Ik ben “My First Highway” gaan kijken in Brussel met een vriend. Het was in een kleine bioscoop en we waren maar met 8 in de zaal. Ik was meegegaan omdat de hoofdacteur Aaron Roggeman de neef is van mijn vriend. Ik had niet veel verwacht van deze film omdat het niet echt bekend was maar ik was positief verrast. Het gaat over Benjamin een 16 jarige jongen die elk jaar op vakantie gaat in een camping in Spanje. Daar ontmoet hij een Vlaams meisje in een supermarkt waar hij op verliefd wordt. Ze gaan samen een avontuur beleven dat niet zo goed gaat eindigen. Het zal een herinnering zijn dat voor altijd in zijn geheugen gegrift zal zijn.
Completely random, but someone asked me this and it might be interesting for y’all to know: how to pronounce the cast members names in a Flemish way. Read these out loud with an American accent in mind. Had fun with this 😂
Don’t forget that Flemish words usually have flat, dull sounds at the end. F.e. an ‘e’ is usually not pronounced ‘eeey’ but ‘ehhh’ like one in ‘egg’. Or an ‘a’ is not like the one in ‘all’, but more like the one in ‘ma’am’.
