Zechariah 4:10 (NKJV) - For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”

Books of Ezra and Nehemiah
@rwggrace2 opened the invitation for more of these, so here's another one :)
The Samaritans, other groups, more other people: Y’all should stop building the walls of Jerusalem, it’s scaring us
Nehemiah: No :)
Ezra: You mean ‘No >:)’
Also the name Zerubbabel (pronounced Zer-rub-ab-bul by the audio version I’m listening to) is the best-worst name I’ve ever heard—I kept saying it under my breath and giggling all through those chapters XD

Zechariah 4:7 Mountains Shall Crumble
Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”. Zechariah 4:7 Mountains exist in many different parts of the world. Some are extremely high and cover a large portion of area, making it very difficult to get over or around. Mountaineers find it a great challenge to find a way to climb to the top…

The Future Recognition of Zerubbabel
Haggai 2:23 23 ‘In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the Lord, ‘and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the Lord of hosts.   The Bible Knowledge Commentary – Haggai 2:23 A proclamation of the restoration of the Davidic kingdom (2:23) 2:23. The Restorers
Neal Pollard You can credit (or blame) a 16th-Century French scholar, printer, and typographer named Robert Etienne for our modern division of the Bible into individual verses. He’s sometimes known by his Latin name, Robert Stephanus. Overall, he did an incredibly commendable job. Sometimes his divisions are head-scratching, like in Ezra 2. This chapter has 70 verses, as he gives each family of…

Revelation 11: The Two Witness (Historical and Preterist Views)
The Two Witnesses are something of a conundrum for expositors looking to history for fulfillment. Were they actual people (some think so), or representative of groups of people? Maybe they're allegories for truth? #TwoWitnesses #Revelation11
And I will deliver to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, having been wrapped around in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks who have been standing before the Lord of the earth. But if someone is wanting to do wrong to them, fire comes forth out of their mouths and devours their enemies, and if someone would be wanting to do…

The Message of Haggai
The Prophet HaggaiAnonymous (1610) The book of Haggai contains four messages which were proclaimed in the second year of Darius I, king of Persia. These messages were preached to the people who had returned from their exile in Babylon, urging them to finish the rebuilding of the temple which was left unfinished after Sheshbazzar had laid its initial foundation. Haggai’s ministry lasted three and…

A beautiful gravestone from master carver Zerubbabel Collins. But at the time I didn't know who he was.

Here’s an incredible grave carved by Benjamin Collins. He was known for so called “shallow carving” in that he didn’t cut too deep into the stone. But what a work of art this grave is. Not only is the soul effigy very unique but there are eight pinwheel designs, meant to symbolize the gates of eternity. Also, what looks like the sun and the moon are seen below the soul and between the two pinwheels at the top of the stone. Benjamin Collins was the carver Zerubbabel’s father. This burial ground is an intense place to visit. If that is, you enjoy seeing strange folk-art on old gravestones from the 18th century.
