Sus inolvidables temas para The Rockford Files, Hill Street Blues, The A-Team, Magnum P.I., NYPD Blue, L.A.
Law & Order Criminal Intent, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, The Rockford Files, Magnum PI, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, The A-Team, Wiseguy, Hunter, The Commish, Quantum Leap, Doogie Howser MD, Blossom, Hooperman, The White Shadow, Hardcastle & McCormick, Byrds of Paradise, News Radio, Silk Stalkings y Renegade. Los temas de The Rockford Files, The Greatest American Hero, Hill Street Blues y L.A.

Concert Review: Paul McCartney
Wed. June 8, 2022 @ Fenway Park (Boston, MA)
Every now and again you have these surreal life experiences that make you feel like anything is possible. Last week I got to review Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band when they were in Boston. I found out that afternoon and I moved mountains that evening to get there. Less than a week after seeing Sir Ringo, I got to see Sir Paul McCartney on his second night at Fenway Park. I found out from a friend at about 6PM that they had an extra ticket and I had to move even more mountains to make it happen, but I managed to get over there and (miraculously) found parking. Two Beatles in one week? For a lifelong Beatle fanatic like myself this was quite a week! Anything is possible!
Sir Paul at Fenway Park
I first saw Macca on July 18, 2009 when he was doing some shows at Citi Field in NYC. It was significant because he was the first concerts at the newly-opened baseball stadium and The Beatles were the first concert at Shea Stadium, which was closed the previous year. My friend and I went and Macca put on a great show for about three hours. Portions of that show were included in the live album Good Evening New York City. In 2010, when I saw Ringo Starr at Radio City Music Hall on Ringo’s 70th birthday, Macca came out as the surprise guest during the encore to do “Birthday” with Ringo. Beyond those two shows, I surprisingly have not see Macca live. Just a few weeks from now he turns 80 and much like Ringo (who turns 82 in July), any chance to see either of them is important because they could be retiring soon.
Macca at the piano
For over 100 years, Fenway Park has been the home of the Boston Red Sox. With the exception of a few concerts in the 70s, it wasn’t until 2003 when they began doing concerts there. Macca has played there many times since 2009. It is easily one of the greatest venues to see a concert. In the last few years I’ve been luck enough to see Foo Fighters in 2015 and 2018 and Pearl Jam at the legendary ball park. I arrived during the sixth song of the set unfortunately. But this was a big-time rock concert in every sense of the word. Macca can bring the house down rocking with his full band (his band guitarist Rusty Anderson, guitarist Brian Ray, keyboardist Paul “Wix” Wickens, and drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. have been with Macca’s touring band since the early 00s) or as a solo artist onstage with just his guitar or mandolin or ukulele or piano.

There were plenty of Beatles and Wings songs and loads of anecdotes in between songs. He had tributes to John Lennon with “Here Today”, to George Harrison with “Something” and one of the highlights of the show was when he used Lennon’s isolated vocals courtesy of Peter Jackson, who had access to it for his excellent documentary The Beatles: Get Back, and the full band performed “I’ve Got a Feeling” along with it. Macca even did an old song by his pre-Beatles band The Quarrymen “In Spite of All the Danger”. As great and fun as Ringo’s show was, it was an oldies act since Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band didn’t do a song past the 80s. Macca has continued to put out solid albums since Wings and this show had a number of songs from albums he released in the last ten or fifteen years. When he came out for the encore, Macca waved a Ukrainian flag and the band waved other flags including the U.S. and a rainbow flag. No matter what year it is, Macca always seems to be able to say the right thing about the times we are in!
