knows you aren’t emotionless, he isn’t stupid, and eventually he realises that sometimes some people just.. don’t express how they feel physically.

• and he’s okay with that!

• sometimes, he just needs to see you smile, so he might ask you to smile for him or he’ll tell a joke he KNOWS will get you to smile, even just a little bit.

• it’s not out of disrespect for the fact that you don’t express emotions physically, he just needs to see you smile sometimes

• when you talk to him about your emotions verbally, he gives you time and nods along when you explain you struggle showing how you feel physically.

• he respects it and understands- he’s not gonna insult you or tell you it’s weird, he loves and respects that’s how you are and he wouldn’t change it.

• as time goes by, he understands that- you do show emotions physically- they’re just very difficult to see.

• nobody but Hobie notifies the slight curl of your lips at his jokes, the slight dilation of your pupils in reaction to information, the way the muscles in your face twitch slightly, the way your gaze lingers.

• nobody but him notices: and that makes him feel special.

• he’s always available and open to you talking to him, he’s a tease and (jokingly) a prick sometimes, but he cares and loves you more than you know. He truly wants nothing more than for you to be happy, whether it can be seen by the naked eye or not.

• as for you being goth, he LOVES IT

• your styles are similar, but not similar enough to be the same. It doesn’t matter what gothic subculture, he adores it.

• I he loves the makeup and accessories, and you will occasionally trade or swap bracelets and etc. just like i wrote with the Hobie x pink lover reader, you find ways to put your own accessories into eachothers styles.

• depending on the day, he’ll let you paint his nails and/or do some light eyeliner on him!! NO TOXIC MASCULINITY ROUND HERE!!!! YEAAAAA MEN WHO ARENT AFRAID TO BE IN TOUCH WITH THEIR FEMININE SIDE!!!! :3333

• your aesthetics go together quite nicely actually, you two look so cute together.

• if you have piercings then he’ll help you with them and/or give you some new ones!! (Yea. He knows how to give piercings, ofc he does)

• will love you forever if you have a septum right and a nose bridge one (i love both septums and the nose bridge ones sm 😭)
