ALSO, I TRIED TO DO FEATHER HAIR??? DIDN'T WORK. IT'S SO DIFFICULT. NO ONE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE THIS DIFFICULT. LIKE HUH??? HAIR??? FEATHERS??? Anyway, now it's a weird combination of feather hair. And looks kinda wonky. Sorry 'bout that.

Onto the statement, it’s not surprising to me that he may think this way. Many people consider me “over-dramatic” due to my predilection for exuberant displays when it comes to massive gatherings or formal events. It is, however, something I have a tendency to do as a way to catch the attention of the audience. I may not agree with Mother Goose on many fronts, but there is one thing she is correct about. The audience loves a show, and I am more than happy to oblige. Though, Tangerina has more choice words on the issue. I was made to listen to accusations of hypocrisy in relation to the actions of his wife and her preference for dramatics as well. Though, I still wish them both the best, despite whatever reservations they may have in regards to me.

Hi! With great joy I'm ready to launch, hopefully with your help and participation, Chris Colfer's 2023 birthday video, "From then to now"

I've started thinking about all the years we've been knowing Chris and following his amazing career, his projects and achievements. Related to this, I focused on the fact that since last year we've been celebrating the anniversaries of his book's publications and on how proud he is of being an author... and that's when the inspiration for the video came! We will be going down the memory lane, thinking back to when we first knew him, up until now!

Here are the instructions to participate in this year's project, if you're doing the video you can send just one, if you take pics you'll have to send two, one for each part!

I want you to share:

➡️ the first memory you have of Chris, how you got to know him, the first moment you thought how amazing he is

➡️AND then your favorite quote from his books! Plus wish him a Happy Birthday!

You can either:

-🎥 record a video of yourself telling about the first memory you have of him + then reading or telling your fave quote from his books+ WISH HIM HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Video lenght: max 20 seconds + the quote (make it possibly no more than 30 seconds in total)

I have a whole essay on why the Fairy Council sucks in the Land of Stories series, and every time I see someone go “why are they like this in the main series but are so cool in the prequel series???” I have the greatest urge to break it out and share it. But, I’ll give a little tl;dr version here because the answer might actually surprise you! (And the actual length of this rant is too long because I have a lot to say when it comes to the technicalities of things…)

The Fairy Council was founded to fight for the rights of the magical community. Fairies, witches, people with magic in their blood, and magical creatures were being oppressed by mankind. The Fairy Council established a protection for themselves and those like them—that’s the whole reason why they’re so important. However, after they developed (mostly) peaceful relations between the magical community and mankind, they became obsessed with making sure mankind didn’t turn on them again. Over the course of like 200+ years, the Fairy Territory becomes the Fairy Kingdom, but the only fairies that are allowed to stay there are the fairies that best represent the magical community. Which is why we see Trix go on trial for something as small as turning some guy’s wings into leaves. The council is still obsessed with pleasing mankind, and that has essentially made them do a complete turn-around to the point where they’re the ones oppressing members of the magical community. They don’t even consider that the Dwarf Forests are essentially a death sentence for pixie-sized fairies. They just do what they can to keep their image as pure as possible—which is why you SHOULD feel a little off or hate them a bit! They are good people, but they’re also traumatized from what they grew up with. Which is why it’s very important to switch around people in power as generations go by! They were living in the golden age but treating it like they were still at risk of being oppressed until Alex and Conner came along and that triggered a bit of a change because Alex is from a different generation and brings in a different perspective to how the council should handle situations.

There’s so much more guys—I could go into detail about each of the council member’s ideals and how they make decisions and whether or not they’re listened to because of the council hierarchy and aaaaa don’t even get me started
