Emirates Airbus A380-842, A6-EVH. The Airbus A380 is a large wide-body airliner that was developed and produced by Airbus. It is the world's largest passenger airliner and only full-length double-deck jet airliner. Airbus studies started in 1988, and the project was announced in 1990 to challenge the dominance of the Boeing 747 in the long-haul market. The then-designated A3XX project was presented in 1994; Airbus launched the €9.5 billion ($10.7 billion) A380 program on 19 December 2000. The first prototype was unveiled in Toulouse on 18 January 2005, with its first flight on 27 April 2005. It then obtained its type certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on 12 December 2006. Due to difficulties with the electrical wiring, the initial production was delayed by two years and the development costs almost doubled. It was first delivered to Singapore Airlines on 15 October 2007 and entered service on 25 October. Production peaked at 30 per year in 2012 and 2014. Airbus A380 was the biggest achievement of Airbus company . A380 is the largest commercial aircraft with all the advance facilities such as a Bar and Bed Room etc.

A380 is normally uses for long distance traveling and have 4 powerful and advance jet engine ( gp7000).

Top speed of this aircraft is 1,185 km/h , with wingspan 80m , length 73m , with range 15,200km , unit US dollar 445.6 million which is about 33,90,90,46,000 in Indian rupees ( April 1,2020).

The company is going to stop the building of Airbus A380 due to very high cost and low demand. Only Emirates became the first company to have A380 model in huge number.

The cost of A380 is 2,100 crores in Indian rupees , and A380 consumes more fuel as compared to A320neo which is best for domestic traveling and A350 is best for international traveling.

One of the most disadvantage of A380 is that it can only lands on big Airport not on the airport which has average runway size , but A320 and A350 can have the ability to land on average size of runway.
